Item arrived in a timely manner and in condition described. It is a nice, compact carrying case that has enough body to it to protect the camcorder. Too bad the RCA Small Wonder camcorder did not work for very long so the nice little case is now empty.

I bought this particular backpack for several reasons. I like to have a bag/back pack that can hold both my computer and gears and my photography gears. I have looked into several models which can be really expensive. Since the main purpose of this back pack is to transport my equipment during travel (air plane), I though this would be a good choice. When I received the backpack, the first impression was it is huge!!! Yes, it is but it will fit the space on the airplane (carry on) with everything loaded. However, it may be slightly high (tall) and can be difficult to place under the seat in front of you for the small jets (regional jet). In addition, it can handle a 17" wide screen lab top easily.

The construction of the back pack is good quality and there are ample space to put the equipment. However, it is a little difficult to use this backpack to carry any letter size document without using the computer compartment. Hence, you will not be able to carry lots of document and might need to carry a portfolio on the side.

The packpack as designed will be able to be sling and open the zipper to get the camera. I tried this and it does work nicely. It is comfortable to carry with a full load all day.

Overall it is an excellent designed pack pack for computer and photography equipment transporter. It is bulky but possibly required for the type of equipment it will house. One thing that I had not tested is whether it is rain proof.

I ran across this Fastpack at the PMA08 Convention here in Las Vegas and wanted to purchase it right then and there but couldnt. So I waited about 2 weeks and ran across the 350 on Amazon and ordered it. It has all the functionality that I was looking for. It incorporates my small form factor 12in laptop in the back with plenty of padding and quick access to my DLSR. I have had this on my back for hours and it doesnt get uncomfortable when properly adjusted. I am very pleased with the design. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has been wondering if its worth it.

A great bag. Compact for its size, I can carry my D-200 with 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, 18-55mm f/2.8 lens and flash in the lower section. Upper section has plenty of room for my KATA raincover, windbreaker and pullover cap, which is accessable with ease. This is extremely handy, especially when the weather takes a turn during football games.

My 15-inch laptop fits in the side pouch with no problem. All that gear can be heavy, but shoulder straps are padded and The hip and sternum straps help to distribute the weight correctly.

Unlike other combo bags that I've owned, which were much wider, this Fastpack 350 is compact and should be no problem being a carry-on for taking along on plane trips. I highly recommend this bag.

I have had this bag for only a day now and I have to say it's awesome. it's camera gear compartment fits my current EOS 40D with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras attached plus my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras, my 430EX flashgun and two more lenses.

It's comfortable to carry and walk around in, but it does get a bit uncomfortable when you have the laptop with you during long walks, but I guess that is to be expected with such backpacks.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for Photographers who want to carry a lot of gear around. But I also like the easy camera side access, which for me was this bag's selling point. I can reach in and pull out my 40D with complete ease.

Great bag if you're considering it and you have about the same gear I do.

This thing is cheap and simple. It had a neoprene smell when I first got it but all neoprene stuff does. I kept it in the wash room for a day or two and I have had no problems with it. After all I don't hold it up next to my face, I just use it to hold my laptop which it does perfectly.

I have a Samsung Q430 and it fits it like it was made for it.

I was looking for a simple neoprene case for my 15" MacBook Pro with retina display. Since it is so thin, this 14" sleeve fits perfectly. Like others have said, the smell is a bit strong at first but a bit of Febreze and an afternoon outside on the porch took care of the worst of it. The case is reversible if bright red is your thing!

Fits my 14" asus perfectly. Good for protecting it from other things in my backpack as well as some cushioning. its water resistant which is good. I would recommend if you just need something to keep this safe from the elements, its not a protective case though so keep that in mind.

I got this sleeve around Christmas for my new netbook. About two weeks after receiving it the zipper seam started to fray, now two months later the zipper is completely broken. This cover, like any other, does its job, but has style! As stated in some other reviews (seen under the bigger sized version) it does have a rubber smell to it, but it isn't overpowering and should dissipate in a few days. Colors are as vivid as in the picture, and overall has an attractive appearance! You will not be disappointed.

I purchased the Alps Outdoor Z Commander w/ Freighter frame pack along with a Kelty Cache Hauler. I have to say that this frame is very good quality and strong. I was very pleased and surprised at the quality of the pack. It also has a ton of space.

Compared with the Kelty I listed, the Alps is quite a bit larger. The frame is heavy and the pack solid. The frame is different than the Kelty but with minor differences. The Kelty pack is much heavier fabric and has metal arms to support the pack shelf instead of heavy nylon straps. The Kelty however is quite a bit smaller.

Honestly, If I knew that the quality of the Alps pack and frame were this good, I would have purchased two and saved some coin. The Kelty is $97.00 more than the Alps. I am disapointed with the Kelty. It has a short frame and pack, and it sells for around $220.00

If you want a bunch of room,a well built pack, and a solid frame for packing, at a great price , buy the Alps.

I own a MOLLE II GEN4 Pack, An Eberlestock V90 Battleship, An ILBE MAIN RUCK, a Large Franken-MALICE, A USGI CFP-90. A Camelbak BFM and a Motherlode (and a few others, truth) ... Now ... I am still evaluating these packs and the ILBE was nearly $300, new ... The Eberlestock V90 was $400 (OUCH!) ...

... I honestly cannot guarantee that this pack will meet all of YOUR requirements ... But I am confident that, for the price, it is the FIRST pack you should purchase and evaluate because I could have saved over $800 if I had found this pack BEFORE buying others. The ILBE is "worth it" but is very heavy and is not optimal ... The Eberlestock V90 is just way over-priced and ain't "all that" ... a good pack, but not **THAT** good".

This pack is really two packs in one (BOTH, at the same time, BTW) ... You can strap a large duffle or a 90 (plus) liter kayak dry-bag or even a quartered deer or a full gerry-can or a stack of 5-gallon buckets, using the cargo-shelf, in conjunction with the provided cargo straps. The ruck portion can fold up and out of the way or can be quickly and easily removed. So can the separate accesory "wings", which have pockets for critical gear. There is a dedicated, elastisized retainer-pocket for a rifle butt (along with upper cynch straps) ... This is a really versatile and light-weight pack that even comes with 3 cargo strap extensions.

Cons: Design employs split-rings to retain the mounting and adjustment pins ... Cotter-type spring-pins (with retention-notches) would be much better but are cheap and easy to source. ALSO ... My friend said that HIS Commander frame was overly squeaky and made too much noise ... He said it bugged him. I do not intend to use this pack in a scout-sniper role and I am not noticing anything much worse than full ALICE noise.

I seriously doubt that you will regret this purchase. NO OTHER decent cargo-frame can do so much for anywhere near this price. Truly gives much of the capability of a Kifaru or Mystery-Ranch cargo rig, at a tiny fraction of the cost.

CLEARLY AND WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, THIS PACK SYSTEM IS WAY SUPERIOR TO MY CFP-90 OR MY MALICE CARGO RIG OR MY MOLLE II GEN4 Packs ... All those systems cost more than this one and I would quickly trade any of those, for this one ... I will keep my Eberlestock V90 and my ILBE, though ... they cost more but they are very good packs ... My Camelback BFM and the Maxpedition Condor II and FALCON II are also quite worthy (but much smaller capacity).

I like to camp and backpack in the wilderness, so I tend to carry a lot of equipment. I did a lot of research looking for a larger, more versital backpack, and once I determined that an external-frame design would meet my needs better than an internal-frame unit, I compared all the models I could find. I selected the ALPS Commander backpack and freighter frame combination. The ALPS beat them all in functionality and features.

First of all, the unit as advertised, is really two products in one. The backpack itself can be removed from the frame and the 'freighter frame' part used to carry firewood or other cargo. The shelf at the bottom is part of that functionality, as well as the side cargo pouches that are part of that configuration. Since, I'm only interested in using it as a backpack I've removed the shelf (to remove weight) and moved the freighter frame pack portion to the outside of the backpack where those storage compartments can be easily accessed. That configuration provides room for more equipment and still provides access to all of the backpack compartments. I stuff it full of equipment and supplies, so it's weighs around 50 lbs. That said, it carries well, and is balanced and comfortable when setup properly.

I prefer an external frame design over an internal one because the frame can be used to strap on additonal pouches and equipment, and the frame protects the backpack when it's in contact with the ground. This keeps the pack from getting wet on damp ground or cut by sharp rocks.

Overall this is a great pack and I'm somewhat surprised it's priced as low as it is when compared to other models available with less capacity.

I was searching for a pack (frame+pack) to serve as the pack for my BOB/SHTF long term all weather survival kit. I have served 10yrs in the Army, so 1 pack to serve as my A+B bag. I have plenty of experience with the MOLLE as I have carried and rucked with one quite a lot, and have heavily modified it over the years to fit my needs, but it has proven to just be too inefficient for my intended use. I have also used the internal frame Field Pack (L), it was even more restricting, unbalanced, and quite frankly too much to purchase.

So upon receiving this, it came decently packed, but in a box that was too big IMO, everything was in order. So I sat down on the couch to get familiar with the pack, adjusting for fit, removing it from the frame and reassembling it. This immediately exposed the first highly needed modification. The cotter pins that hold the pack together have a "spring-loop" much like a key chain that hold the cotter pins. There are 18 of them in total if you want to disassemble the frame. 10 if you want to remove the pack to haul game or wood or what not. If this was attempted in frigid temperatures, I think it would create a big problem once your fingers started loosing dexterity from the cold. I opt to swap out all the of the cotter pins with "lock pins" or "snapper pins" for a quick release method that could be done with gloves on with an added advantage of not having to ever worry about losing one of those "spring-loops". This upgraded cost about $32 to replace all the pins on the bag which is still under the Kelty version of this bag by a large margin!

This is an expedition size pack, there is no getting around that, the frame is large, and it extends vertically with adjustment. When I loaded up this bag which included my Rem 700 30-06, Rug 10/22 Take Down mounted on the opposite side with all my other gear (full gear list to survive for years to include snowshoes) it was 93 lb. This is a lot of weight, but it carried it well, and balanced well. I purposely tested the weight with a 30min walk, and though it was heavy. I didn't have any strange pressure points developing..very good sign! I have not had a chance to field test the bag, but the motto "If you take care of your equipment, it will take care of you" has always stood true with everything I have owned.

I really like the design of the frame, and now going through the process to allow the frame to convert into a sled utilizing the existing cotter holes, so that I can pull my cargo at times (like when there is a significant amount of snow on the ground) rather than carry it. If you've ever pack-carried a field dressed elk out in deep snow, you'd rather pull it than carry it...especially considering the load rating on snowshoes if you have them.

All-in-all, its an excellent pack for the money, and if you're looking for an expedition size pack that is versatile and won't break the bank, consider this one!

I spent a good amount of time researching backpacks for camping and kept going back and forth between internal/external frame, different makes/models... all depending on the price. I didn't want to spend over $70ish but after looking more into the ALPS Commander (reading reviews, watched a youtube video of a guy unboxing it etc) & mostly being able to load up my rifle plus the frame aspect of having a tray that could be used in bunch of different ways, I said okay.. and bought it. First of all, it arrived very quick (2days cause I signed up for Amazon Prime's 30 free trial) and once I got it out of the box, it took a little bit for me to get it setup correctly cause the bag portion can come completely off the frame and you can adjust the belt etc (also the frame came with two canvas sides w/ pockets so I tried to get it all worked in etc).. I loaded it up with all my gear, rifle and was also able to get my bow & arrows (the bow breaks down) right next to the rifle and in the little rifle stock holder that comes with the Commander bag(so there's plenty of room for all that and you can expand the straps to make more room). After loading it all up, and I mean all my camping gear.. including a 3 person tent (that tray works great for all sorts of things!!), extra blankets, tarp, ax, shovel, stove, knives, ammo, fishing tackle gear, mess gear, & food (basically all the other things I would normally bag up separately), I lifted it and thought okay maybe I went overboard cause by then it got pretty heavy, until I buckled up the hip belt and then all the weight came right off my shoulders. In short, I'm extremely impressed with this bag and its quality. I took it out last weekend and was just amazed that in the back of my truck everything I needed was all in one place, inside this bag. After three days and two nights out, it stood up great and this is a bag that I believe will last me a long time to come. The zippers work real good too.. my only concern is with the plastic buckles but that's with most bags these days. I put mine to the test pretty good and had no issue with the buckles.. though I'd imagine in time they'll probably break at one time or another.. good thing is that it came with three extra straps for using on the frame, so I take those with me for just in case. I was pretty hesitant to spend over $100 for a "backpack" but now, I'm glad I did.. this ALPS Commander is more than just a bag though, I see that now and the quality is well worth the money.

I purchased one of K-Cliffs bags for my sweet, sweet angel faced turd burglar and in no time after her 1st grade year started it began to tear along a seam. Too tough for Ma to sew and not worth the time. I figured I'd contact K-Cliffs and let them replace their piece of Oriental (I think that's the politically correct phrase) junk but no go these varmits scurry and hide faster than Saudi royalty on a plane back to the homeland after 9/11. Absolutely no luck tracking down customer service of any sorts probably could have if I'd spent more than 15 minutes tracking their trail but hey...I got babies to kiss and pork to pull. So needless to say I would highly recommend looking for anything else, whatsoever, to carry your goods in. An old bucket, a wheelbarrow...even a cheap Mexican laborer for that matter. I would send my daughter to school with her books in a burlap sack before I'd purchase another K-Cliffs bag. Buyer beware.

I ordered three rolling back packs for my children to use in the airport as their carryon item. The one was for my 5.5 year old. It was easy for him to pull and carry. It had ample amount of storage space and he loved the angry birds design. That said it was less quality than the other two back packs I purchased. There was no where for the straps to be put away so they dragged on the floor when it was rolling. Since we were moving the day after I received it I couldn't do an exchange, but the front design was ripped upon arrival. Now the whole front pocket is ripped as well and the back pack has had limited use. It was the only angry birds in space pack that I could find and it's really sad how poor the quality is. If design isn't important go with a a different pack.

I have gone through 5 of these models in 12 years. They are amazing for one reason alone: THEY HOLD MORE STUFF THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE. It's like that circus act with the clowns pouring out of a mini-car. Contrary to the prior reviewers opinion, they are incredibly strong. However, on the other points, the criticism is warranted. They are not water-proof, and because they can hold so much, you can easily forget what 40lbs. on your back feels like in 30+minutes. AND, my one gripe: I have been known to call it "the Black Hole" because once it enters, it sometimes never returns. There is no compartmentalization, just a vast, yawning pit. I can think of too many times when, in a rush, I have simply unzipped it all the way and dumped everything out in a fury. Thus my headline. A great bag, patience not included. 5 in 12 years may sound like they are not well made, but I beat them brutally. You'd never know it though, because (they'll NEVER tell you this) you can throw it into the washing machine (front loaders, NOT an agitator) and air dry and it will look brand new.

good if you carry loads and bad if you carry few things. the handphone pouch velcro seems to run out quickly. but it is really a heaven sent when you get big and heavy stuff. Looking at the kitchen sink now.

I decided to buy the Icon pack because I needed a big backpack to take me from work to gym easily and girl backpacks are just plain ridiculous. They're not meant to hold up anything substantial. So I went looking for men's backpacks.

This pack is now a staple for me. It fits my 14.1 inch laptop snugly (and I mean snug). I'm not so sure how a 15 inch laptop could fit in the compartment. It takes abit of tugging to get my laptop out of the side compartment. The pockets are convenient and roomy, absolutely perfect for hauling all my gym gear, including my sneakers.

What struck me about this bag is how light my laptop + gym gear feels on my shoulders and back. The frame of the backpack distributes the weight so evenly, it's a breeze to carry my stuff. When it's just my laptop and I don't have any gym gear in the bag, I hardly notice that I'm carrying anything. I like the padded shoulder straps and back which are so wide, and of course, the colours are great.

One thing worries me though: how thin the fabric seems to be. I'd think you'd expect to get thicker, maybe sturdier fabric around the sides and bottom of the backpack when it's an Oakley, but that doesn't seem to be the case. When I received the bag, I was a little surprised that the fabric is this thin around the sides. Having read the other reviews, it does seem that if i continue abusing my backpack, it'll rip.

I'd probably recommend you not to get the pack unless you don't carry such heavy stuff everyday it looks too flimsy if you're thinking of carrying thick textbooks and a laptop with battery and charger everyday. I carry my gym gear on alternate days, so it's holding up good at the moment.

My daughter is two and a half and LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba. She watches it a lot so when I saw this backpack I knew she'd love it. She drags it around the house stuffing her toys in it and it was great for putting her daily toys in it when she goes to visit Nana. In hindsight I wished I had bought the non rolling backpack because she doesn't want to wear it on her back and would rather drag it around but since she isn't going to school yet that's not a deal breaker.

I really like the way this bag looks so cute, but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it. It started falling apart and tearing not too long after I had it. It started with the shoulder strap and now a lot of the pocket liners are tearing away from the bag :( it is virtually falling apart and i am not too sure i will even save it for another child i might just chuck it. It does have a lot of pockets on the inside tho but once you fill those up there is no room left in the center on the bag or it all goes to the very bottom and you can't see it.

This bag is so much better than the picture shows! It looks amazing in the picture, but you can't really tell how great the pockets are until you see it in person. The colors of the Felicity pattern are beautiful and the material the bag is made out of seems very durable. It also comes with the matching changing pad, detachable long arm strap, and non-slip stroller handles that are going to come in very handy.

I couldn't be more pleased with this diaper bag. It looks like a stylish purse but has more functionality than other bags I've seen which are more expensive than this one, by the way. I've received tons of compliments on this bag and everyone wants to know where they can get one!! Can't go wrong with this bag!

I liked this diaper bag however it's just not the right one for me. My only problem, I packed 3 bottles, forumula, 4 diapers, a sweater, 2 burp clothes, wipes and a toy and I was really out of room. It does have lots of pockets which I thought I would love but once you put items in the pockets, it eats up the remainder of the room in the bag leaving a very small inside compartment. Maybe for the mom who doesn't need to carry so much and is only taking the baby out for a short period of time then this bag would be perfect. For me, it's just not big enough. Also, the picture on the website does not look like the color in person. Much darker in person. Not as bright as it appears on the website.

I have never wrote a review about anything that I have purchased, but I have to write something about this bag. I have 3 kids and have gone through several diaper bags. This bag is by far the best I have ever owned. Plenty of storage, lots of pockets, very cute design and not too big, not too small. In fact I have this thing so stuffed that I didn't think the zipper would zip (that's what was wrong with the other bag I had), however this thing zipped up with no problems and believe me I have it stuffed. Even with it being stuffed on the inside, I can still fit bottles on the outside...just amazing! You won't regret your purchase with this one.

I purchased this bag twice. The first one had two broken feet and a broken magnetic clasp upon arrival. Amazon took that bag back and sent me a new one ASAP (LOVE amazon). The second one got lost, but finally made its way to me. After just a few days two feet broke and both magnetic clasps on the front pockets broke. I did cOntact Timi and Leslie and they exchanged the secOnd bag fOr me very efficiently. So they dO have great customer service, but very poor quality On this particular bag.

I bought this bag about 9 months ago, when my third baby was a newborn. I have owned other diaper bags in the past, and I had a very specific list of what I wanted in a bag: I was looking for something very roomy and lightweight. I cloth diaper, and I wanted to be able to take a couple of cloth diapers, along with the usual other diaper bag stuff, and a snacks for the older kids, and still be able to zip the thing closed. I also wanted to have pockets for my stuff, so that when I am out and about with the baby, I don't have to take a purse. It was very important that I have a place for my cell phone that was easily accessible. I wanted stroller straps, and I wanted feet on the bottom. This one fit the bill. I bought no less than seven different diaper bags (some that cost twice as much) and tried them out at home before settling on this one. And nine months later, I have to say, I made the right choice. I have been very pleased. The fabric, stitching, and hardware have held up amazingly well -it still looks new. I stuff it full of all sorts of things, including cloth diapers, and the big pocket on the front will still hold my wallet, while the smaller zip pockets are great for my cell phone and hand sanitizer. The side bottle pockets hold sippy cups with no problem. I really like having two different strap options, and the stroller straps are great -the clasps are very easy to open and close, which is not always the case with other bags. The last thing you want when you're packing your kids in the minivan is to be wrestling with getting your bag off the stroller because the clasps are too small or too stiff. It's a breeze with this bag. The Black Magnolia print is pretty and stylish. I really can't find anything I don't like about this bag. It was a great purchase!

I ordered this bag because I loved the pattern of the fabric. It has lots of room inside and many pockets to keep things organized. I also like that the straps do not fall down off your shoulder and its very easy to wear. However, after using it for a few weeks the straps started falling off. I had to hand sew them back on and went ahead and reinforced the other straps as well.

Purchased this bag due to the 5 star reviews others had given to the bag. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as nice as I had anticipated. The nylon lining inside & on exterior top was rough and cheap, the snaps on the front and back pockets already seemed a bit loose, and it was also much heavier than I had expected. I was hoping my wallet (7X4) would fit in one of the front zip pockets but I could just barely jam it in there without having to tug hard on the zipper. The cute (Cocoa Tree) was super cute, but oilcloth tends to scuff easily and the bottom should be nylon to help avoid this. It is very similar in size and shape to a Fleurville sling tote, but definitely not the same quality. It did have a nice side bottle pocket, just wish there was a bottle pocket on both sides of the bag (the pocket on the other side is short and not too deep, but not secure, so I wouldn't use it for cell phone or wallet or keys, not sure what it is there for). It's OK and the price is in line with quality. I would gladly spend more on this bag if they just made a few changes (nylon bottom, nicer nylon inside, 2 sippy pockets outside, better snaps, deeper front zip pockets).

Diaper bags are simply a matter of preference. I originally tried a much more expensive diaper bag, supposedly one of the best out there, but it just wasn't for me. I returned the more expensive bag, and decided to try the JJ Cole Mode Tote. The Mode Tote was, and is, the perfect fit for this first time mom! First of all, there are two main ways to carry the bag. The first is the over-the-shoulder long, padded strap. While I love the padding, I prefer to use the two-handled way to carry the bag like a tote (again, a matter of preference!) I just removed the padded strap entirely and stored it in my daughter's closet. The other thing I love is the stroller clips that come with the bag! We haven't used them more than a couple of times, but they are definitely handy! I just store them in one of the pockets when I am not using them. I also love the matching changing mat that comes with the bag. It's so big, but folds so flat that it takes up zero room when stored! Also, I can fold it up using one hand, which is essential when I am holding my daughter! One of the best things about this bag, in my opinion, is that it doesn't feel heavy and bulky, even when it's completely packed! Some diaper bags out there are so heavy, your shoulders hurt after carrying them around for even a short time. The Mode Tote is not like that; I feel like the material from which it is constructed lends itself to to being lightweight. I can't really think of anything I really dislike about the bag, and I've sat here trying to think of something! No diaper bag is perfect I still have to dig sometimes to find what I need, but isn't that every diaper bag? The Mode Tote is tall and narrow. I like this (I prefer it to short and wide). I ordered the Black Magnolia pattern and love it! I use it with my daughter and am satisfied knowing that I could continue to use it even if I have a boy someday. It's a quality product at a great price! (FYI here's what I am currently carrying in the bag: a fleece sleeper, two plain onesies, 4 pairs of socks, two fleece outfits, 6 diapers, a travel case of diaper wipes, two pairs of mittens, a winter hat, a nasal aspirator, a water bottle, a formula dispenser, a pair of nail clippers, 3 toys, a digital camera, a pacifier, a bib, a burb cloth, two pairs of shoes, a travel pack of kleenex, a box of 75 disposable diaper bags, and travel hand sanitizer. I still have PLENTY of room!)

I researched many diaper bags before deciding on this one. It was important for me to have a bag that was large enough for my newborn's necessities and my 19 month old daughter's, as well, but not be so large that it would be difficult or irritating to carry around. I have more than enough room for all their diapers, wipes, a change of clothes for each, toys, snacks, an extra receiving blanket, pacifier case, pacifier wipes, a pen, my wallet, hand sanitizer, my keys, phone, and a book for my six year old. Even with all of this, I still have room to pack my Mei Tai Babyhawk carrier, which is a bit bulky when folded (although with this inside, I can't zip the bag closed, but it isn't hanging out or so overstuffed that the bag appears to be bursting at the seams). The many pockets that this bag has allows me keep things exactly the way I need them. This bag is amazing, and for the money it is definitely worth it. I would buy it again, and recommend it!

This bag is good for what I use it for...which is to carry around a few paperbacks, a folder, a wallet, small personal items, tablet, and sometimes a 14 in laptop. I do get a little concerned when I throw in my laptop because the bag, while sturdy enough, doesn't seem cut out to carry lots of heavy weight. When I want to carry a lot of stuff, like several thick books, laptop, plus other things, I use another bag. But this backpack is definitely nice because I don't particular like zippers and this one has a drawstring closure and magnetic flap which work like a charm. The straps are lightly padded which keep it from hurting my shoulders, and the interior is surprisingly roomy. You could probably fit up to 4 thick textbooks (although you might think twice about actually carrying them in this bag for a long time) and squeeze in other smaller items.

The interior also has two small pockets and pen holders in addition to a divider for a tablet or small laptop.

The material is nice and thick, not flimsy to the touch, just nice canvas material, and the color is more like the 3rd. 4th and 5th pictures shown on the product page (more brown than green or khaki).

I do wish that the pockets on the outside of the bag were a bit larger...it'd be nice to be able to fit a water bottle in there comfortably, but alas, this isn't the case.

One small detail about the drawstring itself...the ends are knotted, but I've found that they come loose so you have to tighten them every so often.

I have been looking for a good sized bag and this one does it for me. It has the perfect amount of pockets; which I found that everything I want to carry fits nice and neat into all the little pouches.

I love this bag and I'm sure it's going to take me through the rest of my college life.

I know the description says that there is a pocket for an ipad, but I can actually fit my macbook pro in that pocket too. I love the rugged look it has and I hate having to constantly zip and unzip backpacks so this is perfect. It fits binders, textbooks, whatever you need for school. It has a sturdy design, I've been using it for a year in college and it hasn't failed me yet!

I have been looking for a travel backpack with style...this one is gorgeous and soft as butter! I did have to slide the straps past the zipper to make it snug enough, but it really wasn't an issue for me. Then I discovered if you unhooked each side and connected them to each other, it turns into a cross body bag. Security was also an issue for me...not only does this bag snap in front (corner to corner), but it also has a zipper all the way across the top.

It is a nice backpack. A little narrow at the bottom as you see in the photo. Beautifully made with lots of pockets and a nice padded laptop area. Nice material on the outside too. It is a good urban backpack not one for trekking up mountains as you won't fit enough inside it. Great for college or work.
