Briggs & Riley Luggage Excursion Field Bag

fits iPad, accessories, office do-dads and 8.5 by 11 paper pad. Still some room left over. iPad gets carried in a sling system so that it will survive an accidental drop. Everything else is top Briggs Riley quality. Some wish items: 1) the bag bottom could have used a different material with a little more hard foam and rubber bottom. The front flap closure system could have been something other than clips that take two hands to open/close.

ZUCA Slider Backpack

After launching a career change into corporate training, I knew I'd be doing some travelling. In the last few years I've not been a world traveler but I'm doing more than I did before the new job. I wanted a bag that I could carry on, would hold a lot of stuff and be rugged. ZUCA is all that and more. I typically go out for 3-5 days. I can get two suits, two shirts, shoes, underwear/socks/2 ties, shaving kit and more in the carry on. The backpack is adorable. I bought it for my 6 year old who is crazy about Legos. It is a compact backpack, perfect for ages 6 or 7 and under. Any bigger of a kid and it would probably be too small for carrying school work/supplies/lunch. The little round zipper pockets make the look of the backpack. They are a tad too small for use, so they are mainly for ascetic. We use the side mesh pocket for a water bottle and notice that it is starting to rip after two months. Overall a good backpack for a little Lego enthusiast.

OH MY GOD. That's the only way I can describe this backpack! It's the sickest backpack ever! It carries laptops, it carries books, it carries the hopes and dreams of a nation struggling through an economic crisis and war. If I were to chose a word to describe the enormous quality of this backpack, it would be Googleplex. My teenage girlfriend used to be pregnant, then she put on this backpack, and her period came. No more baby. This backpack man, this backpack.

This backpack was absolutely perfect for me! The straps are comfortable, there are many little pockets to put things in, and its sooooo pretty in this color. The only negative about it is that you might not be able to fit everything in it that you want. the MOST I could fit was my laptop, a 3-ring binder (the 2inch ones), a textbook, the cords for my laptop, and a notebook. I'm a college student, & that was the perfect size for me... some students may not feel the same, though. Overall fantastic!

I ride my bike to the gym/work during the warmer months (Michigan weather... don't get me started) and I trust this to protect my work laptop. The pocket intended for laptop use is the part that rests against your back, which is nice because if you've got a laptop in there you don't have to worry about any uneven pressure points on your back.

The hardware is also very substantial. For instance, the main pocket's zipper is probably close to a half-inch thick and zips very smoothly. I get the sense there's no breaking that. Also it comes with velcro stoppers that roll up and keep in place the extra strap length, so as a biker I never have those nylon straps flapping in the wind.

Other reviews have said it was smaller than they had expected, but on its first use here's what I fit in it no problem:

A change of clothes, including a pair of shoes

A 15" Macbook Pro

A makeup bag fit in the front pocket -about the dimensions of an iPad but 4x as thick

Keys, wallet & cell phone

A full size hairspray bottle

A lean cuisine

And the bag was by no means bulking under the strain of containing these items. I think that the only thing you'd have trouble fitting in is more than maybe one or two huge books. A lot of the bag's space isn't width-wise, and my items were the kind that could be packed anywhere.

When I got it... it looked a little small but once I started packing my laptop, charger, books, tablet & supplies everything fit with a little more room left over than I expected!

It is sturdy & seems well stitched, a lot of padding on the shoulder straps for a comfortable wear.

all in all, for a bag that is not top of the line or name brand... it is one of the best I have bought and I am happy with it.

This is a good bag for a SMALL lunch. If you intend to have plastic container and a water bottle in the bag at the same time it won't fit.

This is the perfect size for kids taking snacks to preschool! The size in just right for a child that size to carry himself as the strap is too short for an adult. It even has a see-through name tag on the top where it isn't immediatly visible out in public.

I was not happy with this lunch bag at all. The minute I opened the box I could see that it was made from cheap quality materials. And it was way smaller than I was expecting it to be. I could have lived with it as long as it did the jobbut it didn't. I had the bag 6 days and the zipper broke! Medium sized backpack with a fairly large lunchbag. The lunchbag has a shoulder strap tucked inside. It feels well made with good material. The picture is clear. We haven't used it yet, so not sure how long it will hold up.

Thule Crossover 60 Liter Rolling Upright w/ Detachable Race Pack

If you know how to pack this bag will afford you some extra room to add a few more items in lieu of a carry-on. I would say it is the perfect intermediate bag for when you just have too much stuff for a carry-on, but not enough to pack a giant bag. It looks amazing and I have yet to come across another Thule bag in baggage claim (I have a couple). The larger wheels make moving around so much easier, and the zippers definitely have a nice smooth pull to them. To sum it up: I would call this bag an "in-betweener" as something for a slightly longer than carry-on trip, but not long enough for a 80+ liter bag. I bought it just before taking a 10 day trip and I would opt for a larger bag on a trip that long next time. Fortunately I was carrying a snowboard and had ample room in the board bag on that trip. Overall I am happy with this purchase, as I have been with all my Thule gear. Thule will be getting some more money from me when I purchase this bag's larger brother soon after I finish writing this review.

Very nice piece of luggage. I use the detachable backpack everyday for work. I am working temporarily in Johannesburg, and the luggage handled the flight brilliantly.

One complaint, the "lock" for the small crushproof area is a small piece of bungy cord which broke before I even made it to the airport. Otherwise, rock solid.

I really like this peice of luggage. It was somewhat smaller than I had hoped to get.. If your going on a 3-4 day trip it probably just the right size for most males. I usually work a few more days so, the larger one would have provided that added space that I needed.

The quality is excellent though. The wheels are a great feature for treking though small amounts of water puddles and snow in the winter. Overall, as a seasoned traveler I give it 4 stars!

Doesn't seem quite as rugged as claimed by Outside Magazine. Zippers are small, cheap and unprotecetd by the usual fabric flap. Wheels protrude in such a way that I just know the TSA and USAIR folks will not have to try hard to inflict crippling damage Fabric...nothing to write home about. Try RedOxx luggage....it blows Thule away!

Travelwell Iris Backpack Cooler Color: Black

It is a great bag. Holds in water from melted ice and did not leak. Drinks stays cool for few hours depending on if ice is used or not. Great shoulder padding so its comfortable for hours of walking such as in Disney. I believe it states it holds 24 cans but that would be hard fit. Held about 12 drinks. Overall great buy I plan to continue to use.

This is admittedly an inexpensive sleeve and the low quality leather shows that right away. What I found particularly annoying is that the magnetic clasp is weak. WIth my 13 inch Mac Book Pro the sleeve simply would not stay closed on its own and I thought of returning it.

Then the new generation of Airs came out and I bought the 13 inch Air which fits in this sleeve perfectly. Because the Air is so much thinner than the MBP the sleeve actually clasps closed and stays closed.

It's also somewhat rigid so I get an extra assurance of protection putting it into my already well padded bag.

For the twenty dollars I recommend it. Especially for Air owners. And I have to admit it works for the MPB. It just takes a few weeks of leaving it pressed closed to break it in. But I do suspect anything thicker than a 13 inch MBP, such as a Dell or even a polycarb MacBook, would not fit in this sleeve.

While I do understand the complaints that non-Air macbooks would fit poorly, I don't understand the complaints about it being cheap and made of fake leather. while the item's description calls it 'generic' leather, the details clearly state it's artificial leather. and besides, who would expect fine leather out of a fifteen dollar sleeve?

I quite like this little sleeve. It looks like a folio for random boring businessman papers. oh, here's that past-due invoice from acme boulder. oh and that stupid spreadsheet that old man bigglesworth has been after me to clean up.

who would expect it to contain a sleek little macbook air? i can walk the sidestreets of the san francisco financial district with impugnity, rather than having a neon blue backpack slung over my shoulder advertising that i'm a hipster with an expensive laptop on board.

for this reason alone, it's worth twice the price. give or take.

First and foremost, I want to say that Kabar is a great company. Their customer service is great, and they took care of me in the past. I greatly respect Kabar as a company; I just think they missed out on this product.

However, I am a little disappointed in this bag. Perhaps, it's my fault, as I just don't have enough imagination/insight to use it properly.

In the summer, wearing it in the front of your body just seems to be uncomfortable and draws too much attention.

Also, wearing it horizontally as a fanny pack seems to be awkward at best. The Courier Bag will not replace my 5.11 Tactical Push Pack as my EDC bag, which seems more functional.

Pros:

The build quality is excellent.

The nylon material is thick and incredibly tough.

This also goes for the zippers.

Neutral:

Ipod holder inside doesn't fit the Iphone 4. Should've used a bigger pocket to fit larger/more up-to-date MP3 players.

Has Molle attachments inside. Can fit a full-sized 1911.

Cons:

Bag is kinda small. Can't carry much in it.

Has only two compartments. Not a lot for organization.

The mesh pocket on the outside should've had a zipper to seal things.

For around the same price, I think there are better options available. (i.e. Maxpedition, 5.11 Tactical).

I bought this bag because I was looking for a small bag to take on short day/overnight trips to see my friends in a nearby city. The build quality and materials are great, it can be worn multiple ways, with other back packs and under a rain coat if need be. The problem is it is just too small to be use full. It will fit a SMALL book, ear buds, some snacks, bus/subway tickets, and may be a pair of sunglasses but that's it. I can't fit a full size sheet of paper of magazine unless you fold them in half, don't plan on sticking a set of overnight clothes in it, the "phone pocket" it too small for an Iphone or blackberry.

I gave it three stares because it is well made and serves its purpose once in awhile but as I said before it's just to dam small. Seriously if it was two inches bigger in all directions it would be a great bag, and that's the worst part everything you want to put in it is just a little to big.

Cosmos Black Neoprene/Cotton 17" 17.3" inch Laptop notebook computer case/bag/sleeve for Dell HP Ac

I bought this a month ago for my Dell Vostro 17.3" laptop [16½ x 11¼ x 1.1]. This is more a sleeve and not a case/bag (as the description says) so there are no handles or hooks attached. It fits perfectly and the flap closes over a velcro strip. I like that it doesn't have any metal parts like a zipper to prevent scratching. It does not claim to be waterproof (especially without a zipper). The neoprene is soft and not rubbery/plasticky feeling. If you read reviews for other sleeves they mention a plasticky or industrial smell (due to the manufacturing process?) which I did not find for this sleeve. I use this only to store my laptop when not in use to keep out the dust. You can carry this under your arm (again, no handles) or better yet, put it in a messenger bag or suitcase if you want to transport it elsewhere. I don't plan on using this outdoor so this sleeve serves my needs.

This neoprene sleeve fits my Dell Precision M6600 perfectly! It is well made (the interior seems are taped) and includes a velcro cable tie. More importantly you can't beat the price!

For the true purpose of the the sleeve its just right. I've not had it long enough to attest to its durability, but it feels like it should last a good long time. I'm mostly pleased with the secondary purpose I came across. I use my laptop in my easy chair, bed, couch, or any other comfy spot. I've always had issues with a using a mouse (I don't like touch pads) I've tried different materials for improvised mouse pads none picked up my laser mouse well. I was set to order a new pad to mount to a stiff surface (and also be one more thing I need to carry around) Then I put my mouse on this bag! Its perfect! Stick a piece of stiff cardboard in the sleeve and viola! mouse pad and laptop protection all in one!

The design of this sleeve is perfect (except for the size). The Velcro enclosure is well made and holds tight. The outside of the case is a semi-rough fabric and the density of the material is kind of light. Meaning that this sleeve does not have any ability to protect from any drop damage. This "sleeve" is described to fit a 17.3" laptop and it is way too big for that size. I have a brand new Pavilion dv7 laptop with a 17.3" display and there was at least 4 inches of space on the sides of this sleeve. The sleeve left enough room inside that I was afraid the lid would be able to open if jostled around enough, leaving a greater chance for damage to the screen and hinges.

This back pack matches my Vivienne check in luggage that I bought in Maui last year, love this pattern and colors.

I bought this backpack for my sister. She picked it out herself, obviously not thinking of the $50 price tag. When the product arrived, she was happy with it, stating it was just what she wanted. I, on the other hand, was not as impressed with it. It has no distinguishable features that would make it cost $20 to $30 more than your average backpack. In this respect I was very disappointed in the product. However, my sister enjoys it and so far it has held up remarkably well. I probably wouldn't buy this again unless it was about 40% off.

this is a nice backpack, the colors are the same as the pictures. it is smaller than i thought but it stretches quite wide. I posted some pictures of the inside also. If you use a 3 ring binder or a large zipper binder, they dont fit very well in the backpack. The instalated compartment works good. Once I put a yogurt in the instalated compatment and took it out 6 hours later, and it was still cold. The soft pocket is really soft and smooth like it the pictures. The wetsuit zipper says wetsuit on it. The wetsuit compartment works good for work out clothing, and wet clothing to. The shoulder straps are also really squashy. This over all is a pretty good backpack.
