Lewis N Clark Set of Two Packing Cubes

Lewis N Clark Set of Two Packing CubesI bought these on a whim, to see if using packing cubes instead of compression sacks would be a better way to organize my clothes while travelling. When using my 40L pack, I found that the larger cube is too large to efficiently pack with, but the smaller one was great for keeping my smalls in. When using my mid-sized suitcase for more urban jaunts, both sized cubes worked wonderfully. So much so that I plan to pick up a second set! I just wish they had a few other sizes available, so that I could mix and match which cubes I wanted to use.

CaseCrown Book Cover Clip On Case (Black) for 11 Inch Apple MacBook Air

CaseCrown Book Cover Clip On Case for 11 Inch Apple MacBook AirI bought one of these for my Macbook Air 2011 and I can say the following:

1. Visually its impressive. The Faux Leather looks and feels like the real deal. I was worried about putting any case on my Air as I didn't want to detract away from it's appearance. No worries on this point. The case actually makes my Air stand out from the rest.

2. Quality Although I haven't had the case for more than a week, I expect it to last for quite a while (and if it doesn't, another 18 bucks buys a new one).

3. Protection I'm sure there are other cases that can protect your air better than this one, specifically the clamshell type cases that snap around it to cover it completely. That being said, this case will protect the top and bottom extremely well. When the case is closed, only the left and right sides are exposed (the benefit here is that all the ports are open even when the case is closed). This is not an Otter Box, so if your expecting to be able to drop your macbook air from 10 feet, this case may not be for you. I can tell you though that having this case on here gives me a large degree of comfort knowing that the surfaces of my laptop are protected from scratches and nicks...

4. Wrist Rest When I purchased this case, I didn't realize it had this feature. The wrist rest is built into the case (the bottom part of the Mac Air slides into it). It has a cutout to expose the trackpad (which is fully functional) and is made of thin faux leather. I think it's not there for comfort, but rather to protect the Mac Air where your wrists rest. I know I've had several laptops that lose their luster there from repeated use and I was happy that this case will help keep my Air looking good for years to come.

5. Stand Built into the bottom of the case towards the back there is a pop-out stand. I assume this is to prop up the laptop when using it on a desk to help keep your hands in a "ergonomic" position. I very rarely use my Air at a desk (writing this review from my couch), but I tried it out and it was able to hold the laptop up even while typing a long email. Again, I wasn't expecting this, so I view it as sort of a bonus like the wrist rest.

6. Price I mean come on...it's 18 bucks and free shipping (if your a Prime subscriber). I was seriously considering buying the $79 Book Book case before I saw this one and decided that for the price I'd give it a shot. I'm SO glad I did.

This is my first review of anything I've ever purchased on Amazon (been buying here for 5 years or so) so that ought to tell you something. Oh...and I bought a second one for my wife's 2010 Macbook Air as well.

This might come off a bit harsh. This is not a bad cover, but it does have a few drawbacks. First thing to remember is almost all of these covers even the cough cough PD..... come from China or Korea.

I selected it over the more expensive ones because most are just ripping you off. A 11.6 Macbook Air cover should not be costing more than $50 maximum.

That aside I am using this cover as I type this. As for the external quality of the cover it is pretty good.

Now the few things that ding it as far as rating goes are

1. The little flap on the bottom used for ventilation and propping it up when it is on a desk, does not always stay closed after use. This could be improved. You have to press it in and hold it to make it close, it will still droop down sometimes.

2. Is how it fits on the Air. The Palm rest area slides into the cover and it is not quite a snug fit, not bad but not snug. This is manifest as well when you close the cover. it tends to expose the back corners of the Air until you physically push the air in slightly or push the top of the cover back. In a travel situation when you are in a hurry this could be a problem. As the rear corners of your laptop would be exposed.

I suspect that the $50 faux Suede covers fit more snugly. I can say for $20 delivered it was worth the money. I am not entirely disappointed give that. If I had paid more? I might be more upset.

There are not a lot of options overall for Macbook 11.6 Air in Leather or Leather style covers. In fact most options are in the $100 range.

The bottom line here is for the money, its not a bad cover, not perfect not completely terrible either.

I am sure there are people out there saying you get what you pay for. Though In terms of manufacturing, none of these covers cost a lot a to make. Unless the cover is imported from Italy, or hand made here in the States, it should not be costing you in the $100 range.

Buy CaseCrown Book Cover Clip On Case (Black) for 11 Inch Apple MacBook Air Now

I just bought the new Macbook Air 11 inches 2011. And I wanted something to carry the computer like a book, as I am replacing an iPad . This is the perfect solution. Computer fits perfectly. It's like carrying a book.

I was concerned about getting this but needed a case quickly for my macbook air and so I went for it. I love it. It fits so nicely in the case, I don't feel like it adds much bulk or weight to it and it feels well protected. The little flap that snaps it closed tucks under easilyno problem at all. I never have used that back flap that you can prop the computer withI guess I was a little worried when someone said it might not fit back as snugly as it does now. I have not needed it at all. It looks really nice and has done a great job protecting my new computer from my kids grubby little fingers. I really like the suede like pads which sit where your hands rest. I think this is one of the best features. It really protects your computer from the constant wear of your hands. I would buy another if this one fell apartbut it seems so sturdy I don't see that happening anytime soon. I highly recommend this case. And this is my first ever Amazon Review.

Want CaseCrown Book Cover Clip On Case (Black) for 11 Inch Apple MacBook Air Discount?

This case works well for the 11.6" Macbook Air.

Pros: -Wrist rest area is covered

-Case stays on even when Macbook is open because of elastic attachment

-Bottom where it says CaseCrown opens to prop up the Macbook for ventilation

-Price

Cons: -Not all edges are covered (can possibly get damaged when placed in another bag)

-Adds to thickness when Macbook Air is closed

Overall I like this case especially for the price with just some minor flaws. It provides decent protection for the Macbook air.

14 inch Forest Green Aloha Hawaiian Flowers Notebook Laptop Molded Frame Hard Case Carrying Bag w/H

14 inch Forest Green Aloha Hawaiian Flowers Notebook Laptop Molded Frame Hard Case Carrying Bag w/Handle for Macbook Acer ASUS Dell HP Lenovo Sony ToshibaWe got this to fit my daughters new HP 14 inch laptop. It fits perfectly, and you can just fit the power cord into the inner mesh pocket. We all like that it is a kind of a hybrid. It is as small as a soft side but it really is hard enough to protect the laptop from sharp objects within her larger backpack. Probably not bullet proof but she's a careful kid. Excellent price and pretty too!

LittleLife Adventurer Daysack

LittleLife Adventurer Daysack - CamouflageWe had the toddler version of this backpack from Littlelife. It was super-good quality and I assumed that this one would be too. However, the material on this pack is some thin, stiff, cheap material, not like in the toddler version we received 3-4 years ago. The zipper is good, though.

This backpack fits my 5 year old perfectly but she's not using it for school (she's homeschooled). If you want a school backpack this would be too small. Also, the drink holder is too small for a normal sized kid water bottle. Maybe I would give it 2.5 stars?

Wenger Computer Backpack - Red

Wenger Computer Backpack - RedI got this bag right after finishing school in Dec. Since I graduated I do not need to take a bag with me as much as I did when I was a student, so I haven't used it a lot. I read about people having trouble with their 15" laptops not fitting, I wasn't worried about mine fitting cause I got a 12" laptop, but I tried my parents 15" Fujitsu to see how it fit. Its a pretty thick computer. It was very very tight. Maybe it would stretch out the pocket a bit over time, but it was a real pain to get it in and out. The tags on the bag do say fits MOST 15" laptops.

I came across this bag at Best Buy. Before I saw it I had been planning on getting a Lowepro laptop and camera backpack, since I have one Lowepro camera backpack which I mostly like. Problem with the Lowepro bags were that I couldn't find them in any stores to look at, and the two models I was looking at online were $150-190, and I didn't even really like them that much. Also I don't need to take my camera gear with me all the time, only when taking trips. Anyway, this bag looked well made and it was only around $50. After spending some time online and in stores looking at bags while I waited for my computer to arrive I decided on this one.

I had worried a little about how to pack all my camera gear if I have this bag when I travel, I didn't want to have to take this bag and a camera bag. But as it turns out, the big compartment in this bag is big enough to hold the padded insert from my Lowepro Rover AW camera backpack.

Pros:

Lots of pockets, lots of space.

Mesh pockets on the side are good for drinks.

Seems well made, but I haven't really put it to the test yet, and I haven't owned it long enough to see how it will hold up over time.

No waist belt. (some might consider that a con...)

Stands up by its self.

Compression straps (I think they're called) on the sides.

Cons:

All my complaints seem to be in one compartment. In one of the compartments on the front, which has slots for various small items, there are no pen slots. I really like pen slots. I put my pens and pencils in one of the wider pockets, but if the bag gets turned upside down they all fall out.

Same compartment: all the wider pockets are too narrow for anything I want to put in them, such as business card case, electronic dictionary, etc. It could just be me that thinks they are too narrow, but I think other people will feel the same way.

Choice of colors. I read on Amazon that the gray model is more like silver, so I got red. I would have preferred all black.

Could use some more padding at the top of the computer compartment.

These things I listed as cons are really minor though. Just the things that could have made it an absolutely perfect bag.

I am sure I will have more to say about this bag once I get to take it on a trip.

UPDATE 3/11/08 I have had the bag for about a year now. Its held up well, but it doesn't see daily use. I took it on one trip to Korea and Japan. I like the big open pocket on the front of the bag. Its good for holding things you want easy access to. It looks like the bag is available in blue now. Silver and red were the only choices when I bought it last year. My other complains when I first wrote the review are still the same. Also, the bag no longer stands up by its self as well as it did when it was new. I still really like the bag.

This is an excellent backback. I did a lot of research on what I needed in a laptop tote. I wasn't sure about how it would handle as I traveled through the airports. It handled extremely well as I found out.

The great points:

1) Incredible amount of room with lots of pockets.

2) A separate compartment for the laptop which makes it easier to pull the laptop out while going through security. The strap holding the laptop in is also very easy to open and it keeps the laptop from moving around.

3) The open pocket so that you can stuff itinieries and paperbacks in there as you get on and off the plane.

4) The shoulder straps are easily adjustable and very comfortable.

5) The padding is also very comfortable, I sometimes forget that I have it on.

6) Cool little pocket atop the pack for MP3 players or for wallets.

7) Hard core handle up top for easy and confident transfer.

Not so cool:

1) The small doodad bag up front where you are supposed to stash keys, cell phones, pens and pencils does not have a double zipper so it can easily be wide open without you knowing.

2) The second handle on top of the pack is skimpy and makes no sense.

Overall, I love it and I enjoy using it as I travel about. The pack is very well designed and holds some very pleasant and surprising features.

I wanted to follow up the reviewer that said a 15.4" computer will not fit in this pack. Because of this review, I took my HP dv5000, 15.4" notebook to Best Buy to see if this backpack would be suitable for me. My computer fit in it just fine. Perhaps Wenger has made adjustments to the design, perhaps the reviewer got a lemon, or perhaps not all 15.4" screeened laptops are within the tolerances that Wenger desgined for. Regardless my 15.4" computer fit in this pack just fine and I will be buying it.

I absolutely LOVE THIS BACKPACK!!! In the months it took me to find this product I probably tried every other brand of backpack on the market and none of them come close to the comfort, capacity and styling of this bag. It is well built. I fly from Fl to Ca frequently and carry a Fujitsu T4020 laptop, along with literally a ton of books. With my previous bags my back would ache under the weight, but with this one I hardly feel like I have it on. It fits perfectly under my seat even on the small commuter plane. I particularly like the padded compartment (intended for an ipod or CD player) which I use for my digital voice recorders and camera. I also like the way the padding supports the weight yet still allows for the air to circulate -an important factor for those living in hot climates to consider.

After wearing a pack for most of my adult life (I'm U.S. Marine), I've searched for the best civilian pack to carry the daily stuff in for day trips. This is by far the best design I've seen yet. I've tried many cheap one, ones that I've rebuild, even old military packs. All either lacked quality of construction or were uncomfortable to wear. Old Military packs are nice but lack style and they are green. No pack seems perfect but this is as close as I've found in a 20 year search. Good points are the padding, the design of the inside pockets and the straps. The only weak spot is the front zipper around the top front pouch.

Everki Glide Laptop Backpack? for 17.3-Inch Compact, Light (EKP129)

Everki Glide Laptop Backpack? for 17.3-Inch Compact, LightI ordered this as a graduation gift to my brother and he loved it. He said the best part was that it felt so light despite him having an ASUS 17.3" which is actually bigger and heavy. That was the bad part, the ASUS is so big that it didn't exactly fit in the part where the laptop goes but it did fit inside the backpack over all. It's just a little tight now :( They should have designed it with this in mind I think. I guess it does fit the majority of 17.3" not all. So if you happen to have an ASUS 17.3" know that.

Excellent Backpack, won't hold 17" Gaming Laptop's though. MSi GT70-OND too big. With such a nice bag I decided to keep it and give as gift for someone with NON 8lb Laptop. Ended up with Microsoft Laptop Case from TigerDirect. Can't put $2000 Laptop in backpack that won't zip after it is in.

Have an HP Elitebook with the 17" screen and the huge brick power supply. This was the second backpack I ordered the first one was another brand 'fits most 17" ' did not include MY laptop. My laptop fits in this one, it will hold some files and the power supply, has a pocket for my tablet, a zipper pocket for pens/pencils, more pockets in the front for pens, pencils, thumb drives, a mouse, etc. The front pocket is really deep and goes down to the bottom of the bag. I'm 5'6 and visit different plant sites for work. The laptop and power supply are heavy, and a shoulder bag made me list to the side like a disabled war ship. This backpack fits well, holds what I need, and looks to be well made with heave stitching, heavy duty zipper, good heavy materials. I will update after a few months about durability, but after trying it for a couple of weeks, I am happy with this purchase.

The pack holds a laptop computer and tablet well. But there are no external pockets (one largish central stretch pouch is inadequate). Delivery was on time.

Want Everki Glide Laptop Backpack? for 17.3-Inch Compact, Light (EKP129) Discount?

I was looking for something that was big enough to hold my 17" laptop but wouldn't be huge like most of the 17" laptop backpacks are. That goal was accomplished. My laptop (Satellite P875-S7102) fit, it was a big snug on the corners but it fit. Unfortunately I found a couple design flaws.

My first issue was the straps. They're nicely padded and feel pretty comfortable but they feel like they're made out of brillo pads. I would imagine if this backpack was on for long and touching any part of your skin it would get uncomfortable pretty fast.

The second issue is on the inside of the bag. The material inside is great, soft and protective. Unfortunately the laptop sleeve/pocket came about 4-5 inches short of the top of my laptop. That wouldn't be a big deal except on the other side of that compartment there is a zippered mesh pocket with a zipper that is positioned just above the end of the padded pocket on the other side. That leaves the zipper hanging there to rub and scrape against the side of your laptop that it's against.

Unfortunately I'll be sending it back.

PEGASUS from SwissGear by Wenger Computer Backpack

PEGASUS from SwissGear by Wenger Computer BackpackThis bag is almost perfect. It has some rigidity to it so it can stand on its own which is helpful when you put it down. I sometimes have to carry 2 laptops and it does so perfectly (15.4" and 17"). The size is perfect, not like I'm going to trek over into the Amazon but can provide more than ample room for all sorts of activites/travel. The trend is towards too many compartments and sub-compartments/pockets, but once you get used to it, finding things become very easy. The Zippers work well, the padding and straps are excellent, and as a professional, this bag has a very high-tech, quality professional look to it. Weight is not feathery but is reasonable given its semi-rigid structure and excellent protection. The outer top loop has a nice feel and detail to it when you to lift it up by the loop. Its very balanced on my shoulders and reduces fatigue = important since I travel a lot by air and by motorcycle with it.

My single complaint is that it does not have a lower band or strap which allows it to securely wraparound a roll-on luggage's handle useful when airporting around.

I probably need a life, but this bag has improved the quality of it immensely. The other excellent bags are the Synergy (same price) or the Maxuum (slightly cheaper), both by Swissgear but I don't think anyone makes a better functional or aesthetic bag than the Wegner Swissgear folks!

This is a very well constructed bag, but the odd design of the diagonal separation between the larger back and middle compartments, and their equal depth, really limits what you can put into the bag. If you want to carry lots of legal pads, this would be a great bag. I want one large section for all of my books, etc., and a thinner section for the computer. I exchanged this for the Maxxum (also Wenger), which is perfect for me, as well as cheaper! The Maxxum also adds an adjustable kangaroo pouch on the front which is very handy. Ah, I should also note that both of these packs have an across-the chest strap that is placed too high. I still use it because it really helps with weight distribution.

I got this for my sweety and he LOVES it. It fits his Dell Inspiron e1705 perfectly and for those reviews complaining about the zippersthey must have something different. The zippers on this bag are slippy but they lock, if you know what I mean. They won't unzip themselves.

It's got plenty of room for his accessories, work things, books and an extra change of clothes for overnight trips.

I have to admit, I thought about getting one for my e1405, but can't justify the expenditure when the laptop in a neoprene case transports well in my beat-up old Jansport. And he needed a backpack anyway.

We saw an airline employee traveling with the Pegasus from SwissGear and he had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. The only worry was getting one to fit his 17" computer. I bought this backpack with a niggling feeling from the iffy reviews, but let me put your mind at rest. He slipped it in and latched it and voila! Perfect fit. Snug but nowhere near worrisome. Plus, it's got a pocket for your Swiss Army knife. (but remember to take it out before heading to the airport!)

Highly recommendedand the price right now on Amazon is the best I've seen so far, saving up to $30 on other sites.

When I decided to get a high end laptop with a 17" screen, equally important was getting a nice-looking, roomy backpack that would adequately protect it. The challenge about finding a nice 17" backpack, though, is that most of them are very bland and the overall selection is extremely narrow.

I quickly noticed how Wenger's Swiss Army backpacks were nice looking (and they even feature colors other than black or gray), but scouring many website reviews I read a repeated complaint that Dell's 17" laptops "barely" fit in this pack, the zipper "barely" got around the machine, etc., etc. Now that I finally jumped off the cliff to risk this pack without testing it in real life, I want to assure you this lovely backpack has ample room for Dell's monster notebooks. The only thing "snug" about it is that the laptop pocket is tight around your hardware. This means you can't just mindlessly drop your notebook in: you have to line it up with the pocket, but once in place, your machine slides in easily and there are zero problems with the zipper clearing around the edges.

After that, there's space for a three inch thick textbook, if you want, and/or a large zippered leather portfolio folder. I can fit those in, along with a coiled, long USB cable, oversized headphones and a full-sized wired mouse. There's a separate zippered, breathable bag to store your power cord, battery and a travel power adapter if you choose. And I still have more room after that.

The laptop compartment is padded on all sides (including the bottom) and there's thick, firm padding along the shoulder straps and the back. There's a sternum/high chest strap you can clip as well, if you're feeling particularly mountain man-like.

Externally, if you love the Swiss Army white cross on red background logo, you'll love this pack, because the little design is on every single zipper pull, on the shoulder straps, and elsewhere. The blue color that looks so strong in the photos is actually much more subdued in real life and could even be mistaken for gray. The red logos set things off, and the little media player pocket on the top front is completely lined in red material, which adds nice punch to everything.

Another cool touch is the main hand grip at the top of the pack-it's metal coil wrapped in clear plastic, and then wrapped again in a soft rubber grip. Very cool looking.

Best of all? Unlike other backpacks (third and first party) you could bundle with your purchase at Dell's website, this pack doesn't come emblazoned with a screaming "steal me, I'm an expensive computer" Dell logo smack in the middle of it. This pack could easily be seen as a plain ole backpack.

Heartily recommended. Dell 17-inchers (and otherwise): have no fear.

I've had this backpack for a week and took it right away on a trip to Vancouver. It's built strong and it looks strong too! The extra compartments on it made me feel queezy at first but I soon learned to love them, you can compartmentalize all your stuff and keep them accessible. My laptop is well protected and you can keep all your accesories handy like your mouse, cables, printer cables, etc. The shock absorbers at the straps really take the pain off carrying a lot of stuff on the backpack. I definitely recommend it to all those looking for a great product to keep your laptop and your stuff safe and handy!

Quiksilver Schoolie Backpack (Multi)

Quiksilver Schoolie BackpackI bought this backpack for my child, who will start kindergarten next fall. When it arrived, I realised how big it was. The main compartment is really roomy. It houses my 15'' MacBook, my padfolio, quite a few books, notebooks and pencil cases. THere's an insulated front pocket that could push your old lunchbox into early retirement, or of counsel at least! One more front pocket holds and organises all your school supplies.

Two lateral pockets come in very handy if you have, like I have, to carry an epi-pen and a ventolin inhaler. I use the other one to hold keys, money, you name it. Right by the handle there's a smaller pocket.

As you probably have guessed by now, my daughter never got to use it.

I would not recommend it for younger children, but it's perfect for junior high and higher.

My 12 year old really likes this backpack. Seems well made; light weight but tough. Has a great look. Time will tell if it can take the abuse of school. He's looking forward to using it.

theres a lot of storage space in here. I fit all six of my college textbooks in it with no problems. The pockets on the sides are big enough that i store my texas instruments calculator and my portable hard drive in them, the the cooler pocket is nice to have for long days on campus. the straps are a little thin, but they're sturdy and only get uncomfortable when you have a lot of books (6) in it. It was a good buy.

My son was looking for a quality and decent looking bag, that would last him through school. Yet big enough, that still has style.

We scoured department stores, but no luck.. major complaint was the bags were just too small or the quality was not great!

Then we came across this bag and read the reviews and it sounded like we found what were looking for!!

The cost is a little more that I expected to spend, although after we received the merchandise i fully understand why.

This bag is definitely worth the purchase because it is roomy enough for books, has great compartment for the little thing (keys, phone, chapstick, etc..) The quality will definitely last you awhile through grade school and even high school... but as you know it's not about the quality, it's the fashion it will outlast!

My son, who is 13 yrs. old was very impressed with the bag and if anyone has a 13 year old... That is definitely saying alot!!

Goodluck!

V.T. 16" Men's Full Leather Briefcase Backpack Sprot Tote (3 straps) L69

V.T. 16' Men's Full Leather Briefcase Backpack Sport Tote L69. DistressThis is a great, sturdy commuter/travel bag which is what I originally purchased it for ... to replace an old, tired backpack. It is expandable enough to hold everything I may need to carry including a laptop and sturdy enough to put an apple in for lunch without worrying of travel bumps and bruises. Best feature is the ability to switch to shoulder bag or backpack to ease back pain and then transform into a professional looking briefcase, for interviews or meetings. Would be perfect as a carry-on for air travel.

This is not an on-the-fly-throw-everything-in-and-go bag. It is a bit of a process to open and close it but I find that makes me consider more carefully what I'm about to do and where I am going ... giving an extra pause, instead of rushing around like an idiot and forgetting things I really needed later on.

It is also not a quick access bag. There is one side sleeve, which is somewhat awkward to work with when the backpack straps are attached, however the buckle system for closing the bag makes me feel much more confident that nothing is falling out and/or no one is reaching in during a crowded commute.

Not really on a negative-side ... it is wider than a regular backpack when worn over the shoulders. This has caused more collisions with other walkers/texters when traversing the crowded streets of Manhattan. The upside is that it is strong enough to knock most people out of their daze to consider being aware of their surroundings instead of blindly navigating in their hazy, Blackberry world. I still say "I'm sorry" even while smiling inside.

Wish I had this bag ten years ago so that the leather would be a little softer, but certain that I would have gotten more second interviews. This would make a great graduation gift for a college student which they would truly appreciate a decade later.

Well worth every expensive penny paid.

Leather is stiff but hopefully that will improve with age. If it does would be 5 star rating. Works nice as backpack.

Altego Coated Canvas 13-Inch Laptop Slipcase, Black (36504)

Altego Coated Canvas 13-Inch Laptop Slipcase, BlackFits MacBook Air and 13 inch Samsung Series 9 perfectly.

I bought this as a small case to carry my Samsung Series 9 laptop, its charger, and a Kindle Fire. So far, I couldn't ask for more. It is sized perfectly (not too loose, not too tight). The MacBook is a little larger, but fits well too. The weight of the case is minimal, and the padding is sufficient to protect the computer but not add too much bulk. The shoulder strap is comfortable and the build quality appears good (I've only used it for about 2 months so far).

In the main central pocket, my Logitech usb mini-dongle doesn't stick out enough to bind (nor the SDXC card on the other side).

I can slip in a slim portable mouse into the larger side pocket without much bulging along with the charger and cords.

My Kindle Fire just fits into the small side pocket, as if it were designed that way.

There's about enough room for my passport and boarding pass, and that is exactly what I was hoping to find in this product: No extra weight, No extra volume (temptation to carry more than I need), and comfort when carrying it.

hard to fit everything you'll need to pack light. the iPad sleeve is great if you don't have a big case i had to buy a different case. i can fit a spiral notebook and plastic folder in with my macbook and i have plenty of tools loaded in the front pocket.

I just purchased my XPS 12, which so far is fantastic, and I wanted to find a cool carrying case that looked great, wasn't bulky, and is light. I couldn't have made a better choice than the Altego Slipcase. My friends and coworkers are so impressed with this case and it feels great strapped to my shoulder. If you have a 12" to 13" laptop you have to get this carrying case.

Also I can easily fit my electrical chord in one pocket and any papers or small devices like an iPad in the other pocket. The build quality is great and durable. The exterior is a nice matte black and the interior is smooth and soft. The zippers are high quality. This is a great case, there is nothing I would change.

This is a sturdy well-made bag. It arrived 5 days early, which was great. Fits 13.3" Ultrabook just fine...not alot of room for the charger, but it still all fits. The picture makes the bag look light grey, but it's a very dark grey almost black, which is even better. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice simple bag with a good amount of padding.

I just got this about a week ago....so far I love it. When I first opened it, I was a little worried that my Macbook Pro wouldn't fit. My laptop even has a protective hardcase on it.

I love that this bag is very well padded. This is a nice little bag, plain and simple :)

fl Superstition - Turquoise

fl Superstition - TurquoisePurchased for our daughter for school and it has been a great backpack. She loved the color we liked the quality fabric, solid, sturdy zippers and good stitches overall for the entire backpack.

Cons: The fabric is quality, but it did show dirt/grime relatively easy and it didn't wash up very well.

Overall impressions though it was a great backpack and one that did its job well.

This brand has held up very well for my children but the time finally came to replace one of them. Great color, perfect size and the padding on the straps ensures no sore shoulders. My daughter loves the zippered pocket on the shoulder strap that she can fit her ipod in. Good buy again!

I had to switch from my beautiful red leather laptop bag to a backpack due to back and shoulder problems. I wasn't supposed to carry a bag on one shoulder anymore. I went searching for a backpack I could transport my laptop in to and from work. I wanted something not childish, but colorful. I thought about a leather backpack but in the end I settled on this bag. I'm glad I did! The straps are very soft and thick so they don't hurt my shoulders. The part that's up against my back has padding. Every backpack I had in college and high school, my laptop or books would dig into my lower back and it hurt. Not the case with this bag!

In addition to being VERY comfy and easy to use, it also has several pockets. Great for storing my books and my clutch purse and my water bottles. I love this bag and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Belvah Large Quilted Polka Dot Backpack - Choice of Colors

Belvah Large Quilted Polka Dot Backpack - Choice of ColorsIt is cute, really cute, but the product in the picture shows the inside of the back pack as gingham, that isn't what we got. Ours was just black on the inside. Its not big enough for all of my daughters books. So, while its a Large, its not that big. If you are looking for something for a 3rd or 4th grader its perfect. Not for a 6th grader. However, while my daughter was'nt that happy with the size, she still likes it.

LOVE the Belvah bags and this one did not let me down!!!! My daughter has the entire matching set now and this backpack is just what she needed to finish the set!

Wenger Patriot Rolling Case - Black

Wenger Patriot Rolling Case - BlackCase is very well made, and includes a pull-out briefcase with its own handle. This case accomodates a 15.4 inch laptop, and the entire briefcase nests in the rolling case. If you remove the briefcase, that space becomes a holder for a 17" laptop. strong handles and an easy roller, with a large back pocket that opens at 90 degrees -perfect for a short business trip's worth of clothes.

Better quality than equivalent Targus products (which I previously used for my 17" laptop, until the pull handle failed after a couple of years).

Well built bag. As you'd expect from Wenger the construction, wheels, zippers are all solid. Sometimes the handle is a little tricky to extend or stow and over all it "feels" shakier than I would like but this is a common issue among these 4 stage extensions.

I like the layout. LOVE the front zip pocket and the file/flex drop down.

Note the size, particularly if you are looking at it for travel it won't fit into many of the small overhead compartments such as the CRJs. Also, If you put much into the included laptop back (like a laptop) it really bulges into the adjoining pockets both in front and back. (I don't use the back compartment for clothes, but rather books (which have to be offset as it is not tailored to fit dual 8x11 for instance).

That having been said, I *love* the bag when I am on site aka just going back and forth between the home/hotel and office. The included laptop back includes the dedicated mounting strap so it can easily ride on the main case as an add on piece eliminating any "under utilization" elements from trying to overload it. There are also no concerns with overhead in this situation.

Just don't try to over pack it and know you will be gate-checking it if space is any sort of an issue.

PS We got my wife the patriot. The layout is a little different, the "wonder" pocket that I love so much is moved to the front and it eliminates the back "extra" compartment. It isn't that much thinner and she is still having problems with it in some overheads. It also lacks the dedicated strap on the side so you end up using the handles of the case itself.

It's compact enough to slide under the airline seat. Computer easily removable when going through security checks. Also lots of room fo extras such as snacks, reading material, etc.

Purchased this for my husband to replace his worn out case. He liked the look and ability to put so much in it. His job requires that he fly commercial airlines often. The case does not fit under the seat in front and if he is on a commuter flight (smaller plane) it does not fit in the overhead either. If you don't need to fly, this bag is great. It is sturdy, looks professional and rolls smoothly.

Want Wenger Patriot Rolling Case - Black Discount?

The Wenger Patriot is, for me, the classic road warrior bag. It has plenty of geek appeal, with its many pockets that allow the anal retentive organizer separate and categorize its content. It is large enough to be my primary carry-on for day trips up to 2 or 3 days, and small enough to squeak by as a "personal item or brief case" on most flights other than those on excruciatingly small commuter planes. The frequent traveler will see this bag being rolled around by more other frequent travelers than almost any other bag and there is good reason. It is more bag for the price than almost any other. There have been many minor version changes over the years as the company has made minor changes. I'm on my second one after about 7 years. The old one is still usable, but the wheels got embarrassingly noisy as the bearings wore out from miles of duress. My new one has slightly less room in the back compartment due to thicker, presumably more durable or cheaper-to-make tubes on the pop-up handle the old one's handle was much thinner but never gave up on me despite the fact I put that bag through hell. This is indeed the "swiss army knife of travel bags." Unless you need much more expensive "status luggage" to satisfy an executive ego, you cannot go wrong with it. My old one has been my most reliable travel companion for years, outliving 3 laptops, 2 projectors, 3 cell phones, and so on. Even though I've replaced it, I won't throw it away. It will become my second bag on those trips where I need more capacity, because these are just the right size that you can stack them and get away with carrying two of them onto most planes.
