Angry Birds Lenticular Large Backpack Bag 16"

The backpack I just received in the mail is not the one pictured here. The backpack I received has a blue background and doesn't have the separate red area with "Angry Birds" written on it. The backpack I received is the same one that's at Toys R Us for $16.99....VERY disappointed!!!

My five-year-old loved this backpack. He liked it so much that I also bought the lunch tote. Immediately upon receipt, I noticed that the zipper pulls were already unraveling. While not a big deal, I am sad to report that the zippers broke on both the backpack and the lunch tote after just a few uses. Spend a little more money and get something that lasts.

We bought this for my youngest son, who loves Angry Birds. It is a surprisingly big and light backpack. It is too early to tell yet but it does look durable. He loves this backpack and so do his friends.

UPDATE: Had to downgrade the overall grade because it fell apart after a few weeks. It was too costly for such a thing to happen.

We all want our kids to be rocking the latest and greatest pieces of gear, right? I know I do.

And when the Angry Birds wave came, it took the market, and many wallets, by storm.

This backpack is no exception. It's a nice looking backpack and, well, it does it's job of holding things pretty well..

That zipper though.. Errrr!. That zipper! I'd give this product an easy 5 stars if the zipper didn't stop functioning after about a week. We fixed it, and it came off again. And well, no one wants a backpack that doesn't close, right? Also, this isn't an isolated issue. Many a parent that I have spoken with encountered the same problem, unfortunately.

it's too bad, the backpack itself is certainly nice, and I do recommend this item, just as long as you take heed of the darn zipper.

I give it an overall 3.5.
