Plenty of pockets for small items (pencil case, wallet, cellphone, etc.). Wish it also had a side handle--big bag gets pretty heavy when full--difficult to lift and load in the car with just the one handle at the top. Otherwise, very good product. Priced well too.

This backpack is large enough to hold all the necessary supplies my 6th grader lugs back & forth from school. Also, it has several compartments which help in organization. It seems sturdy and well built.

The shoulder strap broke off within about 3 weeks. Not sure if it's a fluke or a recurring problem. Otherwise my 11 year old daughter loves it! It is too big for her locker but is also stuffed full.Going to see what happens with return/exchange.

Barbie Hard Shell Rolling Luggage Case

My daughter received the Barbie suitcase before a big trip two week trip this past summer. She packed the bag herself. Took absolute responsibility for organizing and maintaining her clothes and toiletries. She was able to fit all of her clothes for the trip. The suitcase looks very sleek. Held up well to two weeks of moving around. Rolled well. She felt so grown up.

I gave it five stars for educational value because it allowed her to be very responsible. From the packing initially, to moving her items around from place to place, to maintaining order within it, this was a great opportunity for her to really step up and demonstrate control over this aspect of her life.

Be aware -there is a very thin, almost invisible layer of protective film covering the entire hard shell surface of this case! When I received it, I didn't know this and it looked like the whole cover was scratched -to the point I even contacted the seller to say that their "new" product didn't look new at all. But as I was looking it over and considering how I might be able to "fill in" the scratches, right around the seam of where the hard shell meets the pink zipper line, I saw a little bit of thin plastic film sticking up. I started to remove a little of it, and was even worried that I was taking off a layer of paint or "shine" or something, but lo and behold, underneath the film the shell looked beautiful. It was even shinier, and all the "scratches" pulled off with the film. So I wanted to write this to let people know that if the casing looks dull or scratched, check to see if the film has been removed!!!

Otherwise, I like this case. I'm giving it to my niece to use as her Barbie doll and clothes organizer, and the deep pocket on the side of the hard shell (once opened) is perfect for her doll clothes while the inside case with the elastic straps will house her dolls wonderfully. She loves it, and it's much better and more durable than those cheap plastic Barbie organizers you find at Toys R Us!

I got this for my 7 year old daughter. It's actually a nice sized case I'm sure it will fit everything she needs for up to a week's trip. It seems sturdy and high quality. It's light enough that I know she will be able to easily maneuver it through the airport, even when it's packed full of clothes. It has big inline-type wheels, so it rolls really well without flipping around or the wheels getting locked up. I also like that the handle locks at 2 different heights.

Ours came with a sticker instructing to remove the protective film; once the film is removed it does look really sharp shiny black, just like the picture. My daughter likes it because it looks "grown up" and it does look more mature than the really juvenille-looking rolling bags we looked at so I'm pretty confident that we'll be able to use it for several years as she matures. My only problem now? She wants to start packing tonight and we don't leave for 2 months!

My daughter loved it! I was worried the condition of the bag at first b/c when it arrived, it was not wrapped in plastic, or in a product box. It just arrived with the tags on it in the fedex shipping box. Upon taking it out, it looked as if it was not new, which kind of made me mad until I read the sticker on the front stating "Peel protective cover off". Once I peeled the protective covering off, the bag looked just like the picture. Very, very, fast delivery. Although, I was a little disappointed that the bag did not come in a product box or plastic wrap like my sons Toy Story luggage came. Anyway my daughter loved her birthday gift. This was for my 9 yr old daughter. She loves it. The colors are beautiful and the quality is extremely good. The pack is a good size for her--not too big, not too small--but looks like it will also continue to be a good size as she grows. We had to cinch the waistband down a lot, but the way it is designed we can at least do it, unlike some other pack that only tighten so far. She's able to do the clasp herself but it is plenty sturdy. Overall, very happy with this!

I ordered this for my 5th grader for school. It is a great quality product. Very sturdy, well made, and lots of room inside and outside pockets. It wheels very smoothly, and has a lot of padding in back of backpack and padded straps for optional backpack use. Very pleased with purchase.

I would not recommend this product for anyone who needs to walk on a sidewalk with it. The wheels are terrible and cannot tolerate anything but an extremely smooth surface. I live in the city and walk 3 blocks to the train station. This involves walking on a sidewalk, one of which is cobblestone. After only 3 trips, the flimsy wheels turned inward and now the backback drags instead of rolls. It's such an arm workout to try to "roll" it with stuck wheels that I won't use it anymore. It was a total waste of $26. I guess you get what you pay for.

I had great hopes for this backpack. My fourth grader's Land's End monogramed backpack fell apart after five months and he needed something fast. We saw this on amazon.com and liked it. It was bigger. Seemed sturdy and looked good. And it was great, until the wheel housing fell out of the backpack. The reason this gets one star is, he was able to tuck the wheel back up into the pack and can use it temporarily. Because we know it's only a matter of time before the wheel won't tuck back in. The wheels are pockmarked as well, so not a lot of hope in them lasting. Very disappointing because we'll have to buy yet another backpack and we have no trust whatever we get will make it to June.

I bought 2 of these for my 11 year old girls in January 2012. I got the pink one and the red one. Initial appearance of them was favorable. They liked the look of them and were happy with the number of pockets it has. The one feature I was particularly pleased with was the pull out cover for the wheels/bottom so that if used as a backpack instead of a roller it won't get their backs dirty. One thing I found useful to do was to tuck the shoulder straps into the pocket at the back / top so that they don't drag when being rolled. The one complaint I have about this however is that the bottom of the strap is not removable via a clip like others have. This means that the the strap length must be stretched longer in order to fit flat in the pocket ever time it is stored. If they needed to switch from roller to backpack often this could become annoying to have to adjust the strap length each time.

I hope the product will last as long as other backpacks they have used (or hopefully longer since it is more expensive than their usual one). I will update this once they start showing some sign of end of their usable life. Hopefully they continue to follow my request to always zip the zippers before carrying it by the handle, and also pull the straps to compress the thickness according to the contents, which should help prevent weight shifts when being rolled around and should help reduce stress on the backpack.

It is a beautiful bag and I love the canvas material it is made of. It seems light and sturdy. The bag weights about 2.8 LB including all straps and changing pad. The backpack straps are built-in and when you want to stow the straps away, you just unclip the bottom clips, place the backpack straps in the zippered compartment in the back, and zip up. You can also store the messenger strap in this pocket. Nice and neat. The side pockets can accommodate 17oz water bottles, although if you put one bottle each side, it may take away a little space away from the main compartment. I love the additional outside front pocket -a good mommy pocket if you don't mind your smart phone near the magnets. I love the 2 stationary insulated bottle pockets inside, again large enough even for adult water bottles. Under the messenger flap is a deep zippered pocket.

But a few things bother me. I hope timi and leslie can improve on.

1)The inside lining is dark chocolate. Very very hard to see, especially it is a deep bag. It seems I have to "scoop" the bottom of the main compartment to make sure things did not get forgotten. The lining in the main compartment is not sewn down. You can flip it out and get rid of crumbs, etc.. which is good, but on the flip side, it often creates crevices and hard to see the bottom of the bag.

2)In the backpack mode, the hard board at the bottom of the bag pokes at my back. The company should get rid of the cardboard and instead, reinforce the bottom with leather to give it structure.

3)back of the bag is not padded for comfort.

These are deal-breakers for me. They may not bother you.

Another minor complaint i have is it takes two efforts with one hand or takes 2 hands to close both flaps, because each flap has 2 small magnets at the corners. Not a big deal... but for a mom on the go, it could be annoying.

Also, pay attention to the picture of the internal main compartment. That is how big it is... not very big but it's deep. It is because of the 2 inside insulated bottle holders taking up space.

I get compliments on this diaper bag all the time! I bought this diaper bag on Amazon, while I was in Germany, based solely on its description. I am so glad I did!

Pros

It is well organized.

It is not too big, nor is it too small for everyday use. However, I would not recommend this for packing many things for an extended trip.

It may be used as a backpack. If you use an infant carrier, you will definitely appreciate this feature. It is very uncomfortable to use a shoulder strap while carrying your baby.

The backpack straps may be conveniently stored in the back zipper compartment.

The backpack straps are adjustable. I am only 4'11'', at 110 pounds, while my husband is 6'1'' at 170 pounds. Neither of us has any problem adjusting the straps to fit properly.

Cons

The stroller straps broke after only 3 months of use.

The shoulder strap is not long enough for most people to be able to use across their bodies (It is barely long enough for me at only 4'11'').

The bottle pockets do not keep bottles warm or cold for very long (maybe 2 hours).

I love this Diaper Bag! I can't say enough good things about it. I bought it because we had a second child and I wanted a backpack style to make it easier to carry with 2 babies. However, after recieving I wished I had found this when I had my first baby. I love that it has the backpack straps and shoulder strap. I can throw it on my back and have 2 free hands (really good when traveling in airports etc). I also love that it has a shoulder strap, I can hang it off my stroller or carry it like a traditional diaper bag. It also comes with stroller straps that work great too. I recently bought this item and got to use it for a trip. I found it rolled well, converted easily to a backpack, had a great side storage for my laptop and plenty of space for accessories. The only thing I would add would be inside pockets in the main storage area and to make the flap that pulls down to cover the wheels and allows you to use the straps for a backpack the same color as the outside of the backpack. It uses the inside color (orange on my black version) and I would have preferred it to keep with the black theme. The construction seems very sturdy and I am hoping to use this for all my travel in the future.

Unlike other Heys suitcases, this is very well built. Have used it for at least a dozen overseas trips, and still looks great. Useful as a carry on and having wheels and extendable handle is a great design. The main compartment is just one large cavity. Only organization is in the outer pocket. I use the sidepocket for my iPad. Mesh pockets on either side is good for water bottles and snacks. Mine came with a media iPod case also. I would add an airflow director on the backpanel to avoid a sweaty back. Also a waterproof cover would be nice.

I got this bag as a gift and the first thing I marveled at was how many pockets there are. There's a place for just about everything. The things that I'm not too happy about are: 1) the placement of the laptop compartment underneath the front flap. IMHO, this should really be in the center compartment of the bag. I find that when I'm only carrying my laptop, the bag will topple over on its side and never be able to stand up on its own. 2) There's zippers that open up on the bag so that you can put it on top of a rolling suitcase. I thought this was super handy at first, until the bag kept slipping off my suitcase and got all turned around on the handlebar.

This bag can fit an enormous amount of stuff, but for the sake of your back (but probably not your fashion sense) you may want to consider getting a rolling laptop bag.

I bought these because I was an adult toy distributor. These bags protected my demo items very nicely. I purchased the navy blue color. Very nice.

I was sorry to hear about "Chuck's" bad experience with the return policy on this, however, if you simply look at the item, they are well made and quite decent for the price. When I purchased these if you bought multiples, the shipping was reduced. Now it looks like that is not the case, so not such a good deal anymore. A pity because I was back to buy more. But if you ARE in the market for a simple cloth wine gift bag, you can dress this up with some nice tissue inside, plus the recipient can use it for any number of other things, which is a bonus. The blue and green are quite dark, but the red is true to what you see here, and the black is, well, black. I have not purchased any of the tan. If you like to give wine, this is a good way to go for presentation and most likely less expensive than a velvet bag.

Clik Elite Probody Sport Camera Backpack

Backpack is unreal. I have had it for just over two months now and have used it primarily as a hiking day pack.

Camera bay has room for a full size SLR (lens attached with a hood), batteries, filters and other small items and two spaces for lenses (large super-telephoto lenses may have some trouble fitting) or a flash. It holds everything very securely and nothing bounces around. Padded areas can be moved around as well and the entire compartment can be zipped out and the backpack can be made in to a regular hiking bag. Tripod carry is a little small... but I can see the same compartment doubling as an external shovel storage really well (spade removed) for the winter.

Top (main) compartment has room for a light jacket or sweater (rolled), water bottle, food and a few other small items. Not huge but as big as it needs to be to carry any essential items on a short hike.

Side pocket is pretty small and can't hold much... keys, batteries, SD cards. I don't really use it too much but I also haven't ever thought, "This backpack is great but I really wish this side pocket was bigger".

Top pocket holds licence, credit cards, etc. I would describe it as small sunglasses sized. Holds what I need it to.

Outer pocket holds a water bottle securely.

Backpack is extremely comfortable. Straps are amazing. Sits perfectly once it is on and requires little readjustment as you hike. Space for a bladder, though I don't use one, is a nice option. Had to use the rain cover once and it worked well... seems quality (though I was by no means walking in a monsoon).

Overall... best backpack I have owned. Low profile, compact and well designed; holds everything you need it to with no extra space. Buy it if you are looking for a good technical day pack that also holds your SLR. Looking forward to taking it out in the winter. Strikes me as an easy bag to ski/ride with.

I spent about a week comparing bags online trying to find the perfect one. I was looking for something to hold at least my 3 lenses ( 50mm, 10-22mm & 28-135mm ), my body ( 60d ), have a separate section for other things and have a place for a water reservoir. The problem with almost all the bags I looked at was that it was painfully apparent that they were designed to hold cameras and everything else seemed to be an afterthought. (Including comfort)

Fortunately the pro ( and compact ) sport break this mold. I originally bought both the compact and the pro models, but ended up returning the compact because everything fit a bit too tightly for my taste. The Pro Sport is really comfy, and has tons of room for gear. ( I could easily fit another telephoto + prime + flash on top of my current gear ) The lenses and camera are well protected and the amount of non camera space available is more than enough to fit snacks, a couple kindles and even some cold weather gear. If you're looking for a bag that is perfect for a long day excursion, you'd be hard pressed to do better than the Clik Elite Probody sport.

Update:

On a recent ski trip the buckle for the waist strap got shut in a car door and broke. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new buckle for free!

Pros:

1) Very well built. Material, zippers, padding are of the best quality.

2) Rain cover is useful

3) Holds Canon SLR w/ 24-70 mm lens attached, flash and extra 17-55 mm lens

4) The best shoulder straps I ever had. Backpack was very comfortable even after a few hours of walk.

5) Padding in the camera compartment was sufficient to protect the equipment.

6) Second compartment is not big but can easily hold a light rain jacket.

Cons:

1) Except for one small compartment on the top, there is nothing to keep small items, such as wallet, iPod, pen, etc. That's quite disappointing as I was planning to have a combination of a daily pack and a photo backpack.

2) Open side mesh pocket is not suitable for water bottle, as it is way to small to hold anything but a map. This is a big minus for me, as I'm not using water bladder.

3) Mesh pocket on the front is pretty much useless, as it's too small to hold something big and too loose to hold something small.

Other thoughts:

I would prefer mesh pockets on the waist belt.

Although I did appreciate quality and ergonomics, I had to return the backpack as I was looking for more "daily pack features" than CE708 has. I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for something to carry camera gear.

in the little time that i've had this pack i've put it through quite a bit of torture. it's held my D7000, lens, sd card case, bladder, hunting supplies, radio/gps, and i still had room. it's been pulled through thick brush and up through trees while hunting. great comfort from the back and straps.

I spent a while researching various sport oriented camera backpacks and i kept coming back to this one. It has all the features i need for my uses (mainly mountain biking) such as, a separate bladder compartment, enough space for various tools, pump, and a well padded camera compartment. However once i received the backpack, i soon realized the camera compartment in my opinion does not have enough padding. Specifically the flap that gains access to your camera. With my 60D mounted to a 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Lens, and a Flash and 50mm F/1.8 in the other pockets it is a very tight fit and i believe my body is vulnerable to damage from any bumps, because LCD and eyepiece is bulging the flap out. For a bag that is advertised to fit pro-bodies i think they could have made the camera area bigger and added more padding. Besides that it is a okay backpack, it is comfortable and does what i need it to.

Son is a huge fan of this invertebrate... and this backpack is for school. The multiple pockets are great for keeping things separated and the main pocket is big enough to hold his lunch box (Spongebob of course) as well as his homework folder and books. Great color too!

Deuter Futura Pro 42 Backpack

The Deuter Futura 42 is a wonderful backpack. Holds enough for a one or two overnighters. The mesh one the backside makes carrying weight very comfortable. Many pockets offer good organizational storage. I think any female hiker will love this backpack.

Received the backpack and found it was just as described. Seemed to be good quality and at a reasonable price. Looking forward to using this in the trail!

The mesh back was very important to me. Just finished my third day long hike since getting it. It wears well as I continue to get used to how to fine tune it to my body. The only reason it is four stars instead of five is the lack of detail on all the uses and what the pockets are best for. I have not been a hydration bladder user and I'm still trying to figure out if the bladder goes in the side pocket labeled H2O or in the large pouch located inside the main pack compartment. Instructions were on a very small tag (2" x 4"), hard to read and see what feature is being referred to. Overall, very pleased with this Backpack and Amazon service is always excellent!
