Revised...12/2012...I have now had the luggage for over two months and used the luggage for a trip to Europe(amazing!)and also on a few weekend getaways. The luggage really held up considering the travel it went through getting to Europe and back to the states. The smell of fuel went away within a week. Not sure if it was from the packaging or shipping process. Overall love the luggage, very good quality, good price, and love the color titanium. Another feature that this luggage has is the expandable sides, which came in handy when bringing back items purchased on our trip. I would definately recommend this product to others.

Ordered for a trip to Disney World. Was impressed with capacity and weight. Packed an entire family of four within the larger two bags (and still had weight to spare). Despite obvious extremely rough handling product held up extremely well. None of the souvenirs were damaged. There were gouges on the luggage were the airline was negligent. One of the rubberized feet was torn off by airline handling.I give AirTran airline 1 star and this product 5.

This luggage set looks good but that's where the appeal ends. I have owned this product about two months and used it twice. It's now ready for the trash as the shell has already broken from cracks and punctures due to airport handling and cold temperatures. The shell materials appears carbon fiber like but is actually a thin fiberglass material that is made brittle buy the cold of jet cargo holds where it easily shatters. Although the price is appealing, Don't wast your money. Spend a little extra and get something much more durable like ABS.Want Travelers Choice New Luxembourg 4 Piece Hard-Shell Luggage Collection Discount?
The whole set survived it's first trip from NY to FL and back. On the way back two of them lost their pretty little shields due to the handlers, aside from that we're happy with how they held up against the travel, freezing cold, and handlers.
