I was skeptical about buying this bag because it's just a sleeve so I figured you could only fit your laptop and was worried I wouldn't have room for my laptop charger (nonetheless my wireless mouse), but I not only fit both of those things comfortably in it but I also got some notebooks in there. It comes with a hanging strap for your arm too. I love this bag so far. I didn't think that little pocket in the front would even fit a sheet of paper, but it fits my laptop charger and mouse in there, or you can put them inside the main part. Either way, it fits plenty of stuff. The foamy outside (or whatever material that is) has been protection enough for my laptop!

I am very happy with this backpack because I was really looking for a purse-size pack. This is 13" high, 10" wide (at the bottom, it narrows down a little toward the top), and about 2-1/2" deep. The main compartment is very nicely padded, so if you do want to carry an electronic tablet or e-reader, it would be very well protected. That is the compartment closest to your body. The secondary compartment includes one large and two small pockets plus two slots for pens. In front is a small zippered pocket you can see in the photo. An iPhone fits in there perfectly, or you could keep your keys or anything small in there. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. I have narrow shoulders, so I really like the shape of these straps, they never feel as if they will slide off. It's a very nice looking bag. I like it so much, I also ordered the Sherpani Access Le Backpack in the sangria color; that bag is a little larger for days when I have more to carry. I've had a hard time finding a nice, well-priced, good looking backpack/purse, so I thought if these really are "limited edition" (le), I would splurge and get them both. Hope they last a long time. If not, I will edit this post.

This backpack is roomy enough, but I find the shoulder straps to be stiff and not so comfortable. Since I do a lot of hiking, comfort is important to me.

Stephen Joseph Girls 2-6X Go Go Bag

3 yrs ago, I bought a go-go backpack for my oldest daughter's first year of school. It was an adorable butterfly design and we loved it. It held her Stephen Joseph lunchbox, daily folder, library book, jacket, water bottle and nap towel every day. The backpack lasted from August to May and then the bottom began tearing on the edges.

We loved that backpack so naturally when my youngest was set to start school this year, I looked to Stephen Joseph.

And unfortunately, minus the adorable ballet design this backpack is terrible. Especially for the premium price we paid.

The backpack dimensions have changed and are extremely narrow and short. My youngest daughter's daily folder does not fit unless we bend the top edges of the folder in so we can zip it. That is how short this backpack is. It is impossible to squeeze a nap towel, water bottle and jacket into this pack as long as it holds her Stephen Joseph lunchbox (which is a must!). The sizing is completely useless for school. It would be fine for one change of clothes (possibly shoes too depending on the style and size) and a snack but that's it.

Also, the straps began fraying within the first week of use. Simply from pulling the straps on and off my child's shoulders.

What a shame, because I was so excited over this pack (she begged me for the ballet design go-go backpack ALL Summer!). I LOVE Stephen Joseph's designs (LOVE LOVE!) but the quality and dimensions of this backpack are very disappointing. :(

This backpack is so cute, especially monogrammed, but I've been disappointed how quickly it has worn. We used it for one school year (me carrying it the whole time my daughter is 1) and its straps have frayed badly. The zipper pull also is coming apart. And this is while I'm carrying it I can't imagine how badly it would do with a rowdy kiddo!

I love the design and sweet details but I have to admit, I'm a little leery of this brand now. We have the matching lunchbox and it is cheaply made too.

I purchased the small chair for my 3 year old, but it was too small for her to sit comfortably. I decided to give it to my 16 month old instead, for when we watch her big sister play soccer, but she refuses to sit in it. She can't just stand in front of it and sit down in it because it's a little too high for her, and it tips over every time she tries to get out of it herself. The chair is adorable and great quality, but it doesn't seem to fit our needs. I would try the medium for 3 yrs and up.

Very cute camo chair. However, the description indicated that it was a youth chair but it is more like a toddler chair. I purchased it for my 7 year old son and it was way too small. Would be perfect for a 3-4 year old. I had to return it for a larger size. Great product though.

I read the reviews before I purchased the chairs. I looked at the measurements listed in the description. Even with this knowledge, I still was not prepared for how small these chairs really are. Part of the problem, I believe, is that the chairs have an over-sized "papasan chair" look to them, when in actuality, they are not. I purchased 2 medium chairs for my sons who are 2 and 4. The chairs are sized perfectly for my 4 year old and the 2 year old can easily use his as well. The medium chair is listed at 23", but the seat is maybe 14" off the ground max. The quality seems great. Sturdy fabric, nice cushioning and really adorable. I wish they had one in my size!

Though the main storage area is a little small, you aren't going to find a better backpack for the price. I only have one complaint: I bought this as a replacement for the exact same model that I lost. However, this newer one isn't quite as high-quality as the older model. The old backpack had a water-resistant coating on the inside which I loved, and this newer one is just regular nylon.

The backpack is very beautiful and a nice large size for school. My daughter loved it. Kelty Tactical Peregrine 1800 Backpack

I was torn between this pack and the Kelty Map3500. I decided to go with this pack because of the smaller size, and I'm very pleased with my choice. I would consider the sizing of this bag to be the same as a standard Jansport backpack. The quality of the bag is very high. The stitching is clean and uniform without any loose ends or stray threads. The material used in the construction of the bag feels sturdy without being heavy duty overkill. The shoulder straps are nicely padded without being overly soft. There is a chest strap with a small section of elastic for just the right amount of give. The shoulder straps are also adjustable at the top where they attach to the bag with very heavy duty Velcro. There is also a waist belt, which is 1 inch webbing. The waist belt is removable. The back of the bag is channeled to promote breathability. The back padding is soft, but not overly soft. It is also mesh covered.

The interior of the main compartment has a laptop/hydration bladder sleeve. There is a hydration tube port at the center of the top of the back. My 11" netbook will fit in the sleeve with plenty of room to spare. The front organizer pocket has 4 pen sleeves, one zippered mesh pocket, 2 divided slip pockets, and one large slip pocket. There is also a fleece lined sunglasses pouch in the front pocket. This pouch is held closed with Velcro. On the very front of the bag there is a zippered compartment that would be great for storing smaller, quick access items, or perhaps a lightweight jacket. The daisy chain on the front of the bag seems quite robust with very nice stitching. Also, there is one mesh water bottle slip pocket on each side of the bag. These pockets are held closed with elastic.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy this, or the larger Kelty Map3500 bag, again!

I've had high hopes for this backpack, especially that it was designed for military/tactical purposes. Maybe it was.. to carry light gear. It's just too flimsy compared to real mil-spec packs. The material nylon that it's made out of is not that durable. Most of the pack is single stitched. I can't imagine carrying heavy load in this pack or putting it through rough field use. The design of the overall compartments is very good. Some pockets here and there. Side pockets for bottles. Straps are ok but are not quick release. Zippers are not as heavy duty as they should be. Made overseas. All in all, it's a decent pack. Deffinately not up to military standards. 3.5 stars.

Additionally, the organizer pockets/pouches in the medium sized storage area are pretty versitile. The water bottle holders on each side are a nice touch. The bag seems to hold a lot more than one would think. I'd buy another one if I had it to do over again.

Samsonite Luggage Stratford Backpack

Feels durable. Great size for my 3rd grader. Has some pockets inside to put his homework folder in. It's not as Royal Blue as it looks in the photo, however. More of a Navy Blue. My son is a huge Whovian, so we were hoping it would be Tardis blue, as I ended up sewing Doctor Who patches on it for him. But it's a really great color still, and holds up well. Fits comfortably. This is a great backpack. I ordered it to replace my old Jansport bag (which was still in great shape, but I grew tired of the color). I can fit several textbooks and a laptop in it, although sometimes it is a tight squeeze. The side pouches for water bottles are great, my old pack did not have these and I was always worried a bottle might bust and ruin books/papers. The straps are cushioned and comfortable. I am, however, giving it only four stars because the color is much different than what is shown in the picture. The pack pictured is a very vibrant purple, while the real thing is a much more muted purple. Still attractive, but not what I was expecting.

I bought it for daily use in university. When I received the bag, it seemed to me that it was durable and pretty good. But when I went out with it , the problem came up. Because of the one strap design, it is not comfortable enough. And if you hold heavy stuffs like a laptop, the only one strap leaves your shoulder too much burden.

So I ended up returning this backpack though really like the quality. Hope that this one will come out with a two strap version.

First day I used this the buckle that holds the strap on wouldn't hold under little force. The Messenger Bag is part of that older kid line that is "crafty" but still cool. This is a roomy bag with two large inside pockets, a smaller outside side pocket (for a water bottle or other gear) and a inside cover strap that clips the top flap to the main bag.

The canvas-type material is strong enough to be used as a school book bag. The adjustable shoulder strap provides a wide and comfortable fit. My daughter and I walk over a mile to school every morning and she finds this bag easy to carry.

In the bag alone, you are buying value; in the coloring portion, you have buying fun. And this bag was a lot of fun for my daughter to color. She used the enclosed markers to complete the project. I would recommend selecting your own array of waterproof markers such as the Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Markers, 12 Colored Markersfor richer color coverage and saturation.

Kids this age want to be noticed. This bag gives them a way through which to express their creative sides and still be cool.

I purchased this item in early July (2011) and it's already damaged and inoperable. Admittedly, I travel a lot (130K miles this year & counting) but this item didn't even last six months. I purchased this for my 8 year old for this upcoming school year she seen it and really liked the artwork on it so I got it for her. She has yet to use it yet so I really cant say anything about the durability of the bag but I can say that I highly doubt that it will make it through the year. It looks and feels cheaply made, it is also quite small so it would be good for a child with very little to carry around but would steer clear of this bag for someone that needs to tote around multiple books of any sort, the front pocket isn't even big enough to hold a zippered pencil bag.

All in all, my daughter likes the colors and design and she is really happy with it, I however knowing what I know now would NOT reorder a bag from this brand!

Clik Elite Probody Sport Camera Backpack

Backpack is unreal. I have had it for just over two months now and have used it primarily as a hiking day pack.

Camera bay has room for a full size SLR (lens attached with a hood), batteries, filters and other small items and two spaces for lenses (large super-telephoto lenses may have some trouble fitting) or a flash. It holds everything very securely and nothing bounces around. Padded areas can be moved around as well and the entire compartment can be zipped out and the backpack can be made in to a regular hiking bag. Tripod carry is a little small... but I can see the same compartment doubling as an external shovel storage really well (spade removed) for the winter.

Top (main) compartment has room for a light jacket or sweater (rolled), water bottle, food and a few other small items. Not huge but as big as it needs to be to carry any essential items on a short hike.

Side pocket is pretty small and can't hold much... keys, batteries, SD cards. I don't really use it too much but I also haven't ever thought, "This backpack is great but I really wish this side pocket was bigger".

Top pocket holds licence, credit cards, etc. I would describe it as small sunglasses sized. Holds what I need it to.

Outer pocket holds a water bottle securely.

Backpack is extremely comfortable. Straps are amazing. Sits perfectly once it is on and requires little readjustment as you hike. Space for a bladder, though I don't use one, is a nice option. Had to use the rain cover once and it worked well... seems quality (though I was by no means walking in a monsoon).

Overall... best backpack I have owned. Low profile, compact and well designed; holds everything you need it to with no extra space. Buy it if you are looking for a good technical day pack that also holds your SLR. Looking forward to taking it out in the winter. Strikes me as an easy bag to ski/ride with.

I spent about a week comparing bags online trying to find the perfect one. I was looking for something to hold at least my 3 lenses ( 50mm, 10-22mm & 28-135mm ), my body ( 60d ), have a separate section for other things and have a place for a water reservoir. The problem with almost all the bags I looked at was that it was painfully apparent that they were designed to hold cameras and everything else seemed to be an afterthought. (Including comfort)

Fortunately the pro ( and compact ) sport break this mold. I originally bought both the compact and the pro models, but ended up returning the compact because everything fit a bit too tightly for my taste. The Pro Sport is really comfy, and has tons of room for gear. ( I could easily fit another telephoto + prime + flash on top of my current gear ) The lenses and camera are well protected and the amount of non camera space available is more than enough to fit snacks, a couple kindles and even some cold weather gear. If you're looking for a bag that is perfect for a long day excursion, you'd be hard pressed to do better than the Clik Elite Probody sport.

On a recent ski trip the buckle for the waist strap got shut in a car door and broke. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new buckle for free!

Pros:

1) Very well built. Material, zippers, padding are of the best quality.

2) Rain cover is useful

3) Holds Canon SLR w/ 24-70 mm lens attached, flash and extra 17-55 mm lens

4) The best shoulder straps I ever had. Backpack was very comfortable even after a few hours of walk.

5) Padding in the camera compartment was sufficient to protect the equipment.

6) Second compartment is not big but can easily hold a light rain jacket.

Cons:

1) Except for one small compartment on the top, there is nothing to keep small items, such as wallet, iPod, pen, etc. That's quite disappointing as I was planning to have a combination of a daily pack and a photo backpack.

2) Open side mesh pocket is not suitable for water bottle, as it is way to small to hold anything but a map. This is a big minus for me, as I'm not using water bladder.

3) Mesh pocket on the front is pretty much useless, as it's too small to hold something big and too loose to hold something small.

Other thoughts:

I would prefer mesh pockets on the waist belt.

Although I did appreciate quality and ergonomics, I had to return the backpack as I was looking for more "daily pack features" than CE708 has. I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for something to carry camera gear.

in the little time that i've had this pack i've put it through quite a bit of torture. it's held my D7000, lens, sd card case, bladder, hunting supplies, radio/gps, and i still had room. it's been pulled through thick brush and up through trees while hunting. great comfort from the back and straps.

I spent a while researching various sport oriented camera backpacks and i kept coming back to this one. It has all the features i need for my uses (mainly mountain biking) such as, a separate bladder compartment, enough space for various tools, pump, and a well padded camera compartment. However once i received the backpack, i soon realized the camera compartment in my opinion does not have enough padding. Specifically the flap that gains access to your camera. With my 60D mounted to a 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Lens, and a Flash and 50mm F/1.8 in the other pockets it is a very tight fit and i believe my body is vulnerable to damage from any bumps, because LCD and eyepiece is bulging the flap out. For a bag that is advertised to fit pro-bodies i think they could have made the camera area bigger and added more padding. Besides that it is a okay backpack, it is comfortable and does what i need it to.

The design is so obviously not centered on the case, so it's not an appealing laptop case like I had desired. I just wish a little more detail would have been put into the printing of the design since I do like the product itself, but it's just not something that I will use because it looks so cheap.

This was a gift for my daughter at college. She loves it! It fit her laptop perfectly. Very happy with the product.
