This pack is huge its around 4500 Cubic inches, its comfortable to wear even when its full and weighs close to 70 pounds. I would not try and just pull the straps when tightening them because i broke 3 of the clasps in the first week i had it. i was not able to get my sleeping bag in the bedroll pouch on the bottom cause it did not zip open enough. aside from that its a pretty decent pack it replaced my old large alice pack as my bug out bag. the inside is lined with a neoprene like substance so its water resistant but not proof. i would buy another one because they are so cheap just dont be mad if you break the plastic clasps or tear the nylon cover in the top pouch. go buy one or two for 30 bucks why the heck not.
