Kelty Women's Redtail 1600 Backpack

Kelty Women's Redtail 1600 Backpack(Black )This bag is designed with fashion, not function, in mind. The side pockets are angled in a cool looking way, but unfortunately, you cannot carry even a small water bottle in one of these pockets because the angling causes the bottle to tilt & fall out repeatedly. The pockets inside are also angled to look cool, causing stuff to fall all over inside the bag. Also, the bag lacks the nice inside mesh pocket of other redtail backpacks (I've had several). Finally, there is a non-removable plastic panel inside the back of the bag that causes it to creak and squeak constantly as you walk. Very annoying, and loud enough for everyone around to hear. I would get a different, more basic redtail if I had the money, and would donate this one to the Salvation Army.

I was looking for a backpack which I could use on a daily basis to commute from the gym to work to school on public transportation. I needed something that could hold a lot of heavy things, including a laptop, without hurting my back. I also wanted a bag that I could take hiking or use for travel. This bag meets all of my requirements! It had more than enough space for me to fit school books, work papers and gym stuff, and it carries well on my back without being overly bulky. There are enough pockets to keep my belongings organized, and the lumbar and chest straps help with heavy loads. I see it being perfect for travel and hiking as well. I also appreciate that the straps are narrow enough for my frame I'm 5'1". Highly recommended!

I got this bag in Mauve. The bag looks nice and I like the organization. But it really squeaks loud. It was so embarassing and annoying. I've repositioning it on the shoulder or changing the length, nothing really stop it from squeaking. Very disappointed that I have to return it.

I use this pack for day hikes, travel and school (I am a grad student). Overall it is a good pack. The straps are comfortable, and the back ventilation works pretty well. The size is a bit big for day hikes, but perfect for carrying a few textbooks, a laptop, my lunch... As far as the annoying squeak, in my experience it went away after a month or 2 of regular use, and even when it was present, I was the only one who noticed it. The only problem with the pack are the mesh side pockets, which are too small to hold a water bottle. I use the compression straps to hold mine in, but I wish I didn't have to. The pack is however compatible with a bladder system, so when I'm hiking, that's how I hydrate.

Yes, it has style but it works too. It fits great and doesn't squeak and my water bottle has not come close to falling out. Plenty of room; plenty of pockets and straps. I had to return the 1800 because it just didn't fit. I'm very happy with my 1600.

Victorinox Luggage Ch 97 2.0 22 Tourist

Victorinox Luggage Ch 97 2.0 22 Tourist, Black, One SizeI recently took my first vacation daring not to check my luggage (and pay for it) and go solely carry-on. I looked at a number of bags on Amazon and chose this one. It far exceeded my expectations. It has packing space everywhere you can imagine and in fact, when I returned home and was unpacking, I found even more spots that I hadnt noticed before. I had the bag packed as full as it could be returning from my trip and really didnt think it would fit in the overhead, but, it did! The handle and wheels work wonderfully too and zip in for storage really easily. I absolutely love this bag. Five stars plus!

K-Cliffs Organizer Outdoor Sports Biking Hiking Backpack / School Bag - 3 Color Options

Pink K-Cliffs Organizer Outdoor Sports Biking Hiking Backpack / School BagIt does exactly what a backpack is meant to do. It holds my stuff, and seems pretty sturdy. As other reviewers have mentioned, though, it's a little small -but it's large enough to fit the books and such I need. It's a good backpack -but if you're trying to fit something larger than a standard size binder, or a lot of little things, you should look for something bigger.

Not a bad little backpack. Not as much room as I expected but

lots of little pockets for everything. Good wide straps for your

shoulders too.

All in all its a good little pack but I would not recommend this

for more than casual use as it is too small for serious long

hiking backpack trips.

Four out of five stars overall.

I received my book bag earlier then estimated. I was happy when it made it to me, and it has been wonderful to have. My computer does not fit in the section provided, but it has plenty room in the rest of the bag. It came in mint condition with no problems attached. Thanks I am once again a grateful customer. Peace.

Briggs & Riley Brx Explore 22 Upright

Briggs & Riley Brx Explore 22 Upright,Slate,22x14x9 inchI conducted a lot of research before buying this bag. I needed something that would be the largest allowed to carry on a plane and also durable enough for the rugged places I have to travel to. This bag does the trick. It is by far, built better than any other carry on I've owned. It's very lightweight, yet sturdy and roomy. I love the pocket types and placements. There is no overkill, just what you need where you need it. The pictures do not show the upper lid pocket well, but what a great idea. It's constructed like a rectangular box, great for glasses or items you want relative protection around. The best part is that I use this to travel around war zones but can arrive at a 4 star hotel and still look classy. The 'no B.S.' warranty that Briggs and Riley has for their bags is a great relief as well.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews, speaking to friends and carefully evaluating sizes, brands and styles before picking this bag.

Size: I wanted a bag that fit in the overhead bin meeting std. US air carrier restrictions, and yet was as big as possible. This bag meets that requirement perfectly. I am able to fit my camera tripod (goes with me on most trips) and everything else I need for a 6 day trip. 5 STARS

Style: I had not initially thought of a bag that does not have stiff sides and a very rigid top. This was a concern at first, but I found the contents of the bag provides that structure that you expect from a bag like this. The advantage of the soft configuration is that you are more likely to fit this into a tight overhead bin as it bends/molds well. 5 STARS

Quality: The build quality is excellent. Wheels 5 STARS, handle 5 STARS, buckles, zips and fabric 5 STARS

Design: Almost perfect. The wide open main compartment with handle frame out side is excellent and I love the various outside compartments (slip magazines in the open one, laptop and manilla folders in the zip one and passport and liquids ziploc bag in the top one). The only negative I have with the bag is the main inside pouch. I am not sure what they were thinking (or not as the case may be) when they designed it. It has a single zip not double, so you cannot choose which way it opens and closes and it is the wrong way. Imagine you have your bag on the luggage rack at your hotel with lid open in a vertical position a very common occurrence. In this configuration, the zip opens at the bottom. Trying to put things in and close the zip before they fall out again is nigh on impossible. So Design gets a 4 STAR rating.

I originally purchased a Briggs and Riley BRX 19" carryon (see my review) but found it was too small for my travel needs and was able to exchange it for this bag. I have been very pleased with the carryon--the craftsmanship is superb, it is light yet rugged and is a well thought out bag with enough compartments and pockets to be useful, yet not gimmicky. I especially like the almost invisible expandable feature of the bag, giving an additional inch or so to the depth of the bag. The top and side handles make carrying the bag when not using it as a roller it very comfortable.

I am very impressed with the way the bag rolls over all sorts of floor and street surfaces, and find that the exterior handle makes for a perfectly flat compartment; it's easier to pack and avoid wrinkling clothes. The large compartment has very easy to use dividers to help clothes from wrinkling and the smaller front compartment has handy pockets, a zippered sub-compartment, and a padded section for a laptop or tablet computer. It also has an exterior expandable slash pocket; my only very minor complaint is that there is no zipper or other way to secure this pocket, making it possible to have items fall out when placing in overhead compartments.

For longer trips, this bag and my BRX backpack are the prefect complements, making it possible to travel for a week or more without being burdened by luggage. I am sold on the Briggs and Riley BRX line of luggage--including their no-nonsense lifetime warranty--and find that their combination of light weight, appearance, and ruggedness make them ideal travel companions. The Briggs and Riley BRX line strikes a good balance between slightly adventurous looking, light and flexible luggage and the more traditional bags that countless travelers use.

I've had this carry on for just over a year now, I bought it to replace an aging travelpro. I read quite a few reviews on various carry-on bags and settled on this based on the positive reviews, slightly different looking design to make it easier to spot at an airport vs. all the hippopanonymous black rectangles, and I liked the idea of the exterior luggage handle resulting in a flatter floor.

So after a year of use (~50k miles in the last year, combination of shorter and longer trips, both business and personal etc) I'm moderately happy with this bag:

Pros:

1) Build quality is overall very good. The one exception is the finish on the handle portion of the carry handle is wearing off prematurely, but overall it's holding up well. Fabric holds up well, zippers are pretty solid etc.

2) Generally well designed. Lots of little features that make sense, placement of pockets etc. One example is the little slot inside for your liquids is very easy to access quickly at security lines then replace after. An interior pouch for dirty laundry is also nice. Pockets on the exterior are the right size etc. The compression straps (someone posted in the comment of another review that they are not compression straps ... well they may well have other uses but they do compress the bag) cinche it down pretty tight when full, though I still had some problems fitting in overheads (more on that later).

3) Looks good and stands out from the pack while still looking reasonably sleek and professional. I want to be able to spot my bag on a luggage carousel (though I rarely check this), spot someone walking away with it etc. and the gray and slightly different shape help w/ this but at the same time doesn't look ridiculous.

Cons:

1) My biggest gripe is, it just isn't that space efficient in terms of interior space vs. the exterior dimensions of the bag. I think the exterior carry handle is probably the culprit here, along with the less "squared" shape of the bag. It just doesn't seem to fit as much clothing as my old travelpro, which would be ok but despite this I often have a harder time fitting the B&R into overhead bins depends on the plane, even on some larger planes like some 757s and 737s it either won't fit, or fits only with an inordinate amount of cramming (basically have to force it in so it compresses on itself as much as possible). Regional jets it needs to be checked at the jetway but that's a given for just about any bag of this general type. Also when packing clothes, the flatter floor as a result of the exterior carry handle doesn't seem to yield any practical benefits yes it's flatter but my clothes don't come out any less wrinkled or anything as a result.

2) Premature wearing on the carry handle is bothersome, though again otherwise the build quality and materials quality are pretty good and it's holding up well with this one exception.

Overall, a good product with good materials and build quality. However, if I could do it again after owning this for a year, I'd probably get something else something more rectangular with an interior carry handle (the more generic business traveller carryons you see everywhere) that seem to have less problems fitting into overhead bins while holding as much or more than this.

Want Briggs & Riley Brx Explore 22 Upright Discount?

Pros: Outside pockets provide stress-free organization, lightweight and compact size for most carry-on bins, flat internal area for packing, sturdy and durable construction, Lifetime warranty.

Cons: Expansion zipper/system doesn't work well and grab handle on bottom is awkward. Might not fit into all overhead carry-on bins.

If you don't want to carry your backpack or duffel bag on a business trip but need something a little more rough and tumble than the standard rolling suitcas the Briggs & Riley BRX line is a well designed bag that will meet both needs at the same time. It is like a chameleon that changes for the need and keeps your luggage inside the carry on compartment without skimping on the features of more full size suitcases.

The BRX 22" bag has made numerous trips with me to various cities and occasions worldwide. I have used it mainly for 3-5 day trips but also used it a few times for a ten day business trip in San Francisco and a week-long business/personal trip to Hong Kong. I would recommend the bag mainly for shorter trips as it is only carry-on size but it does expand and it larger than some 18" carry-ons. If you pack lightly and do not plan to purchase a lot in route it works well beyond the 3-5 days I generally use it for.

The length of the handle and the quality of the wheels were stand outs in my early tests with this suitcase compared to past suitcases. The handle was plenty long enough to not have the annoying leg bang that occurs with short handles and the wheels are a sturdy, dense rubber that always seems to roll well.

The expansion and bottom handle take some getting used to and are my biggest cons with this particular suitcase. The bottom handle can be hard to find when you are gripping the bag and at times feels flimsy because it is built into the outer fabric not a separate handle. Also, the expansion is a partial zip (not all the way around the top) and this makes the expansion feature smaller and less optimal than it should be. The size though as mentioned is adequate for a typical long weekend and up to a five day trip.

The bag is extremely durable and despite all the trips (including numerous times checked) it does not show major wear and tear. It also has a good cinch down strap feature that keeps me feeling safe that the bag will not come open unnecessarily. The construction does look more casual than the standard black rolling suitcase. This is done to provide for the outside pockets and provide additional rugged construction for use of this bag beyond a simple business trip.

I have not yet had to use the famous Briggs & Riley warranty but colleagues of mine swear by the policy and have gotten prompt and remarkable service when requesting a repair or new suitcase due to damage.

I would recommend this bag for use as a go to bag for almost every occasion, unless of course you need to have a backpack or carry bag in some of the more remote places. It provides stylish, durable construction with numerous convenience added packing features.

TITLE MMA World Champion Sport Bag/Back Pack, Black

TITLE MMA World Champion Sport Bag/Back Pack, Blackit was my second order , again the zipper came off .. I only use the bag twice .. it a waste .. do not buy ..

This bag is large enough for me to carry my boxing gloves, shoes, wraps, and a change of clothing. I really like the large size zipper also.

Buy TITLE MMA World Champion Sport Bag/Back Pack, Black Now

I purchased this bag thinking it would be strong and tough, I was wrong. In less than a month the shoulder strap broke off, cheap plastic. The bag ripped right in the middle next to the zipper, terrible stitching. If by any chance the bag ripes, the hole will just continue to run, cheap nylon.

I only had boxing gear and some extra clothes in the bag and all these things went wrong with it.

I don't recommend this bag to anyone, it's just a waste of money. I can't imagine what would happen to the bag if I actually wanted to carry big heavy things in it.

DON'T BUY IT!

I bought this bag for my Kick boxing gear. At the beginning I thought it was a little to big, but after filling it up with gear I soon realized it was rightly sized.

I store my shin guards (XL size), 16oz gloves, MMA gloves, wraps, water, mouth piece, spare tshirt. Sometime I take my GI as well and fits right in.

Good quality and look. If I had to pick on something, it would be on the oversized zipper. It looks a little childish, but I get its more functional.

I would say, buy it. The price is also REALLY good compared to other bags.

Want TITLE MMA World Champion Sport Bag/Back Pack, Black Discount?

I bought this bag on Amazon as I train boxing and BJJ 3-4x a week and wanted one bag to carry all the gear required for multiple martial arts from home to car to gym and back. To be honest I was not expecting too much given the price, but I was very surprised when I opened the box at my door. This gear bag over delivers for $30 in my opinion. The first thing you notice is the beefy main compartment zipper. It is oversized big plastic job with a great Title MMA logo pull on it. It is a great feature along with the nice sized mesh pocket on each side. Perfect for storing your keys, watch, phone, etc. while you are training and then great for sweaty wraps and t-shirt after. The large interior space is big enough to hold my 16oz boxing gloves, headgear, a couple pair of fight shorts, wraps, rash guard, bjj Gi, extra t-shirts, mouthpiece case, etc. I have had this bag for two weeks and have been very happy with it. So nice to have everything for training in one bag and not have to walk in with gear overflowing trying to carry everything in your hands or multiple small bags. Also as a side note-the logos are fine-not really a selling point for me either way-much more concerned with function than the look of the logos-that being said they are the standard Title MMA look and not too obnoxious.

The bag also has a zippered compartment on the bottom where you can pull out straps and attach so as to use it as a backpack. I have not used this feature yet, but might come in handy if you used this as a travel bag for tournament or just for a weekend travel bag-it is definitely big enough.

Bags for LessTM Sporter Drawstring Backpack, Black

Bags for LessTM Sporter Drawstring Backpack, BlackI purchase this bag a few weeks ago for my son to take his games shoes to school in (he is only putting his shoes in there nothing else).

I thought that if I bought a bag with better straps instead of the usual thin straps that are normally found on a drawstring bag that it would last longer.

In my opinion a snowball in hell would last longer than this bag.

The straps are not reinforced at the bottom and so the strap as come away from the bag leaving a frayed hole. The material at the front of the bag is also fraying.He has only taken this bag to school on three occasions now.

ordered this for my daughter the backpack itself is fine. She just wanted a DRAWSTRING back pack and did not realize I had ordered the Padded shoulder strap version. IT fits more like an actual back pack and that is not what she wanted. My fault.

Disney Mickey Mouse Drawstring Backpack

Disney Mickey Mouse Drawstring BackpackI was so excited to find these backpacks for my kids to carry a few small essentials during their first trip to Disney World. In them I put their Autograph book, a couple snacks and a disposable camera. My son also had a regular digital camera in his. By the end of the 2nd day he already had a big hole in the side of his bag. My daughters lasted a few extra days but was through by day 6. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of these bags!

Considering that my daughter is a mickey fiend..it is gorgeous but a bit on the "small" side. Other than that she loves it!!

Got this for my daughter for our trip to disneyland and she loved it very light weight the pocket on the front is handy. The material is thicker than our other drawstring backpack. With the thick material and the pocket on the front I did feel that it wasnt as easy to stuff into small places like ride pouches as the other one I have but we like it all the same.

V.T. 16" Men's Full Leather Briefcase Backpack Sprot Tote (3 straps) L69

V.T. 16' Men's Full Leather Briefcase Backpack Sport Tote L69. DistressThis is a great, sturdy commuter/travel bag which is what I originally purchased it for ... to replace an old, tired backpack. It is expandable enough to hold everything I may need to carry including a laptop and sturdy enough to put an apple in for lunch without worrying of travel bumps and bruises. Best feature is the ability to switch to shoulder bag or backpack to ease back pain and then transform into a professional looking briefcase, for interviews or meetings. Would be perfect as a carry-on for air travel.

This is not an on-the-fly-throw-everything-in-and-go bag. It is a bit of a process to open and close it but I find that makes me consider more carefully what I'm about to do and where I am going ... giving an extra pause, instead of rushing around like an idiot and forgetting things I really needed later on.

It is also not a quick access bag. There is one side sleeve, which is somewhat awkward to work with when the backpack straps are attached, however the buckle system for closing the bag makes me feel much more confident that nothing is falling out and/or no one is reaching in during a crowded commute.

Not really on a negative-side ... it is wider than a regular backpack when worn over the shoulders. This has caused more collisions with other walkers/texters when traversing the crowded streets of Manhattan. The upside is that it is strong enough to knock most people out of their daze to consider being aware of their surroundings instead of blindly navigating in their hazy, Blackberry world. I still say "I'm sorry" even while smiling inside.

Wish I had this bag ten years ago so that the leather would be a little softer, but certain that I would have gotten more second interviews. This would make a great graduation gift for a college student which they would truly appreciate a decade later.

Well worth every expensive penny paid.

Leather is stiff but hopefully that will improve with age. If it does would be 5 star rating. Works nice as backpack.

Brenthaven 2133 ProStyle Lite Backpack for 15-Inch MacBooks /Laptop / Ultrabook - Black

Brenthaven 2133 ProStyle Lite Backpack for 15-Inch MacBooks /Laptop / Ultrabook - BlackI love a lot about this bag. The layout is great. The quality of construction is top-notch. The weight, style, and format were perfect for me. But, unfortunately, this is one terrible backpack. The key flaw is that the shoulder straps are sewn on several inches below the top of the bag along a *horizontal* seam. Picture a person's shoulders and you'll realize, shoulders are not horizontal.

The end result is that the straps have to twist to accommodate the anatomical shape of the wearer's shoulders, and as a result, they displace nearly all the weight of the pack along just the inside edges of the straps. This intense stress concentration on one's shoulders and neck muscles is quite painful, especially if you have 10 lbs (5 kg) of laptop, iPad, chargers, and books in the bag. I wore the bag around for a week while on a trip and it was so painful that I nearly exchanged it for another bag while still on my trip. If you never walk more than 100 paces before you set the bag down, you'll love it. But if you have to walk more than a minute or two with this bag on, it's going to become a torture device, and some massage therapist is going to love you.

To my friends a Brenthaven (a company I truly like): Please seek out outdoor equipment designers in Seattle who really know backpacks (I'm thinking REI, MSR, OR, etc..) to help your luggage designers learn to make proper backpacks. There's lots of knowledge in the industry about how to design packs that displace load well. You'll have to put as much focus on weight displacement as you do on those wonderful fuzzy pockets that protect our iThings if you want to make truly great backpacks.

I travel a great deal and need to carry a bit more than the minimum. My standard setup is a carry-on roller bag with a backpack hung onto it, piggy-back style. On the plane, the backpack lives under the seat in front of me, and serves as an excursion bag once I am on site. The Brenthaven 2133 ProStyle Lite is just right for me. It balances nicely on the roller bag and holds my Dell Latitude E6400 easily in a separate compartment. There's an ample center space for files and reading material, and a front section that I use for my Cocoon CPG10BK GRID-IT Organizer, 12 x 8 Inch, Black and all miscellaneous cables, adapters, headphones, etc. The little zip pocket in front is fine for a small amount of quickly stashed flat stuff, like tickets and magazines, so long as they are not quite full-size.

This backpack is slim and does not feel bulky on the back. It fits my mba or 15 mbp just fine. There is a special compartment for a tablet which I use for my ipad. It also fits all the other odds and ends I tend to travel with just fine (mag safe charger, ipad charger, pens, business cards, 3 port power adapter, universal power adapter, mifi) and there is still a lot of room to spare. Everything is organized nicely and items are very easy to get to. I was using a messenger bag for a long time, but switched back to a backpack and am glad I did. This backpack is extremely comfortable and feels sturdy on the back. I could even fit an some spare clothing or a sweatshirt in this no problem. The foldaway water bottle holder is nice touch as well.

JanSport Covert Backpack (Pink Prep Hippy Skip)

JanSport Covert BackpackWhen I was looking for a backpack for my midleschooler I asked her what did she need to fit in there and she listed:

one 15" 17" laptop;

two big two ring binders;

1-2 textbooks (the science and math books are really big);

pencil case;

snack box;

water bottle;

possibly PE clothes or any way a change but I begged her not to pretend to also fit the PE shoes in there.

I any way was a little skeptical I would ever be able to find any thing as big as she wanted it to be and when I was reading specifications of this backpack I was happy but, as I said before, also a little skeptical. Well, it arrived and since still in the box it really looked big, much bigger then it looked on the web.

It fits all!! I was very happy. Two weeks have passed only since my daughter is using it but she is telling me daily how much she likes it.

It has enough space for all she needs to fit in there.

It has many compartments;

Even the pockets are big enough and with enough separations to contain many different stuff.

Padded enough, the computer sleeve but also the back part (I probably would have preferred a bit more padding there but my daughter doesn't agree. She said more padding make the bag look more voluminous;

One of the things we like a lot is the way the straps in the back allow for it to be also hanged in hooks at school or elsewhere;

The color and design is really beautiful (blue + turquoise + black squares, like Scottish pattern);

It is so nice that she decided to take this as hand baggage in trips. I am really happy with this item.

I've been trying to replace my 11-year old mesh backpack made by Jansport. My mesh backpack was simply amazing and, thus, the reason why it has been with me for so many years. Sadly, it was now time to replace it so I started looking for a new mesh backpack. My old one had 2 compartments and the new one, that Jansport makes, only has 1 so it was a no-go.

When I saw this backpack I noticed it fitted more than my mesh backpack while still looking slick and it had a laptop compartment so I ordered it thru Amazon. It just arrived and I was eager to try it.

My first complain is that the backpack arrived with a cut on the side, so it was already damaged. I then proceeded to load it with what I would normally load it with: laptop, camera, lenses, and notebook. To my surprise the material of the backpack is super cheap, and not of good quality. Additionally, the strap on the top put a ton of pressure on your neck so that the weight of the stuff in your backpack doesn't rest on your shoulder but your neck.

That said, I'm returning this backpack ASAP.

:( Bad, bad Jansport.

Roomy, nice styling, and so far, sturdy. My husband packs it full with a water jug, lunch containers, etc. This is a workhorse.

Solar Bear Solar Powered Laptop Backpack

Solar Bear Solar Powered Laptop BackpackIt would have been GREAT if this product worked.. Unfortunately, I was sent a defective unit. I charged the battery pack to full via ac/usb cable, the LED1 light turned from red to green and still, it does NOT charge anything when flipped to 5.5v.. I tried charging my Ipod, cellphone, camera, tablet, nothing.... The good news? the LED2 flashlight works which is built into the battery unit.... Another thing which is VERY weird, when I plugged in my Droid Razr Maxx cellphone into the charging battery unit, my cell phone started freaking out and dialing numbers on its own like it was possessed. Very weird..

After modifications, this is a good solar backpack. Replace the battery and all attachments.:-). 3 stars.

update, the backpack is still holding up well but it chafes the back of my neck a little and one or two of the zippers has fallen off.

District Threads Canvas Field Bag

District Threads Canvas Field Bag, CharcoalIt's a pretty nice bag for a couple books and odds. The side pockets don't have much give to them so if you put large objects in they bulge quite a bit, which makes them essentially useless. So you basically have one main compartment.

Unfortunately it's a bit small bordering on purse-ish. I'm a grad-student in the sciences and I like to work with a clipboard, if it was slightly larger so I could fit my clipboard in it would be about perfect. This was my fault for not checking the size, though. District Threads offers a field-bag that would have fit my clipboard. If you work on smaller items like moleskines then this bag will be an okay size for you. I didn't take off any stars for the size issue, just be aware.

I should note this is not a real canvas bag, it's pretty flimsy cotton and I expect it will wear through pretty fast if you subject it to much. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a canvas bag.

My daughter is thrilled with her messenger bag. The dealer was excellent to work with and gave us excellent customer service.

This messenger bag is just what I was looking for when Im traveling, it has enough space to put what you need when you are fooling in the city.

I bought this bag 2 or 3 years ago to use as a purse. It's big enough to store tons of notebooks for school and has loads of hidden pockets for other random stuff. The compartment I use the most is actually the small zippered one on the back of it for my keys, wallet, and phone. It fades with use, of course, and it's just now getting holes in the back since I wear it everyday and it rubs against my leg. However, the back compartment has its own fabric so nothing is going to fall out through the frayed holes. The strap is quite long which I like and on me (5'6'') the top of the bag is between my waist and hip.

Almost all of the compartments are zippered except the one behind the front flap which is a little piece of velcro and of course the main compartment.

The canvas fabric holds paint and sharpie doodles very well!

Now that I'm done with college I'm looking for a smaller bag to use as a purse and will definitely look into this company again.
