This backpack is what I was looking for 100%. I looked for a spacious backpack that would help me out in college.

I was a bit concerned when I read the reviews on this product, though. I read that the material felt cheap and that the zippers were not the best. When I received the product, I had absolutely no complaints from the look of it. I felt the material and it was good. Definitely not what I had read the in the reviews. I received this product before the estimated delivery date, as well,

which was an added bonus.

Overall, I recommend this product! I took the risk and bought it because I loved the design and it was very colorful and I do not regret my decision of buying this product.

My daughter just loves this backpack!! It seems beautifully constructed with a lot of room for all her necessities. It's very colorful and the best part is that her friends DON'T have one just like it. I recommend this backpack to any female that has a lot to carry!!

I am a college student. I carry my laptop around with me and a few folders and notebooks.

When I used the backpack for the first time, it was very uncomfortable and stiff and hurt my back a ton! But now, a couple weeks later, its a lot better, and I like it a lot. I don't think I would recommend this for a very small, and thin person. The shoulder sit kind of wide on the shoulders. I guess, I dont have the most broad of shoulders either.

I like the color. I was afraid it would be too blue for me, but I barely even think about it, and you don't see many people with a backpack like mine on campus.

I like the laptop compartment, it seems to be fine for my laptop. The pockets are all nice. I can fit my Camelbak water bottle in the side holders. The one thing I don't like is that there is a small pocket zip for inbetween the larger compartment zips, and it is not soft lined. It's like a plastic-y material. But, I do love the pocket, because a lot of my small things can go in it. Like, my pocket book, chapstick, headphones, phone... etc.

Good backpack, it seems very sturdy! It took forever to be shipped to me though!

Such a cute backpack! The bright colors and cheerful floral print really caught my eye. I love this backpack just because it looks so adorable, and I'm pleasantly surprised that it is very functional as well. I like the zippered compartments which keep my things separated and organized. I love the convenient external key rings and pouches for water bottles. The inner pockets are great for small items. The padded straps are comfortable, even when the backpack is fully loaded. There is a sleeve that protects important papers from getting bent or crumpled. I enjoy taking this backpack with me everywhere. The fabric looks very durable, so we will happily be going places together for a long time to come.

In looking for a replacement for my last Eagle Creek computer/paper bag, I looked at the upscale options (Tumi and friends). While there were both highly functional and elegant products available, they did not meet one strict requirement: that it be possible to carry the bag as a backpack, comfortably. The Eagle Creek has padded curved straps which allow it to be comfortably carried for hours on hikes, and then tucked in the back and the bag becomes appropriate for the most serious meetings I attend. While I only have a few months of experience with this sack, I have decades of experience with other Eagle Creek products; hope and expect this one to hold up as well. No need to repeat the standard features; I'll note that the combination of large and small pockets, some zipped and some open, provides a flexible system to allow a customization of 'assignments' for tech gear, human interfaces (glasses, earplugs, aspirin, etc.), passports, pens, cards...

It works, it is elegant, and it is well made.

I purchased two of these backpacks for this past school year and they held up fairly well. The wheels seemed more rugged than others we had in the past and was my fav feature of this backpack. However, by the end of the school year holes had warn through the material at the bottom edges and are now unusable because the stuff falls out of the holes (obviously). We had some wheeled JSport backpacks before that actually lasted 2 school years! Wish all had that high of a quality!

Handy and great. I take it with me whereever I go. I just love it. Fills in many items!! Wheels are good.

Arc'teryx Arrakis 40 Backpack

Hi guys, many websites advertise this bag as "waterproof" or even "submergeable" but it is not. Go to the arcteryx website and you'll find that they only call it "water tight".

The two exterior pockets floods when exposed to rain. I've lots my iphone doing the appalachian trail, quite a surprise given the cost of this item. I spoke with Arcteryx and they said though it is not a waterproof or submergeable bag it should resist rain. I went to my kitchen sink to retest it and hit it with a spray of water. Again, the top pocket flooded. So it's not only waterproof, it's not even water tight.

The main compartment however keeps things dry, but you'll need to protect your valuables in an additional layer of plastic if you keep them in the zippered pockets.

Arcteyx is making things cheaper and cheaper as they become bigger and it shows. What a waste of $ and an iphone and of course arc'teryx could care less about making it right. They said to spend more money by sending it in so they can "look at it" which is complete BS.

Dakine 20-Litre Sophia Pack

I got this in bird love as my backpack k for high school. It is bigger than you'd expect but not too big. The background is actually not the beige color it appears to be in the image, it is actually a light gray. When the bag has nothing in it it is quite floppy but it looks great with somethig like a binder in to support it. It wouldn't be great on the rain as the fabric is thn and the water would soak through. But it does have lots of pockets and pencil storage too. All in all it's not the most convenient but if you are looking more for something pretty, this is the bag for you.

Fi Hi Pimp'N Backpack

First impressions LOVED IT. Indeed, it was "pimpin" with its leather material and gold trimmings I've got this a month ago and I STILL get people oggling my bag!

Build quality: The bag itself is relatively robust. The straps have yet to be damaged, although the strap at the top appears a little flimsy. The speaker covers and zipper decorations however are very flimsy. Within 2 weeks, one of the speaker covers broke off, and I'm now in the process of putting it back on with fabric glue.

Sound quality: Pretty decent. Volume wise, it is pretty loud certainly loud enough if you want to start a cypher outside! However, at max volume the music starts to distort best performance around 80% volume. Mids and highs are brilliant, but bass is lacking (which is such a shame since I love playing breakbeats/Hip Hop/R&B).

Functionality: The bag is LARGE. I can easily fit my gym equipment in there + books. The bag is somewhat heavy however, which doesn't bother me but may bother some other users.

All in all, this is an excellent bag which I would recommend to people who want to bring the party to them!

Bought this backpack few months back, Now this new school year I looking to buy another one, Different style though. But most definitely this backpack is awesome I often get comments on it, Not just on the speakers but on how it look generally I got the Black/Gold Combination and absolutely loved it, Decent leather like material but tears & scratches somewhat easily though it alright, Straps are quite strong, I had alot of weight on it and it withstood my whole school year, Sound wise it's alright not the best you'll hear but once again it's a backpack with 2 small speakers & battery powered so don't expect a stereo like sound, It has quite good sound good highs & mid but lacking on the lows side as in bass, as the volume rises the sound starts to distort so it might not be a good idea to put it on full blast if you can you might be able to get better sound buying a small equalizer/amp but that's a little too much hazzle. Overall this backpack is worth the price, You'll get a lot of attention and compliments since it's not very often seen someone blasting music through school halls like I do. You should totally buy this item.

Good sturdy backpack. Very cool looking, it even has a design on the inside, it is a little big for a normal backpack, but im 5'9 and i have no problem with it. I got the black and gold one and it looks great. Anyways the speakers are weak, with no bass. I would say its equivelant to small computer speakers. If you are looking for good speakers check out hi-fi's 10 watt speaker backpack. This is only 3 watts.

The backpack is very nice and well made, the only issues I have with it are that even though it is designed for a 17 inch laptop, my 17.3 wide screen is still just a tad larger than the compartment. it still fits but the velcro strap doesn't exactly work.

But it has pockets for everything you could imagine. I use it all the time.

I had to purchase a new backpack so I could do some air traveling last month and I couldn't have made a better choice. This backpack has style, comfort, ease, and reliability all in 1 package. The main compartment for laptops is quite large and offers well put together protection. My laptop is a DV7 HP Pavillion with the big 17.3" display and it was a tight fit, however the laptop does fit snuggly and comfortably inside but you cannot use the velcro strap built in.

All of the compartments are conveniently put together so there is no hassling and trying to find your stuff, everything is easy to access.

It fits perfectly beneath the seats on an airplane so there's no need to stow it above you and having to keep an eye on the bag, it's also quite comfortable on your back. The padding was put together very nicely. The construction feels very nice and seems well put together. There are a few loose seams here and there (and I really mean only a few) but they are not in any spots I'd deem worthy of causing the pack to fall apart, it is a sturdy backpack.

Overall I highly recommend this backpack, there's really no better deal for the quality and price. Like I said though it says it's built for 17" laptops but it will be a tight fight but completely manageable and nothing to fret over.

12/3/2012 Just wanted to update. I still currently use this backpack when I take my laptop anywhere and the construction has held up very nicely over time. No rips or tears at any of the seams. Definitely worth the money.

I buy these for my company for laptops that have come back in, been cleaned up and need to be re-assigned to a new employee or someone else. Nobody wants a used backpack-it just adds to the ick factor of getting an electronic device that someone else has used. this backpack is very comfortable on your back and has just enough internal organization. I love the outside stretch pocket it comes in handy all the time to put a wet jacket in or some dirty shoes. the shoulder straps are very comfortable and the pack seems to be well made. the only bad thing I've found is that the bottom of the pack seems be a little to thin to hold a lot of weight. other than that i love it

I used this pack for a 3-week journey through Southeast Asia. I loaded it to the max every day and beat the heck out of it. It head together perfectly. I took advantage of the hydration pack opening and inserted the hydration pack from a different pack. Worked great! Used this product to lock up a camera bag while traveling in Asia. I suppose someone could cut the cables with the right tools, but it was a handy way to secure valuables in my guest houses and felt somewhat more comfortable than just leaving them unsecured. Maids don't seem to carry cable cutters.

Convenient to use but it has one major flaw. The apetures are just too big to keep all but the biggest items from getting taken out of the bag. You either have to have another big bag inside your outer shell with your wallet and smaller items inside or you have to get a little padlock to put on your exterior zippers IF you have a bag with a two zipper pouch. With one pouch it just doesn't work. I will continue to use it until the next version comes along.

I was concerned that this case would not fit my 17.3" HP laptop, but my worries went unfulfilled when my case arrived in the mail. My laptop fits perfectly inside, but with no room to spare. If you are looking for a case in which you can also store a charger, mouse, etc., then this case is not for you. It is only a sleeve, and only fits the computer, so buyer beware! It is not extremely thick, but does offer some padding all around, and for the price I paid I was pleased at how sturdy it is. I'm not the type of person to haul my laptop with me everywhere I go, but I assume someone who is a bit rougher and carries their computer with them quite often may consider a stronger case.

I bought this bag its good quality sturdy, except for the shoulder strap, it broke within 2/3 weeks of carrying round.

This one is more stylish than most, but the quality is so bad that I had to choose function over form and return it. Stitching was all over the place, the material looked "dingy" already when it arrived, and there is virtually NO PADDING or protection of any kind (other than the most superficial surface scratches, maybe) for a computer. Classic case of 'you get what you pay for.'

This 11.6 inch case is the perfect size for the new Dell Inspiron Duo.

The Duo has a 10.1 viewable screen, but the double, hinged frame makes it far larger than what a standard 10.1 netbook case or sleeve will hold.

Also, this case is thicker than neoprene sleeves, but not quite the thickness of the standard "padded" cases.

I'm not sure why some reviewers have declared that the stitching is bad. It seems fine to me. I tried looking closely at it, but I don't have sharp enough eyes to see anything out of order.

This case also came with a cushion insert that's come in handy for protecting my tablet and keyboard. (The insert was part of the packaging for shipment, I believe.) I also love the design and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. At this price, it's not meant to perfectly protect anything placed inside of it. However, if you have room and you keep the cushion that came with it for shipping, you can make this work rather well at keeping a tablet or tiny laptop safe from falls.

Dakine 25-Litre Team Mission Pack

This is a very comfortable bag!

I can fit my 15.6' laptop and my D-SLR camera in it with all the accessories for both!

I had few thoughts about this bag(which color to pick), I bought the Tanner Hall design

and it's very good looking one, Don't regret this pick at all!

My other Dakine bag (interval model) is now 4 years old and still functioning like new.

I hope this one will do as well... Dakine used quality materials and it feels great.

This Mission backpack is just like any other mission backpack but with a much cooler design! I really like it. Suprisingly TONS of storage space if needed, and if not the backpack doesnt look like a giant sag bag. the back straps work great for skateboards snowboards and even my skis can be carried on the back. goggle pocket doubles as a safe place to put your wallet when walking in large areas with the bag. great quality and construction.

Tumi 026173 Alpha Compact Laptop Brief Pack

I've owned this backpack for a year now and have taken numerous domestic & international trips with it. Most of my flights are Seattle/Jakarta. It literally swallows everything I put in it. There are compartments everywhere for everything. My 15 inch lap top fits easily into the padded laptop slot. I'm gone for months at a time and usually carry this bag for my electronics and consulting materials and have a carry-on for clothing. However, I've taken week-long trips with only this bag. I'm surprised about how much can fit into it despite being called 'compact'. I like the way it stands up on its base always no tipping over. I usually keep it at my feet on flights to have my stuff handy. The main hatch stays open like a file cabinet.

This backpack is a little heavier than previous backpacks I've owned but it's also much sturdier. And, yes, it is more expensive but I know it will last many years. It has shown no signs of wear despite my heavy usage. The zippers are strong and easy to pull. Nothing has caught in them or snagged.

I regularly walk from my office to my hotel carrying this bag sometimes fully loaded and sometimes not and have noticed no ergonomic issues. It comfortably fits my 5' 11" (160#) frame. Last month I had to walk a mile in a torrential rain in Jakarta. I used an umbrella but was still soaked after the 20 minute walk. Everything in the bag was dry. I'm not saying it's water proof but it is definitely water resistant. My shirt sure wasn't. Just don't go scuba diving with it or leave it in the pouring rain.

It won't make you more handsome or increase your day rate but it will make your travels easier. Remember what Bob said: The highway is for gamblers, better use your sense. Take what you have gathered from coincidence. Consider this something 'gathered from coincidence' and get this bag.

This pack is definitely not large. I am a lifelong CFO and like to travel with the entire contents of a well stocked office in my bag with a pack typically weighing in at > 40lbs. This doesn't do it. That said, with a touch of organization and a concession to only 1 spare everything, and just 1 laptop + 2 tablets and a single writing pad this bag works. I travelled throughout Europe for two weeks and never really longed for my old pack until I bought a few things and started to fill the pockets of my jacket to avoid putting my checked bag over 50lbs. It looks trim on my back, an improvement from the college stuffed swiss knife number I used to weild. There is a larger sized one around worth considering (I'm a 5'11" size 44) but I'm not going out to buy a bigger one...,just learning to work without spares and a big notebook...but I guess it is the 21st century.

However, after 2 months the burgundy leather fanny pack's color had worn off and what was left were white streaks throughout the outside of the pack. Not a great product.

For the price, it's well constructed. But there's a serious design flaw. This bag is made to carry larger laptops. Larger laptops add weight. The hoops that hold the bag's straps ALWAYS turn. Making the bag a bit awkward and uncomfortable to use with a heavier load. It also causes wrinkling, which isn't cute.

Also the flap's front pocket... what were they thinking? What am I suppose to put in there? Everything I stick in it (mp3, cell phone, comb, sticky notes, etc.) slides up towards the handle when I lay my bag down, but the items do not slide back down when the bag is vertical. So, now you've got items tucked up towards the top zipper tab. Strange design thinking there, as the bottom of that compartment actually has a wedge of fabric, implying the compartment's use as a vertical pocket, not horizontal.

A plus for the matching flashdrive cover and key hook thing-a-mah-bob as well. Theres also an added pocket on the back of the bag, really great for folders and sheets of paper you don't want crushed. The bag's dividers are alright for schedulers and the like (nothing bulky). The front pockets will NOT hold a laptop charger comfortably. Not a PC sized one, at least(the largest front pocket is about the size of an average 1/2 fold wallet).

I bought the dark brown. It's not as reddish as the photos seem to show. It's more like the color of a milk chocolate Hershey's bar. The straps are charcoal grey, and are adjustable on either side of the shoulder pad. And I've never had a problem with the adjustments slipping, they hold tightly, even with a ton of weight.

I bought this bag for my husband for his Dell laptop. It is great! It holds the computer and so much more. There are plenty of compartments for his work items. I also like that the inside is a different color so that it is easier to find things. Also, it is so much cheaper here than at the Dell store!

two major problems:

1. after less than 6 months, one of the clips you use to fasten the front flap pulled right out of the fabric, and this bag was not put thru heavy use

2. the shoulder strap is junk. if you put even a few books in the bag, it's enough weight to consistent pull the strap to its greatest length, because the adjustable apparatus is so cheaply made it won't hold. therefore, the bag is always down around your knees. looks pretty stupid, and very cumbersom.

it looks nice when you get it, has nice pockets, etc, but the two problems i describe above render it uselss. do not buy this product.

The biggest issue I have with this bag is the strap. It CONSTANTLY kinks and twists. Especially where it's connected to the bag. The metal holder twists and gets all kinked. I've had this bag for 1 month now and I hate it.

I've had this bag for a year now and it still impresses me with it's durability! I'm a student so I pack an incredible amount of books all over the city and any other bag would start to show wear from the load but this one is still good as new. Also the pockets are very handy. My only complaint is that the fabric tends to stain easily, but this could probably be avoided with some staingard.

I love this bag it is sturdy and holds a lot in a compact space. There is a padded inner compartment for your laptop with plenty of extra room for files or books. The fabric is good quality. I don't know why they call the color purple mash as you can see from the picture it is really quite pink. I also don't know why they call it a backpack when it is clearly a messenger bag. Other than these quibbles with the copy writer, I highly recommend this bag.

I'm a Junior in College, I've seen a lot of backpacks in my life time. I've had one that broke the first day of high school, ones that I had to sew back together and some that barely lasted through the school year.

So last year when my Mother asked me what I wanted for Christmas I told her I wanted a back pack. She and I went online searching for one with the best ratings that was a messenger bag and then I left it up to her to pick one. This is the one she picked-and can I just say: She couldn't have made a better choice!

This bag has lasted like a dream for an entire year of very heavy college wear. It has withstood over five textbooks at a time, plus a waterbottle on the side (love that!). The back has a nicely padded section that I deeply appreciate so I don't have my massive textbooks slapping me in the leg every time I walk. The shoulder guard on the arm of the bag is also very nice, spreading out the disgusting amount of weight I allow to be held in my bag over my shoulder so I don't get a highly attractive red mark on my shoulder like I've gotten from previous bags. The compartment for a laptop is nice, though I didn't have a lap top until recently, it served nicely for protecting my more fragile books-keeping them in a place all their own. It is very well organized and extremely durable. Though I've had it for a year it shows no sign of damage or wear (and I'm not exactly all that gentle with it). Jansport made this bag for a college student. It is capable to carry just about however much you need (and I carry a lot). You can slap it around, drop it, trip over it (no comment) and it'll still look great! I would reccomend this to anyone and EVERYONE who needs a bag for work, school or anything else.

I can easily fit my laptop as well as several books in this bag, but if I carry more than one textbook along with my laptop, it is painful to carry the bag. Regardless if I position the bag across my body or on just one shoulder, it does not seem to distribute weight well or offer sufficient support. If you don't have a lot to carry I would recommend this bag. Easy to organize the supplies that I need to carry with me.
