wow this is one of the greatest bags ever . it turns into a backpack.. how great of an idea is this.. wow extremely satified

I loved the design of the bag and I love that it is huge, but the material is so cheap! It has slowly been falling apart since I bought it two months ago. It is now torn in several places and the leather is rubbed off on several other places (not even due to wear and tear, it started falling off the moment I unpacked it from the shipping box). Wish the company would make this bag better. I would spend more money and go for one of the other better-made diaper bag backpacks.

Vagabond Traveler Extra Large Classic Leather Briefcase Backpack 18" L06

I went back and forth a lot trying to decide whether to get this bag. I've been looking at getting a saddleback bag for months but couldn't bring myself to shell out 600 bucks. I was hesitant on this bag only for the lack of reviews, it looked essentially identical in the pictures to the saddleback. I have now received the bag, I have to say I am not disappointed. The only big difference from the saddleback bag that I can tell is that it isn't lined with pigskin on the inside, no false bottom, and of course no 100 year warranty. It all seems to be of good quality and easily fit my 17in laptop with the extended battery attached. Great service as well, I ordered it on Thursday and got it Monday.

I, too, been hesitant between this product and the saddleback products and finally decided to go with this "cheaper" version.

I travel a fair amount for work, nationally, and lately, with the plane size shrinking, I've had trouble using my little suitcase as a carry-on. I wanted a bag, while staying stylish, that could fit a pair of pants, shirts, and maybe a sweater or jacket.

That's why I went with this over-sized version of the briefcase.

I received the product yesterday, and the product is definitely like the featured pictures: quite large size, high quality leather, the Dark coffee color is gorgeous, and the "touch" of the product is very smooth. In short, extremely happy with my order.

Now, the best part is my interaction with the customer service, via email. I made a mistake on the color in my previous order, cancelled it to re-order the right color (dark coffee). A customer rep wrote me a nice email about the refund, and in the meantime, let me know that my "2 days delivery" order that I made for delivery was unnecessary as the product was shipped from Florida to Georgia, and would be delivered in 2 days no matter what. The rep them refunded me the shipping cost.

I got my package in a day and half after order.

So, there you have it: great product, great customer service I gladly recommend dealing with the company!

I have had this bag for about a month. I got one that had been returned, and it was only $200. Shipping was great, no problems, and I love the beautiful dark brown shine of the bag. At 9lbs. It is a heavy bag, all leather bags are. It holds all I need, and then some, and the straps are easy to adjust to change the way it is carried-messenger bag style, or backpack. Pick up some honey leather on amazon as well to hide scratches. Beautiful bag at a great price!

had this bag for about a year... I love the way it looks and i use it now and again. Its high quaity...however its too heavy to lug thru airports and all over the world so i dont use it as much as i want....it also doesnt have a specific pocket for files and laptops to they just kinda bounce around which can be irritating. other than that love the bag

Like another reviewer, I too debated buying a bag from Saddleback. I own some other Saddleback Leather and while it is great, I too didn't want to shell out $600+ for a bag. I'll say this I ordered my bag late on a Monday (4 PM ish) and my bag was in my hands less than 48 hours later after paying only $14.50 for shipping. How's that?!?!? And I live probably 1,500+ miles away from where it shipped from.

The bag looks great and seems virtually identical to its competitor only is has a suede liner. It is comfortable to carry, is spacious and will easily handle everything I need to carry including a 17inch Lenovo laptop with an extended battery. In fact, I 'm a regular traveler and this will allow me to carry a few more items comfortably that I was unable to carry before.

I ordered Dark Brown and bag's color looks great, I haven't carried it much yet, so I'll file an update later on, but so far the experience has been a vast improvement over what I had before.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the bag could stand to be a little stiffer. The divider in the middle is a little floppy, but one advantage to that is it can shift so you can get more in one compartment versus the other, so I appreciate that, but it along with the rest of the bag with the flap open is a little floppier than I envisioned. This isn't a major problem at all, just wasn't expecting it. So far, so good. For over a $350.00 savings (counting shipping), I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this to fit my 13.3" Toshiba Portege R705. It fits with no problem, and the zipper stays secure. Great if you're looking for a simple sleeve for your laptop.

This case is decent, but it definitely has its drawbacks. It's very flimsy and not high quality if you're looking for a nice plush cushiony sleeve, don't bother with this one. There were also a bunch of loose threads that got stuck on the zipper when I first opened it; not a huge deal, but not something you expect from a brand new product. I bought it for my 13" Macbook Pro, and it doesn't fit perfectly (it's a little tight on the sides, and too long the other way). Also, I don't think the colors are as bright as they look on the computer the green in the background barely shows up at all.

That being said, it's an alright case and it gets the job done. It's a good price, and it arrived a few days early.

I ordered this product and it shipped the same day and arrived only two days later. The colors are even more vivid in person. This is a really attractive product. My only complaint is that the zipper goes half way around the perimeter of the bag. I had planned to zip up three sides and leave one of the shorter sides unzipped for easy removal of the laptop. This isn't possible with this design because the zipper track only runs halfway down either short side. But, for the price, I'd definitely recommend it!

I ordered this for my sister, for Christmas. She owns a Macbook air... Although the cover is a little too big, it's an advantage for putting the charger inside with it.

I received this really quick on standard shipping, so I'm happy about that.

The product itself is pretty, the little feathers on the peacock come out with a trippy effect and look like little eyes. The color is nice, overall I'm satisfied with the product image. Although, there is a smell that comes along with it...but that's not too much of a bothersome for me.

I had hoped the jacket would have a little more padding, the padding it came with seems smaller than the actual case and leaves corners unprotected. The material also isn't very stretchy, nor is it neoprene. I had to carry it through a light rain and was very happy that the jacket seemed water resistant. If it was neoprene the water would have soaked in, not beaded off. It fits my 13 inch well. Overall, I am pleased with this product.

So disappointed to find out that this case does not fit certain Mac's as advertised. I bought this for an older model I use as a back-up. According to the specifications it should accommodate the following Apple computers:

Apple Macbook Air, Macbook Pro 13, Macbook 13, iBook G4 SuperDrive, MacBook Core 2 Duo 13.3 inch.

Case does not zip closed on an ibookG4. Otherwise it's a decent and pretty cool sleeve for the price. Wish the manufacturer would have been more honest and accurate saving myself and others the time and trouble to return and now shop for another.

I had the smaller Badlands pack for a few years and it served me well, I needed more space so I bought this, I'm very happy with it, the only issues is there is a pocket that is hard to get to the zipper, and it fights you all the way, but otherwise it has a very good layout and is very useful!!

I have owned a lot of daypacks over the years, and use one every day during hunting season. The thing I have learned is that there are some packs which are intelligently designed (the right number, placement and size of pockets; the ability to extend or limit capacity; quiet and tough material) and which feel intuitive and therefore easy in use. I have several other Badlands packs, and I use them for different situations. A larger one (Diablo) to carry more stuff for longer hunts; smaller ones (HyperHydro, Reactor) for shorter hunts. They are all overbuilt and well-designed. However, if I had to have just one, this would be it. I think I could carry nearly as much as I can with the Diablo, or cinch it down to smaller size (it has compression straps) for smaller carries. I agree that one of the zippers is hard to get at, but that's a minor detail. This is one great little pack, and the price is great too, considering the usual cost of a Badlands pack-they have not skimped on quality to reach this price point. My only question is--why no hip belt?

Pack is very well made and has the room needed for a day in the field. I do a lot of hiking while I am hunting and this pack has ample room and storage for everything that I carry.

For the price compared to most badlands bags this one does what I need. Great simple on the smaller size bag it will save you some cash compared to say the super day. Me and my husband wanted a simple backpack with the same features of a regular diaper bag. This has straps for the stroller, an insulated pocket for milk or food, extra pockets inside, and a changing pad, everything we were looking for! It is a bit smaller than I expected, but we didn't want to lug around a giant backpack either, I think this will be perfect.

This bag has great compartments and is very functional. With two kids I found it very necessary with two kids as I do not have extra hands available for a conventional over the shoulder diaper bag.

The only complaint I have is that it started to wear out at about 10 months. The strap broke and the stroller strap rivet broke cutting my finger in the process. It is so inexpensive we are happy to replace it.

Stephen Joseph Boys 2-7 Go Go Bag

This Stephen Joseph Boys 2-7 Go-Go Bag, Pirate, is super cute and durable. My problems are (1) it does not fit a standard binder and (2) the straps could use a little padding or could be wider for comfort. The real deal-breaker for me is the fact that a binder won't fit because the top of the bag is too narrow to zip around it. So my preschooler takes his stuff to school in a half-closed backpack, and his school binder is getting chewed up by the zipper. If they changed the size a bit, I would by another for next year. The straps...I mean you can always pad them after purchase. But the actual bag size...that's a deal breaker.

Worst backpack ever. Very bad quality. Please do not purchase it. The zipper broke. The straps broke. The vinyl broke.

It is a nice backpack. A little narrow at the bottom as you see in the photo. Beautifully made with lots of pockets and a nice padded laptop area. Nice material on the outside too. It is a good urban backpack not one for trekking up mountains as you won't fit enough inside it. Great for college or work.

Targus CityGear Chicago Laptop Backpack

I'm a DJ. My Targus CityGear has survived Burning Man twice (which in itself is amazing), as well as many gigs and airplane trips. It is wonderfully designed and well made. Its capacity is ridiculous -I have not yet found a laptop backpack that will hold as much as this does. In fact that's become a problem: I'm spoiled by it. The drawback is that it doesn't have a ton of padding or much rigidity, and your gear is more likely to become damaged if it gets hit. But since I can get all my gear in this, there's literally no comparison. I've tried high-end camera bags, the UDG Producer's Bag, the Namba Big Studio -all very well made, none of them able to fit my gear. I paid about $60 for it, I think -what a bargain, considering the use I've gotten out of it. I highly recommend this backpack.

I didn't consider myself to be a "backpack" person I had always used a strap-over-one-shoulder bag before. But after trying several laptop bags that weren't quite right, I decided to try this one from Targus.

It has been my all-time favorite bag! I've used it for my daily train commute downtown for several years, plus for business travel to Europe, Singapore, and even Indiana! It holds everything I need (including laptop, wires, mouse, etc.), it let's me get through security without hassles, and it fits very nicely in overhead luggage compartments.

My first bag has lasted for over six years. A couple of the zipper pulls have split, but otherwise it still works great. That's why I'm getting the exact same bag again!

So far this backpack has worked great for the purpose we intended it for! My husbands flys freight and can fit his headset, massive computer, mouse, phone charger, computer charger, kindle, iPad, iPad charger, toiletries bag, and changes of clothes all nice and neatly organized. Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack - Black

We have had this bag for over 3 years. It is used on almost a daily basis by one of us. We are now using it for both our 3 year old and a newborn. It is big enough to carry items for both, but it is still easy to transport as it is a backpack. One of the great things is that it is not too girly so dad has no problems carrying it.

We love the built in cooler feature our only minor complaint is after 3 years of almost daily use the inner silver lining on the cooler is starting to peel.

this is great, this our 4th diaper bag (we have a 16 month old and 1 on the way) and this is the best for sure. not too big and bulky like the regular tote style, you can sling it over one shoulder or two or a stroller. well balanced, LOVE the insulated lunch section and bottle holders, all the multi purpose pockets are great. we have plenty of room for two kids stuff in ours and its still not heavyvery durable too.

We bought this diaper bag after being tired of searching for things in regular designer diaper bags. This backpack is perfect for everyday use and traveling on long trips. The insulated bottle pocket allows you to pack bottles, food, ice pack, etc and still have room for more. We are able to fit about 10 diapers plus a bag of wipes in the diaper section, as well as a couple of changes of clothes, blanket and some extra toys in the main compartment. The extra pockets on the side are great for traveling when you need to place Infant Tylenol, mylicon drops, thermometers..all of those little extras that typically get lost in a typical diaper bag. Its not overly big either and you can hang it right on the front of your stroller for easy access if you don't want to carry it around. Faulty zipper Before I even had the chance to use it, the zipper wasn't working properly. This seems to be a common issue in other reviews. I thought it might have been others overstuffing the bag, but the zipper design is poor with a weak hold and easy to mis-align. Had to return the item which is too bad because I liked other design aspects of the backpack all the compartments, hooks, and canvas material. Though, I did find it odd that the cooler/food compartment on the bottom of the bag had a hole (for ventilation or drainage, I suppose).

This backback was an inch smaller in all stated dimensions, making it too small for my use. The leather is thin but soft. It looks like it is made OK. The price is low enough that sending it back if you do not like it is not worth it, as you loose the cost of shipping both ways.
