The concept is great and I used them on 1 trip, but after opening and closing twice during the trip, the seams came apart so the compression aspect was lost.

bags are a good size and weight to store small woolen blankets. clips to seal bags fall off the end. i have these same bags from packmate manufactured in japan i obtained many years ago and they close easily and the clip stay in place. seems like overall quality has decreased and fails to meet previous standards.

Altho I tried using just regular large zip locks, Pack Mates worked extremely well and much better than just zip locks! Easy to use! Would order again if needed. They were recommended by oter corvette owners who learn to pack in small spaces.
