I wanted a carrier for my Mac that was versatile, not bulky and inexpensive. I have all of this and more with this carrier. The zipper portion is covered so that it won't scratch the laptop. The neoprene material keeps it protected, without the bulk. It has an outside zippered side pocket that holds my adapters, mouse and airline adapter. It is roomy enough for everything, yet fits in my business case nicely. It even has handles and a shoulder strap for when I want to carry it seperately from my business case. I would highly recommend this item!

This is a great case for your MacBook. It is lightweight but very strong and has nicely padded sides that provide plenty of protection. It has handles and a shoulder strap. The color is great-bright and different from all the black cases out there.

The only problem I have with it is the strong odor. It smells horrible! Very strong vinyl smell that took months to disipate. I actually left it outside for about 8 weeks before I could bring it in the house.

I bought this case for my new 13" Macbook. It's neoprene construction and soft interior are gentle for the exterior make of my laptop. It you are looking for a sleeve, or "lug around" to take your macbook to work or school I highly recommend this case. The strap is very comfortable and feel the extra cushioning on the shoulder make it a little easier to carry around. Of course this case isn't for those who do a lot of intensive traveling. It's more for people who just want light protection for the general places they go. I also really enjoyed the color as it is very vibrant and doesn't look like every other case out there. It's very modern looking too. As for the smell...it is a little strong at first. But, it wears off after a few uses. It doesn't smell at all that bad--just like a new product that needs to be broken in. I love this case.

NEEWER 14'' Laptop Notebook Soft Sleeve Bag Case for Laptop DELL HP Lenovo

This thing is cheap and simple. It had a neoprene smell when I first got it but all neoprene stuff does. I kept it in the wash room for a day or two and I have had no problems with it. After all I don't hold it up next to my face, I just use it to hold my laptop which it does perfectly.

I have a Samsung Q430 and it fits it like it was made for it.

I was looking for a simple neoprene case for my 15" MacBook Pro with retina display. Since it is so thin, this 14" sleeve fits perfectly. Like others have said, the smell is a bit strong at first but a bit of Febreze and an afternoon outside on the porch took care of the worst of it. The case is reversible if bright red is your thing!

Fits my 14" asus perfectly. Good for protecting it from other things in my backpack as well as some cushioning. its water resistant which is good. I would recommend if you just need something to keep this safe from the elements, its not a protective case though so keep that in mind.

It's a tad too large overall for my HP 14" DM4, and the top flap doesn't secure, but it was only $6 shipped so it's still a good value.

This "backpack" is not a backpack at all. It is a stuffed toy that can be carried by backpack straps (or a hand loop).

The zipper's max opening is about 4 1/4 inches -less than the width of a small index card.

Open the zipper and you find a piece of thin but very strong fabric sewn firmly into both sides of the zipper, sealing off the inside irrevocably.

So, I thought, am I missing something? Is there a realistic opening somewhere?

NO.

Cut open the fabric that seals off the inside of the object and you find not the expected support of crumpled paper or the like, but tightly packed dense, springy, synthetic stuffing. Lots of it.

Take out the stuffing and the flimsy "plush" collapses flatter than a plastic grocery bag. The piece that keeps you from getting into the pack is far firmer and stronger than the toy's covering (a lightly napped very thin fabric).

I could barely get my not very large hand through the opening. My 3 year old granddaughter could, or could drop a Lego block into it, but if she did she probably couldn't reach to the bottom of the sack to get it out.

I got this for my husband (a retired college professor and Tweety enthusiast) for a sort of whimsical birthday present, as I have two real backpacks about this size and find them very useful. I can't imagine that this thing would be good for anything, for anyone of any age.

I see nothing in the description that says that this is a stuffed toy that can be carried on the back, that there is no functional opening, or that the object is not intended for use as a backpack in the sense of something to carry things in, as it clearly was not. I can only take this to be deliberate deception. Anyone lives in the West has heard the story of the local "haystack rock" -the huge rock covered thinly with hay and sold to the naive Easterner as a haystack.

Buy this and you can have your very own haystack rock, or should I say Tweety haystack.

Thankful as I am for Amazon's return policies, I'm not sure I'll be able to return this, as I had to mutilate it to find that it was a stuffed toy, not a backpack.

I hope Amazon's description checking people will put this company and this brand on a Red List and check any other objects they may be trying to foist off on trusting Amazon customers against the descriptions.

My daughter loves this but the pocket in the head is rather small and hardly fits any of her stuff she tries to put in it. Great otherwise.

Lassig Vintage Metro Bag, Multicolor Oilcloth

I purchased this Lassig Vintage Metro bag in gray (which is apparently no longer available) and I love it! I looked and compared so many diaper bags and I finally settled on this one, and I'm glad that I purchased it. I'm sure that everybody's likes and dislikes are different, so I'll first list the things that I was looking for in a diaper bag;

Modern design that goes with both jeans and dress.

Not too heavy but large capacity.

Ease of cleaning.

Can use it as a regular bag if I wanted to.

Ability to store my things and baby stuff separately.

Easy one hand access to pockets for keys and wallets.

Comes with stroller hooks.

As you can tell from my 5 star rating, this bag met all of my requirements! I'll now go through these points more in details.

1) Modern design that goes with both jeans and dress.

I had such a hard time finding a not-too-casual and not-too-classy diaper bags! Most of the diaper bags out there seem to lean towards one way. I first thought about purchasing the highly rated Skip Hop Studio or Versa diaper bags, but then I learned that their fabric looks very cheap. I also wanted to stay away from JanSport backpack material, so that narrowed down the options for modern looking diaper bags significantly. I then thought about brands like Timi & Leslie and Nest, but I did not want to purchase a heavy leather/leatherette bag. Ultimately, I settled on laminated/oilcloth for its lightweight and ease of cleaning. The matt finish gives a nice classy look to the delicate white line design. I really love the look!

2) Not too heavy but large capacity.

The bag weighs 1.48kg, so it's slightly heavier than those diaper bags that are made of JanSport backpack like polyester fabric, but is much lighter than those bags made of leather/leatherette fabric. The bag is 45.5 x 23 x 25 cm; it's big enough to carry a 13" laptop and your baby stuff. I can carry so much stuff with this, yet it's not too bulky.

3) Ease of cleaning.

Outer fabric is oilcloth, so you can just wipe it off clean. Inside pockets are water repellent, so they are great for storing wet bibs and burp clothes. The changing mat and the inner fabric are antimicrobial too. I also like that the zippers for the two main compartments go down all the way, so I can easily clean the bottom of the bag.

4) Can use it as a regular bag if I wanted to.

I think many of the more affordable diaper bags ($100 or less) tend to be made for one purpose; to carry diapers and baby things. For that reason, I thought about Nest diaper bags, because their inner compartment zips off and you can use them as regular bags after your baby grows up. However, I couldn't commit spending nearly $300 on them:( Considering the price, this bag looks classy enough and some bulky compartments like bottle and jar holders come off. How cool is that?! Also, the insulated bottle holder can be used separately!

5) Ability to store my things and baby stuff separately.

There are a total of 4 big compartments and 2 front pockets, so it's very easy to keep our stuff separate. I like the design for both the organizational aspect and hygiene reasons. I'm soon uploading some pictures, so please check them out for more details!

6) Easy one hand access to pockets for keys and wallets.

The front pockets are magnetic, so even when I'm carrying my baby, I can reach for my wallet with one hand. You'll be surprised how many diaper bags out there only have zippered pockets! I mean who wants to struggle with zippered pockets when I have a crying baby in my arm and needs to get my wallet out ASAP?

7) Comes with stroller hooks.

No brainer. In addition, it comes with a shoulder strap! It's doesn't have a shoulder pad, so I don't think you want to use it long term though. I'm thinking it'll be come in handy when I have to travel by air and have to carry suitcases and strollers during the trip.

Well, now you know what I was looking for in a diaper bag and why I like this bag so much. I know that everybody looks for different features, so hopefully you'll find this review helpful in making your purchase decision!

This bag is sooooo cute! I wish I could love it, but it feels more like hauling luggage than a diaper bag :( Perfect for a long trip because it's really roomy, but not ideal for everyday use (like to the grocery store or park). It's in the closet for now, until we take the kids for a long car trip or plane ride somewhere, which is a shame because it really is adorable!

The North Face Recon Daypack - Men's

The North Face Recon Backpack is a well organized and designed day pack that will serve you great on hikes, campus, or as your E.D.C. bag.

Following is my breakdown of the Recon:

The main compartment is padded and capable of holding a hydration bladder along with a fair amount of room for a day hike. If you utilize the Recon for school or work it is capable of holding a 15 inch laptop where the hydration bladder would normally be positioned. Inside the main compartment is a mesh zippered area that will hold a wallet and other small items such as snacks, small pair of binoculars, fire starting equipment, first aid supplies, pens, pencils, calculator, etc.

The second compartment has a lot of organizational spaces for pens, business cards, 3x5 notebook, wallet and has a key holder. The compartment is a decent size and well organized.

On the outside of the pack is a small water resistant zippered pocket that can hold small items that you may need to get to in a hurry such as a wallet, headlamp, flashlight, gloves, hat, etc. Below this pocket is a large front mesh pocket that can be secured and used for items you will need fast or to place any wet items so they do not have to go into the pack.

On the side of the pack are mesh pockets that are made to hold water bottles. They will securely hold 16.9 fluid oz (500ml) water bottles. You can fit 32 oz. Nalgene bottles but they are more difficult to secure even when utilizing the cinch cord.

The back panel is padded and ventilated but you will still sweat. If using this pack for hiking I would avoid a cotton shirt and go with something like Under Armor to wick away any moisture. The shoulder straps have some padding called FlexVent(tm) shoulder straps and tend to be a little firmer than I like but not enough to be a deal breaker. The shoulder straps each have a D ring and one of the straps has a little expandable pouch that will hold items such a cell phone, multi-tool, flashlight, or a snack. The bag comes with a hip belt that can be stowed away if you desire and chest strap that aid in stability and comfort. All of the buckles are durable. The zippers are well made and very durable. All zippered areas have coverage flaps to minimize rain entering into the bag. The bag comes with side compression straps and straps on the bottom of the bag to attach items such as a jacket, sleeping bag, etc.

Overall, this is a very nice low profile bag. If you use it as a small E.D.C bag you will not stick out at all. There is no "military look" to this bag. It is functional, durable and very well made. I highly recommend the North Face Recon.

At first glance this pack looks like your typical day pack. Whether you're going on a hike, or a day at the Zoo with your family, this pack serves multiple purposes. The medium size and excellent ergonomics throughout the pack are fantastic. This bag probably wouldn't make a great school bag due to its limited capacity in the large compartment, however if you keep only a few books and binders it would be great. The mostly 400d nylon is a great fabric for the majority of this bag. The bottom of the pack however also boasts an 800d nylon bottom making it very water resistant. YKK zippers throughout the pack give any user security in packing this bag to the limits, and not worrying about busting through the zipper.

There are two mesh water bottle holders on each side of the pack. Although you might be able to squeeze a 32oz. Nalgene in them they wouldn't be very secure. They have adjustable cinch straps that are elastic and you either love them or hate them. I personally feel that having the elasticity makes for a more secure water bottle. The pack has a nice exterior pouch for almost anything you want. It is a convenient pouch for a jacket that you do not want to carry or maybe a wet item that needs to dry. With the majority of the pouch being mesh, it allows for plenty of air flow and the ability to see what is inside. The buckle is also placed below the small front zipper pocket for easier access to your gear. The small zipper pocket on the front is a nice easy way to keep things easily accessed. I keep a pair of head phones, some OTC medications, and a LD20 in the zippered pocket with plenty of room to spare.

The two shoulder straps are excellent in distributing weight rather than "bunching up" and causing the majority of the weight to be applied to a small area on the shoulders. The chest strap has a few key features in that it is not only adjustable width wise but also in height. The quick release buckle is easily accessed and also features an emergency whistle. If you are not a big guy like myself, there might be an extra length of the strap that hangs down from the chest strap. I easily fixed this issue with a little bit of Velcro designed for organizing electrical wires. The hide-able waist strap is very comfortable on your hips. They have a nice lightly padded section of fabric that keeps the straps from pressing into your hips. The waist straps are very nice for when you have a heavy load, keeping the weight mostly onto your hips rather than your shoulders.

A plastic insert behind the padding on the back of the pack makes for a very comfortable day of hiking. The plastic insert allows that pack to maintain its shape consistently no matter what the contents. This especially comes in handy when you don't have flat items in the pack that might press awkwardly into your back. The padding on the back is generously thick and designed for optimal air flow down your back for those hot and humid days. There are also two cinch straps on either side of the pack angled down about 25 degrees with quick release closures.

There are two primary sections of the Recon. The smaller of the two is more of an admin pouch found in most back packs. This section boasts quite a few dividers including four pen pouches, two business card pouches, a pocket that would fit a pack of note cards, a large zipper pocket, and last but not least, a large open pocket with a small Velcro closure. The entirety of this section is great in holding quite a bit of my everyday gear (first-aid kits, pocket organizers, camera, hygiene bag, etc...). The large section of the pack has plenty of room for hiking gear with a lunch or maybe a couple binders and a few books. Inside the large pouch is a nice laptop sleeve with the ability to accept up to a 15" laptop that can also double as a water bladder pocket. This sleeve is also padded for extra security for your electronics. A small strap secures your laptop in place connecting to the top of the bag next to the water bladder exit flap. The only issue I have found is that when you max out the smaller front pocket, the larger section is difficult to put in or retrieve items from. Not a huge deal, however it is something to think about before you make your purchase.

Overall, a very nice everything bag. If you carry an EDC bag but don't want to look "Tactical" or maybe you are a student with a few books, this pack is definitely for you. With its excellent padding and ergonomics, loading this bad boy up to the max puts no extra strain on your shoulders or back. The excellent quality of this pack makes it easy to take this pack outdoors knowing it won't fail you when on a hike, especially when a broken strap could easily ruin your day. This pack is obviously a favorite since the basic design of this pack hasn't changed over the years and is still a top seller for The North Face. The price is definitely reasonable and this pack can be purchased on sale several times a year. I highly recommend this pack with a rating of 9 out of 10.

I love this backpack. It will hold 2 thousand page textbooks, 2 one inch binders, and my MacBook Pro. The straps and back are designed so it's easy to carry around.

Broken down:

The side pockets are designed to hold water bottles. They're mesh. There's a bungy cord thing that lets you adjust the size to fit your bottle.

The front mesh pocket is designed to hold whatever! I usually put the book we're reading for lit and my graphing calculator in there. There's a buckle at the top which is perfect for clipping a lunch box or a lanyard to.

The top outside pocket is where I put pens and pencils, it's really convenient and easy to access. I usually put my cell phone in there also.

The first big front pocket has an organizer for pens and pencils and electronics. It has a place to clip your keys also.

The back pocket has rooms for book and a back pocket that I use for my laptop.

I love this backpack. It's cute, versatile, and easy to haul around my 5 million text books and papers. Highly recommended.

I recently upgraded my Jansport SuperBreak backpack for this one. I needed something with more functional pockets and water bottle pockets especially. As the title says, Im a nursing student and leave my house at 7 am every morning not to return until at least 6 or 7 in the evening. This backpack is amazing. First off, its a North Face product so you know it will last forever. Second. The Pockets!! It has a computer pocket, which I use for folders so they dont bend and get crushed by the enormous texts that fit comfortably in the main compartment. Then it has what I call the pencil box pocket. With enough room to store an abundance of pens and highlighters which also contains a zippered container where I keep my lady products and deodorant. There is also a tiny pocket thats perfect for my mints, gum and class clicker.Last but not least the outside netted pocket. This was the main reason I chose this backpack over the others. My stethoscope and pocket nursing book goes in here or some times I do some rearranging and put my lunch in there.

I realize giving you the breakdown on how exactly I use this backpack is a little excessive but it gives a clear picture on how much this backpack can really hold without looking gigantic on ones back. I highly recommend this to anyone who spends more time away from home then they would like.

When I first got this bag around 5 years ago I didn't want to spend too much money on a backpack for college, but after being recommended this bag from a friend I decided to fork over the money to get it. Looking back at it, it was one of the best investments i've made in school. This bag is still going on strong and in great condition, I love the organizer and side compartments for water/drinks (esp helpful so you can bring your own fluids for school instead of buying overpriced things on campus). Where I think I really got the most bang for my buck, is on trips no matter if it was a little weekend trip or traveling by airplane this bag is built with great quality. It was fit clothes/toiletry's/laptop and keyboard without any problems for far away trips. For school the bag is great because of the amount of compartments help you keep things separated and i could fit 4-5 LARGE (300-400 page) books inside the bag. Now on to the drawbacks.

Cons---The waist buckle broke about a year ago on a trip to chicago (still works but a piece of the buckle is broken)

My older model the front zipper is covered by the buckle, so you always need to do undo the buckle before getting to the zipper (TNF fixed this for the new models)

So in the end great bag for the price but only if you intend to keep it for a extended period of time, so you get a great return on your investment.

I needed a durable lightweight backpack I could use to hold a few necessities for the daylong activities my kids participate in. This fit the bill perfectly...it is well made was perfect for my needs...the orange is a nice bright orange, a favorite color of mine :)

This black bag has been very useful to me. I take it with me to the gym and on short trips. It can be compacted but can also hold a lot of things. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for something to throw your stuff into quickly and toss if over your shoulder and be off. Sometimes the strings get a little uneven and you remember what you paid for it, but with a little twisting they're back to normal.

Soccer Duffle Carrying Bag - 19"

I bought this bag to carry my stuff to/from my son's soccer games. When the bag arrived I noticed that the material is satin with the balls printed on it. Good thing I bought it for me! It seems to be durable and suits my needs for my camera, extra snacks and water, sunscreen, etc. It will hold cleats and other uniform items if that is what you buy it for, but be warned, the fabric may not stand up to mud, grass, and kids.

The case really is pretty, but it turned out a lot darker than the skin. The skin has all the right colors--vibrant blues and the watch is a great color. I'm very happy with the skin, though I'm still smoothing out a few of the bubbles from application (my fault, not theirs). However, the case is just...lacking....oh, it's pretty, but it's much duller than the skin. The blue just looks a little tired and there isn't the same amount of contrast between the background and the butterflies, making it hard to make out the entirety of the picture. It's also a little thin, so while it does my job of protecting my net book in my purse, if you're looking for something that will protect your hardware in high impact instances, look elsewhere. To get a good feel of how much it will protect your technology, go to walmart and feel the inside of the cases with the handles. They are about the same, though this case is made with a better quality.

Zeroshock III 15-inch Widescreen Notebook CaseThis is the case my son wanted for his Macbook Pro. It is far less expensive than another I had steered him toward.

And, it clear why this is so.

It's really a "sleeve", not a case. I would only use this sleeve along with real padded case, or for temporary storage on a table or a desk.

The foam is a very thin and compressible layer, albeit eggshell waffled/patterned, and the bottom edge of the case has no foam protection at all, just plastic.

The protection this case affords is probably against slight knocks and rubbing which might mar a laptop. I don't believe that this sleeve would ever protect a laptop in an actual drop unless one were very fortunate.

The sleeve is entirely flexible and penetrable so nothing to protect it from being dangerously flexed or punctured if in a poorly padded backpack or dropped.

A Macbook Pro, 2012 model, does not fit well. It slides about as another reviewer indicated. A larger 15" laptop might fit better.

Compare, for example, a Mach 3 Composites carbon fiber case. Or a Moshi Codex. They are more expensive but you get what you pay for.

For the price I paid, $24, it's a nice enough sleeve, not "case", and the orange will make it very easy to find. But for thorough protection, I do not feel that it is adequate protection for an expensive laptop by itself.

Tried with both my older Macbook Pro 15" and the newer Unibody one, it has a few (~5) cm extra space with both, causing them to slide around considerably. If it were a little smaller/tighter, it'd be perfect. As it is, it allows the laptop way too much movement/sliding. On the plus side, it seems to be impact and water-resistant, for the occasional drizzle/splash, which is nice, but I wouldn't carry it around further without sticking it in an additional "laptop compartment" type bag. Due to its size, and texture (as well as the sliding problem mentioned above,) it's very difficult to carry without an extra bag/case to hold it in. By comparison, the older Brenthaven case I had fit like a glove and seemed to offer much better movement protection as a result of this, despite lacking the "memory foam" of this case. Too bad, since this case is so stylish and otherwise well-designed. Why ZS chose to not fit it to the Macbook Pro better is just odd and annoying. The outer pocket is also mostly useless except perhaps for a few sheets of paper, or occasionally cramming the AC adapter in, though there's no padding between the pocket and main case, so putting the heavy, angular AC brick in there negates much of the protection.

This case is thin, lightweight, and durable. I use it for my 15'' Macbook Pro, and it's kept the computer safe for nearly a year! What makes this case stand out from other sleeves (ex. neoprene or fabric) is the tough foam waves that line its inside. These waves seem to absorb shock and minimize movement. The case itself is very sturdy-when it opens, the flaps don't flop over. They stay straight. This is really more of a shell than a sleeve, but it's flexible and light.

I'm very satisfied with this, and will definitely purchase this again. My only issue is that orange does get dirty rather quickly, and it's extremely difficult to wash. I'll probably go with black next time.

I guess depending on your 'philosophy' on sleeves, you'll figure out whether this is the right choice for you or not. Do you think hard is better, or do you prefer thick and spongy? I went for the hard as I'll be carrying it inside a courier bag most of the time. To be honest, I don't know if the perfect sleeve does exist, one that is lightweight and offers 100% resistance to breakage. Anyhow I digress visually this sleeve looks great, but I couldn't care less about appearances: I just want straight protection for my laptop. This sleeve seems to do the job and while admittedly it's not getting tested due to a lack of big knocks, I really hope I never have to find out what its limitations are.

Targus TNC101US Sport Netbook Case for up to 10.2-Inch Netbooks (Black/Grey) This is a great case for my ASUS Eee PC 1000HE netbook. It is a perfect size and well padded to provide great protection for the contents. Despite its small size, it also has enough room for the power adapter plus cord, a Logitech V450 Nano Mouse, a LiteOn eSAU208-31 Slim Line External DVD Burner and the power adapter and cord for the latter. With some careful packing, I can also include the Targus slimline power inverter and cables in order to use the netbook in my car or plug it into an airline seat on longhaul flights. Only gripe, my case arrived without the advertised padded shoulder strap and with 4 smaller and inadequate carrying straps. Targus responded well to my complaint and quickly sent me a very nice padded strap to replace the missing one. I purchased this Targus case fom DataVis.com but do not bothering to call Datavis if you encounter any problem, they are just an on-seller and will only refer you to Targus, anyway. I can strongly recommend this case from a functionality perspective but it is still too early to comment on its durability although it seems pretty sturdy and I would expect it to last well. It looks attractive too and the black and silver exterior perfectly complements the Asus Netbook it contains. Highy satisfied with this purchase and at the advertised price, it is an unbeatable value.

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire One (6 cell version) and ended up spending a surprising amount of time looking for a case for it before tripping across this one. I am happy to report that it is a perfect fit. Moreover, it has a full size external zipper pocket that is roomy enough to hold both the Samsung external optical drive I purchased for the machine and the battery charger without adding any appreciable bulk. The detachable shoulder strap is the option I particularly wanted since I often do not have a free hand when traveling. The only mystery is why Amazon does not list this case among the suggested cases for the ACER machine since it is an excellent choice.

I found this case in Staples. At first I did not like the way it looked, very bulky. Bought it anyway, it was the only netbook case in stock. Fits the new Aspire One with large battery perfectly. There is a lot of padding, straps and room to store additional supplies, etc. I plan to keep the bag now. It is what is.... nice workmanship, nicely put together, I even kind of like the bulk.

This is the Targus Sport Standard Computer Backpack Model #TSB215. It is the same as model Model #TSB212 (there is a picture of this type on the Amazon{.com} site) except that is has blue fabric where the Model #TSB212 has a platinum color. This ensures that this backpack doesn't look like your average computer bag and that is an added bonus if you ask me.

The bag itself was designed by people who really know what is needed in a notebook backpack. Finally enough space to take something more than just a computer. You can add some books and there is plenty of space for all the wires/batteries/mouse etc. There are separate pockets all over and they are useful in size and lay-out. There is a variety of mesh pockets on the inside and they are fantastic for disks and smaller things. There is even a cell phone bag attached to front of the one of the straps that comes off if you don't need it.

The notebook pocket is located right in the back in the largest compartment of the bag, and thus reducing the experienced weight to the absolute minimum. The notebook pocket is firmly padded and this pocket is suspended so when you put the bag down the notebook will not hit the floor.

Overall I'm thrilled and since a variety of well-known brands have opted for this design to become their standard backpacks, I'm not surprised. Well worth the money and a great buy!

This case is a great little case for netbooks. It is big enough, with extra pockets to hold all the extras you may be carrying around with the netbook, like a power cord, mouse, and possibly even an external cd drive. Construction seems to be high quality. I would have given this thing perfect reviews EXCEPT....

It does not come with a shoulder strap, multiple other buyers mentioned this in their reviews as well. I contacted Targus' customer service and was basically told "sorry, tough luck, here is one you can buy for the same price as what the whole case cost you". Even though the description here on amazon, on targus' website, and on the product packaging clearly states and shows it with a padded shoulder strap. Since a strap to allow it to be carried hands free is kind of the whole point of getting this case, that one ommision cost it 4 stars.

Some other reviewers seemed to have luck getting a replacement strap from Targus but they pretty much ignored me so don't hold your breath.

My wife and I like to travel out of country a couple times a year. And obviously when you travel internationally the security screening is much more detailed. TSA always wants you to take your laptop out of the bag and set it in its own container to be scanned. With this backpack all I have to do is unzip the laptop compartment completely. When fully unzipped the bag has the ability to completely lay flat and keep the laptop separate and away from all of the other things in your bag. This way you do not have to take your laptop out of your bag anymore. I will point out that if you use this bag for this purpose then you must only keep your laptop in the laptop compartment. Keep all of your other laptop accessories in other areas of the bag. That is very important to be able to use this bag like it is meant to be used. Besides the main feature of the laptop compartment there is plenty of other storage. There is a place for USB drives or mem cards and a pocket here and there for just about everything. It also has a little net on the side of the bag. Just unzip a small zipper and pull out the net and suddenly you have a place to keep your bottled water. Very convenient for travel and even everyday use. Light weight and comfortable to carry on either one or both shoulders.

This backpack was the best I've had until the straps (hand and shoulder) started to crack. The handle has started to crack and I fear it will not be too long until it gives. One of the shoulder straps has pulled apart at the seams and the inner padding has started to pop out. And since I only have my 14-inch Dell laptop and my Dell tablet along with AC chargers it isn't like it is carrying a very heavy load. So a bit disappointed there but it has so far been able to carry most of my essentials at the office and while traveling. However, I will consider getting another since, again, this has been the best backpack I have had so far.

These backpacks are good quality considering the price. My complaint comes from not being able to specify a color, and often getting a color not advertised. We ordered 10 backpacks, and instead of the red/blue/black options given on the webpage, we got purple, lime green, hot pink, and turquoise. Nice colors, but not what we expected. On our second order we got bright orange. If you like surprises, then you will like these backpacks, but if your son won't want to carry a hot pink bag to school, you should keep looking elsewhere.

The backpacks seem decent but I regret ordering from assorted, bc where the picture show four colors I thought I might receive, I opened the box to see two bright pink backpacks. I have four boys...they didn't appreciate the color choice. If I had realized there were more colors in there assorted, I would have never order them.

I was looking for a larger but fun backpack to take as a carry on for flights. This worked and provided more room than I expected. I took it to Disneyland with me and ended up stuffing one of the character Pet Pals Pillow things in there which not only did it fit completely but I could also get my small purse, phone, kindle, water bottle, and misc other things with no problems it still fit nicely under the seat. My original order I received the orange. Since that clashed with my luggage, I ordered another and hoped for the best the second backpack received was the green which worked out great. Not sure yet if I'll keep the orange (I do llke it but do I need two backpacks??)

The backpack is good for now. I only carry it once or twice a week, which I can not really speak about the durablity. I can say it appears to be made from good quality material. I would like if it was a little bigger inside. Wish it had one more small pocket.

Lillebaby Oslo Diaper Bag

pros: functional with lots of thoughtful touches to organize your diaper bag, such as front pockets for wipes, pockets on the inside for plastic bags for soiled clothes, back pocket for changing pad to keep it separate from the rest of your stuff, small inside zippered pocket for your wallet/cell phone. I like the bright color and it is easy to hang from the stroller.

cons: from the picture, i thought the flap would cover the whole top of the bag, but it actually only covers the front outer pockets, not the main compartment. So things can still easily fall out of the top because the magnets that are supposed to hold the main compartment closed aren't that strong.

i also bought this because it could convert into a backpack, but that function is a bit awkward if the main compartment doesn't closethings could fall out. my husband found if you loop the strap so you're wearing it backwards, (wipes pockets towards your back) that helps with the problem.

I was originally attracted to this bag because of the features, pockets, and color. I was not disappointed with most of the features except I do wish the bag was a little bigger inside. When I put all my stuff in it, such as, diapers (about 5/6), wipe case (havent tried the front pocket yet), change of clothes, burp rag, breastfeeding cover, wallet, couple of toys...it can sometimes undo the magnetic clasp. When that happens, the diaper bag is completely open. One of the feautres that I had liked was that it wasnt a zipper but magnetic...but like the previous reviewer stated, I also had thought the flap went over the bag not just the wipe/tissue dispenser.

What I do like are all the pockets! I like how I can keep her pacifer in its own pocket...it has a place for my water on the side...i put my camera in the pocket in the front...the material is not cheap and it is sturdy...it is comfortable to wear...and it is simple and cute looking, just my style! I am overall happy with the bag just wish it was bigger inside or the flap went over the opening! Hope that helps!

Pros:

-Pockets! Lots of them, well sized, and in convenient places. I love being organized and the pockets allowed me to create an excellent system.

-Not too deep and not to shallow. Was just perfectly proportioned for me and all the baby's things.

-Theoretically, the wipes and tissue pockets were really handy. (See two points below.)

-Nice basic design, similar to the messenger bag I so loved in college and not excessively cutesy.

-Magnetic close makes is so much easier to access supplies at the public bathroom changing table and on the go.

Cons:

-The wet wipes container fell apart the first few days of using, so became useless as the wipes would dry up. Since I couldn't find anything to replace it that pocket was left unused.

-The pockets for the wipes and the tissues were shorter and if I left a small box of tissues in the one pocket the smaller pocket underneath it was almost inaccessible.

-Thin fabric making it prone to collapsing.

-Stitching between inner pockets unraveled, now one large pocket.

-Cushion pad on shoulder strap ripping off-just from carrying?!

-I never got around to hooking up the bag to the stroller as it seemed relatively involved. There are much easier hook up designs out there.

-I could also comment on the changing pad but I have yet to find a well sized, t-shaped one that comes with the diaper bag.

Why 3 stars? Well, overall it is a well thought out design with several good ideas just needs some upgrades. Overall, I could have lived with some of the issues (although, would have continued to be frustrated) but with a gift certificate I promptly purchased a skip hop which is a bit too deep and not as wide but certainly competes for quality of fabric, easy stroller snaps, and overall construction.

I purchased this diaper bag to have a "gender friendly" bag for my husband to use and for the organization the bag has. The best part has been the front flap that allows for wipes and tissues to be easily pulled out. We've loved the option and have not had any issues with the wipes drying out. The inside compartment is great too a place for paci's and a side pouch that easily dispenses bags for dirty diapers. But, as others have commented, the magnetic strip will not stay closed once you load up the bag with the needed necessities for a more than a couple of hours out, leaving the contents exposed. That is the only con to the bag. A zipper closure or full flap like a messenger bag would be better, but overall, I still am happy with the purchase.

This bag may be one of the best investments I have ever made! I use it for everything. It was originally purchased three years ago as a day pack for our hike of the Inca Trail in Peru. I did a lot of research and determined that this would be the best solution. We needed a pack large enough to carry gear for the day and any type of weather. We were not carrying tents or sleeping bags, so we needed a bit less space. My husband was so impressed when it arrived, that he purchased the exact same bag in a large. Since it's first successful outing, this bag has been our go-to bag for any and all trips. We've taken it on airplane flights stuffed full of our daughter's blankets, toys and DVD player with enough room for our books and light sweaters. It's gone on car trips packed with clothes and toys. It's gone on day hikes and picnics with food and blankets. It went to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro stuffed with 3 liters of water, jackets, rain gear, snacks etc. It is a roomy size for a daypack and large enough for a weekend overnighter. The pull tabs are nice as they have rings you can grab even with thick gloves on. The storage pocket on top is great for keys, passports and other items you need in a hurry. The front pocket holds travel folders, books, snacks and sweaters with ease. The drink pockets on the side, like most packs, are useless for water bottles if you are hiking. They fit in, but are difficult to squeeze in if you have the straps down tight and require you to take off your pack to get them back in. They are great for an extra water bottle (as camelbak backup) or for storing snacks, Goo shots, pocket translators, etc. The hip belt is comfy and has never dug uncomfortably into my hip bones. If you tighten the chest strap too tight, it pulls the top straps a bit too close and can rub your clavicals, but keep it loose enough and it is fine. The two hip pockets are super convenient for chapstick, money, candy, etc and are suprisingly large. The load straps are easy to adjust and keep loads (light and heavy) well balanced. It hugs my back and stays put, but also has a very nice air gap that prevents too much sweat. I recommend this bag to anyone and everyone you will not be disappointed!

I love this backpack so much. I am 5'6" and I got the S/M size. It's super tough and you won't believe how much stuff you can cram into it. I had to have dressy clothes for conferences, something warm for cool nights in Scotland, and everything in between. I only took a pair of birkenstock gizeh sandals and a foldable pair of flats + tiny shower sandals for shoes, to be fair (I mostly wore the birks and the latter two didn't really take up room). I also loved that for hiking and day trips, I could empty everything into a big shopping bag wherever I was staying and use this as a daypack. Super comfy and I still use it all the time now that I'm back at work/school.

We are doing a awesome hike between camps in the Sierras this summer, so I needed something that was bigger than my regular "go out and hike for the day" pack, but do not need to carry a tent and sleeping bag. The Talon sales pitch was centered around its versatility, which is what initially drew me in. And let me say, it definitely delivers on that front. Basically this is a hybrid between a day pack and a full backpacking rig. The compromise was reached by removing a dedicated space for a tend and sleeping bag, so that means it's probably not suited for extended camping trips unless you're into building your own shelter, but if you're doing something like backpacking Europe and will be staying in hostels, it's absolutely ideal.

Experienced hikers who know how to pack efficiently can still get by though, since the excess of external straps means it can actually fit substantially more gear than its cubic inch count indicates. If you want to go all-out you can really cram a lot in/on it, but if you want to do a casual day hike it's small and light enough that it doesn't feel awkward when only partially full. No need to bring an extra day pack.

One of my favorite parts is the four front pockets: one small elastic one on each shoulder strap, and one medium-sized zip-up one on each hip strap. This allows you to carry quite a few frequently-used items (e.g. phone, flashlight, swiss army knife or small snacks) while on the go.

If you're planning on anything over a 50-miler through the Cascades, this won't replace a full-sized external frame unless your a hardcore pro. For anything else though and I mean pretty much anything this gets the job done.
