If you want this sleeve to add padding in a bag or keep your laptop clean, this is a great item. It's also great if you want something smart looking. I get lots of compliments on this but it is rather on the soft side and not a dense foam. One feature I liked before I purchased this was the handles. But, since they tuck inside the sleeve if you actually want to use them, the bag has to be unzipped on the top. That makes the top gap so I just never use them. Overall, I am satisfied although I would have liked this to be a denser material.

I've owned this backpack for about a month and use it primarily for overnight business trips. The material appears to be very sturdy, and I like the design of the pockets. Most of the storage options actually seem useful (I've owned other bags with lots of useless pockets). For example, the three mesh pockets on the inside perfectly fit my cell phone charger and the two pieces of the power cord for my laptop. The product description suggests that there is a "water bottle pocket" but there are actually two -one on each side. The padded laptop pocket fits my 13" laptop with or without a sleeve on it.

One thing not apparent from the pictures or description is that there is a chest strap. I didn't like the look at first but actually found it to be quite helpful, especially when the bag is packed to the max. It's also adjustable (you can slide it up or down the shoulder straps), which is nice.

My only small gripe is that the bag itself is a little heavy in comparison to other backpacks I've previously owned, which doesn't help when you're carrying a laptop + books + water, etc. However, I think it's a reasonable tradeoff if the heavier material is indicative of greater durability.

I have really enjoyed this product the past few weeks. The straps have great padding, as well as the cross padding near the bottom.

I bought this backpack for daily commute and for international travel. It is very comfortable to wear on my back, even in very hot weather. All of the pockets are great the construction is very sturdy, and the fabric and zippers are very high in quality. I carry my ultrabook and all accessories in it, my ipad, ipod touch, and lots of office supplies in it at all times. There is still plenty of room for several books also on occasion. This is a great backpack for the business traveller and for the student. I'd buy it again. This is the best backpack I have ever owned. The only thing I added was clasps on each of the zippers to make it too difficult/inconvenient for people to open the zippers and take things out when the backpack is worn behind me in very crowded cities. This gave me added security and peace of mind for international, urban travel. Great backpack!

This bag is gorgeous, high quality leather. There is one big problem, the straps on the back are too long. They cannot be adjusted to come anywhere close to fitting. I am 5 7", with long torso. If I were to keep it, I would have to take it to a leather shop and have the straps shortened and sewed. I decided on another bag, however, it would be worth investing in shortening the straps.

I have been using the large size backpack for 2 months to carry my tablet and files to and from work. The backpack gives great protection and has many storage options. It has plenty of room to hold a laptop. It is perfect for traveling. My only minor complaint is that the side water bottle holders should be larger; perhaps they will stretch out after more use. The Catbus plushie head fell off the first day, the straps broke constantly, and a lot of the bag started getting holes (even the non-fabric parts). I got this backpack for my new HP 17 inch laptop and I needed a new backpack to put it in for traveling. I got this backpack and when I got it, I thought "This is a really nice backpack!" Then I put the laptop inside the protective pocket and it didn't fit. It was a really nice backpack, but it didn't fit.

A buddy of mine just purchased this backpack with built-in Pelican case. He rides a motorcycle and wanted to protect his nice new Apple Retina, even if he took a tumble. This Pelican ProGear is up to the task I have no doubt that the computer would be safe even if the worst happened! It is set up with laptop protection in mind first and foremost, and has a very functional backpack design that meets airline carry-on specifications. The computer compartment is separate from the rest of the backpack, making it convenient to open just the computer compartment to retrieve the laptop for airline security (no difficulties in pushing it back in afterward, as I have had to do many times while traveling on business and doing my best to not check a bag). It is ergonomical design translates to being comfortably worn, and the heavy duty straps adjust. The zippers are not cheapo and there are velcro tie downs that relieve the pressure on the zipper should the bag be over-stuffed. It also has compression straps to minimize its size and maximize its travelability. Plenty of room for a weekend or 3 day trip and room for the various power bricks, drives, etc. that you might want to bring, along with a tablet like an iPad (or a paper one) plus a few folders and/or Kindle, etc. You would carry your iPad or Kindle in a separate compartment from the laptop. The separate compartment is very well protected, but not with the iron fist of the built-in computer case (meaning that it wouldn't be protected from submersion in water or from a car running over it though the laptop would be safe!).

The bag is expensive and there is a trade-off for the "bullet proof" protection in that it is on the heavy side (about 8 lbs empty), but the quality is top notch (you get what you pay for). In my opinion, there is no other backpack out there that would even come close in terms of security. There is no built-in combination lock, but the latch is very secure.

A quick comment on Pelican cases they are the BEST. I asked my Navy SEAL friend (a REAL one) if he knew anything about them and he said that they use them to transport certain of their gear around the world in the toughest environments. They hold up to abuse of the baggage handling gorillas trip after trip. After this endorsement I bought one for myself and have used it to protect sensitive equipment transported via airlines, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

The Pelican U100 Elite Storage Backpack is an extreme computer backpack for extreme conditions. This beast weighs 8.4 pounds empty, so it is obviously made to withstand almost anything. The Pelican laptop compartment is waterproof, crush proof, and has room for a decent size laptop (15.50″ long x 10.50″ width x 1.50″ deep). The cloth material is 1000 denier nylon, which is much thicker than most non-military grade backpacks. It's the best of both worlds, a Pelican case and a very durable backpack.

Who would need such a backpack? Anyone who puts their computer at risk. I take my laptop to and from work in a car with a lot of other equipment. My laptop is subject to being knocked around, short falls, or having other equipment tossed on top of it. This backpack would also be great for soldiers, frequent travelers, motorcycle riders, or anyone who takes their computer to inhospitable environments. This has got to be one of the most protective computer backpacks on earth.

I stumbled upon this backpack after writing on my website about a laptop sleeve I purchased to protect my MacBook Pro. This laptop sleeve would be sufficient for most people, but I wanted something offering extreme protection. I considered a standard Pelican case (briefcase style), but that would not have room for the other equipment I need to carry with me on a regular basis. Everything pointed to the Pelican U100 backpack.

The Pelican U100 backpack is a bit expensive at a retail price of $269.86. I checked Amazon and it was much cheaper around $185. This was more than I am used to paying for a computer backpack, but it would be cheaper than replacing a high-end laptop. I also feel this laptop is a good deal at the price on Amazon.

The plastic laptop compartment is padded, but the padding is thin and not the normal Pelican case padding. It is obvious this was needed to keep the dimensions of the compartment reasonably sized. Newer laptops, MacBooks, and "ultrabooks" are thin so Pelican included padded spacers. I have a MacBook Pro 13 and the two spacers for this model laptop may be sufficient, but I still may look at adding padding that is more substantial. I may take padding from another Pelican case and line the compartment with it.

In addition to the plastic laptop storage case, the backpack itself has three main storage compartments:

1. The front compartment is thin and has room for an iPad just behind the plastic protective face. There is also room for pens, notepads, or other smaller items. There is also a zippered pouch in this area.

2. The next compartment is slightly above the compartment above and takes up about 1/3 of the pack height. This compartment can expand to a decent depth, but it will take room from the third and largest compartment.

3. The last and largest compartment runs the length of the pack and can expand to hold a decent amount of gear (one or two days clothes).

*There is a somewhat hidden compartment on the back of the backpack that is accessed by moving the shoulder straps out of the way. This compartment is not meant to hold much and I could see it being used for documents that need to be kept flat. I would bet the only reason this pocket is there is for accessing the plastic laptop case in case of repair.

Though a bit expensive and somewhat heavy compared to normal computer packpacks, I highly recommend the Pelican U100 if you need (or want) serious protection for your laptop. Be sure to check your laptop dimensions to make sure there is enough room in the plastic case (15.50″ long x 10.50″ width x 1.50″ deep).

Although stuffed to the brim it becomes a bit too large to fit under the airline seat in front of you while flying due to the hard case, the tradeoff is worth it to protect your expensive work laptop and / or tablet. Plenty of pockets and adjustable straps and an excellent grip-friendly handle make this a backpack that will fit your needs nicely.

The book bag is great and I show all of the sections and in my opinion the two design flaws of the book bag.Update: took off a star because of the quality. Great while I had it though.

The value is certainly here it's a good looking case, zippers work well, supposedly comes with a lifetime warranty but since I've never heard of V7 until now, I can't put much stock in that. I purchased the 16" size for a 15.6" ASUS laptop, there's about 1/2" to spare around the perimeter, but there's not much padding. The bottom of the handle is made of mesh fabric and doesn't seem very strong. This would be fine for casual use, but if you're a frequent traveler, I'd spend more to get something more rugged with a better handle (there is a shoulder strap included also). There's plenty of room in the zippered pocket area for pens, business cards, and the recharging cords and mouse.

The first image you see of this bag makes it look like the strap is attached to the bottom right corner (looking at it face-on). Be sure to look at the other views before ordering. The strap is actually attached to the bottom LEFT corner and therefore the bag can only be worn on the right shoulder, slung over to your left side. This might work well for a lefty, but I find that, as a right-handed person, I can't get into the bag by sliding it around. I have to actually remove it completely to be able to access the pockets. My previous bag had the strap on the other corner and worked much better for me. Also, the pockets are deep, have no organizers, and little things get lost in them. The iPod pocket is a bit ridiculous: the earphone "jack" is just a hole for the wire to pass through; not helpful at all. It is well-constructed, and holds my Kindle, in a case, plus a number of other things like wallet, glasses, phone, etc. But the strap thing is so getting on my nerves that I'm going to have to buy something else and dump this.

We've purchased FUL products before and have been very satisfied, so when I read some of the poor reviews of this product, I had to really consider whether I wanted to take the risk or not.

So, let me say first, that this was what I expected. The bag I received was just fine no poor stitching, etc. The zippers are strong, the design well-considered, canvas material is thick, and the color is vibrant. Another winner from FUL.

These would be my suggestions to FUL for improving the design:

Needs small pockets (just as the description says, there are only 3 pockets). I would have liked more for SD cards, coins, etc. like their backpacks.

Would prefer to have ability to secure headphone cord to sling so the cord isn't loose between the pocket and my ears. Simple velcro would work great.

I purchased the 17 inch bag. The bag looks very nice so im glad about that. Its comfortable and the ipod pocket is a nice addition. NO laptop will fit in there. Also, there is no "elastic water bottle pouch." That was very upsetting. One of the reasons that i purchased this was to use it as a gym bag. Not a good idea... its too small. Im size 8(mens) and my sneakers barely fit. After that, only a shirt fits but no shorts. If you will use it to carry very small things then by all means purchase this bag but other than that; stay away. Also, The size is a lot smaller that what you would think(but thats my fault because the specifications are correct).

Just got this bag and it was everything I had hoped for. It is a bit on the small side so if you are looking to cram a lot in buy something else. I wanted something smaller for my frame and do not carry much more than my laptop so it works great. I am able to fit my 13" macbook, a notebook and a 1" binder comfortably in the main pouch with a little room to spare and have plenty of room for pens, wallet, keys etc. in the other smaller compartments. It seems to be very durable but I haven't had it very long. Like a previous review mentioned it is definitely not black but more of a very dark grey and it came with two additional straps (purple and light grey) if you do not like the green. Osprey also has unique round zipper pulls which I find fun.

Osprey -how do I love thee, let me count the ways. The easy access front of the front flap holds my keys and subway pass (no need to fiddle with straps). The velcro is SERIOUSLY strong (it was full of stuff, I forgot to close the straps, but the velcro held it shut all the way home). Cross body style (and strap to hold it snug to the body) means that my hands can be holding on to the kids, NOT my bag, and my stuff is still safe. LOVE IT!

I felt I was leaving behind the 'backpack' stage of my life, and wanted something different for work. I use a 13" MBP, and this bag is perfect and roomy enough for the laptop, various other small electronics (iPad mini) and cables, cosmetics, AND a small purse. In fact, the only drawback to this bag is that it's so very well designed, with so many convenient and high-utility compartments, that it's easy to overload it to the point that the strap digs into your shoulder uncomfortably. I think this is half "just carry less junk" and half "strap could use a little more padding". I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

My kids had these bags for almost 3 months and then they just started breaking down. These are not in any way affiliated with "Jansport". Unfortunately it was my err to believe that they were. I put in a search for Jansport and got these Transports instead. I don't even know how this bag can be called a backpack, bag, or anything else for that matter. It has been made from the cheapest material. My youngest child is 7 he might have 2 lbs. worth the stuff in this bag because his books are kept at school. I had to resew the housing on the straps twice, the bag itself was deteriorating right before our eyes. The zipper... oh that zipper. It stopped working in about 3 weeks. I'm sure I can't get a refund or anything on these, but this was HORRIBLE! I plan to contact the shipper if at all possible. STEER CLEAR of these bags unless you just want the bag with nothing in it to look cute on your backside.

It is WAY to big for a 15 inch macbook. If you want a nice snug, protective fit, buy something else. It is also rather thin.

The bag is made well and the main storage compartment is very large. The laptop compartment has no padding so I would not trust it with my expensive laptop. Also the insulated sleeve does not really keep anything hot or cold very well. Also I wish the bag had a few more compartments...maybe a smaller one on the front of the bag.

Kata KT DL-3N1-20 3-In-1 Sling Backpack (Black)

I purchased this bag hoping to carry a 7D, 100-400, 17-55, 100 macro, and a 430 flash. I figured this bag would be big enough. The bag is big enough to carry all this and a few small extras but only if configured a certain way. The 7D with the 100-400 will not fit when together so I always have to change lenses to put the camera back in the bag. I have to store the 100-400 in the top pocket then the camera with either the 100mm 0r 17-55 in the main pouch for everything to fit. The bag quality is excellent with the ability to sling it or backpack which is nice. The bag functions as described and deserves five stars. For me I guess I should have ordered the next bag size up.

I'll be honest, I almost sent this bag back when I got it. I got frustated with the configuration of the dividers to fit my needs, and the zippers which don't always operate smoothly. It also felt so light weight that I was fooled into thinking it was cheaply made. But I gave it a chance, and it turned out to be VERY well made and fits my needs perfectly.

For those who don't know, KATA was founded by a couple Israeli special forces soldiers who were making their own combat gear. The company was later purchased by a huge photo equipment conglomerate, but that hasn't dumbed down the quality as far as I can tell. The materials are top notch, and they look and feel tough. Those fussy zippers appear to be designed to keep sprinkles and dust from entering the bag. (Zippers are working better after a bit of "break-in".) Of course, steady rain would call for using the included weather shield, which covers all but the straps. The padding is somewhat thin, but dense enough to protect expensive lenses, as long as you don't throw it around like an airline baggage handler.

I sat myself down on the floor for about an hour and played with the velcro-attaching dividers and my gear. I have 2 small primes and two larger Canon L zooms. My goal was to be able to access all my lenses from the side zipper when the bag was slung horizontal in front of me. I finally made it work by turning a small divider sideways between the two primes. The original divider setup seems to assume that you'll pull your camera from the side and other articals from the front, but this is not practical or safe (easy to spill or drop gear). I also set it up so that once the DSLR is out, two divider "doors" on either side of the attached lens corridor open to reveal the other lenses. This works very well for changing lenses without setting anything down, which was a major requirement for me.

I also learned to place frequently used filters in the upper side pocket facing me when the bag is slung horizontal. I do have to take the bag off to access the top compartment, opposite side pocket, and opposite side of main compartment, but the need to do this is not frequent. I just make sure to store things in these spots that I don't need often.

The bag is comfortable to wear as a single-strap sling, but I have added enough weight in gear that I use the backback configuration with two straps for a long hike. Of course, access to the bag without setting it down is much trickier in backpack mode. I have a monster of aluminum and steel Bogen tripod and probably wouldn't use the optional tripod attachment because it would add too much weight, unless I got a lighter carbon fiber model (when I get rich).

A LowePro Orion waistpack was my previous bag. It was very high quality and heavily padded and I used it for over 15 years. I could access ALL my gear by sliding it around to my front, but I was outgrowing it (no room for new gear). I have to say being able to carry on my back and still have quick access works much better than having my bag bouncing on my buns or the tops of my thighs as I move. I had to hold the LowePro steady if I wanted to run, but cinching the strap(s) down on the KATA (which adjust quickly and easily) allows me to run with my hands free (and nothing bumping my butt or upper legs).

I've had the KATA for just over a month and have taken it on multiple outings without any issues. I don't expect to have any after closely examining the stiching. I would recommend the KATA 3n1 line if you need a medium sized bag that you can carry securely while on the move and still have quick access. My very first camera bag was a shoulder bag, and when it swung out, threw me off balance, and pulled me into a creek when I was hopping rocks... Well I found a better solution. $99 is a lot of money for a hunk of straps, padding, and pockets, but I carry over $3,000 worth of gear in it. So paying a little more for something well made is worth it, even in my stingy, economical brain.

This laptop sleeve is great, I absolutely love it! I just ordered my new laptop and ordered this along with it, loving the color and design. It does have a smell when first opened (like rubber), but it's not overwhelming and starts to fade away pretty fast. Also, another minor detail, in the picture the leopard print appears a shade or two darker than it actually is, I didn't mind this, but somebody else might. Overall, it's a great sleeve with the two zippers, I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I love it! It's sometimes hard to find something other than a basic black. The case is well made and the zippers strong. It fits my Dell Inspiron 15z laptop 15.6" just great. Remember though, it's a sleeve and there's no room for cables or anything else.

This case looks awesome, but it's super thin and doesnt actually provide much padding. It's fine for just basically storage/keeping your computer from getting dusty but it certainly wouldnt be travel worthy. If you just want a fun funky case this is very nice looking, but dont buy this for safety/travel.

I really love these packs. Great for a day hike or a night nighter (more if you travel with a minimum of gear). The pack is light, durable, and expandable. I especially love the sunglass pocket built right into the should harness, and the extra pockets on the hip harness. Also includes a rain cover that is stashed in the bottom pouch. My girlfriend and I have used these packs on numerous hikes, and they are holding up very well. I have even run with it (typically a ridiculous exercise with most packs) and it performed well.

This pack comes in three sizes, so measure your torso length and buy the appropriate pack. Don't assume because you are tall you should automatically get the large. Osprey's site or REI's has instructions for measuring your torso length if you don't know how. Or just go to your local outdoor outfitter and they can help fit you!

This is the first Osprey pack I've ever purchased, and I did so because of rave reviews from friends and internet users alike, so I figured I would post my own review. I'm 6'2", 170 pounds, and I got the large (2,319 ci), which suits my body perfectly. As other reviewers have noted, the Airspeed system allows your back to breathe, no matter the conditions. This pack is great for 1-3 nights, though I'd use a larger pack if I was hiking/trekking for a longer period of time. The hip-belt pockets are easily accessible and great for a digital camera or energy bar, and I like the front-loading feature, in my opinion a must have. However, if you're searching for a day-to-day pack, then this probably isn't the one for you. It's a bit bulky for daily use, especially if you're on a crowded bus, plane, or train, or if you're commuting on a bike. I spent 3 years abroad, living out of a backpack while teaching in Latin America and Asia, so I tend to put my packs through one torture test after another. I'm planning another long-term excursion to Australia and Southeast Asia, and this pack is definitely coming with me since it has a built-in raincover that's great for the rainy season. Once again, I highly recommend this pack for hiking, camping, and outdoor use, not so much for day-to-day city use.

I've had osprey bags in the past, I always thought they had great ideas and put out a great product with a great worranty that can't be beet, but for some reason I always felt like they fell a little short on the over all bag. This year on the other hand, they NAILD IT, the straps go all the right ways the and there under the side holders instead of over, the mettle back peace is smaller, lighter, closer to your back so not to take up all the room of the bag, and the over all look and feel in great and put together very well.

I have a love hate relationship with DAY packs. They are by design small, but it's good to know that they come in varying sizes to accommodate different needs.

This pack can be small and hold a lot. I love the various tie downs on the pack that lets you open up the space as needed, yet tighten down unused open space to keep things from moving around.

The vented back is great. No more sweaty backs.

The only downside for me was the side pockets on the waist belt. I'm a big guy and the waist/chest support adjusts as needed, but the storage areas tend to be behind me (kidney area?) It would have been better for me if it was detachable from the main backpack.

I had one of these for 7 years. It stood up to a lot of abuse. It's great for traveling and school. It can hold 4-5 days worth of cloths, my lap top and other supplies without an issue. It got me through high school, undergrad and my masters degree. It was still functioning well but showing its age so I just bought another identical one.

I read a couple of reviews of this laptop backpack and reread them and I was decided. The whole thing is clever and as a reviewer said it doesn't call much attention to itself so it's not a magnet for thieves. I've been using a well made laptop backpack that came with a Dell but it has alot of missing features that make traveling difficult. I haven't used this Targus while traveling yet but will write something else when I do.

Nothing short of WOW. I looked for durability, comfort, functionality, and a good design. this has them all. this was a solid choice for long term use for my laptop and daily needs. GET THIS ONE. you won't be sorry you did.

fits a 17.3" laptop easily in its own padded compartment with a strong Velcro top strap inside the main compartment. there's room for additional stuff in the main compartment, and the other wall (to the next section of the backpack) has a second padded little pocket -looks about the size of a portable cd player with another little Velcro strap holder. apparently this is made for audio equip, because the outside top of that has a little rubber flap port for headphones to go out of.

then you hit the front pocket of the bag, which has another padded compartment w a Velcro strap, elastic pen holders, a detachable key fob, a clear id pocket and a little holder for stuff behind that. behind that (still in the front compartment) there's yet another little pouch-long and thin diameter though, which holds a little removable cd holder which looks like it holds about 7 cds.

then on the other wall of that (attached to the flap of the next compartment) there's another pouch, semicircular mesh (I use that for power cables, etc.)

then there's the last pocket in the front which has a thick reflective cooler type coating which is where I store my lunch and drinks. (I actually trust this enough to store a liquid in the same pack as my nice laptop, and that is saying something right there.) its got room for maybe a lunch container n drink, not like a 6 can cooler or anything.

all these pouches are part of the main pack, which is covered by the top flap and secured by the 2 quick lock buckles visible in the picture. that top flap has yet another pouch (great for quick grab stuff) and has 2 rubber x holes (good water seal on them) so the headphones can pass through both sides of that pocket to go down into the cd holder deeper in the pack.

ok, I seriously love pockets for gadgets and stuff, so i'm in heaven with this one. I feel like an advertisement for the dang pack--"...but wait, there's more..." (seriously there is) on the sides of the pack are 2 additional pockets on each side. 1 zip with a nice fuzzy inner liner, and one elastic mesh pocket over that. on one side the elastic mesh pocket actually has one of those variable closeable quick locks w a string like you'd find on a sleeping bag stuff sack. I like that because it gives extra support to heavy cans of energy drinks, big water bottles, etc.

the seam points on this are all triple tacked and well stitched. the zippers all have nice rugged rubber handle grips for easy grabbing. the actual material is great. the bottom and the low part of the sides and the whole bottom front has this really durable anti-abrasive material that I once paid lots of money to get put onto a pair of snowboard pants.--keeps the pack from being torn on surfaces or liquid soaking right through if put on a 'not so clean' surface. completely awesome.

the last thing, and one of the main things I look for in a backpack, is the comfort of the shoulder harness and comfort of wearing the pack under load. they got this pack right in terms of load-bearing comfort and durability. the part you wear against your back has got excellent(and thick enough that you could go backpack w it for days), comfortable breathable padding on it, the shoulder straps are good also. I've noticed carrying a heavy laptop and books over time definitely affects the way packs hang, and a lot of shoulder straps either can't take the weight and tear, or dig into my shoulders, or screw up my back posture, or stick out so far i almost fall over backwards when carrying bulky stuff. not with this pack. (oh thank you, thank you people who designed this pack right!!!!) this back and shoulder padding setup makes the weight distribute correctly and is really comfortable for long term use and wear. the shoulder straps have a solid and a frequently tacked support strap to decrease tension wear on the straps and move it to the pack itself. the pack also has a waist and chest load adjustment strap with again well stitched connectors and easily grabbed ending rings for adjustment. it also comes w a neat little detachable phone/mp3 player pouch on one shoulder strap, which can actually fit an iphone in a case. the top carry handle for hand carrying is solid, well tacked and stitched, and has a nice neoprene velcroing hand grip on it.

the shape this takes with stuff in it is well designed. it holds stuff more vertically for good balance than poofing way out horizontally under load.

I have to say, the fact that I can say so many good things about this pack is a testament to how many crappy packs I've worn in the past. it's nice to finally have something well made that will last.

the last phenomenal thing about this backpack is it actually has its own stowable rain cover that goes into a zipper little pouch at the bottom of the pack. complete genius. you take out the little rain pouch and it covers the whole pack excepting the shoulder straps and the part against your back. now THAT makes me feel good about keeping my laptop safe and dry. (and why doesn't anyone else have this???????? probably because they didn't put that much thought into the design of the pack to begin with.)

I have to take my hat off to Targus for this AWESOME of a design in a backpack. the quality here rivals very expensive backpacking packs in many respects, IT IS JUST THAT GOOD. I would like to see more companies make equipment like this rather than sell of cheaply made poorly designed stuff that rips quickly, holds loads poorly, and are just not that functional nor really useful, let alone inventive in their design and meticulous in their manufacture.

im not sure how but they made this beast look classy and discrete when set on a floor (nothing to see here, move along...this is not your backpack and there's nothing inside you want). I am not afraid to take this pack into a grungy place and set it down but I also feel like I look good wearing it.
