UA Rush Backpack Bags by Under Armour

UA Rush Backpack Bags by Under Armour One Size Fits All BlackI got this for my first grader for the upcoming school year so I can't really rate it on durability yet, but I give it a five for how well it is made, the space it has and looks. It is plenty big enough for an adult but still not too big for my (tall) first grader. It has a laptop pocket but my son thinks it is for his folder and notebook. It doesn't have a padded bottom so I'm not sure how much weight it can hold.. I know older students carry lots of books so let me say that I would be afraid to put more than two of the big books (reading, science, etc.) in this bag but so far, this backpack looks great and meets all the needs of my first grader who doesn't carry much more than a folder and a small reading book or two. I will come back in a few months and revise my review to include a report on durability.

Edit 12/12/12: Okay, my son has used this backpack almost every day of the school year for close to five months and I have to say, I'm really impressed with it! He had heavier books than I expected this year and it has held them with no problem. The straps aren't coming loose and the threading is all still tight. I don't see any changes in it from when I first bought it at all, really. I would buy this bag again.

Just the size I needed !!! And Arrived on time !!! Very good for a christmas present !!!! For all ages !!!

Gregory Z35 Backpack

Gregory Z35 Backpack, Currant Red, LargeThis is my fifth Gregory pack, but one of my least favorite. I bought the Z35 to replace my 1992 Mountainsmith Bugaboo. That pack cost $235 when adjusted for inflation, and has been repurposed as a canyoneering pack. Thanks to the wonders of globalization and the outsourcing of labor and materials, the Z35 was half the cost. I've found it to be a relatively decent enough pack, but have (as always) some nitpicks that knock a few stars off my rating.

One issue is the curved nature of the pack bag. I recognize this is an inherent issue with any pack that creates an air space between your back and the load, but it is still an annoyance to load and unload. I didn't take a star off for this, as that's a relatively acceptable trade off for a cooler back.

My second complaint is the access zipper on the front that allows you to get to the upper portion of the pack bag. This has limited utility, as it's only slightly more convenient than simply going in from the top of the bag. Of course, a lower zipper would be preferable, but with the front stuff pocket, that's not going to happen.

Now, my two significant issues...

THE HIP BELT BUCKLE IS NOT USER-REPLACEABLE! When your hip buckle breaks (and it will at some point most likely at the most inopportune time), you cannot simply slide another one on. The buckle is sewn into place on both sides to facilitate the "ergo-pull" tightening system (you know, pulling straps towards your center, rather than away). I suppose it could be repaired in field if you bring a VERY heavy-duty needle and thread and some sort of stitching ripper, but expect your repair time to be measured in hours rather than seconds. This drawback isn't unique, my Osprey Kestrel 48 has the same problem, but it isn't unavoidable either, as my Gregory Palisade demonstrates.

Secondly, any sort of spine flexion will push the cross-bar of the "CrossFlo DTS" suspension into your lower back, particularly when the pack is loaded. This isn't painful, but isn't very comfortable either. Keeping your back straight and only bending at the hips will help somewhat, but it the weight of your load and gravity will conspire to push that damnable "X" into you.

So, in summary; the Z35 is an acceptable, but not great, pack for heavy dayhikes or light overnighters.

Allant 16-Inch ENERGY Computer Backpack (AL-1303-06F00)

Allant 16-Inch ENERGY Computer BackpackThis fully functional backpack is great for just about anything. I bought it when I re-enrolled for college. I had been planning on buying a new backpack for quite some time but returning to school provided me with the perfect opportunity to buy myself a good backpack to hold all my stuff. This backpack is perfect for a student of any age.

It easily holds my laptop, my textbook(s), my three ring binder, pens and/or pencils, a cell phone, a water bottle, and my mp3 player. Bottom line: I would recommend this backpack to anyone who is looking to purchase a bag that can hold a lot of stuff while still looking stylish and be comfortable.

Cocoon CPG10BK GRID-IT Organizer, 12 x 8 Inch, Black

Cocoon CPG10BK GRID-IT Organizer, 12 x 8 Inch, BlackI slip this thing in and out of my briefcase three to four times a day, sometimes its charger, my leatherman, a spare set of headphones for wife. All of a sudden all of my little extras have a home, and it has impacted my life in a significant way. My hair has gotten thicker, and more luscious since I bought his product, it is that good.

For a while I had a portable hard drive in the middle of it (2.5" 1TB), and it held in there day in and day out. It had to make way for things like scissors, and a mini-stapler. man i love that mini-stapler.

If you want to get organized, buy this product. At the very least you will look the part.

I'm a knitter and usually the first ten minutes of knit time is spent untangling balls of yarn from each other. Now I can slip the yarn project, needles, cable needles, pencils, instructions, and what-have-you into the cocoon. Now when I sit down to knit all I have to do is pull out the cocoon and I'm ready to start knitting. Yay!

After reading a review I wasn't sure if this thing was going to workout, but I threw the dice. I must say I am happy with my purchase. I put all stuff that was in the various pockets of my backpack in/on the Cocoon and it slides right in the notebook slot in the pack. Big question when originally ordering was what size to get. The 12x8 is a good size to start with.

This product is a very clever and useful item making organization simple and easy. Instead of having a pile of crap I have to sort through in my laptop case, I can now pull this out and take off what I need, instead of digging for gold everytime I need something. The size is perfect for my laptop bag, they have several sizes so be sure to measure and make sure of the size you need. My one piece of advice is make sure the items you put on here are TIGHT, it took me a while to realize the items have to be super tight or they get knocked off as you are taking the coccoon in and out of the bag. I was trying to be careful not to break the bands but don't worry they will take it, just get it tight!

If I wanted something for packing in a suitcase, this would be great. It's not so good for a backpack, since there is nothing to protect your items from contact with whatever else you've got in there.

Velo Men's Transit The Edge 30 Waterproof Messenger Bicycle Backpack

Velo Transit the Edge 30 Men?s waterproof messenger bicycle backpackI bought an Edge 30 three months ago and I absolutely love it.

First of all, it is 100% waterproof. I carry my laptop and iPad in it during my daily bicycle commutes in the Seattle rain, and haven't had a single drop of moisture in the main compartment. I also haven't had a drop of moisture in the front pockets, which aren't guaranteed to be 100% waterproof, but in my experience they basically are (especially with the storm shield down).

The pack is incredibly well made, very strong. Now that I'm used to it I throw it around without worrying about it I know it can take it.

Everything is very easy to use. The zippers are high quality and don't snag. The roll top is very well designed and takes only a couple of seconds to open or close.

The straps and harness are well balanced, I can carry a fair bit of weight and it's nicely distributed and doesn't fatigue my back. It also holds the pack a little bit off your back so sweat isn't an issue there's airflow between you and the load.

I got mine in all black with a yellow storm shield. With the storm shield stowed it just looks like a black backpack, and I'm happy to carry it around indoors.

Highly recommended if you need to commute in the rain, or just if you want a beautifully made backpack for daily use.

I came upon this bag unexpectedly and at the right time. I live in Seattle, and happened upon Velo Transit's inconspicuous industrial shop in the twilight of my Ortlieb, that was eating itself from the inside out. It's concept was simple, which I had liked, but the fit and attention to detail was simplistic. This is when I spied for the first time, the VT Edge 30, the antithesis of my now former bag.

As a daily cyclist, running errands between work and home, this pack has been my swiss arm knife. The pockets are so well laid out that I can reach several of them without removing the bag, such as those containing my wallet, keys and phone, all of which I'm often accessing. The outer top holds my spare gloves, U-lock and lashing straps with room to spare. This is the easiest pocket to reach when the bag is off, which is perfect for these items. The pocket in front of this is super clever in that it stashes my iPad beautifully and just as well, some nice analog books or a thin binder or note pad. I don't have to do open heart surgery on my bag in the cafe to get to a book. The main compartment is the perfect size for my food, clothes and other bulky items, that when distributed, go unnoticed on my back.

The hardware and stitchery on this beauty is top of the line. Monster YKK zippers do not get jammed and are easy to grab with gloved hands. In the four months i've owned this bag through a anything goes winter into a wet spring and with my not so gentle ways, it shows no weak point of construction. It's just well thought out and bomb proof, period.

And I can't leave this review without a word on ergonomics. This bag is bliss on the back with it's sculpted contour and shoulder straps that spread the load nicely and without digging in to your sides. I'd go as far as to say, it hugs you.

U.S. made, waterproof, comfortable and versatile, make the VT Edge 30 a keeper.

This bag conforms and hugs your back while still breathing (used in super humid southern Florida). I have Velo Transit panniers for my commuter that I am extremely happy with and needed something for when I'm on my road or mountain bike without racks so I can still carry things. The bright flourescent inside is great for visibility digging around in the bag. The great rolltop and zip down bright cover to keep things dry. There are plenty of pockets and a good one for your U-lock. There are even places to mount a taillights to the back. Another flawless design made in the states by Velo Transit, I love this company! I can't wait to use it in the snow when I'm back in Wisconsin.

I have the Edge 40 which, as implied, is 10 liters larger than this but otherwise identical. It's not listed on Amazon now for some reason but you can see it on their site. As a daily, year round bike commuter in Seattle, I spend a fair bit of time riding in the rain. I carry a laptop every day and have been through some downpours and never worry about a thing with this bag. I also do all of my grocery shopping by bike and can fit a cases of beer and food for dinner in the bag and not worry about it breaking and with all that weight, it's still comfortable. My previous bag was an ortlieb messanger which had lots of room but wasn't near as comfortable and I was always digging around the bottom for stuff. Love the ample pockets on this bag.

Timbuk2 OCD Packing Folder (Algae Green/Sorbet Green, Medium)

Timbuk2 OCD Packing FolderWorks just as expected and is a quality made product as I've come to expect from timbuk2. I fit a hoody and three or four t shirts for quick trips (medium sized)

This is a very slim shirt folder, just large enough for 1 pair of pants and 1 button up shirt. If you need to pack more than go with something larger. The construction is top notch and will last a lifetime, both Eagle Creek and Sea to Summit make similar products but I got this because it was the least expensive. Although this does not use ultralite Silnylon, the fabric is semi-rigid which is good for keeping your clothes wrinkle free. The zipped sides will not allow you to 'expand' like other brands with folded sides however the zipped sides give this folder more structure. Overall I'm very happy with it, it will easily slip into a messenger bag laptop sleeve designed for 15" laptops. Color is nice too, different than the standard black.

NEW Super Mario Brothers Bros Wii Large Backpack Bag

NEW Super Mario Brothers Bros Wii Large Backpack BagThe bad news is that the backpack developed a rip along the seam after light use. The good news is that I contacted the company that manufactured the backpack and they sent me a replacement bag (and an additional bag) in less than a week. The best news is that my email communications with the company representative were actually pleasurable. Responses were very prompt (matter of minutes) and the communication was friendly, professional, and helpful. I do not write reviews, but I wanted to let people know that the company, Accessory Innovations, has simply been fabulous to deal with.

I bought this backpack and the matching lunch bag for my son who started kindergarten this past Fall. It's cute and looks nice but after 2 days one of the lunch bag zippers was warped. Luckily, it has two so it was okay. Then after about 1 week of use, one of the backpack zippers did the same thing. Again, I thought, that's okay because it has two zippers. We continued to use it with the one functional zipper until the other one did the same thing. This makes the backpack useless. I contacted the company that makes the backpack. They were punctual in telling me to send them pictures of the broken zippers on both the backpack and lunch bag, as well as general pictures of the bags so they could send replacements. However, my son forgot the lunch bag at school over the weekend and I was not able to get the pictures until the following week. By then, the email addresses were invalid... I tried calling the phone numbers available.. and got nothing. It's like they know they're producing bad merchandise and have skipped town. Anyway, I'm out $30 and now my son is using my $185 North Face backpack... joy!

Wildkin Horses in Pink Serious Backpack

Wildkin Horses in Pink Serious BackpackThis would be great for a computer if my daughter had one... really big, lots of padding (I got her a smaller one too but she insists on using this one. The only thing I wish it had was thicker or more padding on the bottom (not just in the computer area), and padding in the bottom of the mesh area for drinks...

Time will tell the test on the durability, but I can't see anything that gives me concerns at this point. We had a smaller (Kindergarten) sized Wildkin back pack in the same print. That has been in use over a year (and through the washer) and it is holding up great so I am expecting the same from this backpack. I got this for when my daughter is a little older and out-grows the current backpack. I didn't want to miss out on being able to find this pink horse print down the road. It's darn cute. I have been very pleased with the Wildkin pink horse line, except for the rolling backpack that was defective. Other that that product, I recommend the line of backpacks and lunch bags/boxes.

ACU Digital Camouflage Recon Butt Pack (Army, Military, Police, & Security Type)

ACU Digital Camouflage Recon Butt Pack1. Vendor sent the product quick and advertised correct. Can't complain about the vendor.

2. I gave it a okay rating because it doesn't have any rings to attach to suspenders and dangles. Akward to carry on belt and suspenders. Plus not a lot of room in the top or side pouches. Side pouch held a pair of winter gloves. Also after a rain it stored moisture inside the bag. Don't really like it...

High Sierra Loop Backpack

High Sierra Loop Backpack, Green Pattern, 19x13.5x8.5-InchThe qualities I look for in a backpack are durability and usefulness (usually size, practicality, etc...). This pack meet all those expectations. It is a backpack that would be equally comfortable on a long 7-8 hour hike or a 10 minute walk to class. With adjustable bands essentially everywhere, it is easy to limit the 'bulkiness' of the pack itself.

The bag feels surprising large for the specified volume, but also weighs very little when empty. The cushioning all over the straps provides a soft touch. One thing that I didn't like is the feel/texture of the padding on the back. It feels like padding that has been covered up by a cheap plastic. Fortunately, the yoke shaped harness transfers most of the load on your shoulders and away from the back.

Durability wise, I cannot yet make a definite statement, but it seems to be extremely well built. The stitching looks to be good at every joint, and under heavy loads, there doesnt seem to be too big of an issue with the stitches stretching.

Overall, this was an excellent buy, and I plan on using it for years to come.

[Update 2010-10-28]

After about half a year, one of the shoulder straps started ripping apart at the seam, and the zipper to the front pocket had broken off. I think the high ratings for this backpack are based on early user experiences. I had initially rated the backpack 5 stars myself, but I'm downgrading the rating to 3 stars because this backpack isn't very durable. I've had JanSport backpacks that have held up to *years* of heavy use. If you're looking for something more durable, you might want to spend a little more to get a JanSport or a North Face backpack (both of which are renowned for their quality and durability).

-Original review follows --

The backpack is perfect for school or for outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. It has plenty of pockets for putting your stuff in:

Compartments

------------

2 Side Pockets

Each of the two side pockets has an elastic band and see-through mesh netting. Each pocket is an ideal place for putting a water bottle, a pair of hiking poles, or even a tripod. I use one of the pockets for a camera tripod and the other for a water bottle when I'm out shooting.

3 zippered compartments

There are 3 other zippered compartments besides the main zippered compartment.

o The largest of the compartments (located in front of the backpack) has lots of pockets for putting your calculator, cell phone, stationery, etc. It has plenty of room; it will fit 3 or 4 small paperback books, just to give you a rough idea of its size. There's a hook for attaching your keychain too.

o The topmost compartment has an opening for threading the wire of a pair of headphones/earphones through so you can listen to music while the MP3 player is safely stowed away in the compartment.

Size

----

The High Sierra site lists the size as follows:

Size: 19.5" x 14.5" x 8.250"

Capacity: 1949 cubic inches

It's a bit bigger than the smallest backpacks but not too big. Personally, the size of this backpack suits me *perfectly*. I wanted a backpack with plenty of room to carry the essentials but not one that is over-sized and clumsy.

Straps

------

Shoulder Straps

The shoulder straps are very comfortable even with a heavy/fully-loaded backpack. It has an elastic pocket for putting your cell phone so you always have your cell phone within easy reach.

Bottom Straps

The bottom of the backpack has a pair of straps for strapping on additional equipment you need to bring along.

Side straps

The side straps work in tandem with the side pockets to keep your stuff safely secured.

Quality

-------

The quality of this backpack is top-notch. The stitching and the materials used are very high quality. The insides are lined with nylon (makes backpack water-resistant).

---

I absolutely love the High Sierra Loop Backpack. It is just the right size for me, it has plenty of pockets, and its quality is superb. If you're looking for a medium-sized backpack, this one is definitely worth consideration.

Buy High Sierra Loop Backpack Now

This backpack is great. After my old Jansport backpack, I wanted something that supported my back a little more. At first, I wasn't used to the middle section of the straps digging into my neck, but I realize that it's there to take some weight off your shoulders and transfer to the back, and now I appreciate it because my shoulders feel so much better! The shoulder straps also have a nice suspension system and are cushioned very well, which makes carrying heavy books less of a burden.

I'm a small person, so I wanted a backpack that wasn't so big, and this was a perfect fit. It's not a huge bag, but it fits a lot more than you'd expect. Also, the City Map/Ash color is very urban and unique.

Read Best Reviews of High Sierra Loop Backpack Here

My current backpack of choice is a High Sierra single strap backpack. I got this one since I thought it would be the same as my other backpack, but have two straps. There are a couple things that sadly are not the same. The main compartment doesn't have a padded divider. Since I use my backpack mostly to carry around my laptop, a padded divider would have been a HUGE plus. The second thing is that the compartment meant for your iPod (or other mp3 player of your choice) is the same plasticy fabric that lines rest of the backpack. In my single strap High Sierra, it had soft fabric for that compartment which definitely prevented scratching. The yolk at the top between the two straps is uncomfortable. I can feel it pressing against my back. Maybe I just haven't adjusted it correctly yet. Those things aside, it still has the same high quality construction and has plenty of room. Maybe once I break it in a bit more I'll be happier with it.

Update: Yeah, this backpack blows. I have tried adjusting the straps in various ways, but that yoke piece is still bothersome. If you look at the picture of the mannequin from the back, you can see exactly what I'm talking about. Either the backpack has a gap between it and your back or that yoke is pressing into your neck. Personally, I want a backpack to sit flush on my back so if you need to bust out a sprint to catch the bus, the backpack isn't bouncing around smacking the crap out of you. It also helps defuse the weight more evenly. Even though the single strap High Sierra backpack tends to fatigue my shoulder if I wear it for too long, it's still infinitely more comfortable than this one. Gave it to my nephew to play with. He uses it to "play school".

Want High Sierra Loop Backpack Discount?

I've used this bag twice a week for school for the past 8 months, and every single one of the cloth zipper pulls have unraveled/shredded. The more the pulls unravel, the more they are caught in the zippers. So I've had to cut them all of them off. The seams of the backpack are also coming unraveled such that 2-inch-long threads are hanging loose at seams all over the bag. Now I'm on Amazon shopping for a better quality backpack.

UPDATE: High Sierra has a 100% satisfaction guarantee for their products. The claim was very easy to file and quickly processed. While they don't offer refunds, they did replace the bag and send a $10 rebate for future purchases. While this new bag does not seem to be of significantly different quality than the old one, HS should be commended for great customer service.

Gregory Mountain Products Z 65 Backpack

Gregory Mountain Products Z 65 Backpack, Sonora Gold, SmallI recently did some comparison shopping for a backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon. I am not a highly experienced hiker, so I relied on a lot of magazine reviews and online articles. I looked at several options, including much more expensive bags from other manufacturers. The main reasons that I chose the Gregory Z65 were a good blend of capacity (65l), weight (just over 4 pounds unpacked) and options. I love the suspension system and certain things like hiking pole areas, a rain cover that allows storage and multiple access points.

I recently loaded her up with 25 pounds of equipment and did a 10 mile hike close to home. I made quite a few adjustments to the waist belt and shoulder straps, but once everything was adjusted the pack was very comfortable.

The compression straps really help to keep your gear from moving around and the shape of the pack really works when going through small areas like caves. The padding on the straps is sturdy while also being comfortable.

I did a month worth of research before purchasing this one. I looked at Deuters, Acer'ytyx (or something like that) and North Face and found this to be the best blend of what I am seeking. I don't expect to be using this pack every weekend, so for a two or three times a year this is perfect for me.

For someone who does more outside, I would recommend the Gregory Baltoro in a similar size. I really liked the Baltoro, but couldn't justify the additional $100-$150 for that upgrade. However, most of my research indicates that it is money well spent.

The reasons I chose the Z65 versus the Baltoro were cost (about 2/3 of the cost of the Baltoro with similar options) and weight and capacity. I could have bought a larger pack, but then you have the associated increase in weight.

BTWI was able to purchase my Z65 from an online auction site, brand-new in the bag with the $230 retail tags still on it, for $120....I would have been in for $250-$300 for a similar Baltoro...

I used this for a 4 day Virginia section hike of the A/T and had no mechanical issues with it.

The material, seams, and connections are very solid. The is an extremely well made pack I expect to eventually pass down to my son.

The lack of a rain cover was not surprising, but still a little disappointing to have to make an additional purchase for such a simple item.

The lack of zippered pockets for small items was a problem. No safe place to put keys, wallet, phone, etc. Though there is a hanging clip for a key, it did not work for my type of key, so had to have a friend stow my valuables.

The side pouch, where I kept my Nalgene was too far back for me. I could barely get the anything out of the pocket and had to have a friend put it back in place.

The zippered pouches in the front waist strap were just right for a small camera and sunglasses.

Even with the minor issues, it is clear that this pack is a cut above the store brand packs, so was well worth the small extra cost.

One other note on this pack: It was cheaper in blue than in the other colors, which I assume is because the blue does not look as good in the pictures. I felt the same way about the color, though bought it anyway. In reality, the blue looks fine.

I bought this pack for a once-in-a-lifetime hike/camp across the Grand Canyon and it worked beautifully. It held everything I needed for the 4 day trip. Food, cloths, tent, sleeping bag and all the hiking/camping accessories one would require. I tried many different packs and found this one to be very price competitive, durable and comfortable (as 50 pounds on your back could be :) It was easy to wear and remove at the end of the day. I'm 6'1" and choose the medium size, because it was on sale, held what I needed and I'm at the upper limit of its recomended torso size. If you're an avid hiker/camper I highly recommend it.

Have taken this on a couple of trips, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. Found out about it from a backpacking blog site and bought it last year. I've tried several backpacking packs and none of them have been as comfortable and rugged as this one, plus the gold color looks really unique and cool. People will think you know what you're doing when they see you rocking the gold color, even if you've never backpacked before.

Brenthaven 2133 ProStyle Lite Backpack for 15-Inch MacBooks /Laptop / Ultrabook - Black

Brenthaven 2133 ProStyle Lite Backpack for 15-Inch MacBooks /Laptop / Ultrabook - BlackI love a lot about this bag. The layout is great. The quality of construction is top-notch. The weight, style, and format were perfect for me. But, unfortunately, this is one terrible backpack. The key flaw is that the shoulder straps are sewn on several inches below the top of the bag along a *horizontal* seam. Picture a person's shoulders and you'll realize, shoulders are not horizontal.

The end result is that the straps have to twist to accommodate the anatomical shape of the wearer's shoulders, and as a result, they displace nearly all the weight of the pack along just the inside edges of the straps. This intense stress concentration on one's shoulders and neck muscles is quite painful, especially if you have 10 lbs (5 kg) of laptop, iPad, chargers, and books in the bag. I wore the bag around for a week while on a trip and it was so painful that I nearly exchanged it for another bag while still on my trip. If you never walk more than 100 paces before you set the bag down, you'll love it. But if you have to walk more than a minute or two with this bag on, it's going to become a torture device, and some massage therapist is going to love you.

To my friends a Brenthaven (a company I truly like): Please seek out outdoor equipment designers in Seattle who really know backpacks (I'm thinking REI, MSR, OR, etc..) to help your luggage designers learn to make proper backpacks. There's lots of knowledge in the industry about how to design packs that displace load well. You'll have to put as much focus on weight displacement as you do on those wonderful fuzzy pockets that protect our iThings if you want to make truly great backpacks.

I travel a great deal and need to carry a bit more than the minimum. My standard setup is a carry-on roller bag with a backpack hung onto it, piggy-back style. On the plane, the backpack lives under the seat in front of me, and serves as an excursion bag once I am on site. The Brenthaven 2133 ProStyle Lite is just right for me. It balances nicely on the roller bag and holds my Dell Latitude E6400 easily in a separate compartment. There's an ample center space for files and reading material, and a front section that I use for my Cocoon CPG10BK GRID-IT Organizer, 12 x 8 Inch, Black and all miscellaneous cables, adapters, headphones, etc. The little zip pocket in front is fine for a small amount of quickly stashed flat stuff, like tickets and magazines, so long as they are not quite full-size.

This backpack is slim and does not feel bulky on the back. It fits my mba or 15 mbp just fine. There is a special compartment for a tablet which I use for my ipad. It also fits all the other odds and ends I tend to travel with just fine (mag safe charger, ipad charger, pens, business cards, 3 port power adapter, universal power adapter, mifi) and there is still a lot of room to spare. Everything is organized nicely and items are very easy to get to. I was using a messenger bag for a long time, but switched back to a backpack and am glad I did. This backpack is extremely comfortable and feels sturdy on the back. I could even fit an some spare clothing or a sweatshirt in this no problem. The foldaway water bottle holder is nice touch as well.

Great bag, spacious and sleek design.

Not for people who like carrying all of their belongings with them.

The bag feels comfortable and fits my macbook perfectly!!

If you travel for extended times and you need to carry a lot of gadgets, folders, and so forth, this is a great backpack to do this. I have used it in several trips and I can store in the over head compartments of the smaller airplanes with no issues. It is very well built and the straps are very comfortable to wear.

MAXXON 40L Wild Waves Backpack

MAXXON 40L Wild Waves BackpackI have just received this bag today. Because there were no other reviews for me to consider as I considered this purchase, I will be the first to indicate that this bag looks to be substantially made and should serve it's intended purpose of acting as a day pack for my canoeing activity.

I have posted several photos in the " customer photos ".

This Bag weighs in at approximately 34 ounces ( 2 lb, 2 oz ). The capacity of the bag appears to be about 40 Liters, as I compare it to other bags I own. Photos show dimensions of the loaded bag.

There is a substantial, padded, adjustable shoulder strap system with an adjustable sternum strap.

The roll top bag ( 3 folds ) is nicely captured with two compression side straps.

As with most dry bags, ( my opinion, and others ) a bag of this sort will NOT keep contents dry in the event of full immersion. The roll top seal is not designed for prolonged immersion. I would however expect that heavy rain and canoe splash and slosh will be tolerated quite satisfactorily by this bag.

Case Logic 17" Laptop and Projector Roller

Case Logic ZLRP-117 Rolling Projector Case with 17-Inch Laptop StorageMy projector would not fit!!!

From the Case Logic Site "holds portable projectors up to 11.5 x 10 x 4.5 inches".

My projector is a bit under 4.5 inches high and it was impossible to zip the case.

Fits everything, but more importantly fits a 17" laptop with no problem. Also allows me to carry a second laptop and my iPad. Or enough clothing for a night or two.

Had a damaged zipper when I received the case. I contacted Amazon, They told me to contact the manufacturer. I was very surprised when they contacted the manufacturer for me. I received all the instructions and forms, took some pictures, emailed them in with my form, and within week I had a replacement case.

This speaks highly of Amazon and Case Logic.

If you are wanting a large, heavy monster to take with you... by all means get this. But seriously, there is absolutely NO extra room for anything. I searched everywhere looking for something that I can pack my 17" laptop and cords in and still have a little room for a few small toys for my toddler to take with me on my flight. I was excited to see the fedex truck pull up and give me my package. As soon as I opened it, I realized that this is NOT what I was expecting. I even watched the video again just too see if maybe I was mistaking. But sadly, no. The video is misleading. You do not have the removable case and there is hardly any room for the extras. I can guarantee that after you get your laptop, cords, and what little bit you can fit in, the weight of this thing will be too much of a hassle to deal with for a simple carry on. There is not a whole lot of padding. So don't waste your money. This is going to be returned asap.

This is a great product but not the one in the video and pics. I am enjoying it but do wish it had the pullout inserts.

I bought this case for my new business. I will be traveling around to different locations using this case a mobile office. I wanted something to be able to put my larger laptop, files , projector when needed, and my mobile HP printer. You would need the smallest projector in the world(maybe the one you hook onto an iphone) to fit in this bag. You need something less than 3.5 inches in height. I have my laptop and files in bag and barely have room for my mobile printer. The pull handle is basically in the projector compartment with thin fabric cover over the handle taking up a lot of space where your projector should go. Once everything is loaded, it really stretches our the zippers. I am afraid that after a few months the zippers will fail.

I would also not look at this bag for a overnight trip. There is just not enough room unless you are only packing small grooming bag and some flip flops, but they would only fit if you were not taking a projector or printer. There is just not enough room for everything I need in mobile office.

I wish I had purchased on Amazon....... but I did not..... when will I learn.

Child Rolling School Bag Wight Wheeled School Shoulder Bag Kids's Rolling Backpack

School Kid Size Rolling Backpack School Wheels Book Bag Shoulder BackpacksI love this backpack. As a parent of a boy, I can truly say that it is durable. I have purchased others and they were ruined in less then 6 months. This backpack detaches from the rolling cart. There is a name tag attached, it glows in the dark, lots of storage compartments. Since the backpack detaches, my son can take it into class plus he does not have to worry about the bottom of the backpack rubbing against the ground and tearing apart. Overall, I would highly recommend this and I will be purchasing another one in the future.
