We got this to fit my daughters new HP 14 inch laptop. It fits perfectly, and you can just fit the power cord into the inner mesh pocket. We all like that it is a kind of a hybrid. It is as small as a soft side but it really is hard enough to protect the laptop from sharp objects within her larger backpack. Probably not bullet proof but she's a careful kid. Excellent price and pretty too!
