MAXXON 40L Wild Waves Backpack

MAXXON 40L Wild Waves BackpackI have just received this bag today. Because there were no other reviews for me to consider as I considered this purchase, I will be the first to indicate that this bag looks to be substantially made and should serve it's intended purpose of acting as a day pack for my canoeing activity.

I have posted several photos in the " customer photos ".

This Bag weighs in at approximately 34 ounces ( 2 lb, 2 oz ). The capacity of the bag appears to be about 40 Liters, as I compare it to other bags I own. Photos show dimensions of the loaded bag.

There is a substantial, padded, adjustable shoulder strap system with an adjustable sternum strap.

The roll top bag ( 3 folds ) is nicely captured with two compression side straps.

As with most dry bags, ( my opinion, and others ) a bag of this sort will NOT keep contents dry in the event of full immersion. The roll top seal is not designed for prolonged immersion. I would however expect that heavy rain and canoe splash and slosh will be tolerated quite satisfactorily by this bag.
