They have a strange smell to them they has not gone away. If not for the smell then they would be good little bags.

Got these to use for packing purposes. They worked fine. Not nearly as nice as the Sea to Summit Mesh Bag, or better yet, the Outdoor Research set of 3 mesh bags, but they were still totally function and for half the price. The bigger stuff sack is pretty big too. I used it to carry dirty shoes and laundry in my backpack and as a laundry bag for carrying clothes to laundry mats. It could hold 10 lbs. of clothes for those trips There's also a handy carrying strap across the bottom which worked really nicely.

RE: the smell, they do have that manufactured-plastic smell to them, but it's not a huge deal. Definitely wouldn't have noticed it or commented on it, if it weren't for the histrionics of the previous reviewed.

I just picked this up at J&R a couple of days ago and its one of the best bags I've ever picked up. The fit is perfect for the MBP 15.4 (unibody) is perfect and the computer "pocket" is suspended internally. The interior dimensions are perfect for the extra gear I need to carry as well. The finish of the bag is solid. I like the little details, like the way the strap clips on and looks built in, or you can remove it and you would never know it had a strap.

The bag is easy to carry around in the subway, the handle is comfortable with a good amount of weight (MBP, 2 2.5" drives, cables, power, notebook, misc stuff).

Perhaps one of the most amazing things is that the bag is balanced. With the MBP, gear, etc, it stands upright. None of my other soft bags, including Brenthaven, Booq, and others do this. They all tip over. And this bag is only about 3-4 inches thick.

Ibex 17 Inch Notebook Backpack

First things first: has my removable pouch been stolen? coz i can't find it. ;) Maybe it's just another amazon error in the product description.

Down to the proper review:

There's no point repeating all the great features mentioned by others. You've read the other reviews: you know all about the fact that it's pretty much the only bag guaranteed to fit the large 17" laptops. In fact Dell sell it on their website as a bag that fits their 17inchers.

Here's a feature no one else has mentioned so far: unlike the Columbia Cyberpack, it has a plastic [fake leather] waterproof base so u can confidently place it on a wet/messy floor.

Someone mentioned the zippers not having zipper flaps to stop rain getting in. But we all know that those flaps over the zips can be awkward. I'm looking at my bag right now and i can see that there are flaps BENEATH the zipper on each side. So for rain to get in, it would have to get thru the zipper then thru the flap/ribbing directly [like 3mm] underneath. It's hard to describe what it is but it is water proof material beneath each side of the zip that closes together like drawn curtains when the zip is zippered shut.

NOT MENTIONED B4:

One nice visual aid is that the zippers for the main compartment are noticeably bigger than the others.

Also there is an apparently flimsy handle at the back behind the main handle. It's to hang the empty/lightly filled bag up on a hook. It took me about a minute to work out what it was for. :O

btw: the main handle is totally over-engineered but gorgeous: it is a very soft plastic and fabric handle surrounding a a steel wire handle which is itself coated in plastic. It's one mean looking handle.

One thing, I've noticed is that one of the shoulder straps is loose around the length adjuster and i have to keep tightening it up or the one for the right shoulder keeps getting longer and longer. I'm thinking of stitching it into the desired position but because i go to the gym and have aspirations of getting an upper body like John Cena's, i fear that if i stitch the shoulder straps into the present desired position that when [not if ;)] i get huge it would no longer fit across my back and I'd have to unstitch the straps and readjust to fit around my hopefully huge back. As you can imagine: i hope i do encounter this problem. It would be a small price to pay for looking like John Cena. ;)

btw: In comparison with the Columbia Cyberpack [a laptop backpack for up to 15-Inchers], that i also own, it doesn't have the Cyberpack's reflective elements useful for when walking at night.

Perhaps the quick pocket [the red-lined pouch near the handle] should have been made of luminous material on it's inside [instead of the red lining] to help find things in the dark when outside. I suggest keeping a small torch inside the small pocket inside the quick pocket.

The organiser/organizer panel in the front compartment elicits mixed feelings:

Pros:

I has two slots for credit cards. Good

A good mesh pocket to hold a battery powered shaver.

A good pen holding pocket.

Cons:

It has three pockets. good. but they are on top of each other so if you use all three it cause a bit of a bulge in the front pocket.

Also, there is a clip for key rings but the thing it so short it's hard to find and a lot more awkward than what it should be.

I suggest buying the "Victorinox 1679500 Army Knife Swiss Champ" to fit in the organiser panel. It has a pocket to fit it.

There are two problems I have had with notebook backpacks in the past. Number one was, that they say to be 17 inch compatible, but they actually do not fit larger than average 17 inch notebooks. Rest assured that this backpack will even fit the largest 17 inch laptops. I can fit the Dell XPS into it with no problems. The zipper line does not lie tensely over the corners of the notebook and does not create scratches.

Number two is the quality of the zippers. The zippers have to run smoothly, easily, and not come apart, split open, get stuck, or display other annoying dysfunctions. The zippers on this pack are of very good quality.

There is tons of auxiliary storage space. If I had a say in it, the shoulder straps could have a little more padding, but since it fits my large notebook, I will not deduct any stars this time.

This back pack is very good. Well made, sturdy for carrying all the weight. The two items missing that keep this from being a 5 star review are: no waist strap, With all this wieght in the pack this would help alot. 2nd is no rain flaps on the zippers. I am in Seattle and I am concerned over rain getting into the bag on the long daily commute.

17.5 inch laptop (10lbs) 4lb power brick. plus lunch, note book, paper work, coffee thermos, Oracle manual, Reading book. Yep, alot fits in this while staying compact.

This Ibex backpack is the very best backpack on the market for a 17" laptop, but it's slightly disappointing when you compare it side-by-side with the 15" Synergy backpack from this VERY SAME COMPANY! I don't understand why Wengar Swiss Gear doesn't simply make a 17" version of the Synergy backpack?

Right off the bat, I was disappointed to find out that this 17" backpack has FEWER POCKETS AND STORAGE COMPARTMENTS than the 15" backpack. How is that possible for a bag that's supposed to carry a LARGER laptop? My biggest disappointment, however, was that there is NO SMALL ZIPPER POCKET on the very front of the frontmost pocket. This pocket was so handy for quickly throwing in airplane tickets or itineraries or anything else that you need to grab quickly. Next, the zipper pockets on the 2 sides are absolutely tiny and can barely hold a pack of gum. Compare this with the 15" backpack, which has HUGE zipper pockets on the sides which stretch all the way down the side of the backpack... I used to store my digital camera and other big items in those side pockets.

However, after using this backpack for 2 years, I have grown to love it and I have yet to find any other backpacks that are BETTER than this one. So this is absolutely the best backpack on the market, but there's always room for improvement! :)

I'm ambivalent about this review.

The pros are that this backpack has a lot of room and carries everything well.

The cons are signficant.

1) if you are a semi-muscular person, the shoulder straps could hurt. The one thing that other owners of this knapsack have commented on is that this problem could be solved if Wenger had just put cross strap that crosses in front of one's chest and connects the two shoulder straps.

2) one of the shoulder straps has a place for a cell phone. There are a couple of problems with it. First, it is way too narrow to fit a smartphone (e.g. an iPhone or a BlackBerry). It can only fit an old-fashioned cell phone (i.e. a non-smartphone). Second, the bottom of this cell phone holder is a major weak spot for the knapsack. It broke apart after a month. The worst thing is that I've seen this exact same problem on several different Wenger backpacks.

3) the other shoulder strap has completely fallen apart.

Wenger needs to redesign the shoulder straps for their backpacks. They have a great product otherwise, but since many people are carrying laptops in their backpacks, shoulder straps that break apart endanger laptops. In contrast, I've had an L.L. Bean backpack for 10 years and have put them same amount of stuff in it. The shoulder straps are still intact, however, the Wenger backpack has better aesthetics.

NOTE: I have to write an update. If you want absolutely great customer service, then Wenger is the company. I went to their website and found the email address for the Warranty Department. I sent an email and they responded within 30 minutes. They asked for some readily available information and a few pics of the problem. I sent it to them and they responded within 30 minutes that I needed to pay $10 for shipping and handling by PayPal. I did this and they again sent me a reply email within 30 minutes that a replacement backpack was going to be sent to me. I received it the very next day. I did not have to waste any time or energy sending back the defective backpack, and now I have a perfect knapsack again. Wow! Truly A+ customer service.

I'm still unsure about the quality of this item, but no other company I've ever dealt with has the customer service of Wenger. This company totally deserves its excellent reputation.

If this backpack holds up, then I will revise and give it far more stars.

Alchemy Goods Urban Messenger Bag, Made from Recycled Bike Tubes

Where do I start with this great bag,

First of all it's huge, and can fit virtually as much gear as you can store in it. I travel often with my urban and am able to fit 2 day worth of clothes plus all my toiletries in the bag, as well as my laptop and 7 inch tablet. So if you're traveling it's an awesome bag as it is permissible as a carry-on bag.

Furthermore a lot of the little amenities really add to the bag. The front pocket on the huge flap, is bisected into two compartments allowing you to store items without all tumbling together, and the smaller pocket fits larger phones like a galaxy s2. The t-strap that comes standard really helps stabilize the bag wether you or running, walking, or bicycling making it easier to carry. The 4 pen slots also are helpful for those who use it as a work bag.

Of course the bag is waterproof, I've walked in a absolute downpour and all of my gear was easily protected and totally dry. It's also ridiculously rugged, it can withstand a beating and the bag conforms to the shape of the contents making it easy to store, and carry.

Speaking of carrying, even with massive weight the bag feels balanced and sits comfortably against your hip distributing its weight evenly, and the shoulder strap seatbelt is comfortable for hours.

I also love the choice of colors for the piping, and the ash interior provides a great contrast, making locating items very easy.

The Urban Is a bag i'll keep for years and will enjoy using everyday.

Also it's very eco conscious which means its not only a great bag, its great for the environment.

Alchemy Goods Urban Bag Rules

Just going to start out by saying this bag is fantastic! I had recently changed jobs and am now doing my commuting by either bike or walking. And living in Seattle our lovely waterlogged weather makes for a soggy commute. So I was on the hunt for a.)Something large enough to carry a laptop to and from work and b.)is waterproof.

Last year, I was looking for a new messenger bag to hold my laptop, lunch, and other various things for work. I have had my Ag urban messenger bag for a couple of days now, and I'm delighted with it.

I bought it because my leather satchel was taking a real beating, and after 4 years, I wanted an upgrade.

What did I want?

I wanted a bag that looked good, and that could hold a lot. I'm a teacher, so need to carry lots of marking etc. home with me.

I take my bag with me everywhere, so it had to be able to survive nights on the floors of pubs, music festivals, and anything else I chose to throw at it.

I'm having a baby in August, so also wanted something that could double up as a diaper/changing bag (and not look like one!)

I looked at a load of bags leather was ruled out pretty quickly as it doesn't wear as well, and wasn't enough of a departure from my satchel. There are some great messenger bags on the market, but I eventually chose the Urban.

Why the Ag Urban?

It looks very cool. I've only had it a couple of days, but already it has attracted some very positive comments from friends. You can still see the manufacturer details of some of the inner tubes that have been used, which is pretty cool.

It's a Tardis you really can fill it as much as you want. I can carry a laptop, A4 notebooks, files, lunch, kindle, keys, wallet, phone, and all the other bits and pieces needed for the day, and it doesn't come anywhere close to being full. The only limiting factor is how much you can carry!

The front zip pocket is really useful holds my phone and wallet so I can access them without opening the main compartment.

There is a compartment at the back designed for a laptop. It doesn't have any padding though, so you'll need a sleeve or cover. This will be very useful for storing a changing mat.

I really like the upcycling concept. 76% of the bag is made from recycled products, and supporting this very sustainable ethos is important to me. It's also nice to think that my bag has a whole history that is completely individual. The inner tubes and seatbelts used to make it will have travelled hundreds of miles in their lifetime, and now they have been reincarnated!

What's it like to live with?

Even when packed full, it's comfortable to carry. The T-strap is a great addition, and makes it very stable while spreading the weight evenly across your back.

Last night I was caught in a massive downpour, and everything inside was completely dry no need to worry about expensive electronics getting water-damaged.

It doesn't feel like a huge bag. You might expect something that can lug around 32 beer cans to flap about and be unwieldy, but the Urban doesn't. I'm happy just carrying my kindle and a notebook in it, using it as an everyday bag.

The only thing I might be tempted to add is a bit of padding to the strap, but I could just go out and buy one. In fact, I should probably get involved with the Alchemy Goods ethos and upcycle something of mine!

All in all, a fantastic purchase. If you need a big bag that looks great, this should be seriously considered.

I wrote up a great product review but I forgot to publish! So here it is to the best of my memory.

This bag is great. I abused it for 2.5 years and it finally broke because some dolt dropped a heavy object onto the plastic clip that controls the shoulder strap length. It is well made, but I think it hit at the right angle.

The positives:

-The bag is water repellant. It will withstand a light drizzle but don't go singing in the rain during Spring Texas showers.

-The bag is sleek and one of a kind.

-The shoulder strap is wide enough that it disperses the forces and makes it easier on the shoulder. This is a biggie. Too often have I had messenger bags dig into my shoulder and cause terrible pain.

-The bag is big. B I G big. It can fit a lot in it. It is deep, wide, and tall. I fit a 13" Macbook, books, and spirals in it. Oh, and I still had room. The limiting factor is the weight that you can carry.

-The interior does fine with coffee or other liquid spills. It drys out fine and you would have to worry about anything getting mucked up!

-There are interior pockets and pen holders along with a exterior pocket.

Negatives:

-The bag has a weight to it. Because of the material it isn't light like a feather, but because of the material it is very durable. The bag can withstand a beating.

I highly suggest this bag and thoroughly enjoyed the time I used it!

Jeep Diaper Bags Jeep TREND SPORT Back pack Diaper Bag

This diaper backpack is pretty impressive given its price. It stands upright (I found sagging diaper bag annoying), has two very large bottle holders (big enough for adult drinks), a mommy's/daddy's pocket in the front with 2 mesh pockets, and spacious main compartment with one zippered pocket, 2 small open pockets, and one large open pocket. The grab handle on the top is very handy. The back straps are padded and has built-in stroller clips. I just wish it has an extra storage pocket on the outside and padding on the back. The back doesn't have additional padding. If the designer place a pouch on the back(either inside or outside of the bag) to place the change pad in, it would provide some cushion for the back. Or the designer should just add cushion like normal backpack would have on the back.

I like this bag a lot....we've had it and used it daily for 6-7 months I'd say and it is my favorite bag to use as a diaper bag. It's plenty room I keep an AH GOO Baby changing pad in it, diapers, full size costco wipes, toys, exra clothes, trash bags, etc all in jus the big compartment. The front compartment is big enough for hair stuff, medicine, boogie wipes etc. My wallet can fit in the front part with stuff in there too. A couple downfalls, I hate the way the straps are. It's just odd on your back very high up. And just tonight, my strap finally ripped off the top. The construction of the straps just doesn't seem right for how much you can actually fit in this bag. Be prepared to do a little sewing I think...

We bought this to replace our Skip Hop diaper bag which finally gave out after 2 years of solid use and it's not even close to being useful. Several of the zippers broke within a week, the compartments are so poorly stitched together, and it's much smaller than it appears. Do yourself a favor and just buy a normal backpack with a laptop compartment instead.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He wanted a functional, but not too bulky back pack. So far the ful Free Fall'n backpack has proven to be both these things and he absolutely loves it. There's tons of space for both your laptop and books in the main compartment. Also, there's many side compartments for whatever storage one might need. If you need a functional backpack that's not too big, this is the one for you.

First, let me say that this backpack has not yet stood the test of time. I have had it for less than a week.

It does, however, look and feel like a well built and heavy duty backpack.

The backpack doesn't sag while you wear it, or pull/press on particular areas of the body. It feels like a solid mass which sits equally across the upper back. As such, it is very comfortable.

The bottom of the pack is made of a rubbery material which is thick and waterproof. You shouldn't worry about setting it down when the ground is wet.

As the other reviewer has noted, there are many small compartments throughout the pack. There are really more than I know what to do with. The large compartment currently contains my laptop (in a padded internal compartment) and my textbooks, including a hefty physics book. I haven't even touched the middle compartment yet, but I'm sure that I'll find something to do with it. It might be good for my field gear (i.e. rock hammer, etc.).

My one issue is that my laptop is 14.1". It fits very snugly in the laptop compartment with little if any wiggle room. This is great for me, but I don't know how you are going to fit a 17" laptop into it, as is advertised.

UPDATE 03/08/11:

I have now had this for a little over 5 months, exclusively for transporting school supplies. I haven't used it in any rough activity. Through normal use, the larger front pocket has gradually torn away just above the zipper for about the length of the zipper. A smaller tear is appearing in the small front-bottom pocket. A tear is also making an appearance near the zipper of the large pocket (which houses the laptop).

The laptop pocket appears to be sufficient, but the padding is nowhere near so. My Thinkpad's corner was cracked. I did not abuse it in any way, such as dropping it into the pocket haphazardly. Setting the backpack on the floor was enough for it to crack the corner of my $900 computer. That crack has grown to reveal parts of the circuit board.

I bought this backpack for $30, as it looked like a dependable and high quality backpack. I ended up with garbage and the inevitable loss of a really nice $900 dollar computer.

My 50 dollar Coleman backpack that this replaced lasted over 5 years, during which I used it for everything from carrying books and a computer around, to carrying 50lb of rocks from a quarry. It never reached nearly the same amount of damage as the Ful did, which never had the same abuse.

When I first got this bag I was sorta disappointed that it had only one big full size compartment [the next compartment by size is big, but has not width stitched into it]. But I've been using this one for close to a month now and its already been super useful. I changed apartments and I could pack this bag upo with so much stuff without the zippers being all stretched out and about to give. There are so many little pouches that I had no idea what I'd do with initially, but over time they've all got their reason. It looks alright and you can see that its a bigger that average bag, but the one draw back is that it takes a while to get used to on your back. Its comfortable even with heavy loads but coz of its unusual size it feels different than other bags you'd have worn on your back.

So now 4 months into using this bag, the left shoulder strap is ripping. The material is tearing, not the stitching. The surprising part is that I'm a right handed and if I ever pick the bag up with the straps, I use the right strap and that has no rip or any signs of giving! Also, I contacted FUL about this problem and haven't been getting very prompt response from them :( Sad, coz I liked this bag and might have to work a little harder to get the warranty validated which decreases my love for the bag..

I really like the backpack style and compartments but the description says it will fit up to a 17" laptop. I have a 16.5" and when I put it in the sleeve the flap doesn't cover the end and the zipper rubs against the corners. I also have to pull up on the zippers when closing it to get it to go over the corners.

Purchased this backpack for my son attending college and received the backpack in good condition. The backpack is the perfect size and has ample room for laptop, books and supplies my son needs to carry, without overpacking. However he has had the backpack for five weeks and the stitching has begun to fail and is coming apart at the seams. Very disappointed with the quality and poor construction of this backpack.

Well constructed and great size for a smaller kid. None of the pictures show the inside, which you can see a tiny sample of on the strap (sort of a gingham check), and the color is a lot paler in person, almost pink.

Quite different from the photo. In the photo, the bag looks elegant with hard sides holding straight and giving the bag its "square" allure (like a satchel). But the bag is actually made with a very soft (and padded!) fabric that wouldnt stand straight by itself. It sort of "sink" and looks more like a pillow than the photo would have let you guess. Since the tissue is padded , the bag feels like a cushion. Eventually the look of the bag is quite ordinary. If I knew that before I placed my order, I would have chosen a funnier tissue that would have given this bundle-like bag more style.

Was really hoping my girl would go for the darling robin's egg shade, but she asked for the pink. I'm pleasantly surprised: the shade is fresh, youthful, and sweet -like a pink geranium, not the sickening overdone hot pink of girls' departments far and wide. Super adorable, nice hand, too soon to predict durability, but it has as good a shot as any. The price and size were right for our two year old; nice tight cotton construction; and it's quite simple -no glom, no glitter, no noticeable label or logo. Simple, innocent, childlike -shouldn't be a rarity in the child industrial complex, but it so often is! So glad I found it.

This backpack is well made and adorable...but it isn't red. I ordered it for my son...and it was a pinkish-orange color. Definately more coral colored than red. I returned it and purchased a different one.

Incase CL60053 13" Terra Collection Sleeve (Powder Grey) Fits up to 13" MacBook Pro

I've bought 3 other cases for my MacBook Pro in the 2 years that I've had it, and none of them actually fit my Macbook like this case. I'm confident in the fit of my computer in my case. Also, my iPad fits in pocket on the front of this case, making it easy to take both.

Just received mine. Was a bit surprised when I unpacked it the color is a much darker grey than I expected. In the product pictures it looks more white than grey (at least on my monitors). I wouldn't even call it light grey, more like medium grey.

Other than that, it fits my Macbook Air 13 inch very well. The laptop can move just a tiny bit inside it, when it is closed. That also means it is easy to get it in and out and the zipper closes easily without running up against the metal of the laptop.

The edges seem thick enough to protect it from a modest fall maybe a few feet and certainly feel thick enough to protect the laptop inside my briefcase. At the thirty dollars I paid, I feel it was worth it.

I bought this item on the strength of the reviews. Having received the product I am disappointed. I rarely return items, but will in this case.

Even though the product number matches, I don't think I received what the others did. Mine does not convert to a stand, it is merely a sleeve with a zipper. I liked the fact it had an outside pocket for the ipad. One reviewer mentioned that the pocket has a flap to keep the ipad in place. Mine does not have that. I put my ipad it, turned the sleeve upside down and it promptly fell out.

Pros: Fits macbook air well, nice soft padding. It is as describled--blue cotton chambray liner, very reasonable price.

Cons: Not at attractive as the picture. Because of the material and the light color, I think this case would get dirty very quickly. As another reveiwer wrote, a strap would have been helpful.

Skip Hop Zoo Little Kid Luggage

I ordered this Skip-Hop travel tote before my two-year-old son's first plane ride to Lake Tahoe. I wanted something to store his snacks, toys, books, etc. for the flight, and liked that he could pull this, or we could use it as a backpack if he got tired of it. The nice parent strap feature on the back is perfect for restless toddlers who may not want to lug their own suitcase around for an extended period of time.

The suitcase arrived quickly and I was immediately impressed with the results. We already have the Skip-Hop backpack and lunchie, and I love the size and detail of each. I like that it zips the entire way around, creating easy access to pack and unpack, and like the juice pocket on the side, and small pouch on the front. Most of all, my son loved pulling it around, and felt very proud to have his very own suitcase for his very first vacation.

Fast forward to the airport and our first connecting flight in Chicago. We put my son in his stroller and as we went to use the parent strap, a plastic piece broke off, breaking the strap in half. It immediately became less functional, as we couldn't use it as a backpack and were forced to roll it behind our other luggage. We used it for a total of six hours and already the bag is shot! Since one of the reasons I purchased this was for the parent strap, I would have been better off buying the $20 plastic children's case at Target!

I recently purchased this for my son as an adorable addition to his set of the matching monkey backpack and lunchie (lunch bag) from the same line. I already love those two items and am initially impressed with this item as well. The luggage is appropriately sized for a child and it makes it fun for him to use when traveling. The wheels are easy to roll forwards or backwards and the item seems to be well-made for the price, as is typical for other Skip Hop items I've owned. The smaller front pocket has a divider that helps with organization and the cup/bottle holder on the side is a kid-friendly addition. Keep in mind that you can't have it filled with any liquids when going through an airport security line, though.

The big interior pocket of the bag is roomy enough to pack enough clothing for a child for a weekend trip. The parent strap makes it so you can easily sling the bag over a shoulder if the child gets tired of pushing/pulling it, but a more thoughtful detail would have been to include 2 straps so it could be carried as a backpack. I also think that the zipper pull details are a cute touch (bananas for the monkey bag. Other designs have design coordinating pulls as well.) Note that the pulls for the large compartment can get a little dirty and drag on the ground if they are zipped all the way down to the bottom corner of the bag. To avoid this, just make sure they are adjusted to be somewhere else when zipping the bag shut.

The bag is very lightweight on its own. It also has a detail that's not pictured on the stock photos here on Amazon: there's a little tab on the center of the back of the bag to tuck the parent strap away when not in use. This keeps it from swinging around and getting in the way.

I'll update my review in a few months after I've used the bag a bit more, but I'm glad I made the purchase for now.

This is perfect for my toddler. We got it when he was almost 2 and he loved it immediately. He pushes it through the airport himself, and plays with it while we're waiting at the gate. Love that it fits under the seat or above. I really have no complaints about this! I used spray-on scotch guard on it and it still looks perfect after several trips and lots of playing with it at home.

We go on A LOT of road trips. So far this sweet little suitcase has weathered many storms, bumps and drops. The wheels and zippers are extremely sturdy as I have come to expect from any of the excellent Skip Hop products.

Bought this bag for a leisure trip and am now using as my work and gym bag combined together. The best feature of the bag is the back support system and the straps in front that allow you to distribute the weight equally along your back and avoid all weight from falling on the shoulders. If you are very sensitive to weight on the shoulders, this is a great bag.

The back compartment with the laptop sleeve allows enough room for my laptop, documents and accessories. The other big compartment in the middle is just the right size to pack my gym clothes, shoes and toiletries. Smaller pockets in the front and sides great for wallet, keys, access cards, pens and other small knick-knacks. I was looking for a bag that I could travel with and then also use on a daily basis to take a single bag to work. This fits the bill better bang for the buck.

This backpack is great! It has everything in the written description, and while I use this for travel and school, I will probably use it for outdoor adventure soon. My only problem was that the color is not as pictured in the sample pictures. I have added a photo that shows what the grey/aqua color actually looks like.

My son was looking for a larger back back for middle school. This backpack has a large back pocket that will fit a 3" binder along with books and composition books for each subject. It has many other smaller pockets to stash flash drives, gym clothes, etc. The shoulder straps are well padded and the part of the pack that is against my son's back has breathable webbing.
