I bought this to use on a trip to Disneyland. It is great for storing tickets, and ID's. The main reason I bought it is to store my cell phone. I put my phone in it, and set on vibrate. It's the best way to hear your phone in the park. It's confortable and works very well. I like it so much I bought another one formy daughter's cell phone.

I was skeptical about buying this bag because it's just a sleeve so I figured you could only fit your laptop and was worried I wouldn't have room for my laptop charger (nonetheless my wireless mouse), but I not only fit both of those things comfortably in it but I also got some notebooks in there. It comes with a hanging strap for your arm too. I love this bag so far. I didn't think that little pocket in the front would even fit a sheet of paper, but it fits my laptop charger and mouse in there, or you can put them inside the main part. Either way, it fits plenty of stuff. The foamy outside (or whatever material that is) has been protection enough for my laptop!

This has all the pockets I need and I especially love that the tablet pocket is not directly connected to the laptop pocket so there is less chance of them jolting against each other in a rough situation. I also love how padded the laptop zip up pocket is. To be honest, I gave this pack the ultimate test while fully loaded with all my technology, including cell phone and mifi in their own little pockets, I launched the pack across the room verdict? I ordered this for my boyfriend. He chose the "Northwest" checkered black and gray pattern. Shipping was fine, and came when stated. The color they sent was a gray bag with green trim/zippers. Which I don't see on this listing even. Thankfully, my boyfriend was okay with it. Instead of going through the exchange process, he decided just to keep the bag.

The suitcase is as described and pictured. It has 2 compartments on either side for shoe storage, or separate storage from the main compartment. One thing I didn't like was that it didn't have the straps on the inside to hold your clothing/items in one spot. I would imagine if you didn't fill this suitcase up, your stuff would just flop around. It is a fairly large size, but not too big. We will be taking this to Europe, I will update this review to see how it performs.

Oakley Icon Pack 3.0

I use this bag for just about everything, but especially for carrying books to and from school. It comfortable and has a large amount of room. I like the design other than the laptop pocket. I don't use the laptop pocket because there is barely any padding there. Instead I put my laptop in a case in the main pocket and use the laptop pocket for folders.

Perhaps the one thing that has bugged my the most about this bag is that the seams along the zipper are not good at all. I originally ordered the bag and within two days of light use the bag was literally falling apart at the seam. So I sent it back and it took Oakley almost 2 months to get the bag back to me. By that time school was almost over. The new bag I've been using for almost three months and I thought everything was fine and awesome.... but then recently I've had the same exact problem. The seam has a huge hole in it which is only getting better.

Its not a bad backpack, but the price is way too high for the quality (or lack of) you are getting. I ordered my bag off of Oakley's Standard Issue Website expecting anything off of that website to be of high quality since the website is designed for military and service personel, but I was unfortunately disappointed.

I hate to bad mouth, but the truth is I'm not very impressed with the bag or with the customer service I got from Oakley.

I wasn't into the oakley brand till lately i noticed that some of their products and style beats better than having generic stuff. Anyway, I received this backpack on a deal i found on an other site. Bought it and decided if I hated it, i could always sell it for what I paid for if not a little more. Value-wise, i think this backpack even when used can still be sold for a decent price. Not like cheap wally-mart type where once you buy, its basically impossible to sell.

The materials used on this backpack is surprisingly well made. I've had a fair amount of weight on this backpack and haven't felt or seen any straps or stitching breaking off. I even searched online for other reviews and read upon a review of a guy who owned the 2.0 version and he said it he had it for about 3 years carrying his surfing gear etc and said its still holding up.

If you are planning to use this as a school backpack, it is possible but based on the design despite the fact it has a laptop holder, but because of the holes on the bottom (to drip out water from wet stuff) and lots of mesh pocket/pocket on the outside and interior of the backpack>, I feel like its made for outdoor activity to air out stuff. The backpack is capable of holding 3200 cu inches so there's plenty of space to store clothing, books, tools, or whatever combination you want.

Value, durability, and style is what this backpack is all about. If you can find a deal on this backpack, I'd say its well worth the investment as this backpack can probably last even if you abuse it.

I bought this bag about 6 months ago. Love it...it looks really solid. After six months the seams start tearing !! I paid $163 AFTER TAXES for this bag. Tried sending it to Oakley, and guess what? Their warranty is only for 90 days PLUS they dont do any repair services. I mean come on! This is a very expensive bag. I bet if i had bought a cheaper brand it would have lasted longer. I bought this bag through Amazon after I first saw it at retail some time ago and fell in love with the way it looks. When I first got the bag through the courier, I was thrilled! But, but but but. But I found out that the side zip for laptop does not actually have sufficient space for the 15" MacBook Pro to be inserted through. You can put the MBP through the main compartment but not through the side zip. It was a dealbreaker for me and I returned it. Sadly though.

This bag is crap. If I could give it zero stars I would. I purchased it to carry my books for law school and my MacBook, I had it just over 90-days and the seams at the bottom are splitting (really bad fabric) to the point where I cannot carry anything in the bag. The sidezipper for laptop access has come open twice spilling my laptop both times. So now I have to buy a new laptop and a new bag. Not happy that e-bags will not return the bag either. They should allow returns for faulty workmanship for much longer than 60-days. So caveat emptor do not buy Oakley bags or shop from e-bags.

Columbia Elite One Technical Daypack

I got this backpack because a friend has one and I was able to see that it is: sturdy, has much room, a computer pocket, and superior ventilation for my back. I did some research and found that Columbia, as far as I could tell, is the only manufacturer to really try to get some venting built into their backpacks. For years I have gone around with a sweaty back and thought of all the heat that was being trapped by my backpacks and usefulness a well vented backpack would have. This backpack really seems to have a well thought out ventilation system built into it. Upon receiving my bag and yanking/ pulling on it in ways I did not wish to with my friend's bag I found it to be more robust than I had remembered. Over all it is seems to be well worth the money.

There are only two things I found that bug me. One is that the bottom of the backpack is rounded so it has to be set against the wall or laid on the floor because it will not stand up on its own. The other is that Compass Blue is much brighter than it appears in the picture. That isn't the fault of the backpack or of Columbia it just is what it is. Bright blue

I ride a bike to work and use this backpack for my work clothes, shoes, towel etc. and often my laptop too.

My commute is usually less than 20min and the weather sealing keeps all moisture out. There is plenty of space, the laptop compartment is neat and really inconspicuous . The shoulder straps are good and although I don't usually use the waist belt it's nice to have it for when I take the backpack on hikes. (It's not padded but I wouldn't want a padded belt on my commute pack anyway)

All in all it's a quality bag, I haven't found any fault with it and you can tell some thought went into making it.

I bought this bag for my son last year for school. Not only is is into its second year but signs of wear and tear are minimal. Which is amazing considering what my boy does with his bag.

If you can't find a Jansport pack to perfectly fit your needs, then you must be extremely picky about color or something.

This pack is very simple, which is just what my son needed this year. Our kids can go through several brand-x packs in a year without even trying, but have NEVER been able to destroy a Jansport pack. This backpack is awesome. Its durable, very good feeling on the back and shoulders, and isn't bulky beyond all reason. This can be a drawback if you're looking to haul around three large textbooks and some notebooks. Its got space for a laptop, one-ish textbooks, and some folders and notebooks. There are only two pockets, minus a wallet/cell phone pouch on top. One for the bulky stuff and one with internal little pockets, one about IPod Touch size with a velcro cover strap. This amount of gear real-estate has worked wonderfully for this senior in high school, and I'd highly recommend it to other people looking for a person with appropriate sizing needs.

I have the backpack version and left it in direct sunlight on a clear day for 2 hours. I repeated the same procedure the next day.

After 4 hours of charging, the removable and rechargeable battery had no charge. 4 hours should yield enough power from the surface area of

this panel to re-power a small battery on a cell phone or otherwise but this was not the case. After 4 hours of direct UVA/B light, the battery remained

uncharged. It's a handsome backpack but the cargo space is poor. The problem with this and many other products is that the battery does not

just once. The battery sold with this bag is typical in that it does not hold its charge. However it is atypical in that it does not charge hardly at all.

It's not worth half of its vanity price. I would want a clear return policy for any solar-powered device. This was a gift. The U.S. military has successfully

developed solar-powered field-tested flexible solar-powering sheeting and will hopefully soon share that technology with the average consumer. The sooner they

do, the less crippled we feel by the cost of expensive gasoline and fighting expensive wars. Solar power is patriotic.

ellington Annie 3151 Backpack

I have this bag in purple with green trim from at least 5 years ago, and it gets frequent use in my bag rotation. It's true that it's not a textbook-sized backpack, but it is a perfect everyday bag for a shopper, tourist, city dweller, or light day-hiker or bicyclist. As I am a teacher, I generally carry a giant bag as well, full of books and planners, but this works for me on the weekdays as a cute, carry-all-my-personal-necessities purse, and on weekends for a day on the town or in the country. I can fit a sandwich, apple, two 16-oz. water bottles in side pockets, my wallet, cell phone, small make-up bag and keys on the handy-dandy fob with its own pocket. In the rear slip pocket, I also carry one of my Circa notebooks, which measures 7 inches by 9 inches, and about an inch and a half thick OR a good-sized paperback OR my Sony tablet/iPad. This bag is lightweight, waterand dirt-resistant, and very cute with many open and zippered pockets to keep many more small items than I have listed (tissues, grocery lists, Chapstick, a comb, etc.). I love that it can convert from purse to backpack in about 2 seconds, although I do mainly use it as a purse for everyday/work, only selecting the backpack option when I'm carrying it all day long, for city or country hikes.

The other great thing is, I have owned and used this bag for several years and it still looks brand new! That is why I have had this orange version on my wish list for over a year now I can't really justify buying another one when my original is still perfect! So, I had to put in a plug, because this is a great bag and I do own several other Ellington bags as well, so I can really attest to the quality, construction and amazingly thoughtful placement of various pockets in each one I own. They ALL seem to be made to last as well, not just in terms of durability, but in terms of fashion and practicality even the bags I have owned for 15+ years somehow just happen to have pockets that are perfect for iPhones/the new Android phones.

Cannot even fit a college (paper notebook) in it, so I do not think it should be considered a back pack. More like a purse.

This preschool-sized backpack suits its purpose. The lunchbox doesn't fit too well because of the smaller size of the backpack, so we generally carry the lunchbox separate. The side pouches for drinks are a great bonus. The one thing I would change it to have double-zipper pulls on the main backpack compartment. Never would have thought it to be necessary, but given this is a preschool-sized backpack and somethings need to stick out of the top on occassion, a double-zipper pull would be perfect. Not a deal breaker, though.

My 4-year-old son uses this backpack Monday through Friday at preschool. It's used mostly for carrying his stuffed puppy dog and some art work but once in a while we will pack a change of clothes inside. It's plenty big and fits him well enough but the edges of the bag are starting to show wear and tear after just a couple of months of use. Also, our son has a hard time getting his Kleen Kanteen water bottles (the smaller sippy cup size) in the side pockets. They could be a bit bigger.

I was looking for a backpack since I had been using the same one for a couple of years. The average backpack was 30-40$ which is why I decided on this as I read a review it was pretty much the same material as more popular backpacks and it also looks the same minus logo. The front pocket is a big large but to me it's all the better as I have lots of accessories that I store there like pens, charger for my laptop, and my phone. One thing I don't like is the little ring on the upper right corner of the backpack next to the main zipper. I don't really get it's purpose and it would probably look better if they didn't waste any material adding on this useless piece not to mention save some money while producing this product. It's a great backpack alternative for those who are looking for a cheaper product but still retain great qualities of the more expensive variety.

Fjallraven Kanken Backpack

I have been using these bags since I first bought one in Stockholm almost ten years ago. The design is great--they are very lightweight, comfortable with reasonable loads, and obviously classic looking. Unfortunately they are overpriced for what they are. I bought a new bag about a month ago and I'm not impressed with the durability. It seems like the prices have gone up a lot without any increase in manufacturing quality. For a small daypack that costs $75, you'd expect it to be something better made than a Wal-Mart item. But the fabric on the inside started fraying immediately and now a small hole has appeared on the bottom of the pack. I love these bags for their style and function, but I really feel a bit stupid for paying so much for a bag that look so beat up after only a month of use. I've never gotten a hole in any of my other backpacks, even ones I've use for multiday trips in the backcountry.

Unfortunately these packs are now a fashion item, so Fjallraven can double the prices, send the manufacturing to the cheapest factories, and people will still buy them. Note that this $75 schoolchildren's backpack is made in Vietnam, not Sweden.

I used to use messenger and tote bags before buying my Kanken, and it is probably the most resilient, well-designed, and downright greatest bag for carrying around my university campus.

It's original and practical. Most backpacks have rounded tops, which I never found useful for anything, but the rectangular design on this is just right for books. Inside, there is a tall pocket in the back which is useful for little essentials like eyedrops, altoids, and toiletries you'd rather not have out in the open every time you open the bag. Retrieving items from inside is made exceptionally easy, partly due to the rectangular shape and the easy with which the front can be folded down. There's room for about three 1.5'' binders or two 1.5'' binders and one 14'' laptop. Outside, the front pocket offers enough room for a phone, wallet, and keys. The two pockets on the sides I often use for a small umbrella and a disposable water bottle. My favorite part is that the zippers are quality YKK zips and don't have or need the dangling tassels many backpacks have, which often fray or fall off anyway.

The only real con is that the straps are not padded and easily chafe bare skin (but in terms of design, the thinness is nice and is less bulky than, say, Jansport Straps)...if you're in Europe, there are a lot of stores that sell padded straps as an accessory, though they're harder to find in the US. Also, if you're looking to carry more than one huge, heavy textbook, I don't recommend this since it's not especially large. It's not waterproof, only slightly water-resistant, and I would recommend buying wax to coat it on days with heavy rain; it can easily get soaked BUT it dries up relatively quickly, doesn't warp, and isn't prone to stains--from either wet or dry elements. I have never had to clean it and it's only slightly dirty on the bottom (my own fault) and have not yet needed to sew anything up for any reason.

In terms of durability, the quality is really impeccable. I've owned mine for more than a year now, taken it to university, through crowded NYC public transportation, and on numerous vacations and the zippers and most of the seams are very much the same as when I bought it.

All in all, I love this backpack and I've spent a lot of time looking at new backpacks for school only to end up wanting to get another Kanken in a different color.

This is an updated review: after packing for a trip i am really surprised on how big this backpack is. Originally I said it was smaller than I thought. It wasn't until I started to pack I realize the size of this thing. I am able to fit 5 days worth of clothes a laptop and more in it. There are tons of pockets. I was a little worried when they said it would fit my 13 in macbook because I have a case around it. With the backpack being new I had to push it in just a little but it fits like a glove. Would recommend this product for anybody that is looking for a well made, nice looking backpack.

When I bought this backpack, I was looking for a nice looking backpack but also one that could last long enough to resist my frequent trips. The day I started using it I discovered some loose stitches in the upper part of the shoulder strap but I didn't really paid attention to it. After some days later I also found loose stitches in the load lifter strap. Now, after two months of use, looks like a five year old backpack. I was expecting for the price I paid and the well known brand, a high quality product. I am very disappointed.
