This pack has traveled on a day hike through the Sierra Nevadas as well as several airports to get me to the mountains. It's extremely comfortable (I'm 5'8", 135 lbs), holds more than enough gear/food/water for a full day on the trails, yet has plenty of pockets for urban traveling too. I haven't had need for the rain cover yet. Love that it's a fun color. Best pack I've ever owned.

Looking forward to using this pack on the Camino de Santiago. Large enough to fit a compact sleeping bag and all essentials. Nice fit and great look.

I was skeptical about buying this bag because it's just a sleeve so I figured you could only fit your laptop and was worried I wouldn't have room for my laptop charger (nonetheless my wireless mouse), but I not only fit both of those things comfortably in it but I also got some notebooks in there. It comes with a hanging strap for your arm too. I love this bag so far. I didn't think that little pocket in the front would even fit a sheet of paper, but it fits my laptop charger and mouse in there, or you can put them inside the main part. Either way, it fits plenty of stuff. The foamy outside (or whatever material that is) has been protection enough for my laptop!

I first saw these 5.11 Tactical backpacks when I was in Iraq. Many of the US contractors carried them. When I got home I needed to replace my tired, old backpack that had served me well for five years, but which was going threadbare.

I'm very happy with this tactical bag, it's very well made, the stitching is superior, there are lots of internal pouches and zippered compartments. The large section of the back is big enough for a full change of clothes; jeans, shirt, socks, underwear and room for a dopp kit. The outer pouches have many little compartments for your iPod, gloves, keys, passport, etc. and there are plenty of straps for attaching carbiners and assorted equipment. The harness is also well made and distributes the weight in the bag evenly over your shoulder. There is also a chest strap to keep the pack from shifting.

All in all a very well made backpack that I would recommend to anyone looking for a good weekend bag.

Disney Brave Full Size Backpack - Bow and Arrow

We purchased this backpack for our daughters 7th birthday. It was a LOT larger than I expected and very roomy. Even the two outside pockets were nice and large. The thing that impressed me most was the construction not cheap stitching like most bags. A little large for a 1st grader but it should last her for at least the rest of this year into the next.

Osprey Sojourn 25 Inch/60L Pack

I've been using my Osprey Sojourn 25 on a round the world trip. I'm 2 months in so far and have given it a pretty good workout through 4 countries and 15 cities. I've dragged it on all sorts of pavements from smooth granite to cobblestones to dirt without any issues. The pack has large wheels that perform really well even when the pavement falters.

Features that I really like:

Large wheels makes rolling on challenging pavement a lot easier

Compression straps secures the top and prevents the zipper from moving (an extra security measure)

Balanced side handle Makes carrying the suitcase easy

Straps I tried the straps once in Istanbul when it was raining and I had to carry my umbrella as well, worked great! although that is the only time I used my straps, I roll it 99% of the time due to the large wheels

Light weight the suitcase weighs 7.5 lbs if I remember correctly, for a framed pack that is very light

Curved frame contoured to fit on your back

Features that could use some improvement:

External pocket There is no external pocket. I wish there was a small external pocket for quick access to things like maps etc.

Overall, this is a fantastic pack and I am totally satisfied. Osprey also guarantees these packs for life so that is comforting. So far I am loving it.

My partner and I each bought this pack to travel for 3 weeks in South East Asia (Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore), and hopefully to South America next. We chose the Osprey Sojourn 60 L pack because we both have bad backs and would rather have a versatile back pack that allows u to wheel our stuff around where we have the choice!

The wheels are well designed for rough terrain and did fine where there is pavement, kerbs or dirt tracks. We also used the harness quite a few times while walking on beaches, getting on/off long boats, walking through jungle, and up long interminable staircases in cheap hotels without lifts! They were fine and in no way less comfy than the 70 L travel backpacks i used in the past! Although it may not be the best thing to trek for days on end (although I would still give this a go to find out), it worked just fine for a few hours at a time.

During our trip, we met several fellow travellers who had the same pack, and every time they couldn't help come and tell us how great and useful they are! Other travellers thought the packs looked very cool, and were very jealous that we could wheel them around while they had to carry their stuff. As for carrying capacity, i had just under 20 kg of stuff in the bag at the end of the trip and it was easy enough to pack and fit with ease. In addition, the packs were fine to bring in a luxury 5 star hotel, they didn't look dingy at all.

In terms of the pack's quality and design, the attention to detail and workmanship is outstanding, and with the lifetime warranty i have absolutely no regrets! I've already converted a couple of backpacker friends in buying these because of their versatility, ease and simplicity. I do recommend getting the rain cover as this saved us during heavy rains when mud and rain was everywhere! Also, I was debating whether I should get the Meridian range as it comes with a built-in daypack, but luckily I found it very easy to use my own 25L daypack and balance it in the front. There are D-clips and a courier attachment at the back of the pack that you can use to attach a separate daypack should you wish but i found that offsets my balance too much. Having it at the front is a good way to counter-weigh the pack and makes it easy to get your money, map, etc. out quickly.

All in all, I would highly recommend this pack for those who like to do some adventure travel and expect a combination of rough, off the beaten track trips and staying in well-developed cities and nice hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to use this to visit my parents in Europe for a month or for an adventure trip to Laos!

Didn't really run it through tough terrain so can't report on it's durability. Wheels and handle feel sturdy and well-made. Removed the backpack harness and hip belt to lighten the overall weight since we weren't going to be hiking with it. Packed to full capacity, I can't imagine carrying it on my back using the provided harness and belt for any extended period of time.

It was a little less of a structured case than I anticipated (I wasn't really looking for a duffel), but it did have reinforced sides and expanded to fit everything we packed plus all of our souvenirs from a 4 country European tour. Bought the Eagle Creek Pack-it World Traveler set which provided the structure that the bag was lacking. I used the interior and exterior straps for compression and nothing moved at all within the bag, even on the way home with lots of boxes and bags inside.

The orange color was great when hunting for luggage on the baggage carousel!

High Sierra 4-Inch Cargo Duffel Cargo Duffel

I purchased this duffel as a gift for my boyfriend. I was super nervous when I ordered because there were only a few ratings, and they were not very positive. Turns out, it was not a problem.

I have not personally used the bag, but boyfriend loves it! He loves that all of the compartments zip off, and that they are very easy to use. It comes with so many doo-dads, I don't even know how it works, but he really enjoys it. He travels casually about once a month and needs a duffel to carry clothes, shoes, toiletries, but nothing like suits or ties. He says it fits his needs perfectly, and the only thing he would improve would be more padding/pockets in the backpack.

This is a very affordable, good quality gift for someone who needs a casual traveling bag. I would never buy this bag for myself (instructions are not straightforward and nonexistant, no pockets for personal items like pads or jewelry, high heels might puncture bag material, zippers are somewhat difficult to grasp with nails), but it seems great for the guy in my life.

After a lot of web research, we decided to buy this bag for our upcoming summer trip to Italy. We didn't want to take our NorthFaces Expedition (too heavy) or our Samsonite 4 weels (too bulk). We wanted a duffel that could hold it all with a maximum of adaptability. Well, this duffel is as beautiful as expected and the design is unique and versatile. The quality, however, is poor (simple stated). The material is very tiny. The zippers, except from the one at the top of the bag, are small and look quite weak (don't know how long they will last). The details are bad, with lots of small sewing errors. The handles, also, do not appear to be strongly connected to the bag (really don't think they will hold a lot of weight). Anyway, may be I am too much biased by the quality of Samsonite, TheNorthFace and Musto. I was expecting the same here. It is not. If you want REAL quality luggage, this is not one.

I love the idea for the duffle bag, but they REALLY need to work on the quality of the materials! The main material is very light, thin, and cheap feeling and is not waterproof. After one use, one of the side zippers started separating. The bag is also not as large as expected, due to the fact that it is divided into the 3 sections, it takes away from the capacity. I had planned to take it on a trip, but I doubt if it would survive the flight since we all know how 'careful' baggage handlers are with luggage!

Samsonite Luggage Xenon 2 Backpack

I recently decided to switch from a computer bag to a backpack for my business travel (2-3x per month).

I looked at quite a few backpacks (online mostly) and decided the Xenon 2 was the one for me principally because it featured a strap to connect to the handle on my roll-aboard (or so I thought).

The bag has lots of nice features and appears to be well made. It does sit upright when you set it down, that is a plus.

Oddly though, the strap is too narrow to fit over the handle of the rolling bag and therefore is of no use what a drag!

Also, inexplicably for a business bag, there is no where to hang your keys. Every backpack I have ever seen has one of these.

Well, nothing is perfect, I guess. I was going to send it back after I saw the strap would not work, but the other features and room were good and I liked the TSA friendly computer sleeve, so I am sticking with it and just continuing to hold it onto the rolling bag manually.

The Samsonite Xenon 2 Backpack is perfect for any person that prefers a pack that is rugged, refined, organized and has a great look to it! I looked at over a hundred (no exaggeration) packs. I needed one that gave me easy access to all of my folders, supplies and laptop. The Xenon 2 was definitely the right choice! Plenty of pockets, most of them padded for added security for other electronic devices, the folder slots in the main compartment are reinforced and sturdy, not flimsy fabric folder slots like on other packs. The padded laptop slot is easily adjustable and locks your laptop in like its fort knox Lol! I can fit all of my books, laptop and all of my supplies including drinks and snacks inside. The pack is just the right size, not too large, not too small. The back pads and shoulder straps have very thick and comfortable padding. The external side pockets have rugged elastic in them so they stretch to fit drink bottles. Im very pleased with my purchase.

okay well, i bought this as a gift for my husband cos the previous one I got for him died on us after 10 years of use.

I'll just say that this bag is definitely one that grows on you rather than one that is a love at first sight type of bag. The reasons why you kinda go right, huh, bag are

1. The bag is a little bulky with all the padding

2. The handle on top is very obvious and doesn't just flush into the top of the bag

3. The bag is a little heavy even when empty

The reason why you would then quickly come to love it, especially the user:

1. The compartment for laptop promises that you might not even need to take it out of the bag at the airport cos the bag opens up flat

2. The compartment in the centre holds a decent amount of documents and keeps everything pretty much neat (rather than dog ear your soft files)

3. The front compartment with the bits for your phones and is well designed

4. It is very comfortable when you have to carry your laptop and files on your back all that padding for bulk apparently is for your own good

5. Your laptop looks very happy and snug where it is strapped down

So, you know it doesn't overwhelm you at first sight but once you actually use it the reaction is kinda like huh, who knew ... you're quite the bag after all.

Just got back from 3 weeks exploring Uganda, Africa with this pack. It was AMAZING! Used it as a carry-on and carry-all....it protected everything I carried perfectly. I bought this because I have arthritis in my shoulders and had to give up my nice Coach bags. I was looking for something dressy, yet something I could carry on my back. I was very happy when this arrived. It is a beautiful, soft red leather and I get many compliments on it. The quality is equal to that of my Coach bags, and this is something I carry everyday. I love it. Most backpacks are too cumbersome and not very classy looking. This one is class all the way.

I have a black Pacsafe Toursafe Sling/Backpack that I have loved and used for a long time. It has faded with age, the top loop has torn out, the zipper is failing, and replacements are unavailable as this item has been discontinued.

I wanted a new backpack with approximately the same dimensions, style and features as my old one, and Overland Sheepskin Company's Teadrop Multi Zip Leather Backpack fit the bill very nicely! The Overland backpack is a bit smaller than my old backpack, but that's a plus since the old one was a bit too big. The leather is soft and pliable but durable, and it is dyed a rich, deep black that does not rub off onto my clothing. The stitching is tidy and sturdy, and the bag is fully and neatly lined with lightweight grey fabric. The leather straps don't constantly slip through the buckles like the fabric straps on my old backpack did, so I don't need to constantly readjust the fit! The clip for keys is indispensable, as I constantly misplaced my keys until I put them on a chain and fastened them to my old backpack. The numerous zippered pockets are essential for neatly storing the various necessities I carry about. The bag shipped promptly, was securely packaged, and arrived quickly.

Unfortunately, neither of the two internal open pouches is large enough to accommodate my smartphone. It does fit in the inner and outer horizontally zippered pockets, though not in the vertically zippered ones. A conventional mobile phone would fit in either open pouch, but since I don't have one, I'm using the open pouches to store my mini flashlight and my coffee shop card.

I am very pleased with the company's prompt service and the backpack's high quality! Highly recommended!

This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It is beautiful to the hand and eye. The size is just right. I can fit my iPad, small camera and other things in the main compartment and smaller items in the 2 front zipper compartments. I put my cell phone and sometimes my wallet in the back zippered pocket for security and can slip papers or other thin items in the snapped back pocket. With all of that inside, it is still comfortable to carry without putting too much pressure on my shoulders even after hours of walking. My son adores this backpack (and all things Ben 10). However, at four, it's almost as big as he is. No problem, he'll grow into it. But what bothers me is the two zippered comparents have zippers that feel cheap and as if they are going to snag or break or run off track at any time. They are not smooth. I tried a bit of dry bar soap on the zippers which made them move a bit more smoothly, but that's just a cheap, temporary fix.

If you are going to get this, consider it short term...I will update the review if it does break, but I'm guessing he'll only get a couple months out of this backpack.

I love this backpack. The interior is really nice and it has enough room for a laptop and 3-4 more books/notebooks. It's a little too tight for my computer and my books (which is why I took a star off); but, I was able to fit all my things in it. I researched fishing backpacks from many manufacturers, the big fly fishing names and the common outdoors companies. I can tell you after 6 months of hard use, this is a must have fly fishing accessory. In fact, after using it for only one month, I went back to Amazon and ordered a second one for my teenage son. We hike into a couple rivers and lakes at home in CO. My reason for original purchase was I scheduled to worked on a project in CA for 8 months and my company expensed me an out of state fishing license for the duration. I need a pack that I planned to use a lot. I fished every weekend and two to three evenings a week. This pack was always with me. It has ample room for all your needs. I carried my waders in the lower compartment, boots above (switch it to hold my tennis shoes when I was hiking upstream in my waders), two fly rods, one on each side, top compartment (in hood)with license, head light, hat, gloves, camera, and cell phone. The large top compartment keeps lunch, water, extra reels/spools, first aid kit, and when hiking in/out, my Orvis Sling Pack, fishing tools lanyard, and spare socks. I can honestly say that I put at least 80 miles on this pack this year and it still looks like the day it was new. I have had no mal functions, broken straps or split seams. The shoulder and waist straps offer full adjustment and it is quite comfortable to wear, even when actually fishing. What I also like is that the inner compartments are kept dry from the separate boot and wader compartments. When I get home, I just take out the waders and boots, and then next trip update my lunch and water and I am good to go. Gear stayed in it most of the time except for the occasional cleaning sessions of line, reels, rods, etc. I did find this at Bass Pro Shops and looked at it in person before coming to Amazon and ordering it (for $30 less!!!!!!). The ballistic nylon is very durable and lightweight and all stress points are reinforced. I can tell you, it has been a long time since I have found a product I feel so strongly about. Get one. You will not be disappointed.

I recieved the Backpack more quickly than expected and it arrived in pristine condition. However, upon opening I was rather disappointed. I quickly assembled my gear and took the pack for a test hike before taking it on a backpacking trip this Summer.

Pros:

-Bag is solidly constructed. The seams were well-stiched, and all components, buckles, and straps were high quality.

-High visibility liner worked as advertised. It did make finding components in the upper pack easier.

-Dual rod tube storage. I liked the storage mechanism and straps for the rod tubes. I'm confident that these will hold up to years of repeated abuse on hike-ins.

Cons:

-Bag is smaller than I thought it would be. The wader compartment barely fit my stocking foot waders (Size L, Boot Size 11). I actually had to stuff them in the wader compartment rather than being able to fold them properly. Boot foot waders will NOT fit. Likewise, if you wear an XL or tall wader, you're probably out of luck as well. The changing mat takes up valuable space and is quite heavy duty and thus, heavy.

-Shoe storage. At first glimpse, the shoe storage on the outside seems like a clever idea. However, the shoes are more or less "pushed" into the storage area by the elastic straps. Hence, storage capcity is reduced in the main compartment. I was able to stuff the main compartment full, but this resulted in shoes sticking out a full foot behind me, catching nearly every branch and sapling in the forest.

-Straps. While high quality, there are a ton of straps and buckles. Perhaps mine is defective, but I counted an uneven number of male and female buckles. Even if there were a full compliment of buckles, I still wouldn't be able to tell you where each goes. To say the buckle system is confusing is an understatement. However, this is not a true con--just an annoyance.

-Belt and carriage. I did not like the way the pack sat on my back/hips/waist. It tended to ride higher on the back than I would have preferred. The belt padding was shorter than I like--too much web belt, not enough padded belt. Additionally, the shoulder straps seemed like they were designed for a taller person (I'm 5'9").

While great for a day hike out to your favorite stream, these fell short of my expectations for a one-pack-to-rule-them-all overnight backpack. I will probably look for a larger pack with less hanging straps and more room for waders.

Functional little case. It does the job without being too bulky in my book bag. The zipper is smooth doesn't make much noise when zipping/unzipping in class. I've had it for about 2.5 months now and not one scratch on my laptop to date. And it's so cute!

I purchased this bag for two reasons. One, I was tired of my purse slipping off my shoulder & two, I have back problems and needed to keep my body balanced. This bag is terrific. It fits easily under my arm and the rubber material attached to the underside of the top part of the strap really anchors it to my shoulder. Inside is extremely organized with places for everything and a silver lining that helps me to see the contents immediately. The microfiber is easy to wipe off which is great after throwing it down on the floor of the car. I only wish they made this is a tan color which would look great with anything.Zappos of course delivered it in one day. I don't shop anywhere else online.

The vendor, Best Services, substituted the plain Healthy Back Bag for the more expensive I Love My Life version with the embroidery shown in the ad. The previous reviewer said the same thing and I guess I fell for it as well. Again, they put a sticker for what I ordered on top of the correct sticker saying what it actually was. Amazon was very cooperative about the return and I trust the refund will be quick. But what a disappointment. Don't be fooled. Amazon should take down this ad.

I gave it one star, not for the quality of the bag which looks great. It will hold my iPad and everything else I want and is well made. The strap doesn't slip off my shoulder. But this bait and switch is not good.

I can tell from the quality of the microfiber bag that was delivered that the "I Love My Life" bag might have been pretty good. However, that is not what Best Service Stores sent. Interesting to note that someone actually applied the "I Love My Life" SKU label ON TOP OF the correct label which stated that it was the "Classic" microfiber bag. So, refund and return it is. I have ordered another bag from another vendor as a result. Please note that I am giving this one star and that star belongs to Amazon because their customer service (Hi, Ankit!) was awesome. The vendor is not one I will frequent ever again because of the labeling. I believe they were trying to pass off a less expensive bag as the "I Love My Life" bag which was really goofy considering that there is supposed to be embroidery on both front and back of the bag that says (oddly enough) "I Love My Life." Bad vendor.

The product is the same as one I already own that I have used until it is starting to get holes in it. I order this one because I liked the embroidery on the side. However, the one I received has no embroidery at all. I think I remember reading that this was a possibility when ordering the product on one of the reviews.

So if you order this, just know you may not get the same product as the picture. The bag itself is the same just no added embroidery like the picture.

Overall, the purse is one of my favorites since I've had one like this for more than 10 years now. But disappointed in receiving the plain bag.
