We got this delivered today while my Kindergartner daughter was at school. When she got home and saw it, she was so extremely thrilled! It's a full size backpack, not one of those preschool ones, which was what I was most worried about in ordering it as it didn't list the size on the product details. It has a side pocket on each side that holds her water bottle perfectly, although the strap over the top doesn't close with the bottle. That was to be expected, though. The skirt strap is detachable from the backpack for when we send her off to school, but the 'sleeves' on the straps are permanent. If your little girl loves princesses and dressing up, this would be an excellent backpack for her!
