Sumdex DSLR Camera/Notebook Backpack

DSLR Camera / Notebook BackpackAfter days of searching for the perfect bag to carry my camera equipment and computer in while being comfortable as possible and still retaining carry-on abilities while flying, I settled on this one. Actually, I had purchased a Lowepro 180AW, but it was nowhere near large enough. I also wanted something that didn't have a waste or chest strap since I am not exactly a tiny woman. I'm about a US size 18.

As I unloaded this backpack, I was impressed with it's overall quality, appearance, and size. I unzipped and rezipped all the pockets to check out the zippers. I played around with it a little, then decided it was time to see what it could hold.

I started by loading my Canon 7D body with 18-135mm lens and hood attached. So far so good. Then I added my other two lenses, a basic Canon 75-300mm lens and a Tokina very wide angle lens with reversed hood. The Canon lens fit fine after adjusting the velcro separators. The Tokina had to be squeezed in there, which makes me nervous. I proceeded anyhow with my camera chargers, lens filters, and 430 flash. The flash had to be bend at a 90 degree angle to fit or that bag would not have closed at this point. I also squeezed in a point and shoot in it's case. I ended up having to put the wires and all in the upper compartment, but other than my lens cleaning kit, they all fit behind the mesh wall in there. Lastly, I loaded my 13" Macbook into the laptop slot, zipped it all up, and put it on my back.

This backpack has ample room for strap adjusting. So, I am very pleased that it is made for people of all sizes, and in fact, I didn't even need the straps halfway down, so it had a lot of room to grow. While the computer was inside, this back was not exactly comfortable. It also had a tendency to want to sit on my butt. I don't have a "shelf" booty, but it would probably be a terrible idea to use this bag if you have one. I took my Macbook out, and tried it on again. Much better! It felt comfortable enough for what I need it for. If you are an avid hiker, you may prefer a bag with at least a chest strap, and possible a waste strap as well. Also, there is no place for my tripod, so I will have to tote that around in it's own bag, which is a bit disappointing. If your computer is larger than my 13" Macbook, you may have a hard time fitting it in this bag too, so keep that in mind.

Overall, the bag has a nice appearance and will serve it's purpose. I feared a larger bag would have not made the carry-on requirements, but I kind of wish I would have purchased one anyhow. I will be keeping this bag though since it is here already and was reasonably priced.

I want a good compact camera backpack to carry my equipment and a 12.1" huge Lenovo X201 Tablet. This backpack is definitely perfect for my needs!! Originally I have a similar shape Lowepro Fastpack 250, but it is really bulky for me and I seldom want to take it out. I found this backpack which is lighter and smaller, so I want to give it a try. I'm totally right!! This backpack is smaller in size but possesses similar or even bigger capacity than the Lowepro Fastpack 250. I can input my Nikon D5000 with Nikon 12-24 lens mounted, two prime lens, a sigma 50-200 lens and a SB-600 flashlight easily in the camera compartment. I still can input plenty of personal stuff in the upper compartment. For the laptop space, it can fit my X201 Table mounted with a 8 cell huge battery. I found that the Lenovo X201 Tablet with a 8 cell thick battery is normally too big for many camera backpack declared to fit 13" or even 14" laptop because it is way too wide. In addition, the shoulder straps are thick padded and very comfortable when loaded on my shoulder. This backpack perfectly fulfills my needs, and I really think it's a very competitive product comparing to other name brand laptop/camera backpacks.

I used this camera about 12 times with no problem. On the lucky 13th use, the zipper fell apart, and my camera actually fell out. This is about the worst thing that can possibly happen to a camera bag. The clips nearly saved the camera, but in the end, I watched a thousand-dollar camera fall completely out of a zipped bag.

My little micro-four-thirds camera is not a particularly heavy or large camera. There is no reason why this bag should experience such a complete failure. If I could give this product negative stars, I would. This thing cost me a lot of money.

If it had an easy method for attaching a monopod to its exterior it would be perfect. As most people probably will, I purchased this so that I would not have to check either my laptop or my camera while flying for a vacation and I was pleased to find how much extra space I had in the bag. It easily held everything I cared about being "lost" by the TSA with very little shoving.

There is an excellent loop on the left shoulder strap placed well for a radio and this bag has served me well for short hikes away from camp.

Obligatory pocket-dump style account of what it manged to hold for me: Laptop, Laptop charger, WD Passport drive, Nikon D500 with two kit lenses, flash, extra camera battery, charger, a handful of memory cards, an assortment of other camera accessories, iCom IC-91AD, a water bottle, a decent sized paper back book, and a wind breaker. With my PS:Vita clipped to the handy plastic loop at the end of the right shoulder strap, this holds everything I need to be entertained on long flights.

I bought this instead of the 89 $ Lowepro hatchback. This was under $50 and I was not sure the hatchback was big enough for my rebel t4i WITH the attached battery grip. I wanted my 18-200mm lens to always be attached to the cameraas well. I also have a 75-400mm lense and a 40mm.....plus a small external flash. All fit in the lower

camera compartment but my huge telephoto had to go in the top compartment. I like the zipper with clasps because it seems to have an added security feaature if u are in a crowded tourist spot with the bag on your back.

I also love the tablet compartment, it seems very well padded. Also great for carrying on an airplane.

I was not impressed at first sight and admit I am a little stuck on name brands....but so far I think I made a good transition from my old lowe pro trekker II. Which has held up but was very short and compact and would not hold the tablet, this new pack feels better on my back as it is a little longer and fits my torso.

Ogio TP-14 17" Laptop Backpack

Ogio TP-14 17' Laptop BackpackVery strong bag and materials. Amazon had the best price. This backpack retails over 100 dollars at retail stores. My PC is protected very well in this backpack. Compartments are very well located and the right sizes for my needs

This backpack is the best choice you can make in the product field. I was researching many backpacks, trying to decide which one I wanted to buy---and not wanting to make a mistaken selection. 14 inch Forest Green Aloha Hawaiian Flowers Notebook Laptop Molded Frame Hard Case Carrying Bag w/H

14 inch Forest Green Aloha Hawaiian Flowers Notebook Laptop Molded Frame Hard Case Carrying Bag w/Handle for Macbook Acer ASUS Dell HP Lenovo Sony ToshibaWe got this to fit my daughters new HP 14 inch laptop. It fits perfectly, and you can just fit the power cord into the inner mesh pocket. We all like that it is a kind of a hybrid. It is as small as a soft side but it really is hard enough to protect the laptop from sharp objects within her larger backpack. Probably not bullet proof but she's a careful kid. Excellent price and pretty too!

High Sierra A.T. Ultimate Access Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps Blue Yonder/Tungsten/Black

High Sierra A.T. Gear Ultimate Access 30' Wheeled Duffle with Backpack Straps in Blue Yonder/Tungsten/BlackMy boyfriend was traveling to Greece this summer and needed a bag. I searched high and low for one with all the features I was looking for... Wheels, backpack straps, and a handle. This bag was the one with everything and it was the most economically priced. He loved it and I'm really glad I ot it! It arrived when the seller said it would and was in excellent condition.

I spent a significant amount of time researching bags that would be suitable for 1 week trips or thereabouts and this bag was the winner. It holds about 67 litres which is a reasonable size for a bag with these dimensions. According to High Sierra the bag weighs about 3.5 kilograms but I am not sure if this is correct as it's actually pretty light and I consider that it competes with the Antler travel bags as this is what I was initially considering. It has two large end pockets plus a front small to medium size pocket. The end pockets could be used for storing shoes as they are quite large.

The front pocket is ideal for smaller things that aren't breakable. The zippers and zips are of excellent workmanship and are some of the strongest I have seen and consider they will last for a long time with proper care. The actual zippers are made from some type of strong metal that is designed with hard wear and tear in mind and I really liked this as when you inspect the bag you can tell there has been high attention to detail. All the zippers can be locked and being so strong and well-designed I consider they would deter most would be thieves if locked securely with proper travel locks.

The material is very light weight yet durable and the colour looks really good. The material will cope with all types of weather conditions and could be easily cleaned if needed. The main compartment is made with durable material that should last a while if cared for correctly. The wheels are strong and the back straps are well designed and I think it would be easy to carry a heavy load. The telescopic handle feels solid and I don't see them breaking though in comparison to Paklite bags the telescopic handle isn't as solid and I think High Sierra could do have done better but this isn't a major issue.

The duffle carry straps are made from sturdy velcro material and grip well/easily together and I think the velcro should wear well. Overall I chose this bag because it is quality and that is simply put. When you compare this bag to an Antler duffle bag you may think it doesn't compete but it does for sure. This bag comes with a 5 year warranty and the Antler includes a 5 or 10 year warranty but to buy an Antler would cost about $130.00 or more Australian dollars so I think they compare well.

I also compared this bag to a Paklite wheeled duffle (origin and adventure) that included about 70 litres of space but that bag had pieces of material/webbing on the outside I think would get easily damaged in flight and the frame was also narrower. I consider if you travelled with the High Sierra AT2500 26" Wheeled Duffle with Backstraps you wouldn't have any problems.

I got this bag because I was traveling a lot with the whole Wounded Warrior thing, and do not get around like I used to. This has provided me with a bag large enough to hold all my clothes and other items that I was living with while hospitalized. When I traveled in the airport, this allowed me to easily roll along for great distance with my limited mobility. I have had the bag for four months, and would like to say, "it does everything it is supposed to and does it very well." If you need a durable, versatile, and well made duffle bag then this is a good choice.

Case Logic NOXB-114 Corvus 14 to 15-Inch Laptop Backpack (Black)

Case Logic NOXB-114 Corvus 14 to 15-Inch Laptop BackpackIn my opinion this is the best macbook + ios devices + peripherials + sunglasses + umbrella backpack on the market today. I am an iOS application developer and I have to lug this stuff (and basically not a whole lot else) back and forth from my house every day and I must have tried 50 backpacks before settling on this one. I was looking for the smallest, at least vaguely professional-looking bag that would carry all my tiny heavy items that has enough padding that I'm not worried about setting the thing down on a hard surface. This one fits the bill nicely. Some observations:

The material used for the center part of the top flap is a little cheap feeling (would have preferred the ballistic nylon stuff the rest of the backpack is made from, or leather or something) and the actual straps are of below average quality, but functional.

The velcro strap used to attach it to my carry-on luggage is very convenient, and the zipper-expansion feature allows me to use this instead of a larger laptop bag on planes where I have more than the usual number of things to carry.

I have never written a product review before in my life, but I spent a month looking for one of these things and maybe I can save someone else some time.

The Corvus 114 is an attractive and sleek backpack for techies. It is designed for some of today's hottest electronic items, specifically the Apple MacBook Pro, the iPad, iPhone and Amazon Kindle products. The outer material is made of durable, weather resistant black nylon with stretchable accents on the bottom and sides. The shoulder straps loop through a reinforced plastic casing which ensures durability for extended use and heavy loads. There is also a Velcro strap laying flat on the back which allows you to attach the pack to a roller-board/carry-on luggage. The back is also padded for comfort and additional protection for inside electronic items. Other notable exterior features include: an extendable outer shell for larger loads (via a zipper which runs around the perimeter of the pack) and a Velcro clip which allows you to cinch the extraneous strap fabric which typically dangles at the bottom of the shoulder straps.

The interior features make this backpack really stand out for technology users. First, there is an inside slip pouch which fits a 13" or 15" MacBook Pro perfectly (the standard MacBook, MacBook Air, or any 13-14" widescreen laptop will fit as well). Behind this there is a separate pouch which is designed to hold the Apple iPad (or iPad 2, or Amazon Kindle version 1, 2 or 3). It is important to note that if you keep your iPad permanently stored in any kind of bulky casing, this pouch will be too snug to fit the iPad + case. However, the inside of the pouch is lined in an extremely soft microfiber which will keep your iPad screen perfectly safe from scratches and debris. The main interior pouch will easily store a journal, notebook, textbook or your iPad in its case. This portion is extendable by opening the exterior zipper. There are a few small, deep mesh pouches which are intended for your power adapters/cables for your various devices. Finally, there are two pouches which can be accessed without opening the top cover of the backpack which can store your phone, iPod, wallet, pens, keys, lunch or whatever else. There are two pouches which wrap around the sides of the pack which can be used for storing a bottled water or additional cords.

Overall, this is a very well designed and attractively built technology backpack. It would be an outstanding choice for frequent subway, bus or airplane commuters and/or individuals who find themselves taking their entire entourage of electronic devices out on a regular basis. Unlike standard backpacks, the compartments in this pack are designed specifically for your iPad/Kindle/MacBook therefore they fit like a glove and don't "float around" loosely inside your backpack. Furthermore, the interior is detailed with high quality materials and soft microfiber to keep your electronics clean and safe from damage.

For the price, I would consider this a worthy investment and a quality built product. Case Logic has done well to develop a pack which caters to high-end electronics users. I will be using this stylish backpack to transport my iPad + MacBook + iPhone + Kindle to work every single day. Very pleased with the product, highly recommended! A+

Buy Case Logic NOXB-114 Corvus 14 to 15-Inch Laptop Backpack (Black) Now

Finally a stylish backpack made to safely protect your laptop, iPad, iPod, cell phone and various other electronic devices. The padded shoulder straps add extra comfort when carrying around a full load. Don't feel like carrying it? A velcro belt allows this backpack to be attached securely to your roll on luggage. This is a backpack that has a place for everything to be stored to give optimal protection to your electronic devices. I love the padded, "velvet"-lined pocket for my iPad to keep the screen safe from scratches. The only downside to it was having to remove my Otterbox case to get the iPad to fit properly in it's pocket. With the iPod, iPhone, netbook, laptop, and iPad/tablet all safely tucked away in their various compartments, I still had room (and pockets) to spare for my books, writing utensils, flash drive, wires & accessories, CDs, etc. without making the backpack feel over crowded. The light teal inner lining adds sophistication to this perfect little backpack. It is not bulky when filled and is very comfortable to wear. I took numerous pictures and some video to show the inside of the backpack which I hope to upload later. If you have the chance to view this backpack in a store, I highly suggest it! You will not be disappointed in it's versatility. There is one small mesh pocket in the flap of the backpack I used it for wires. The small velvet-lined pocket is perfect for your iPad or tablet. Two padded pockets leave space for your netbook and a larger laptop. (My thicker macbook almost proved to be a little too large for the backpack with everything else in it. A thinner laptop 15" and under would have no problem fitting.) The deep center pocket (perfect for a binder, textbook and/or portfolio) has two mesh smaller pockets that I used for some CDs. (Note: the center pocket can be made larger with a zipper located on the outside of the backpackthat gives 1" more storage on the inside). The center pocket also has a zippered compartment that I used for a paperback novel and a calculator. Outside the backpack, your wallet, cell phone and iPod will be safely protected in a zippered pocket with two writing utensil holders to keep your pens and/or pencils in handy reach. Another stretchy pocket lies outside of the zippered pocket. Finally, there are two side pockets that I used to hold a small water bottle in one and a granola bar in the other.

All in all, I was really pleased with this laptop backpack and quickly replaced my numerous other carry cases with it. I would have loved this in college!

The Case Logic Corvus Backpack has multiple compartments specifically intended to hold a 15" notebook computer plus a tablet or e-reader (or all three) plus cell phones and other small electronics. There are a lot of pockets including three zipper pouches--one inside, one inside the flap and one on the outside under the flap.

The overall design is attractive with touches of stretchy fabric and padded shoulder straps and back panel. There is a wide horizontal strap on the back to hook it to the handle of a rolling suitcase plus a grab strap at the top. It is lightweight and comfortable to carry as a backpack but much less so when carried in other ways and it is not comfortable when overloaded.

It has an expansion zipper on three sides that adds about 2 inches. I am not generally fond of expansion zippers on bags as they seem wish-washy but it is handled as well as possible.

The detailing is quite nice such as the zipper pulls and the little zipper garage for the expansion zipper pull. The lining fabric is an interesting color that I would call mint green although there is a plush black fabric where needed to prevent scratches.

Other than the expansion zipper, my only complaint about this backpack is that the edges of the main compartment are not very well padded. The edges of a notebook computer are more easily damaged than the top and bottom of the case and with greater consequences, such as hinge, port, or switch damage.

Case Logic is obviously aware of this problem because a removable length of foam triangular in section and covered with the mint lining material is included at the bottom of the notebook compartment. It is inadequate, inconvenient, and should be replaced by built-in padding. Since this is a backpack designed for electronics, I have to knock off two stars for this basic functional issue which the manufacturer did not properly address.

Want Case Logic NOXB-114 Corvus 14 to 15-Inch Laptop Backpack (Black) Discount?

This is a nice quality laptop backpack.

What I like about it:

-It's nicely padded

-The interior is light green (instead of black) which makes it easier to see the contents of the bag.

-Many compartments and zippered pockets.

-There's a velcro security strap on the back that you can use to attach the backpack to the handle of a rolling suitcase. (I really like this feature)

-It's expandable. You can add ~3.5 inches to the width of the bag when you unzip it.

Tinkerbell "Little Blossom" Large 15" School Backpack

Tinkerbell 'Little Blossom' Large 15' School BackpackBought this for my grand-daughter to carry her stuff to Kindergarten in.

After 6 months of tough use, the bag is still in great shape and shows no signs of abnormal wear.

It does NOT have rollers, but it has lots of internal storage space. Now that school is out, I'm sure she will be using it to lug around stuffed animals and art projects!

The backpack is better than expected. I thought it would be cheaper looking and feeling for the price but I guess I don't know what things cost. The materials seem to be of high quality and the Tinkerbell imagery is also very nice. Rich colors and sparkels. What more could my 4 year old daughter want! It's also big compared to her but she's little.

UPDATE:it has been over a year now and the backpack is holding up quite well. I still recommend it.

Targus Ascend Backpack for Laptops up to 16-Inch TSB710US(Black)

Targus Ascend Backpack for Laptops up to 16-Inch TSB710US(Black)Needed to replace my old day-pack, and did quite a bit of shopping for a new one. Price was good, positive reviews, so I sprung for it. Glad I did... appears very well made, very good utility with padded laptop pocket and plenty of space with multiple pockets. Very pleased so far.

I grabbed this backpack as a temporary replacement while my Ful Powerbag is being serviced under warranty. I'm quite pleased with it for the money. The straps are comfortable, even when loaded down. The main pockets are spacious. I would have liked more in the way of organizing pockets for pens, gadgets, etc, but it's again adequate for the price. I do find the vertical zipping pocket on the back of the bag to be kind of a mystery. I don't know what it's for or how to use it effectively.

My only real complaint is that with the fewer number of organizing pockets in this bag, a lot of my pens and stuff sort of accumulate at the bottom. Something to keep in mind if you carry a lot of pens, ipods, jump drives, and other small stuff.

If you like making statements, this bag is a great canvas. The outside of the bag is relatively flat and solid black. It displays my button collection nicely, and would make a good display area for patches, embroidery, or other modding.

Best bag ever. I loaded it up with about 80 lbs. of clothing because I am at a remote base it did not fail through all the rigors of going from the states all the way deep into Afghanistan. The detachable bags on each side were helpful when I needed a bag when I stayed overnight.

First of all, this is a great bag. It could be used for so many functions. I am a nurse practitioner and have to bring a lot of books, materials and equipment to work. This is a great bag for that -big pocket dividers and nice strap. Doesn't hurt or dig into my shoulder. I filled it up all the way.

The only thing I would ask is to make one bigger! But for now, it works!

Mammut - MTR 201 Backpack

Mammut - MTR 201 Backpack - 7 - Black / IronThen next best trail running pack with this many features is almost $100 more (Salomon S-Lab) and the MTR has more volume! Fully loaded there was definitely some noticeable bounce but I had my overnight kit stuffed in there. A full GoLite Shangri-la 3 tent, sleeping pad, a bit of food, water filter (sawyer squeeze) etc. trekking poles lashed to the side right and a 20 oz water bottle in the side left side pocket. So, yeah I expected some bounce. The pack itself is feather weight. The material is translucent and probably not very durable. Having it filled to capacity I could the seams being stressed. Overall very high quality craftsmanship though.

Fit was acceptable but could be dialed in better with sizing variation (s,m,l),this probably keeps the cost down. Right now it is a one size fits all pack. I'm on the smaller side (64in/135lbs) and I tightened the shoulder tension completely. The chest strap provided good tension but the design would benefit from the second sternum strap that comes equipped on the 7 liter smaller version. The hip belt actually sits above the navel and is not padded. It did help stabilize the load but I think the 2nd sternum strap would have improved the pack fit and bounce more.

The shoulder straps have multiple pockets. There is a bottle holder on the right, though what size bottle it was made for I have no idea. It cannot fit the typical 20 oz bottles without serious effort. I would be afraid of ripping the material. The left side has a built in whistle and a mesh pocket that is perfect for a cell phone. There is a volume expansion zipper on the main body of the pack, a feature that you see on many suitcases, that allows you to cram those high volume items in (rain fly/tarp)without stressing the light weight material too much. Also on the back side of the pack behind the super plush padded mesh back panel (best back panel ever!)is where the hydration sleeve is. The sleeve will easily fit a 3 liter hydration bladder and there is a clever way to route the tube under the shoulder fabric and a nice Velcro piece on the shoulder to keep the tube in place. FYI this is obviously a frameless pack.

The MTR 201 is definitely a niche product. Great for UL backpackers out for only a single night or trail runners out all day or overnight unsupported. I can see myself using this as a day pack when out with my 3 year old on a picnic/day hike but mostly for one night of fastpacking, or a stage race.

Loses a star for fit/bounce, hipbelt, and no 2nd sternum strap. The option to remove the hipbelt when not in use would be nice.

Leyden and Sons Leather Bag Co. - Cambridge Briefcase

Leyden and Sons Leather Bag Co. - Cambridge BriefcaseMick,

Your bags are amazing and your customer service is even better. Thanks for answering all of my questions through my numerous emails. It's nice to see a company that provides great service before and after a sale when so many companies see you as dollar signs these days and could care less about you once they have your money.

Your packaging fits the vintage feel of your company with the twine and burlap wrapping inside of the box. It made the experience of opening the box almost as fun as getting my bag. The bag is great and fits my needs perfectly. In my week that I've had it, it is already starting to take on some scratches and character, and looks even better than when it arrived. It has plenty of space for my 15" laptop, charger, and files for work. The leather feels very durable and looks great. The hardware is hefty and solid. I'm am more than satisfied. They only piece of advice I can offer would be to add a padded or false bottom to the bag so a laptop in the center compartment would feel a little safer when placing the bag on the floor.

Again, thanks for the great service and I'm sure my bag will be great for years to come.

Liberty Bags Shoulder Strap Barrel Duffel Bag. 8805

Liberty Bags Shoulder Strap Barrel Duffel, Light Tan, One Size. 8805the perfect size bag i was looking for. not too big or too small. i often go on 3-4 day trips out of town and i like to pack really light with just about everything i need in the bag, mainly change of clothes and cosmetics. i don't like to pack heavily or over pack like many girls do. a back pack, purse, and this duffel bag is all that i need for a few days of traveling. this bag measures 18"x10"x10".

Decided on buying this bag, because my other gym bag was just TOO big. This bag is perfect to carry a set of clothes and a water bottle to the gym; I was sweetly surprised to find that it's well made and sturdy, because of the price I wasn't sure. I bought the pink bag, and it looks just like the picture.

I received the bag a couple of days ago and am mostly pleased with it--it's nice and sturdy, seems to be well made and doesn't look cheap (though at its price, it's a bargain!) It's larger than I imagined which can be a good thing for extra storage. A slight complaint I have is with the color of the bag: I ordered it in red, which looks different from the picture. All in all, a handy bag to have, just prepare to be surprised by color!

The light blue pictured is really a bright blue, I guess I should have read the description that it was called turquoise.

Holds a lot, but is still small. enough room for my sneakers a change of clothes, towel and water bottle.

It is cylinder in shape so the sides are circular with a diameter of 10 inches ( roughly the size of a basketball)

The length is 18 inches.

There is also this small little pocket on the side great for your wallet.

The long strap is removable and adjustable.

Great for the price, but one must be accomodating for the color.

I needed a gym bag in any color other than black! (laughing) This bag is definitely one for the budget. It is rather thinly constructed, but it suits me perfectly. I only wanted something to hold clothes ripe with sweat & dirt from working out.

Targus Intersection Vertical Slip Case for 15.6-Inch Laptops (Burgundy)TSS09701US

Targus Intersection Vertical Slip Case for 15.6-Inch LaptopsTSS09701USThere's nothing special about the Targus Intersection Vertical Slip Case and that's what I like. It fits my laptop; it has relatively robust padding; and the material is holding up well (I purchased it a while ago). The only potential downside is the color. I think the color is a little ugly but it doesn't bother me. If color is a concern make sure you like the Burgundy.

Generator Rex with Rex Salazar, Bobo HaHa, Agent 6, Captain Callan, Providence Agent - 16" Backpack

Generator Rex with Rex Salazar, Bobo HaHa, Agent 6, Captain Callan, Providence Agent - 16' BackpackMy son was so ecstatic when I told him I'd finally found a Generator Rex backpack. He was sure there was no hope since we'd come up empty last year.

The construction is standard kids backpack, so if you're looking for it to last more than one year you'll be disappointed. As far as a kid pleaser though, this purchase was a complete winner.

Even though the front puffy picture display is plastic, it looks like it will last. The side elastic pockets are nice for little items he plays with on the bus and the front zip section is perfect for an extra change of clothes for the days he just can't stay out of the mud or snow.

I did not know there was a show called Generator Rex until after I named my son Rex. I had a standard diaper bag for him until he was 6 months old and found this. I bought it because it was so cool (my favorite color is orange so it immediately caught my eye, not to mention the big REX on the front of it), and have been using it as my son's diaper/on the go bag for the past 2 years. I take it with me everywhere we go. It has started falling apart from all of the "love" it has received, so I just bought another one. I highly recommend for the durability alone!
