My son is 2 1/2 and he won't take the rescue pack off. Literally. He loves this thing so much I have to wait until he's asleep to take it off and wash it. Make sure you get the "plush" one, that's what we got. It looked like there was also a more generic looking one, so make sure it says "plush" on the description. Definitely well worth the $$$$.
SO this is obviously fake. The rescue pack from Diego is a messenger style pack with on strap. This looks like a mix up or cross between Dora the Explorers' Backback and Diego's Rescue pack. Backpack's form and facial parts on a Diego colored orange bag. That being said, my kid liked it, we used some velcro stripes to combine the two straps into one to make it look like a messenger style bag. I would say this is probably illegal, but i'm not sure id rather buy form a company like Nickelodeon who doesnt really care about children either. In conclusion, If you don;t mind "Grey Market" materials and your kid's not too picky this is an inexpensive option for you to consider.
