This item could not have been better. It's slightly large for my 14" Toshiba but when I'm carrying it around offices, bldgs, it's perfect. Price could not be better!

I got this sleeve when I purchased the 14 inch Toshiba laptop and it has potected my laptop very well. I found it to be very durable and sturdy. It is well covered and the elastic bands hold it securely in place when it is snug inside the sleeve. I feel as if I am carrying a large college notebook or folder because that is how it looks when I hold it. I would definitely recommend this to a 14 inch laptop owner who does not want the flimsy zipper cases that just looks pretty.

This is a great sleeve to grab your laptop and go. It closes seamlessly through a tiny magnet on the cover. The sleeve's material provides enough protection for any 12-14 inch laptop. Not really padded at the corners and it does not have any foam insulation ... so it would not probably handle too much pressure very well.

The sleeve I received was not the one pictured in the photo. It has a crappy magnets holding together the sleeves. They hardly hold my laptop in the pocket. Also I have a 13 inch portege that is very thin and it barely fits in this 14 inch sleeve. Plus this thing is not the most visually appeasing sleeve... its ugly. Just go spend a couple extra bucks and get what you really want instead of settling.

While getting the job done to transport my iPad and other miscellaneous stuff, this bag was made of cheap material. The velcro inside ripped right off, there's a lot of loose threads that is leading eventually to holes and rips on the bag. For the price you get what you paid for, I wouldn't recommend this bag for long term use. Also the side pocket fits small bottles, nothing regular and again, is at risk to rip when you shove something in there. I'm already looking a new bag with better material and quality. Oh yeah, the iPad inside the sleeve inside wanders around and moves a lot, not secured in there. Padding on the back is decent but could damage your iPad if not careful. And the strap is one way.going from left to right on your shoulder from the back. Can't reverse it the other way, which makes getting the ipad out of your bag difficult while still attached to you. You'd have to take the whole backpack off to get to the zipper and iPad. Disappointing.

I recently purchased this item and had to return it because in spite of the claims that it was fully adjustable, it would not fit my motorcycle. The seller refused to pay return postage, and then charged an additional 20% restocking fee. It cost me over $30 and a lot of hassle just to be back where I started. I can understand maybe one or the other, but "restocking" in addition to return postage is excessive. I will not be shopping with them again and honestly question whether I will continue to shop online.

I bought this bag as an "around town" bag insead of carrying my CTB-950 King Tourer. This bag is nearly as big is the CTB-950! The top loading feature is really nice and it has an enourmous amount of space. I will use it a while and then update my input as I get more experience with it

Update I used this bag for about 6 months and one of the side pocket zippers separated! I contacted Nelson Rigg and they gave me a return authorization. I just dont want to spend the time packing it up and then be without it while they are repairing or replacing it.

I purchased this tail bag after lusting after my buddies all summer long. Nelson -Rigg is a great quality product line and the CTB-350 is no exception.

I personally like the stiffeners in the sides that let it keep its shape even when nothing is packed inside.

It's an excellent value, the velco straps used to fasten it to the backrest/sissy bar are massive enough to hold it in place no matter how much stuff is packed into it, and it comes with even more tie-downs AND a rain cover!!

I owned one of these bags for a couple years. It worked fine until recently. While using the bag it became detached from my bike, damaging a valuable item inside. When I wrote the company about this issue, and mentioned that I need to contact the Better Business Bureau simply for consumer advice, they immediately became defensive. The company expressed no real symptathy, or concern, for the damaged item, they only cared about covering their own interests in the matter of the item. I just got back from a 4 day trek through the Olympics with my brand new Tadita. The most impressive thing about this pack was its flexibility. We had to pack 2 weeks worth of general vacation gear into the pack and I was really impressed with how easy it was to handle even crammed to it's limit. During our actual treks I carried about 30-35 lbs of gear with ease. I'm a petite 5'2" so it's really essential that I don't get overweighed. This pack was easy to adjust and distributed the weight really well, I never felt uncomfortable. My favorite use of the pack was for ultralite day hikes that we took from basecamp and back. I removed the top compartment (love this feature)and used the built in secondary lid straps to cover the top opening in the pack. I then used the large front pouch to carry all the easy access stuff like snacks and bug spray. My complaints about the bag are few, but pertain mostly to the straps and not actual functionality. The secondary lid flap (non-technical name)is really handy for ultralite, but if the top compartment is attached it's kind of an unfinished detail and doesn't really have anywhere to stow away. I had the same problem with the straps in the front pocket. It's nice that I can cinch down the sides of the bag, but all the straps are kind of a mess in the front pocket. I also had a problem with the side pockets being too short for carrying extra water bottles. I just ended up strapping them down. My boyfriend ended up with the men's version of this pack and he didn't have any problems with bottles as I did.

Ok, so overall conclusion is that I loved this pack. It was flexible without sacrificing functionality, which is a hard thing to achieve. Super durable and dependable bag. I would definitely recommend this.

My son loves this backpack. It is so adorable and sturdy. The front of it has bright colors and and the characters are just adorable. It is a cool lenticular scratch surface. It's sturdy enough to handle the load of a kindergarten load to 2nd grade. Very hard to find in stores.

The picture and colors are great. What little Star Wars fan wouldn't love it? After less than 1 month of school, I had to sew up 4 places where it was ripping out. Now another month into school, both of the zippers are messed up.

My son is in kindergarten, so he's not carrying heavy loads back and forth to school. I only spent $15, but it wasn't worth it.

My son was so excited to get his new backpack he is a huge Star Wars fan! He loves the backpack and has had it one week, taking it everywhere he goes. I read the reviews and was a little concerned about the quality. I have been on a career-long quest for the perfect carry-on bag, and I could open a luggage store with what I've bought and used once before rejecting. I wanted something that would hold my cosmetic bag and laptop along with a phone, Kindle, headphones, iPod, camera (along with all the associated cords/chargers), water bottle etc. and it had to fit under the seat on the airplane so everything would be easily accessible. This is it!! It holds all I named with space left over and it's light, thanks to not having wheels, which it doesn't need because it's so comfortable to carry on your back. The bag is very thoughtfully designed except for one thing. Why didn't they think to sew in a couple of loops so you could clip something bulky (like a neck pillow) to the outside? Oh, well, nothing in life is perfect but this is very close!

This is the best back pack I've ever owned for work. There are multiple compartments, all easily accessible. It's never been more efficient to get my lap top in and out for TSA screening at the airport. I was skeptical given the price was about $50, but this back pack has clearly exceeded my expectations and I'd recommend it to any business person who travels.

This is definitely the top loading laptop pocket not the side loading like in the picture, but I like the top loading.

The bag is awesome! The main compartment is very spacious and separate from the laptop pocket. The materials are very high quality and I can tell it its going to last a long time. It retailed for over $250 when it first came out.

Tons of pockets and compartments, a sunglasses holder pocket, mp3 player pocket, tablet pocket, and an mp3 pocket on the shoulder strap too.

This bag is the perfect size for traveling, not big and bulky but still plenty of storage space. Its medium size for a backpack.

My only complaint is the two back pockets are kind of flat so they won't hold much more than pens chargers and cords. If you need two big compartments this is not the right bag for you, but if you need one main compartment and a ton of smaller pockets compartments and secret chambers you've found it!

I had seen this backpack at another local store and loved it. Then, I've checked and ordered it at Amazon.com. Just like the first one I saw at the store and this one on the picture, I expected it to have a side pocket/compartment to fit a computer in. I ordered this bag and my expectations about this item was just what I thought it would be. It is a good size, even just slightly larger then I really wanted, but it works well for me. I use it to pack into a large backpack, to take some gym clothes with me to work. It takes up some of my space so it is tight, but it gets the job done. The bag material is pretty tough and looks like it will last awhile. I have not used the audio port, but there is an extra storage area that is useable for that or something valuable if need be. I would recommend it.

This bag seems to have everything I need for the rainy Seattle walking commute. It seems quite strong, the straps are plentiful and padded, and there is another zipper pocket inside. It's a great size and very attractive. Lot's of reflectivity for the early and late walking-in-the-dark times. I cannot comment on durability, as I've not put it to the test yet.

Update #1: Took the train (crowded) and then walked for 30 minutes. This bag is working great. The straps are sturdy and comfortable. I carried a number of thick technical books, some rain gear, presentable shoes and my lunch. The bag was heavy, but did not feel so on my back. I am using a small pouch (not included) to hold things like glasses, wallet and keys, and to keep them on top for easy access.

Update #2: This thing has been loaded with 50lbs of books and other stuff and then carried (very) comfortably for over a mile. It's getting heavy use every day and coming through like a champ. I probably won't update this review anymore. If you want a strong, comfortable drybag backpack, buy this one.

If you've never owned a dry bag, I recommend you buy one. It's great for any aquatics activity. and prevents water damage. No water will get in, unless you completely submerge it. The back support, straps, and attention to detail, could use some improvement.The bag can hold a descent amount of weight, and the interior is fully lined. Overall its descent quality.

It feels very water tight and maybe great for taking on a boat on a rainy day. It looks and feels clumsy. You will have to watch out for fashion police (like your teen age kids) if you wear it anywhere.

It took me a while to figure out how to close the bag up water tight. I was thinking of returning it but I think I will keep it for taking on the boat.

If function is all that is important to you then this is the backpack for you.

I have yet to be disappointed by Thule products...why? Thule makes quality, durable products that consumers need. Yes, you will spend more money for Thule products but I can't see what there would be to complain about.

This particular back pack is built for a 17 inch MacBook Pro/10 Inch tablets. I have an older HP Pavillion that fits just fine, along with an iPad and Kindle-all these (and more) fit fine in this bag. Not to mention there is plenty of room for all the "extras" people take with them. I use this bag for commuting to and from work and errands; I use it for a few extra books, chargers, water bottles, phone, sunglasses, sun block, and lunch. The pack holds all this and there is plenty of room for more.

The pack itself is heavy nylon; it feels thick, not a cheap thin material that might be more apt to wear holes in the bottom or sides. The metal zippers and straps are heavy metal, not plastic where there might be a higher chance of breakage. The back of the pack that is against your back is padded, so even if you are hauling a heavy load, you have less chance of something poking you in the back when you shift. The pack also has stabilizer straps to keep the pack in place. I personally do not use them, but I know my kids find these can be helpful when biking or carrying heavy loads. The best part of the pack is the "Safe Zone" located at the top front of the pack. It is perfect for a phone, sunglasses or camera because it is made with a hard outer shell that keeps items inside from getting smashed. I love that they thought of this AND it works perfect and is easy to get too.

Whether this is the exact "design" you are looking for, keep Thule in mind, I have yet to have a problem with their products. I know I sound like a salesman, but the products truly are quality. I have not had to call customer service or file any sort of complaint with the company. So I cannot report on how well their customer service is at this company. Hopefully, I never will need to call them!

This is the perfect commuter daypack for busy people who need to have a 15" laptop/ notebook with them. The outer cover against the back is well-padded, providing a laptop protection from drops, hits or whatnot. A center compartment can carry the cords and other accessories, and a third outer compartment can carry smaller stuff like cellphone/charger, sunglasses and other business-related stuff. A "Safe Zone" on the outer side is for fragile or smaller items and is nicely padded against slams, drops or hard hits in that area.

When this pack is fully loaded it spreads out nicely but does not hamper movement, as the sides to this pack are narrow.

The pack is, as shown, all black with some blue zipper covers. Empty this pack weighs 2.4 pounds, so that alone should limit the use to urban commuting with electronics. This would not be a good gym bag as none of the compartments are large for bulky items, nor would this be an ideal backpack for day hikes for the same reason because most of the padding is centered against the back to protect a laptop. I also would not recommend this as a carry-on for the same reasons already stated unless you are a minimalist. The best use for this pack is for the office person or commuter.

Compression straps on the side help keep the load streamlined. There is one small mesh pouch on either side of the pack for 16-ounce water bottles.

The color is basic black, which is ideal for business environments.

As far as the construction goes, this backpack seems quite sturdy. It has adjustable chest and hip straps for stability. it also has front to back straps to compress the volume if the pack is not full. The sections that are padded are quite sturdy, and there are loads of pockets. A semi-hard pocket is on the outside for easy accessibility of sunglasses or a small electronic device.

Unfortunately, the chest strap will not go high enough to avoid pinching a female chest, and the straps over the shoulders are way too broad for me. Also the shoulder straps are too long for my shorter torso and cannot be adjusted to fit, even at the tightest adjustment.

This would probably be a great pack for a gentleman carrying an ipad or laptop, but it just didn't work for my short torso and fuller figured frame.

I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone who needs to transport laptops or electronic equipment. The construction is such that it is excellent quality and padded to protect. The storage is not the typical that would be found in a regular backpack, but is laid out for electronics. Enjoy!

This is an awesome backpack. I previously used a very large backpack for vacation. This one I used for the first time on a weeklong dive trip. I fit 4 books, 1 MacBook Pro, a package of cables, one camera, several pens and a bunch of snacks into it.

One of the coolest things about the backpack is it has a hard case on the top to protect sunglasses. My wife had recently just bought me a pair of sunglasses and I wasn't sure how I was going to transport them. This backpack got them there and back safe and sound

The pack is very comfortable to wear and has a lot of cushioning to protect the laptop and to provide comfort on your back. The material is very high-quality and I expect this backpack to last a long time. Overall I think this thing is a great buy.

Dakine Girls Wonder Back Pack

I ordered this bag for bike rides and day hikes and I couldn't be happier.

It's small and lightweight without any extraneous pockets (one mesh one on each side and one small fleece-lined at the top for small items like sunglasses or your cellphone). The outside bungee and straps are perfect for taking along a sweater or small coat without wasting valuable interior space. The outside straps were the number one thing I wanted but the best feature of all a waist strap! You can't see it in any of the photos I found online but it was a great surprise when I took it out of the box.

I'm 5'7" and it fits great. The straps are comfortable and it doesn't feel like a child's backpack at all to me.

I looked at a lot of bags and this one stood out for size, price and features and did not disappoint. And, it's completely adorable too.

I purchased a Dakine backpack at a local shop at the mall and did not like the pattern, therefore causing me to order this backpack, with comparable dimensions. The backpack I bought in store was much larger than this one, and had a lot more pockets and room for a laptop as well as enough space for at least 3-4 books. Although it says this backpack is 18 x 12 x 6-inches, it is much smaller than you would think! Just not what I was looking for.

This backpack is definietly for a little girl. I originally bought this for myself. The measurements of the bag are a good size and theoretically should have fit me. Although due to the cut of it, it was just too tight and uncomfortable. It cut into my shoulders. I was going to return it. I bought it from Ace Photo Digital through the Amazon Marketplace. They would not offer a return shipping lable & wanted me to pay the return shipping with tracking which would have been half of the purchase price. So I decided to give it as a gift to a little girl. She really loves it!

Beware you may have to wait longer than the promised delivery date. The backpack works ok outdoors but not so well indoors. I could not get the panel to charge in artificial lighting, maybe you need a 300watt spotlight?
