This bag is sure handy when walking to and from the lodge with all my ski gear. I purchased the original SideKick Pro,, some reviewers mentioned that the boots flop around with the newer version 2. However, this original version certainly does not have that problem.I wish it had just a bit more space in the backpack. I tend to carry some spare gear in case I get wet, and that fills up the bag. With boots on the side, and the helmet, gloves, and goggles in the back pocket, I can easily carry spare gloves, liners, socks, and a set of base layer stuff. That fits fine, but I also stuff in some sweats and hoodie to wear when i am done skiing.
Overall, I like the bag, and since I have purchased the Ski Strap Carrier.....
