Kensington 62238 Contour Backpack

Kensington 62238 Contour BackpackI'm giving this item 5 stars anyway because I don't thing one little detail should ruin a perfect score on such a great backback. I've been using a Kensington Countour carrying case (the leather one in fact) for a while now and it has been the best bag I have ever known. However, as I am a consultant, I just picked up a gig in Manhattan which requires me to walk a bit more than just from a parking lot to a building. While the Countour carrying case is very confortable, it is a larger size bag (there is a smaller one available but not in leather) and it is not light. So this sent me on a quest to find a good backback that's "city-friendly". Indeed the quest did not take too long because I looked at a couple of units in the store then went straight to the Kensington site since I've been a fan of their products. The backpack looked good enough to try out and I thought I could always return it if I didn't like it. I've only had it for a couple of days and it is awesome. As far as confort, it is unmatched (and I've had a couple of others). The size is perfect (I have a 15.5" wide-screen laptop). I'm not sure if it would fit a 17" laptop but those things are IMHO desktop replacements and not fit for carrying out the city. The arrangements of the pockets is excellent and the snug-fit pocket for the computer is superb. Now, you remember the title of this review what's missing? Though I found snug little pockets for everything I want to carry, it would have been nice to have 1 more for the laptop power supply. Though this is not an item I carry on a daily basis since I keep one at home and one at work, when I travel, it is nice to have it in its own zippered pouch as my other Contour case did. In this one I would have to just through it in the main container area with paperwork and such. I supposed one of the pockets I used for my external mini-drive would have worked so maybe it's just that I personally need one additional pocket. The perfect place would have been a zippered area inside the main container area. Other than that, this thing rocks. The coolest thing is when you open the main container area, the laptop is secured in a tight well-protected sleeve and the rest of the area is quite open so you don't have to stretch the bag out to fiddle with its contents. I look forward to putting this thing through hell and high water in the streets of NY.

I bought this backpack shortly after getting a Dell Inspiron 9300. The laptop is very large and is a very snug fit. However, I feel safe when i put it in my backpack.

There are only a few things about this pack that i dont like. One is that the water bottle holder is not large enough to fit my nalgene bottle, so I've had to get a much smaller bottle. Another is that when i put my backpack on the ground, it often falls forward. It looks as if it was designed to stay upright when a laptop is inside, but when just filled with books it always manages to fall into the aisle.

After the last few rainy days, everything inside my bag has stayed perfectly dry. It all seems to be holding together really well, the construction seems solid and sturdy.

I am using it for HP ZD8000 notebook with 17" screen. It is a tight fit. The notebook is about 9 lbs but you can barely feel the backpack on your back. The backpack has plenty of adjustments so you can make it fit just right. I would definitely buy it again.

I'm someone who likes to walk and bike a lot, instead of using a car whenever possible. This backpack replaced my older general-purpose daypack. I like everything about this Contour pack. It's lightweight, has tons of pockets, and is extremely comfortable. Fully-loaded with a laptop, PDA, cellphone, accessories, and books it still feels balanced and comfortable on my back. The lumbar support system, which has four adjustable position, is a great innovation. You can feel the difference--the pack fits snug against your body. The laptop is held securely in its own padded area. The zippers are smooth with oversized finger tags. The pack stands up on it's own: no need to rest it against a wall. I've used lots of backpacks over the years and this is one of the best. Recommended.

I was glad to find a notebook backpack that doesn't make it look like I am going camping. It fits my Dell Inspiron 9300 (17" Widescreen) snugly and has space for my college books.

Unfortunately after a week the stitching along the inside that connected the laptop compartment began to come out.

Fortunately there is a lifetime warranty and Kensington is going to replace it, but they are currently on back order from Kensington until September. It will be alright until my replacement comes.

Marware Sportfolio for Macbook Air, Black (602956004745)

Marware Sportfolio for Macbook Air, BlackI looked at several cases and I still look to try and find a slim case with a pocket and a should strap, believe it or not its VERY hard to find.. most are sleeves or bigger cases. I carry my Macbook air 13.3 around in this all the time, its slim, protect wells and the flap seems to be able to hold a ton of stuff and still retains its shape. I definitely recommend this case to anyone who needs protection, and wants to carry around some papers or the power adapters and some accessories.. I keep my power cable, headset and iPhone charging cable in the pocket.

Love it, small, tight and has a removable shoulder strap. Putting the power adaptor in the outside pocket makes an unsightly bulge, but in the neoprene open side it's fine.

Slim Small Shoulder Bag, Fits Most 13-Inch Screens (dp-0521-1)

Slim Small Shoulder Bag, Fits Most 13-Inch ScreensThat's what I was looking for something to carry my iPad plus a folder or thin binder for papers. With eBooks and other wonders of modern technology, that's all I normally need for the classes I teach these days. But dedicated iPad cases are usually too small for a folder or binder (haven't figured out a way to go *totally* paperless), other laptop bags tend to be bigger and bulkier than I want, and simple messenger bags tend to be flimsy and underpadded. I think this bag the "Slim" model, "Small" size nails it. Note the previous reviewer is talking about the "Extra Small" size. I'm sure it probably fits some 11" laptops, if not his/hers in particular. But it is definitely too small for a letter-sized folder or notebook.

Beyond being the perfect size for my needs, the STM Slim/Small also seems very well designed and constructed. The corduroy interior is nice, the exterior pockets useful but unobtrusive. It's almost *too* nice looking, coming off in the "mushroom" color I have as a bit "fem". But that doesn't bother me, and I'm sure black looks "manly" enough :-)

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the strap system. The swivel connectors have a knack for "catching" 180 degrees from where you'd want them, meaning I often have to twist them into position manually when I pick the bag up. And although the canvas strap is nice and wide and the cushioned pad very comfortable, somehow, it doesn't seem to want to stay on my shoulder all that well with or without the pad. I suspect it would be actually better with more weight in it. Anyhow, if anything about the strap eventually gets too much on my nerves, I can easily attach a different strap instead.

Holds 11" Air perfectly. Charger fits nicely into side zipper pocket and my iPad fits nicely into the open pocket on the other side. Great bag for much cheaper then what Incase charges for the same thing.

It's slim and could easily slide into a large tote bag for school, but is sturdy and protective enough to stand on its own. The interior laptop pocket is extremely soft and couldn't possibly scratch anything. The cell phone pocket is perfect for my iphone 5. Love the front pocket. Holds my mouse, external hard drive and power cord perfectly. There's even a little extra room in the main pocket for a little extra, a notebook for instance. I LOVE IT!

I searched Amazon looking for the right bag for my 11" MacBook Air. There are lots of bags for the iPad (too small) and for 13" laptops (too big). I discovered the STM bags, and checked all the dimensions... looked good in the extra small size... and found one nearly half-price AND with free Super Saver Shipping. Just got the bag today, and it's PERFECT: well-designed, neat, and with just enough room for my MBA and its peripherals, my wallet and a few files. I love it already!

Want Slim Small Shoulder Bag, Fits Most 13-Inch Screens (dp-0521-1) Discount?

I really like this bag from STM. For me it's the right balance between carrying accessories and staying slim. It's clearly a perfect fit for the Macbook Air 11", which you'll know has unusual dimensions if you've tried standard bags or sleeves.

The entire package feels very high quality, and there is enough padding to feel your Air is safe from minor bumps. Both the inside and outside materials look and feel very classy. It is nice and small; some of the photos you'll see advertised with this size are actually the larger versions.

A few small drawbacks:

At the top corners of the laptop compartment even with the main zippers entirely open, the zippers seem to directly touch the Air (see photo). While I haven't noticed any scratches, I do pull the Air out carefully and wish there was something soft in between.

The shoulder strap comes with a thick pad on it, presumably for comfort. Fortunately this is very easily removable by velcro, because I think it is unnecessary and uncomfortable. The pad is very thick and stiff; I found that with the bag fully loaded (at only a few pounds) it simply doesn't weigh enough to even make the pad curve over your shoulder. Instead, it rests awkwardly straight on your shoulder.

The small handles are convenient, but not perfect. They each have a stiff rod sewn into them, which is comfortable while carrying by hand, but when the bag is resting on my back while using the shoulder pad, the rod can rest uncomfortably between me and the bag. I've considered cutting a small slit in the handle to remove at least the rear handle rod, or removing the rear handle entirely, as this bag is never very heavy.

These issues are minor, and I think this bag would really serve most people well.

Vera Bradley Laptop Backpack

Vera Bradley Laptop Backpack in Island BloomsAwesome backpack! Lots of space, but not as spacious as LL Bean backpacks. My daughter loves it!

Very well made. My daughter loves this backpack. The colors are vibrate and the size is great. We bought the smaller version first and it was never big enough to store all of her books. The laptop backpack is a great size for middle & high schoolers. The smaller version is more for K-3rd graders where kids don't have books to bring home.

My daughter loves this laptop bookbag. The material is soft like Vera's purses and totes, so I hope it last under the weight of all of the books. I thought it would be made using a stronger fabric like the luggage is made. Love that her laptop fits so she can take it with her anywhere.

I loved this bag for the longest time, I have used the bag since the beginning of last school year (Sept 2011). After about 6 months of almost daily use the straps began to tear and fray, now the bottom is ripping. The coloring on the top and sides has faded so much that it looks like I have had this bag for 5+ years. I would not reccommend getting this bag if you are looking to find something that will last more than 9 months-1 year. Also, this bag does not hold very much. A laptop, 1" binder, and a notebook are about all it can hold without straining on the zippers.

I purchased this for a family trip to Italy. It was a terrific bag. It held my laptop perfectly, as well as other carry on essentials. I checked my luggage and used this as my carry on. My only complaint would be that the "main" area of the bag should have more compartments, it was a dark cavern! Next time I will use cosmetic bags for smaller items to find them easier.

Eagle Creek No Matter What Duffel Bag

Eagle Creek No Matter What Duffel Bag, Black, LargeI purchased the large version of this bag for a trip to Africa, and am glad I did. After a number of long flights, dusty days bumping around in the back of a Land Rover, and a bit of rain, this bag still looks brand new. I own other Eagle Creek luggage, and as usual, their stuff seems near impervious to harm (and the warranty is excellent, if something should happen).

This is a fairly basic duffel, but it does have a few nice features. The shoulder strap, which was quite comfortable, is easily removable and packable, which is good for a checked bag. The carry handles seem good and strong, and there are a couple of cinch straps that are great for tightening down the contents. There is a small zip pocket on the outside that can carry some incidentals, though nothing too large. The main zipper is good and heavy, and is designed to fit a travel lock.

The bag itself comes packed in a very small stuff sack. It would be fairly easy to pack one of these in another piece of luggage without taking up much space. Speaking of space, I was shocked at just how much stuff I could fit in this bag. Ten days of clothes and supplies still left plenty of room. It's possible I could have gotten the medium and still fit everything.

The only thing I would have liked would have been a small pocket on the inside to stow a few things while the main zipper was locked. It took a while to find some small items in such a large bag. Also, since this is a packable, soft, bag, there is no rigidity in the bottom, which can make it slightly awkward to carry if not entirely full. We got around this problem by putting a sheet of cardboard in the bottom. It's not advertised as a solid bottomed bag though, so this isn't a mark against the product.

In any case, this is an excellent bag, and I'm tempted to get one of the smaller ones to use as a carry on in the future.

I've been living out of the Large duffel bag for the better part of two years. On average I've loaded it with 20 kg / 45 lbs. of personal items and gear. The Medium bag was too small for this load and this Large bag could accommodate more.

I've owned and used both the small and large size versions of this bag. They are made of exactly the same materials. I used to load the small bag with 10 kg / 20 lbs. on average. After living out of it for some years it showed remarkably little wear. The large bag is showing more wear. Several holes have worn through the bottom material and one seam in the upper material has begun to separate.

With the small bag, I always used the shoulder strap when walking. With the large bag, I find it very awkward to use the shoulder strap when walking. As a result I have given up on the shoulder strap and it is now the reserve strap for my small bag. With the large bag I have resorted to putting my arm through the top handles and carrying the bag over my shoulder. Walking with a 20 kg load slung over your shoulder becomes uncomfortable pretty quickly, but it is possible to walk at a normal pace.

With the small bag I never used the cinch straps, but with the large bag they compress the load and make the bag less awkward to carry.

The lockable main zipper makes it more difficult for thieves to access the contents of the bag. If the situation warrants it, one can lock the bag to an immovable object with a choke chain. (Choke chain and lock not included.) The outside pocket is not lockable.

Carrying any big load is going to be difficult. For maximum comfort a backpack is probably the answer. Is some wear and tear after many months of use to be expected? Is it acceptable? You decide. Can you find a better duffel bag on the market? I don't know. Can you find a similar bag at a lower price? I don't know.

I wish this bag had the pass through to hook over the telescope handle of rolling luggage, but this large size does not.

Its a nice large size and well constructed.

I don't think I can fold it up again to get back inside its stuff sack.

Great sturdy bag. No problems after checking it in as luggage for 6 flights.

This is a tough, nice looking duffle bag that fits so much in it.

We bought two of these bags for use on holidays as checked luggage, they are so light they don't eat into your luggage weight allowance, whereas wheeled bags are often 4kg or more.

The cinch straps across the top let you cinch it down if it isn't full, making its dimensions smaller if you are having trouble with checked in luggage restrictions. We never had a problem with this as a checked bag on several airlines. The base is reinforced and strong. It folds down very small. The bag it comes in can be used as a packing cell while you're travelling, to put miscellaneous items, socks, undies or whatever in it, to keep them separate from other items a packing cell that size would normally cost $15 or so at least, and this one is free with the bag.

The only thing not good about this bag is that you can fit so much into it and it can be so heavy, that we missed not having wheels. They do have a shoulder strap, but if you're lugging 23kg around, they're still very heavy to carry by the shoulder straps or the carry handles. Easier to find a trolley at the airport for the bag. If there's two people with two of these bags, the carry straps on either end mean you can each grab one end of each bag and walk in convoy with them.

I highly recommend this bag for African safaris, where you have to travel with collapsible bags, or where you want to utilise your checked luggage allowance on your contents rather than wasting it on the bag's weight.

CineBags CB-25B Revolution Backpack

CineBags CB-25B Revolution BackpackThis bag is made extremely well. A lot of thought went into the design. The back compartment is a little bit hard to access but I am sure it will improve over time when the straps are worn down a bit and can relax more. The back straps and the hip straps get in the way a little when trying to open it. The bag is very comfortable to wear (it feels as if nothing is against your back) but it can get a bit heavy. There is a LOT of storage space in this bag. It is a very, very large bag. I was able to fit my microphone, camera, lenses, cords...literally everything in this bag. And I have many compartments empty. There are spots for you to attach a tripod to the front which will be very useful. I can infer that the bag's primary use would be for traveling with your camera (meets airline specifications for carry-on!) or if you are going on location somewhere (a la the companies' tagline "Life On Location"). Although I will not often be traveling via plane with this bag, it will be great for going on location. I used to use a duffel bag with no compartments. The raincover and waterproof fabric is very nice and handy. The top U-pouch is very deep and large. And a note to all of you: The main part of the bag is not as big or tall as the bag itself. It is about as large as the laptop compartment on the front. It is, however, as deep as the bag itself. That is just for reference.

I would definitely buy another bag from Cinebags. They have excellent customer service via their Facebook page. I was contemplating getting the CB23 bag which is a little smaller but I opted for this one for a few extra bucks so I could have more storage space. Looking back, I wish I would have gotten the smaller bag. I'm not saying this bag is too large but for my purposes it is. Who knows, I have not used it much on location.

Again, for reference, the bag is about from your shoulders to hips height wise and width wise it is almost as wide as my body (which probably doesn't help you at all). It is most definitely not the size of a normal bookbag. I opted for the backback style bag because I didn't want to have to physically carry something and I didn't want a sling over bag.

It does feature hip straps and the regular straps also have a buckle on them. This bag would be excellent for hiking. Both of the straps, especially the hip ones, are extremely padded which also means they are bigger in size.

On a last note, the keychain is a nice touch.

YES, this bag is small enough to fit under any airline seat I've flown, including the smaller feeder RJ's. I was able to carry a large HVX-200 camera *and* my Cartoni fluid head in the main compartment! The side pockets and such are almost too small to be terribly useful, but what a great bag. Properly adjusted it hangs on your hips and shoulders nicely too as you're walking down that 2 mile concourse to your connecting flight. Built very well, I would definitely recommend this to anyone! If I was another bag created for carrying film and video gear, I would marry this bag.

This bag has been all over with me in the last year or so. I love it. It protects my camera, lenses, gear, and still has room for extras in a small package! I shoot with a Sony AX2000, I have a century 1.6x adapter, and a wide angle plus 4 large batteries, filters, cables, etc. I am amazed how much fits in this bag for how lightweight it actually seems when you wear it. I used to have a Tamrac and a Lowepro, and this one just works with video equipment better. I like that the zipper access is close to your back instead of on the outside, it feels safer having your gear closer to you without being able to be accessed from behind.

Would highly recommend!

This thing looks huge. But yes, it does fit into an overhead bin. Caveat: I am not a video cameraman. I happen to do broadcast voiceover, and I also shoot stills. When traveling, I needed a padded bag that would accommodate not only a broadcast-quality recording rig (including a laptop), but a DSLR.

This bag has an extraordinary amount of space. Overall, it seems bulletproof. It's also designed for carrying into the field, which means the straps and waist belt are probably more substantial than I'll need, and the waist belt tends to get in the way onboard an airliner. (I've been using a small bungee to keep it secured and out of the way.) That's not necessarily a complaint, but an observation.

Probably the only complaint I have--and it's minor--is there's no hook in any of the compartments for securing a key ring. It's a feature I've become used to on my other bags, and it would have been nice to have here. Overall, this is an excellent product. Pricey, yes. But when you're carrying thousands of dollars worth of gear, it's probably one of the cheapest insurance policies you can buy.

Want CineBags CB-25B Revolution Backpack Discount?

This is a larger sized bag but despite the exterior dimensions the main compartment is surprisingly not as spacious as I thought it would be. Part of the reason is the small storage section on top that you can quickly access without zipping open the entire thing so that's a totally acceptable compromise. What I like best are the side pockets. They're not padded but they are convenient and good for less fragile items like clamps and friction arms. I'd prefer to have buckled flaps so that I can actually pull things out more easily and without fear of scratching things on the zippers but zippers are more secure. I also like the weird unnamed pouch thing in front. It's strangely not mentioned any place in the item description but is very useful for carrying light stands, tripods or anything else that's long and thin. Three compression straps hold items tightly to the bag. The suspension of the bag is decent and sculpted out for airflow. Straps are thick and padded. Stitching quality is holding up nicely so far.

My main complaint (pretty major) is the balance of a fully loaded bag and the carrying handle. When you lift the bag by the top handle, the top will tip forward and the bottom will swing back towards you since the balance point would be forward of where the carrying handle actually is. This makes it awkward to just carry or even to heft onto your back from the carry position. This bag needs a more rigid Kata-style carrying handle on top that's moved forward to the correct balance point. I say rigid because that would also help to prevent swing which is something that you don't want when the bag is filled with expensive equipment.

Spiderman Large Backpack

Spiderman Large BackpackI purchased this backpack for my five year old son, and he loves it. The photo does not do it justice. If your child likes Spiderman, then, he or she will like this bag. As for me, I like that is seems to be sturdy and made with quality materials. I think it will last quite some time, especially for a child who does not need to carry heavy loads. Also, the larger front compartment (with the Spiderman image) has small pockets for pencils, markers, notes, etc.

Great backpack for my special needs kindergartner. Perfect size and has two front pockets for smaller items. He also likes the spiderman on front.

Macbeth Collection Neoprene Zipper Fashion Laptop Sleeve (15.6 Inch, Black Zebra)

Macbeth Collection Neoprene Zipper Fashion Laptop SleeveThis laptop sleeve is great, I absolutely love it! I just ordered my new laptop and ordered this along with it, loving the color and design. It does have a smell when first opened (like rubber), but it's not overwhelming and starts to fade away pretty fast. Also, another minor detail, in the picture the leopard print appears a shade or two darker than it actually is, I didn't mind this, but somebody else might. Overall, it's a great sleeve with the two zippers, I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Lassig Gold Label Shoulder Bag

Lassig Gold Label Shoulder Bag, NavyThis is an incredibly spacious bag. It has really useful inside pockets in a removable organizer and two side zipper pockets. The removable organizer even has an insulated bottle compartment that zips closed, as well as a "wet" pocket that also zips closed and keeps wet items away from the rest of the bag. The bag sits up when you put it down really well -mostly because the bottom of the bag is a zipper compartment that holds a matching portable changing pad (the folded changing pad adds some structure to the bag when it's zipped in). It also comes with stroller straps that allow you to attach the bag to any stroller. And my favorite feature... this bag converts from a shoulder bag to a messenger bag.

My only complaint and the only reason I'm giving this bag 4 stars instead of 5 is that the closure on the bag is not as secure as I'd like. The bag has the equivalent of a tie/string closure. This means that the contents of the bag are mostly accessible when the bag is closed. I tested the bag several times by filling it up, closing the string closure, and knocking the bag off the bed/couch/table, to make sure the contents wouldn't spill everywhere. The bag did pass my test, but I still wish it had a zipper. I may look into adding one myself, though I understand why the manufacturer did not add a zipper... the bag is reversible, making a zipper closure complicated if you'd like to use both sides.

Still, a wonderful bag: great size, great internal organization, particularly the insulated zipper pocket, and zipper "wet" pocket. Considering it's size and features, it's also really reasonably priced.

From the picture it is very nice, and I liked it a lot. But once it arrived I was disappointed immensely, it was smaller than the picture led me to believe and small inside.

I was so excited to get this diaper bag. I was disappointed with it when I got it. I am not a fan of the material it is made of. It is stiff and really thick. The two top pockets are difficult to unzip. The pockets are very deep which is nice but the opening is quite small. It also has a separate bag that contains all the pockets. I really liked this idea but when I was trying to put my wipes, diapers and everything into the pockets I noticed they were too small. Also, once I put a few items in the pockets there wasn't much room for anything in the middle compartment. I wish it wasn't reversible and they had built all the compartments into the main bag. I think they would have been big enough then and there would have been room for everything. I was also disappointed with the color. I expected a more creamy tan and it is actually more khaki-green colored. Not a fan. I am so sad and still looking for a good diaper bag with lots of pockets and room for everything but still stylish.

Avengers 16 Inch Rolling Backpack

Avengers 16 Inch Rolling BackpackI bought this a month ago for my 6 yr old for school. He only puts a light folder and the matching lunchbox in it. The zipper head always got stuck and two weeks later it just fell off. It's cheaply made for this price and not as big as it looks in the picture and the handle is not long enough ( and my boy isn't even tall, he's short for his age!) so I do not recommend this product. His bag last year was from overstock and it was bigger and better material and was only $8 more and lasted the entire year and in great shape but he won't reuse it because he's outgrown the 'cars' theme and is into 'avengers and superheroes' now.

Neat product for a great price . I am looking for a lot more products . Thanks for honest product and reasonably priced item .

It's beautiful and my son loved, however it's more fragile than I supposed, so I'm afraid it will be gone in a few months from now.

Got this for my three year old Grandson. He had the smaller backback "Cars" on wheels. He loved the bigger backpack from "Avengers". Great gift from Grandma to take his things to spend the night! He is very proud of it.

Lassig Kids Mini Backpack

Lassig Kids Mini Backpack - Mushroom(by A Dad) I returned it immediately. Overall, the product wasn't bad: construction was appropriate for cost, styling as represented in the picture, but there were two critical design flaws that rendered it unusable as a kids backpack. Both of them stem from the fact the buckles visible in the picture are purely decorative. First, the magnetic closures for the main pocket are far too weak to actually close it reliably. Basically, load it with anything heavier than an empty water bottle, turn it upside and shake it, and everything's likely to fall straight out. Second, the decorative buckles attached to the magnetic closures are sewn on upside down, so they fall open when the backpack is worn. This leaves the tang sticking out at about eye level for a kid one year younger than the one wearing the backpack as a significant safety hazard. When I say "significant," I would only consider a 5-year-old with a Class 3B laser to be a "significant" hazard if it was a particularly immature 5-year-old who wouldn't stop horsing around with it. Any child of any age can handle a Class 2 and below laser safely with what I would consider "no significant" hazard. Anyway, the idea of sending these incidental eye-pokers out into a busting mass of mini-humans just didn't sit right with me, so I deemed it unusable as a kid's backpack and returned it.

Everki Flight Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Backpack, Fits up to 16-Inch (EKP119)

Everki Flight Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Backpack, Fits up to 16-InchLooks great, solid construction, comfortable, and has enough pockets to hold plenty of gear. I travel a lot for work and carry a lot of gear. I bought this for the checkpoint friendly feature and to better organize all my "stuff". I typically carry laptop, iPad, Kindle, mouse, cell air cards, cords, chargers, power strip, umbrella, water bottle, webcam, snacks, gum, etc. The pockets keep everything organized and, because all the gear is organized, the weight is distributed very well and that makes it a lot more comfortable. The checkpoint friendly feature works beautifully. Good quality construction. Big zippers, thick straps, good stitching, very solid. Highly recommend.

Bought a little over 7 months ago, and still use it daily. I zip up my 3-1-1 fluids bag "outside" my laptop pouch: fold open the backpack for the X-ray and access the fluids bag in one motion. Less stress.

Part of the stitching on the velcro for the laptop belt came undone in the first month I had the bag, but does not seem to be getting worse, so will postpone requesting warranty service until something more significant occurs.

This bag fits under the (economy) seat in front (A319, 737s, 757s, 777s, etc.), but it doesn't leave legroom. Pull the bag toward you and use it as a legrest after the announcement that you can access your carry-on items.

This is a very well made computer backpack. It provides multiple pockets for storage of all sorts. The stitching is top notch and the design was well thought out as well. The distinctive orange lined interior provides great contrast against the black exterior. I had two things I disliked with this bag 1. the handle is uncomfortable to grab and 2. the shoulder straps could use better padding to protect you from travel bruises. However, materials are first rate and this is still a well made backpack from Everki. A definite buy recommendation.

This bag is pretty functional and looks great. The small compartment on the top comes in handy for quick access items, like passport, pens, and travel documents. Never have an issue with the TSA checkpoints. Keep in mind though, that is for TSA only. When I was in Canada, I was reminded that that I had to remove my laptop. My 15.4" Macbook Pro just barely fits and have not had any issues. It keeps all of my items cozy and safe. The compartment for a iPad/tablet is great and all the little places to put items and keep them seperated is very welcome.

Some items that I wish were better:

More padding on the shoulder straps would be nice. When I have a lot of stuff in my bag, it does wear on my shoulder. It would proably be better if I wore both should straps, but for some reason I prefer just the one.

I wish the main compartment had a little more room.

The bag does not come with a handle passthrough to keep in on my luggage. This is definitely annoying and I should have been aware of this before buying. my fault.

My biggest complaint is that the front of the exterior (the leathery part) marks fairly easily when traveling. I am failry gentle with the bag, but going through airport security or being put in the overhead bins on an airplance, the front parts get marked up. It's not necessarily scratches the in the material... but scuff marks.... white scuff marks. The two bags I have had did the exact same thing. This makes the bag look worn very quickly.

I love the look of this bag, and alot of it's features, but unfortunately I may have to switch out for something different soon as the above problems are becoming annoying. They have some new bags out and I may check them out.

I received this Back Pack & was blown away with all its space & pockets. I had an issue with the strap that goes across the chest for stability when pac is full, I contacted Everki directly & they were as amazing in customer service as this backPac is on functionality. I travel all over the place & this pack does it all. I have also just purchased the Beacon Laptop Backpack W/ Gaming Console Sleeve Im not a gamer but the sleeve is amazing way to transport my files & paper work i must lug around with me from time to time.

Unisex Mountain Hardwear Hueco 34 Comfort Backpack

Mountain Hardwear Hueco 34 Backpack White One SizeLove this backpack. I use it as a commuter pack every day to work and back. I take my laptop with me and work on the train. It holds the laptop (15") nicely in the camelback sleeve. Also leaves room for other stuff, like clothes and shoes if I bike to the train station. Super clean looking. Almost went with the black, but glad I chose the white. Extra practical, and very stylish. And very high quality, durable material. I would recommend this pack to anyone commuting with a laptop that needs room for clothes and lunch, any commuter cyclist out there looking for an awesome pack, or even a backpacker looking to go day hiking. Although if I was using this for hiking I probably would go with the black so the dirt doesn't show.

I use this bag mainly for school. There are two issues with this pack; inside there are two pockets that run along the side of the bag. These pockets make it difficult to fit in a standard notebook without struggling for a moment. The zippered compartments on the top tend to make the bag slouch over, not a big deal, but occasionally annoying when you are trying to stand the bag up so you can quickly grab something.

Osprey Stratos 34 Backpack

Osprey Stratos 34 Backpack, Tarn Blue, LargeIf anything has become a commodity, it is the humble daypack. But with dozens to choose from, even down here in far flung Tasmania, I couldn't go pass the features of this pack which is not available locally. So I waited anxiously for my order to be filled, hoping it would survive the long trip down under. I needn't have worried. Within 2 weeks my pack arrived in perfect condition. I am not disappointed.

First of all the workmanship is perfect. Every zipper is cleanly sewn and all the stitching is pretty much flawless. The materials all appear to be first rate to my inexpert eyes. I wasn't aware when I ordered that Osprey offer an unconditional lifetime guarantee, so I'm pleased to think this purchase could be a sound investment.

I've already had this pack out in the field at least 8 or 9 times and it has proven to be comfortable and well balanced. Everything seems to be in pretty much the right place for me. I love the way the compression and adjustment straps all fall within reach. I like to constantly fine-tune the load between waist and shoulders (there's lots of steep up-and-down, boulder hopping and often bit of scrambling here in Tas). This pack is easy to adjust on the run.

I'm delighted with the product and the value. And, kudos to Amazon for (once again) great service and best price.

The pack fits very well. It has plenty of space for a day trip or minimalist 2 or 3 day. The pack's front pockets are keen and they finally made a pack with it's own built in rain cover! The pack is sturdy and the suspension system is great. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Osprey makes a great backpack. Lots of adjustments and pockets. The AirSpeed feature keeps the pack off my back and I love the waist support, which is the main reason I looked for a different pack in the first place.

Even though the pack was listed as used, it came in the original plastic and was never used. Good price. Count me satisfied.

This pack is excellent for warm-weather hiking because it curves away from your back and allows air to flow between the pack and your body. Even in cooler weather, you want moisture to dissipate as much as possible. I wish it had an external pouch or pocket to store a notebook or other small items, but otherwise, it is well-laid out. It may be a bit smaller than advertised, but the curved shape may contribute to the interior volume being less efficient than an equivalent volume rectangle book pack-style pack. It served me well for a long trek in Nepal. Highly recommended.

This is a great pack at a reasonable price. Many awesome features that other mfrs may have forgotten or ignored. Quite a step up from my old daypack that it replaces. Will get the Osprey hydration bladder to go with it next. Not a full-on complaint exactly, but something I would have preferred: the shoulder straps are not the same color fabric as the body of backpack. They are a lighter shade. Maybe this was the intended style choice, but kind of reminds me of a patchwork deal.

Oh, word to the wise, make sure you check Osprey's sizing guide BEFORE you buy! A proper fit can make a world of difference.
