As I said, its small in its ability to carry much, but you probably don't want a ton of weight on your back when riding for comforts-sake. Its extremely-well thought out in design, from the water-tight zipper-seals to the interior labeling of compartments and padded areas for fragile electronics. Would I do my grocery shopping with it? Absolutely not. Would I run a few small errands around town or pack a few toiletries and a change of underwear/undershirt for a night away? Yeah, it could do that.
Does the Alpinestars name inflate the price above its value? I think so, but that logo does add some cred to the drivers behind you and the construction is of good quality in most respects. I paid a little more than I should have, but if you are looking for a riding backpack and are checking out this item, I don't think you will regret the purchase, just temper your expectations with the reality of what you are buying.
