Gura Gear Bataflae 26L Backpack, Black

Gura Gear Bataflae 26L Backpack, BlackI sold my Gura Gear Kiboko 30L bag as I downsized the amount of equipment I carry. I loved the Kiboko 30L and still do for its quality materials and smooth zippers. I bought a Batafle 26L and received it the other day and had to return it. The zippers were quite hard to open and close and not smooth at all. The material felt cheaper than the durable sail cloth material of the Kiboko. The inside zippers were nice and smooth but I just couldn't get the outside zippers to zip smoothly. On one side where the handle is, the zipper wasn't sown straight. For the price, I expect something stellar. Was a disappointment.

Excelent clever design, plenty of space, you can carry big lenses installed in your camera plus 3-4 more lenses, and still have space for batterys, filters, flashes, etc, easy access to the gear, the materiales are first class, I highly recomend it.

I have the original Gura Gear 30 and a Kata 3n1 25. They are both great bags and I'm not about to get rid of either however, for this trip, seven days with no plans to capture eagles or insects, it holds what I consider my basic kit. Canon 1D Mk4, 70-200/2.8, 24-105, 16-35, 1.4X, G11, cleaning supplies, xtra batteries and chargers, rain covers for the camera/lens combo, a small first aid kit, set of small screwdrivers and a Manfrotto tripod/kirk ballhead strapped to the outside.

Ample space remaining for my Goal Zero power supply, inverter and collector if I had wanted to bring them along.

Really like the change allowing the top to fully open.

This is a very well made camera backpack. It is able to hold all my lenses (100-400mm, 75-200mm, 24-70mm, 135mm, 55mm, 16-35mm, and 1.4x converter), a pro dslr camera and bu camera, flash, filters, and bunch of other stuff! It's pricey but worth it.
