Arc'teryx Blade 30 Backpack

Arc'teryx Blade 30 BackpackAs you'd expect from Arc'teryx, bombproof quality & design. I've used this bag all day everyday, packed with laptop & heavy books/folders & more. The straps are comfortable, as are the handles. Perfect for travelling as well -

Sounds like I work for them! Overall Money well spent (Which for a student is saying something).

Top quality product and easy on the eyes. I highly recommend Arcteryx to anyone in need of a long lasting purchase.

Buy Arc'teryx Blade 30 Backpack Now

What can we say, this is just a big boxed shaped nylon bag with shoulder straps. They look slick, perfect for corporate setting, but when it comes to "real" corporate traveling, they s**k big time. Because they are made in such a way, there's no water bottle pockets or nylon mesh pockets to keep little things I'd need to grab quick. Everything must be in enclosed zipped compartments. Don't get me wrong, I think the bag is well designed for the purpose of being slick corporate environment, but anything outside this isn't flexible design at all.

Quality is okay, I've noticed one in a while lose sewing or unleveled cut of pieces here and there recently, which is sad to see. Not worth $ spent for sure.

AmazonBasics Netbook Bag with Handle, Fits 7- to 10-Inch Netbooks, iPad, HP Touchpad (Black)

AmazonBasics Netbook Bag with Handle, Fits 7- to 10-Inch Netbooks, iPad, HP TouchpadWell I am simply surprised. I have 4-5 other netbook cases and this one is significantly better than all of them, for a lower price (a word on pricing later):

* The handles are the right thickness and "feel" they aren't just webbing that seems like an afterthought and feels uncomfortable, they appear to be made of a thinner Neoprene style material with stitching on the "grab" area to create a nicely-formed, nice-feeling, handle. At first I thought there was a "stiffener" inserted in the handle area to give it more shape and "grippability," but apparently its just a good choice of materials and a well-executed design. You won't need any additional handle wrapper to be comfortable!

I have another zipper case with a handle but would never feel comfortable carrying it by the handle around town. The handle is too flimsy to be comfortable and I don't trust the security of the construction/stitching. This AmazonBasics case is completely different. I feel like I can have my normal day back and carry this one by hand for quick and easy access on a commuter train or bus.

* The zipper, which runs only across the top and down each side about 2", is robust-looking it isn't one of those "narrow gauge" flimsy looking zippers (technically, it is a "coil" not a "flat lock" design).

* As another reviewer mentioned, the zipper tabs are large enough to find and operate quickly and easily, and they are a "soft rubber" that feels good to the touch. One minor negative is the large "amazon basics" lettering on the zipper pull. Actually it is beginning to grow on me yeah baby, I am too cheap (and too smart?) for Belkin or Built! (And got a better designed product.)

* There is NO zipper or "single stitch seam" at the bottom of the bag. Look carefully at some other designs. Make sure that when you send the bag down there is actual padding on the bottom of the bag so the netbook won't "slam" down hard on the table top, floor, etc. Some bags are just Neoprene panels that are sewn together at the seams along the perimeter, and the stitching compresses the Neoprene at the perimeter so it can't do its cushioning job.

My netbook nestles between the "panel seams" (the bag has two flat side panels, then a perimeter panel to give it width, just like a "normal," larger bag) and rests on normal thickness Neoprene.

* Because the zipper isn't full length on the sides (you only need the zipper across the top, it is plenty wide, for getting the netbook in and out), there is less risk of failing to close the zipper completely and having the device slip out one end.

* The inside of this bag is ORANGE so you can easily make sure you haven't left something inside.

* There is a zippered side-slot on the exterior of the bag which may, in fact, be large enough for a Nook as another reviewer noted. There is ample room for a typical power brick with cord, although that would pretty much ruin the appearance of the bag for carrying, but would be helpful for transiting security (if you have to remove power bricks as well as small computers).

I checked this side-slot for use with both an external DVD player and with a couple of external hard drives. All fit with room to spare (well, not at the same time!).

My preferred use for this side slot is to carry memory sticks and an older (3rd gen) iPod Touch. The Touch "boots up" much more quickly than a netbook for quick email and Facebook monitoring.

Recommended modifications/usage adjustments:

I will put some orange duct tape on one handle so I can keep a better eye on this through airport security (although I try to put my computer bag under my shoes and jacket in the bin through security).

If I end up not liking the Amazon zipper pulls, it is a simple job to cut them off and replace with lanyard style zipper pulls from REI or other sources. But I think I will keep the stock zipper pulls.

I will probably find an extra microfiber cloth and roll it up length-wise and lay it down across the entire width of the bottom seam to add extra padding there. It's always handy to have a microfiber cloth around anyway, for wiping the screen on the netbook (not required often) or for wiping my iPod Touch screen (required more often).

I won't store the power brick in the side slot. I don't like the bulge, not for appearance reasons so much as because it creates a potential pressure point against the netbook side. I will store a DVD player or external hard drive if I decide to carry one (the DVD player is useful for playing DVD's purchased on a trip, the external hard drive is useful if I am taking a low-capacity netbook in which I have installed an SSD solid state drive instead of a conventional hard drive).

I probably won't carry this around like a mini-attache. But the handles are almost indispensable in getting a secure grip on the case when inserting the case and netbook into my daily carry pack or into a laptop slot in carryon luggage. The greatest risk of damage is when we pull the case out of our other bag or put it back in, and handles GREATLY reduce the risk of slipping and dropping during those moments.

During storage at home, I will separate the battery from the main unit so it doesn't discharge, and the side slot is a perfect place to put it (diagonally).

A WORD ON PRICING: Amazon's prices on EVERYTHING fluctuate like the commodities market. This nice piece is selling for 20% less than when I bought it just last week (10 vs 12). You need to compare prices to other netbook bags an other online and bricks and mortar dealers before you buy so you don't get irate later! (At 12 bucks it was a bargain at 10 it's a steal!)

This is the perfect iPad carrying case. I already use the official Apple iPad Case that folds over to protect the iPad from daily use, but now I will be able to carry it without worrying it will slip from my hands. I have been searching for a quality made carrying case with handles that would make it easier to carry my iPad from place to place. The AmazonBasics Netbook bag has been the answer. Unlike other iPad carrying cases I have been eyeballing, this Netbook bag is extremely affordable. The rubber grip zippers operate with ease and it is padded for added protection. I can even fit my iPad in it's case inside this bag without having to jam it in, there is plenty of extra room to spare. The side compartment is great to store my portable AC power adapter and digital camera. Great product.

Buy AmazonBasics Netbook Bag with Handle, Fits 7- to 10-Inch Netbooks, iPad, HP Touchpad (Black) Now

Since I bought my netbook, I've been on the hunt for the perfect small case to tote it in. Almost every case I've used has been lacking in some way, but the AmazonBasics Netbook Bag with Handle comes the closest to the perfect case for me of anything I've tried thus far.

Yes, I said it comes the closest, which implies there is something missing, so I'll start with that. It's a pretty minor thing, really, which is why I think the bag still deserves 5 stars. The only thing I would change is I would add a detachable shoulder strap. It's a small detail and one easily remedied by purchasing a universal shoulder strap to it. But if it already had that feature, it would be perfect in my eyes.

Let's move on to what I really appreciate about this case. First and formost, it fits my 10" Asus 1000HE very well while maintaining a small form factor that easily fits inside a larger case. The handles make it easy to pick up and run with when you want to leave the larger case behind and just tote the netbook with you.

On top of that, the zippered side pocket is roomy enough to hold the power adapter for my netbook without `squishing' it. Similar cases have had pockets that were too tight and worried me that they may damage the cable if I stuffed it in them. Not only can I fit the power adapter, but I also keep a Bluetooth mouse in that pocket.

The case has a small bit of padding all around, sufficiently protecting the device with just enough cushion.

If you've been looking for a small netbook bag that can double as a sleeve or an easy-to-tote case on the go, the AmazonBasics Netbook Bag with Handle is for you!

Read Best Reviews of AmazonBasics Netbook Bag with Handle, Fits 7- to 10-Inch Netbooks, iPad, HP Touchpad (Black) Here

This AmazonBasics Netbook Bag is just perfectly simple. No frills or thrills, it just does it's job and does it's job well.

It's ample size accommodates even the largest netbooks with ease without being too big or sloppy for the smaller 7 "and 8" netbooks.

The large and easy to grip zippers are a nice touch (I find far too many zippers too small for my large hands).

One side pouch allows for a little bit of storage of media or any sort of accessories you may have (or even a Kindle?).

The ultra soft neoprene rubber provides your netbook with plenty of cushioning and protection. No worries or need for any other "protection" on the netbook is needed.

And it's discreet appearance makes it suitable for a man or woman to carry it, so guys you wont look like you are carrying a purse around with you.

I am very happy with this case. You get exactly what you pay for, a quality case that will protect your netbook. Just love it.

Pros:

Cheap!

Very well constructed and made of quality materials.

Big zippers are easy to grip and use.

Love the bright Amazon.com orange color on the inside of the bag.

Cons:

Made in China...

  • Peanut Allergy Bag Tag for backpacks, lunch boxes, and more.
  • Size and weight of a credit card.

Love it!!! Both the plastic tag and clear loop to attach it are very durable. I like that it has a practical safety message in a non-stigmatizing way (actually the opposite of stigmatizing). There's a girl version too. Wish it were a little cheaper, then I would buy several to use on different bags, including my son's epi-pen bag, backpack, lunchbox etc. Kids with severe food allergies (and their parents!) really are super heroes, so it's very appropriate.

Military Inspired Canvas Crossbody Messenger Bag Laptop Bookbag Khaki Green

Military Inspired Canvas Crossbody Messenger Bag Laptop Bookbag Khaki GreenI like this bag. I do. I've used it on a daily basis to carry my laptop since I got it three weeks ago.

However be warned that the buckles on the strap appear frail, and they do not quite hold the strap correctly. The loop which attaches the strap to the bag rotates 90 degrees from its intended orientation and does not hold the strap flat. Also the length adjustment buckle on the strap slips over time.

My 16:10 aspect 15.4 inch laptop just barely fits in the padded compartment. I'm not sure a newer wider 16:9 aspect 15.4 inch laptop would fit. The padding is not very thick, but I'm comfortable with it.

A nice bag for the money. I'll see how long it lasts.

not fancy, just a great, sturdy bag. Heavy-duty fabric, roomy enough for a laptop and a bunch of file folders.

A bit heavy for a bookbag but it works well for the computer. Able to carry it and all peripherals in the same bag and that saves space when traveling.

I bought this bag with the intentions of using it for school.

When I first touched the bag the material seemed rather cheap and i also noticed a slight cut on one side of the strap, but i thought maybe it just needs to be broken in, so i used it for acouple days. Used it main to carry lunch to work, nothing to heavy.

After acouple of days i noticed the stitching on the main strap started to pull away from the bag.

I returned the bag and was offered a replacement but i declined.

Jeep Diaper Bags Jeep TREND SPORT Back pack Diaper Bag

Jeep Back Pack Diaper BagThis diaper backpack is pretty impressive given its price. It stands upright (I found sagging diaper bag annoying), has two very large bottle holders (big enough for adult drinks), a mommy's/daddy's pocket in the front with 2 mesh pockets, and spacious main compartment with one zippered pocket, 2 small open pockets, and one large open pocket. The grab handle on the top is very handy. The back straps are padded and has built-in stroller clips. I just wish it has an extra storage pocket on the outside and padding on the back. The back doesn't have additional padding. If the designer place a pouch on the back(either inside or outside of the bag) to place the change pad in, it would provide some cushion for the back. Or the designer should just add cushion like normal backpack would have on the back.

I like this bag a lot....we've had it and used it daily for 6-7 months I'd say and it is my favorite bag to use as a diaper bag. It's plenty room I keep an AH GOO Baby changing pad in it, diapers, full size costco wipes, toys, exra clothes, trash bags, etc all in jus the big compartment. The front compartment is big enough for hair stuff, medicine, boogie wipes etc. My wallet can fit in the front part with stuff in there too. A couple downfalls, I hate the way the straps are. It's just odd on your back very high up. And just tonight, my strap finally ripped off the top. The construction of the straps just doesn't seem right for how much you can actually fit in this bag. Be prepared to do a little sewing I think...

We bought this to replace our Skip Hop diaper bag which finally gave out after 2 years of solid use and it's not even close to being useful. Several of the zippers broke within a week, the compartments are so poorly stitched together, and it's much smaller than it appears. Do yourself a favor and just buy a normal backpack with a laptop compartment instead.

This bag is perfect for my needs. There are lots of places to organize our belongings, it's roomy without being obnoxious, the look is sleek and sporty, and it's cheap as can be (especially compared to diaper bag backpacks that cost $100+)! It also has adjustable clips that allow it to be attached to strollers, which is very convenient. So far it's in great shape and I have no complaints. Try it...you'll like it!

I bought this backpack for college and I love it. It holds all my binders and my laptop. People say the seams rip and that the bag is cheap but I disagree. I have had this backpack for a while now and it has not ripped on me at all. The seams are still in perfect condition and I have a lot of stuff in my backpack. Of course if you buy for a child it might rip and tear more easily but if you take care of it, it will stay in great condition. Great backpack for the cost.

Piel Top FLap Drawstring Backpack

Piel Leather Top Flap Drawstring Backpack - blackI have been using backpack purses for almost ten years, and this one is probably the best one I have had. My biggest problem with most backpack-purses is that they come two ways: too small, and too big. As a mom, I need more space in my purse than just a cute spot for a wallet, checkbook, cellphone, and keys. The larger versions of a purse-backpack so huge it could fit your laptop and two days worth of clothes. This bag is in the middle, and that's why this bag is so nice. It carries all the things the small pack does, and also my PDA, second checkbook, inhaler, pencils, receipts, small notebook, my son's wallet and Nintendo DS, and a number of other smallish things that always seem work their way into my purse.

The front zippered compartment is great for receipts, club cards and prescriptions (both filled and script). It is easily accessable from the outside by just lifting the flap on top of the bag. But what I really like is the side back zippered compartment. It is a great place for keys. I can even just reach back and grab my keys without having to take the whole pack off.

The inside compartments are well done, with a nice back zippered pouch for small things, and places for several pens, a cell phone, and a PDA (although if you have a small phone it may be a bit big). The leather was a nice quality substantial without being heavy, and interior material seems heavy enough that it won't be tearing easily.

I will be using this bag for a long time to come.

The red is actually a bit orange-red, I prefer a deeper red. I would have liked more inside pockets and some elastic straps to hold small bottles. The outside pockets are perfect and well hidden, and easy to organize travel documents. I found the overall size too small for a carry-on for jewelry, medication, camera, iPad, phone & accompanying cords and accessories, a shawl, etc. And it seems slightly too large for shopping in foreign ports, perhaps this is due to the stiffness of the leather. Delivery was exactly as promised.

Dakine Small Campus Pack

Dakine Campus Pack Laptop BackpackI was worried the 'small' one wouldn't be large enough when I bought it. Turns out, it is exactly the size I was looking for. It fits a 13" macbook and everything you need to carry around as a theoretical physicist in grad school without looking bulky. The base is not large enough to stay upright without support, so you will have to lean it against something, but I guess that's not unusual for a backpack.

Wellll,

I was looking for a small-ish backpack that would hold my 13" MBP. Because of the small selection of cool backpacks that meet this requirement in my country I opted to buy online (which was arduous) After searching I singled out Dakine as the my preferred brand of choice, and it turned out to be a great one.

Amazon were the only ones which would sell it to me internationally, good quick delivery etc etc

The bag is amazing, low profile, great amount of space, cushioned laptop sleeve. Not to many little unusable spaces; seems like they designed it specifically for me. Its strong, feels good when walking around (although with a laptop and lecture books it can be a bit heavy being denim and all). The straps are sturdy and mummy says that the stitchings all good on them (yay). I got the denim one cos I thought it looked the best but all of them were pretty snazzy, Dakine know how to make nice looking bags.

Two issues with it I stained the demin when i left one of my red biros without a lid in it, now the denims blood stained looking. oh well. Secondly, the laptop sleeve isnt really that well fitting for my small laptop so I put my laptop in one of those padded case thingies before i put it in, unfortunately the case has a zip that catchs on the bags interior material whenever i pull it out, hence some not so nice rips in my new bag. *sigh*

All in all its perfect for me and I can't see anyone have the same problems as I did. Its pretty awesome having a bag no one else at school has because they don't sell them here. Hopefully use it right through college and Uni. If not then id happy buy another one

Lukke.

The small version is a little too small for me and the pencil holders dont really work because they are too tight or shallow for nearly every writing utensil. Other then that is is a quality dakine product and the look is VERY cool.

I bought this backpack for my 6th grader. It's the perfect size and is very durable. The Rasta colors are subtle, which is perfect. I wanted to make sure not to buy the bright Rasta colors just in case he got tired of it (because I'm not buying another backpack until this one is worn out)! Keep in mind this is a smaller backpack. Great backpack. I had something like this in mind and it came to life with this product! Small and compact, which I like, yet holds a good amount of school books and slim laptop. Nice look and color. My only complaint really are the extremely long straps on arms which look out of place and excessive. Other than that amazing!

Mountain Khakis Mk Field Bag

Mountain Khakis Mk Field Bag, Dark Olive, One SizeThe Mountain Khakis Field Bag has an awesome look and feel. The leather accents are thick and very attractive. Nothing about the build quality of this bag is cheap. You can tell this thing will take a beating and last a very long time. Biggest disappointment for me is that they claim it will fit a 15" lap top. (Not if you have a MacBook Pro) It is definitely not suited for a 15" but certainly fits a 13" MacBook. The 15" sticks out the top and trying to zip the top is an exercise in aggravation, not to mention that you will likely destroy the side of your expensive MacBook with the Zipper pull and the inside pocket held on with snaps that will rub against the un-protected part of the lap top sticking out. Definitely would recommend if you have a small laptop or iPad. Not 15" friendly.

JanSport Elefunk Printed Messenger Bag

JanSport Elefunk Printed Messenger BagThis bag is simply amazing and incredibly spacious and worth the price. I tired to buy other messanger bags that I thought looked cool, but this one blew them out of hte water. The price is good, the material is ok (same quality and feel of a regular Jansport backpack), I can tell it isn't going to last me a long time but you do get what you pay for...I guess. Although the bag itself is 'large' in size it isn't too bulky. It has many pockets. The flap is very spacious you can probably fit an Ipad in there (but make sure it has a protective cover, because the material in the flap is not protecting enough). The outside zipper when you lift the flap is very spacious you can fit a lot. Then there are 2 more zippers one on each side (you can see it a little in the picture), these too are very spacious that you can fit water bottles or even flip flops. The main compartment is huge, I can put a large text book or two, my ipad, chargers for my electronics, binders, pen bags, large wallet, lunch, clothes etc..

The picture makes it look like its as small as one's back but it isn't...A little bigger (kinda like a large backpack). And the design of the bag is cute and feminine. Its the same texture throughout the entire bag.

Pros: Wanted a bag that could carry textbooks, iPad, cell and a sweatshirt or light jacket when needed. This bag is plenty big enough and pockets secure enough to take on the challenge. Jansport has always proven to be an extremely durable bag and I have no doubt this one will last as long as my other Jansport bags.

Cons: Wanted a color that was feminine but also blend in a competitive academic environment and be dark enough to hide the eventual dirt that comes with everyday use. Though the description clearly states "Navy Fade Away" as the color of the bag, I was disappointed to receive a bag that had very little "navy" coloring. The picture showed the majority of the bag as being darker blue but the one I received was VERY light blue over 90% of the bag. Not the best color for a lot of everyday use and travel. Will keep the bag because I trust the Jansport brand but will also be more careful when chosing a color from descriptions and pictures next time.

very lightweight. Midsized but roomy, good for everyday use. However, I could have used an extra zippered compartment in the back section, as it is its just a big opening to drop things into.

  • Disney Theme Park Authentic
  • Brand new with tags
  • From smoke free environment

This was a backpack that I did a reasonably extensive search for. It fits the requirements for laptop (iPad) pocket. Place to carry the cords & mouse out of the way. A drink pocket on the outside. An additional area for carrying papers or folders. Not too heavy or large. All of those things plus a little Disney whimsey to carry to work.

I am giving it 4 stars because it arrived stinking like someone had blown a pack of cigarette smoke into it. I have it in the garage trying to air out in single digit temps. If that doesn't work, I;ll probably try washing it with some Borax. Hopefully something will work because my other backpack is fading.

After a few months, I have been using this for over a month now and am very happy with it. It took about a week of "airing out" in the garage during the winter to pretty much reduce the smell to a normal level. Now it is completely gone, so it's all good at this point

Digital Camo Camouflage Military Army Style School Book Bag Classic Backpack Backpacks

Digital Camo Camouflage Military Army Style School Book Bag Classic Backpack BackpacksI actually got this for my 1st grader who loves army stuff for school this year. The material is sturdy and the bag has held up well so far which is pretty impressive since he tends to wear out the bottoms of all of his bookbags by dragging them on the ground. Plenty of space inside and would recommend this to anyone.

Nice bag for kids for school or good for a bug out bag a lot of room in side just not a heavy made bag

GroVia Wetbag - Vanilla

GroVia Wetbag - VanillaI use mostly AI2s and it holds about 2 days worth of diapers. I have the sunset color as well and the size is the same. The size is also useful in the diaper bag for soiled clothes.

I purchased this bag to be the diaper pal bag for my diaper pal. I read that it would hold 3 days of diapers. That sounded perfect. I wash our cloth diapers every 2-3 days. When I took the diaper bags out the box I was disappointed at the size. This bag would hold 2-3 prefold diapers. Not 2-3 days worth of diapers. I will be returning this product to buy a larger model.

LittleLife Animal Wheelie Duffle Bag

LittleLife Animal Wheelie Duffle Bag, TurtleI bought this cute carry-on last year for my daughter's 2 year old BD and she used it over and over; its a must for a traveling toddler! Its an efficient design, well built, just the right size and she loves carrying it around. The pattern is not too childish and she will be able to grow with it. At every airport we get great comments from strangers on this bag. A+
