This is the perfect size for my two year old son. The quality is much better than I was expecting . There is one large main zipper portion and then the smaller one shown on the front. It rolls nicely and there is velcro on the back to keep the straps from dragging while it is being rolled. We are going to use this as his carry on for a long plane ride. It is the perfect size for him. I would recommend a larger size for an older child. This is a preschool sized pack.

My grandson loved it. He is so looking forward going to school. Also very useful for sleep over to grandma's. he gathers his stuff himself
