Disney Wizards of Waverly Place Backpack

Disney Wizards of Waverly Place BackpackI had to look for a new backpack to use while I'm on the go, found this one and it seems to be durable so far.

It has a nice design on the handle and sides which allow for holding cans of soda pop or water. I usually use a book bag for my school supplies and trips but this was a good deal for me compared to other backpacks and messenger bags so I picked this one up instead. My last book bag lasted at least a year maybe two, hopefully this backpack will be as durable as that book bag, it should be it says on the tags reinforced seams and comfort designed padded straps so it seems to be of high quality. Not a Disney fan, but the design is convenient, and looks good overall. Very high quality. Recommended.

Very nice item. Came as it was shown in the ad. The color and quality of the bag was as expected. the product is being used daily for school.

Rothco Vintage Canvas Flight Bag in Earth Brown

Rothco Vintage Canvas Flight Bag in Earth BrownQuality fabric and zipper. Very well constructed. It turned out to be a lot bigger than I imagined from the photo I have a small women's frame. But its perfectly sized for the average man's back. Still, its a great bag and I love using it!

I bought this bag as a gift for my boyfriend. It is a lot more durable than I thought it would be. I love the canvas material that's used.

The bag itself is very large and fits everything he needs in it, and the straps are surprisingly very comfortable. I would recommend this bag for anyone interested!

Fire Red VG Pindar Edition Durable Messenger Shoulder Bag Case for Acer Aspire One AO722 AO725 AO75

Fire Red VG Pindar Edition Durable Messenger Shoulder Bag Case for Acer Aspire One AO722 AO725 AO756 AOD255 AOD255E 11.6 inch Netbook + SumacLife TM Wisdom Courage WristbandI had a different case for my Acer Aspire 11.6" netbook, but the zipper on that broke very quickly. Not wanting to take my chances with that company again, I relegated myself to spending $40 (including the $12 shipping), on this case. I wish that I hadn't had to pay so much for it, but will say that it is a very nice case. It fits perfectly and is durable, protective, and well made.

Hopefully by the time you are seeing this review, either the price has come down or there is a free shipping option, but even if you have to pay $40, like I did, you'll probably find that it is worth it. I'm not at all disappointed in it.

Baggallini Luggage Roundtrip Bag

baggallini Roundtrip CrossbodyI love the Baggallini Roundtrip cross-body bag. I wanted something that would hold just a few items -wallet, coin purse, keys, cell phone, lip balm, comb, business cards, and possibly a pen and some paper. This is the perfect bag for these things. It could probably hold a few more things, such as sunscreen or gloves, hand wipes, and a Kindle. I love the wide straps, since narrow straps cut into my shoulders. The nylon fabric resists lint and pet hair, so it looks tidy even though my house isn't. It's much wider than my old purse, but it's very flat so I can't stuff it full of too many things. Which is great for me, but if you're looking at the height and width and expecting to be able to put a lot of things in it, you'll be disappointed. I've only had it a week, so I can't comment about durability, but it seems well-made. There are several compartments. In the picture, you can see a large and a small zip compartment. What you can't see is that the smaller zip compartment lifts up to reveal another zip compartment of equal size underneath it, just big enough to hold a wallet or keys. And there is a large pocket-style compartment in the back, held closed with one snap. Inside the main zip compartment, there is a small zip compartment and organizer pockets for holding several credit/ID/business cards, two pens, and a smartphone or PDA. The main compartment also holds a small cosmetics purse, which is clipped to a strap that attaches to the inside lining.

I like this bag it is sleek and compact. A couple of things to be aware of: there is not room for extra stuff (like sunglasses), and it is a bit dark/difficult to see all your cards in the 10-card built-in organizer.

Laptop Briefcase For Samsung Series 7 Chronos Np700Z5a, R540 15.6", RV510 15.6" & RV511 15.6" By DU

Laptop Briefcase For Samsung Series 7 Chronos Np700Z5a, R540 15.6', RV510 15.6' & RV511 15.6' By DURAGADGETSo I ordered the case thinking it would be a high quality case. Turns out its very thin material and not nearly as high quality looking as the image looks. To add insult to injury it took several days longer than the estimated shipping. This normally doesn't bother me, but when I pay additionally for shipping. Yeah, this bothers me. When I got the case it didn't have the one thing I was hoping for too, the shoulder strap! It wasn't inside the packaging at all. Honestly I would spend a little more money to get a better case or just don't get this case all together. It's not worth the money.

Spider Man Spider Sense Clear Backpack

Spider Man Spider Sense Clear BackpackGreat condition, fast delivery! My son loved it. Now days kids need clear backpacks for school, and this still kept it fun!Very Cute!

Our school requires mesh or clear bookbags. The choices at the stores are slim so all the kids end up with the same bags. My son says all the other boys in his class love his bag. It is different and at the end of the day he has no problem picking his out from all the others. This is its 2nd year of use and it still looks new. I will be purchasing the Tinker-Bell for my girl next year.

Puma Barricade PMAM1058 Backpack

Puma Barricade PMAM1058 Backpack,Green,One SizeRidiculously sturdy. When I fly, I only take one bag, and this backpack has yet to show any signs of stress—and trust me, it has seen plenty of reason to.

Pretty and sturdy backpack at a value price that I bought for work on short term projects in Washington DC to stow my stuff and it works great with several zippered compartments.

I picked this up as a gift for my nephew, who has a larger laptop without a carrying case for it. Given the 17" capacity and the fact that he can also use it as a travel bag for sleep-overs, it will get plenty of use and from initial appearances, it should be able to handle it well.

Nice, High Quality backpack that I will feel comfortable carrying my computer in when I travel. And there is plenty of room to haul along the accessories.

Want Puma Barricade PMAM1058 Backpack Discount?

I'll start by saying that this is a solid backpack. It is sewn together well, and I have not had any trouble with loose strings, or anything falling apart. This backpack can be used for skaters who need a place to put their board, general use, or even a laptop backpack.

Personally, I use this backpack for work so I constantly carry a laptop. There is a good amount of padding in the laptop slot, although there is not a strap over the laptop slot, which shouldn't matter unless you plan on hanging upside down. It securely holds your laptop in place.

Pros:

Place to keep board (for skaters)

Solid stitching, not likely to tear

Slot to keep Ipod/etc.

Laptop slot with good padding

Multiple zip up pockets

Zippers have extended rubber gribs to make it easier to grab and zip

Cons:

Side pockets only have 1 zipper, so you cannot put a water bottle in or it will fall out.

No padding on the straps

All in all, it is a great backpack and well worth the money!

Osprey FlapJack Men's Courier Shoulder Bag

Osprey FlapJack Men's Courier Shoulder BagI like this bag a LOT. Heck, I like this company a lot. I think they could take the Pepsi challenge with Eagle Creek and Timbuk 2 for quality, design and service. I also looked at the Timbuk 2 Command, and Thule Crossover.

I've had this bag for a few months now, and I use it every day for work, however, I've not used it while riding a bike yet.

It is well designed, with great build quality (durable materials, stitching and fasteners), and it looks sweet. I would call it "sporty professional."

There is not a lot of detailed info for this bag on Amazon or Osprey, so I'll elaborate for anyone who cares...

Design comments:

One main flap covering entire interior of bag.

Main pocket is open and roomy with a padded slot (sized for laptop, manilla folders, w/ velcroed tab closure), a zippered lightly padded pocket (sized for tablet, 8.5x11s), and flexible, unstructured remaining space (sized for shell/jacket + soft lunch bag, 14" legal docs). I have been able to easily fit a 18" tall roll of drawings fully into this pocket (at a diagonal). There is a small handle inside the main pocket.

Zippered Pockets: one on main flap/cover (size of compact disc), one on side of bag (insulated coffee mug), two accessory pockets in front of bag (under flap), one (tablet & 8.5x11 papers) inside main pocket.

Mesh elastic pockets: one inside aforementioned "coffee mug" pocket (sized for coins plus smart phone), one inside main compartment (2 travel umbrellas).

Miscellaneous: 1st accessory front pocket: 6x8, w/ key clip; 2nd larger accessory pocket: 8x10, 2 open slots (one large smartphone, one iPod classic), 2 pen slots.

Back of bag has fully adjustable & removable 1/2" webbing w/ fastex buckles. With this you can secure bag around waist while riding bike, or secure bag to rolling luggage handle.

Bag has tendency to stay upright and not fall over, if contents are evenly distributed. Bottom of bag is relatively flat.

Flap can be secured to main bag body in two ways: two typical "fastex" click buckles on outside of flap and velcro. (Amazon blowhard comment: I covered the velcro flap with a 2" x 4" piece of loose velcro to prevent the flap from continuously grabbing).

Bag handle: very comfortable.

Shoulder strap: pad is very comfortable, has grippy/tacky surface and slides along main strap. Strap has ingenious single-action clasp for quick and effortless adjustment.

Aesthetic comments: Bag has black (well, not the blackest black, closer to a dark, slate grey) body with reflective accents, and medium grey straps. It has a lime green liner, which provides contrast to the pockets. (Amazon blowhard comment: I didn't expect the green interior, and wouldn't be my first choice, but I got used to it). Exchangeable accent color straps for main flap cover buckles.

Cons: A bit weak on the amount of information/pictures available on this product, including Osprey's own site was lacking. Frankly, I felt a bit uneasy buying it without more photographic/descriptive info, but I felt comfortable with Osprey's track record.

I have no real concerns about this bag, and highly recommend it.

Bought this bag as a replacement for my Osprey Astro. I really liked the Astro, but its getting a bit grubby and I wanted something which wouldn't look too out of place in a business environment.

Overall, I really want to like it the bag itself is a pretty nice design, internal and external pockets are mostly well laid out, and the handle is very sturdy and comfortable (much better than the handle on the Astro).

My main gripe however is with the length of the shoulder strap why is it so short? I'm not especially tall, about 5'9", but with the strap fully extended the top of the bag still sits quite a bit above my hip, somewhat higher than I would prefer for this kind of messenger style bag. Someone with a larger build may find the bag sits even higher.

Would it have been so hard to allow a bit more leeway in the shoulder strap length? A couple more inches would have been better. The strap length on the Astro was pretty much perfect.

Also, one feature I really liked on the Astro which is missing on the Flapjack is the top zipper which allows access the the main compartment without having to open the main flap this really is incredibly handy and the one feature which would have made this bag just about perfect.

The only other comment I have is about the side pocket it has one zipped side pocket on the left hand side. I would have liked to have another pocket like this on the right hand side as well.

Other than these points, its a very nice bag and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

Buy Osprey FlapJack Men's Courier Shoulder Bag Now

You won't find quality like an Osprey product anywhere else on the market. Sometimes the price tags for their bags can be a little intimidating but understand that you are hands down buying some of the material craftsmanship available. This stuff lasts and can take a serious beating, it's almost as if it has permanent Scotchguard protecting all of the fabric. This is the second Osprey bag I've purchased, my first being the Veer. I've always been amazed at the quality of their products and this is no exception.

This bag in particular is extremely spacious, you'll be amazed by what you can cram in this thing and still be left with space. I load it up in the morning with my laptop, charging cables, various odds and ends of gadgets, a 2 liter jug of water, a 32oz coffee mug, a 32oz tea mug, and it's still ridiculous easy to close with plenty of extra room available in the exterior pockets and inner compartments.

I wasn't sure if i'd like the open flap approach of the bag but now it's probably my favorite feature. Getting access to things is snappy and often times you can just pull the side of the flap in and access something from the side without need to even open up the top. The velcro is often times more than enough to secure a heavy load, employing a thick strip which gives a strong grip. This bag is secure and if you take the time to buckle the front flap you won't have to worry about things falling out, even if it tips over.

If you've been going back and forth between bag purchases, or messenger bags in particular, take it from someone who went through many and did his homework: this is the one to get.

Nice looking and high-quality materials. However, not optimal for carrying work papers because it is not structured and contents can get squished. There is a small exterior zipper compartment, but accessing the interior creates a very loud "velcro" noise. If you are in a quiet library or office--people will definitely know when you open your bag. Nonetheless, I give it four stars because it's a good travel bag that holds a lot.

I used this bag for my trip to Seattle. It's a bit wider than I would like for school but it's perfect for traveling. My laptop, a couple books and my headphones fit in the large compartment, but also a doughnut pillow (that's what I call them) and a large scarf I use as a blanket on flights.

I like that it was a mesh pocket in the large compartment for a water bottle so that it's not exposed on the outside. and it was a mesh zippered compartment for documents.

It's super comfortable to wear on your shoulders. I was debating on getting a timbuk2 bag but I tried one on in seattle and i found that those bags are too stiff (maybe just when they're brand new), the shoulder pad is stiffer and not as comfortable (again), and the design of the pockets are kinda silly (at least to my taste)

overall I'm pretty happy with this bag. I got the chili red and i love the color

Hello Kitty Check Backpack - Kids

Hello Kitty Check Backpack - KidsMy daughter discovered Hello Kitty over the summer and desperately wanted this backpack for this school year. Now that the end of the school year is upon us, I must report that the backpack held up amazingly well. There as been really no wear or damage to the bag and is easy to wipe clean. Granted, my daughter is only in First grade and doesn't generally carry a lot of work home, but even so this bag has been thrown about, dropped, stepped on and even had a dousing of juice and survived it all. We are going to use this bag again for next school year.

Case Logic UNS-111 11.6-Inch iPad2/iPad/Tablet/Netbook/Mac Book Air Sleeve (Dark Gray)

Case Logic UNS-111 11.6-Inch iPad2/iPad/Tablet/Netbook/Mac Book Air SleeveFirst I'd say that the case looks pretty much exactly like what is pictured. And guys, while I guess it technically is a floral design on the accent and liner, to me it just looks sort of abstract geometric pattern or maybe like pebbles. One nice feature is rather than just zipping across the top, the zipper actually goes almost around two sides (making an L shape), so its easy to slip your Air in and lay it in the sleeve rather than just drop or slide. The extra zipper on the front opens about 10 inches across and is about 7.25 inches deep, so it is good room to put a power cord and maybe a few other small things.

One thing that I didn't expect, especially after reading the other earlier reviews on here, was is that it doesn't fit the MacBook Air 11.6 inch quite as snug as I anticipated. While it fits snuggly across the width of the computer, there is more than an inch of space to the top zipper. So, depending on how you use it, I suppose the MacBook could shift around a little. However, holding it by the handles, or just putting it in your bag, it seems to mostly stay put. There is a little more padding than just a neoprene sleeve, so I feel pretty good about the case protecting my computer from minor bumps.

After getting my Air back in December, I spent a bit of time looking for a good case that would fit the MacBook Air properly. I've looked in brick and mortar stores, as well as other places online, and this is by far the best I've seen, both by form and for the price.

My wife just got her mac book air and was looking for a case for it and this one meets her specifications exactly:

* Very nicely designed case for the 11 inch mac book air.

* Small enough to fit easily into a backpack but large enough (and has sturdy handles) to carry around on its own.

* Offers a good deal of padding (more padding than I expected, considering that it's so small).

* Subtle, classy design you can't really see it in the Amazon image but there's a bit of a floral pattern running across the front of the case.

An all around good mac book air case and would probably work well with other similarly-sized laptops and netbooks.

My husband gave me an I Pad for Christmas and because I already had a Kindle and a dedicated pocket in my bag for it, I did not know how to protect the I Pad. This bag comes with padding for protection without bulk. The fabric has a subtle pattern that makes it recognizable among the black and grey ballistic nylon bags that are so common these days. I have carried this bag inside briefcases and large purses and even tote bags. This is easy because it is only slightly larger than the electronics it protects. It has protected the IPad from assaults by a three year old grandchild, large dogs and a husband that does not notice that the back seat already has been occupied before throwing a suitcase in. This bag still looks like new despite its travels and I even make sure that the IPad is in it before I fall asleep. It is the best insurance for your electronic carry all/know all device!

This is a great case. Very streamlined, yet it still has a zipper pocket to securely store discs, cords, papers or whatnot.

It is nice to put into a backpack or larger back because, unlike with hardcase covers, it doesn't take up a lot of room with a hard shell. It is snug too which is a good thing for maximum packing ability. The zipper pocket is not obvious, which is great; I feel fine keeping extra cash in this pocket for when we are on a trip and having coffee while checking our email.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the fabric feels a little cheap, not enough to make me not love it, but I wish it felt less like a quilted tablecloth.

Want Case Logic UNS-111 11.6-Inch iPad2/iPad/Tablet/Netbook/Mac Book Air Sleeve (Dark Gray) Discount?

This is a nice padded case that I use for my Eee netbook (@ 10.5" wide). The netbook fits nicely with a little extra room for a mouse & the cords. There is a nice large storage pocket in the front of the case, so well hidden that you'd not notice it if it wasn't for the zipper pull tab. The pocket is not gusseted but provides a nice space for a mouse pad or some other thin item.

Some may not like the flower, rocks, or whatever it is design but it's unobtrusive and it's really not feminine or masculine. The fabric is woven polyester that should be durable and is a nice charcoal gray. The nylon zipper is fine; not a heavy duty model but should be fine for most people. The handles are the same polyester fabric as the case & have a stiffener in the inside. I like that they are meant to fold stay folded down when not in use; it makes it easy to pack this case inside luggage or a briefcase. The handles won't stick up and get in the way. The inside fabric is a lighter gray with the same flower, rock, whatever design in a larger scale.

Case Logic Eva Backpack Notebook Bag 15.4"

Case Logic Eva Backpack Notebook Bag 15.4'I was looking for an everyday backpack to carry a standard laptop and papers to work as a substitute to the standard over-the-shoulder computer bag. Considered a number of the high end packs (Tumi, Booq), but didn't feel they justified the cost (upwards of $200) for just a way to carry a laptop on my back.

Many less expensive backpacks seem to either be the soft kind or come in multiple bright colors. That may be fun for high school, but I needed something more professional looking and feeling. This pack is solid and rigid, is just the right size, has all the necessary compartments, looks professional and has a base that makes is stable upright. The soft top handle is comfortable. It would be good to have a separate compartment designed specifically for the power supply (all laptops have them so why not?), but that's a very minor gripe. All and all, a good basic backpack for my needs at the right price ~$50.

I've tried a LOT but this is the best, the most confortable, perfect capacity, perfect for folders, and other stuff besides your laptop, even i put extra t-shirts.... the best thing when you get to a place and you have to put it in the floor it completely stays still....

Buy Case Logic Eva Backpack Notebook Bag 15.4" Now

I've been using this bag for over four years now and didn't even think to look for it on Amazon because it bought it from another website because I had a gift card. I do remember writing a review, but can't seem to find it on Amazon or the other website, so here goes...

I wanted a backpack style bag because the messenger style ones hurt my shoulder after a business trip due to the weight. Many other bags aren't very simple/professional looking because they looked too much like (at least they did 4 years ago) regular backpacks. In addition, I wanted a bag that had some rigidity to it, which this has.

For the first four years, I used this to carry a 14" and a 15" laptop at the same time. In addition, it usually carried two laptop power adapters w/ cables, about 2-3 magazines, a book, a 4" GPS w/ car charger, an iPod, sunglasses with a hard case, a quarter inch stack of business cards, a 22 oz water bottle, noise-canceling headphones, two flip-style cell phones, an Ethernet cable, and my keys. It's mainly the two heavy, plastic laptops that weigh ~5 lbs each which caused my shoulder to hurt, but now you know why I needed a backpack. Also, I hope it gives you an idea of how much stuff you can pack into this bag which looks relatively small. I even had room to throw in some food bars and beef jerky in the top empty space. More recently, I got an iPad 2, so it dropped 5 lbs.

There are 3 zippers where 2 lead you to the main storage compartment. The zipper closest to your back when you're wearing it opens up the place where my 15" laptop goes. It does not take the full width of the backpack so that the laptop doesn't move as much during transport.

Right next to it, there's some empty space where my 14" laptop and the power adapters & cables went vertically and horizontally. I also took the chance by storing my water bottle vertically in that section because that was the only place it could've gone where the space was wide enough so that it wouldn't get crushed. I used a hard Nalgene bottle that I new wouldn't leak as long as I capped it off right.

A rigid divider separates my 14" laptop section with the section that the other zipper leads to. That narrow section is where my magazines went. In that same section, there is a soft pocket area where I usually stash a small book, the hard eyeglass case, and/or snacks that I didn't mind being crush.

The third zipper opens up to a completely separate compartment that is adjacent to one side of that soft pocket I mentioned. In that compartment, you have two main pockets, one on each wide side of the backpack. That section also has a netted zipper pocket that is a about the size of an adult male's hand. I know that can vary, but you're not talking about that much volume anyway. Next to that netted pocket, you'll find slots that can fit business cards and coins. Also, there are two places for sliding in pens.

As the other reviewer here said, it can stand up on it's own because the bottom is flat and rigid. I think that's where most of the protection comes in, by the way. The hardest part of the bag is at the bottom and prevents the bag from getting crushed except at the top, where the shell is thinner and rounder. The soft handle is strong enough for me to lug the heavy thing around and to put out of overhead bins.

I did run into a recurring problem, however. Because the shell of the case is so rigid, I can't always fit it under the seat in front of me on an airplane when I'm in the aisle seat. Some airlines, usually United's Economy Plus aisle seats, have a center supporting bar closer to the aisle side, which makes this bag about one inch too wide to fit. Also, you can't make it fit by tilting it 45 degrees like a messenger-style laptop bag. Also, without a separate section to put my water bottle, I usually don't ever have a filled bottle in there when the bag isn't vertical or when I don't have bottle I can trust (i.e., one more thing to carry in my hands).

The soft handle is strong enough for me to lug the heavy thing around and to put out of overhead bins. The bag stays clean very well for me. There is some fabric that looked like it got overstretched on the front of the bag (err, the side people see when you're wearing it) and this occurred after some use, but it's not easy to notice because of the darker fabric colors. I can attest to that because I have no idea when it happened. The yellow Case Logic logo ruins the overall simplistic, clean look of the bag because it's near dead-center, but it's a dull yellow and small.

So, overall, it's a good bag and I am surprised how much I was able to stuff into it. However, with some aesthetic issues (where the main one can be fixed if Case Logic puts their logo in the corner) and the lack of space for a water bottle (I know putting in an external pocket will ruin the clean look, but I reserve my 5/5 for something great and water is too basic a need for air travel for me to overlook it), I give this a very strong 4 since I can't give it a 4.5.

Samsonite Venue Backpack Fits Most 17IN NotebooksThe backpact is excelent for 15,4" laptop, has a lot of room and was delivered before than expected.

I'm most impressed with the padding on the back of the bag. You barely feel any pressure; it's so minor. Meanwhile, despite my 17" laptop fitting in the designated area, the fit is tight in my opinion, so for that reason I don't give a perfect rating.

Osprey Talon 33-Litre Backpack

Osprey Talon 33-Litre BackpackThis bag may be one of the best investments I have ever made! I use it for everything. It was originally purchased three years ago as a day pack for our hike of the Inca Trail in Peru. I did a lot of research and determined that this would be the best solution. We needed a pack large enough to carry gear for the day and any type of weather. We were not carrying tents or sleeping bags, so we needed a bit less space. My husband was so impressed when it arrived, that he purchased the exact same bag in a large. Since it's first successful outing, this bag has been our go-to bag for any and all trips. We've taken it on airplane flights stuffed full of our daughter's blankets, toys and DVD player with enough room for our books and light sweaters. It's gone on car trips packed with clothes and toys. It's gone on day hikes and picnics with food and blankets. It went to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro stuffed with 3 liters of water, jackets, rain gear, snacks etc. It is a roomy size for a daypack and large enough for a weekend overnighter. The pull tabs are nice as they have rings you can grab even with thick gloves on. The storage pocket on top is great for keys, passports and other items you need in a hurry. The front pocket holds travel folders, books, snacks and sweaters with ease. The drink pockets on the side, like most packs, are useless for water bottles if you are hiking. They fit in, but are difficult to squeeze in if you have the straps down tight and require you to take off your pack to get them back in. They are great for an extra water bottle (as camelbak backup) or for storing snacks, Goo shots, pocket translators, etc. The hip belt is comfy and has never dug uncomfortably into my hip bones. If you tighten the chest strap too tight, it pulls the top straps a bit too close and can rub your clavicals, but keep it loose enough and it is fine. The two hip pockets are super convenient for chapstick, money, candy, etc and are suprisingly large. The load straps are easy to adjust and keep loads (light and heavy) well balanced. It hugs my back and stays put, but also has a very nice air gap that prevents too much sweat. I recommend this bag to anyone and everyone you will not be disappointed!

(Scotland-Italy-Switzerland-Germany-Turkey) Everything fits, so long as you can do laundry a couple of times.

I love this backpack so much. I am 5'6" and I got the S/M size. It's super tough and you won't believe how much stuff you can cram into it. I had to have dressy clothes for conferences, something warm for cool nights in Scotland, and everything in between. I only took a pair of birkenstock gizeh sandals and a foldable pair of flats + tiny shower sandals for shoes, to be fair (I mostly wore the birks and the latter two didn't really take up room). I also loved that for hiking and day trips, I could empty everything into a big shopping bag wherever I was staying and use this as a daypack. Super comfy and I still use it all the time now that I'm back at work/school.

I am only 5' and finding a backpack that fits is not an easy task. This one is perfect and it is a beautiful shade of PURPLE! Yahoo! We are doing a awesome hike between camps in the Sierras this summer, so I needed something that was bigger than my regular "go out and hike for the day" pack, but do not need to carry a tent and sleeping bag. I love the little zippered pouches in the hip belt they are perfect for my chapstick, sport beans, Aleve, etc.! Oh, and did I mention it is PURPLE!

The Talon sales pitch was centered around its versatility, which is what initially drew me in. And let me say, it definitely delivers on that front. Basically this is a hybrid between a day pack and a full backpacking rig. The compromise was reached by removing a dedicated space for a tend and sleeping bag, so that means it's probably not suited for extended camping trips unless you're into building your own shelter, but if you're doing something like backpacking Europe and will be staying in hostels, it's absolutely ideal.

Experienced hikers who know how to pack efficiently can still get by though, since the excess of external straps means it can actually fit substantially more gear than its cubic inch count indicates. If you want to go all-out you can really cram a lot in/on it, but if you want to do a casual day hike it's small and light enough that it doesn't feel awkward when only partially full. No need to bring an extra day pack.

One of my favorite parts is the four front pockets: one small elastic one on each shoulder strap, and one medium-sized zip-up one on each hip strap. This allows you to carry quite a few frequently-used items (e.g. phone, flashlight, swiss army knife or small snacks) while on the go.

If you're planning on anything over a 50-miler through the Cascades, this won't replace a full-sized external frame unless your a hardcore pro. For anything else though and I mean pretty much anything this gets the job done.

Backpack w Side Phone Pocket in Chocolate

Backpack w Side Phone Pocket in ChocolatePurchased item for a graduation gift. Leather appears to be of good quality, very soft and a good color.

Easy to use drawstring and buckle closures, ample, lined storage compartments.

If purchasing for myself, I would prefer a backpack without outside phone holder. Although convenient,

not sure if that's safest place for phone. Great backpack for college students and travelers.

Very pleased with product, good price, and timely service.

I brought this backpack almost a year ago and the quality is superb! Nearly a year later and it still looks brand new and holds up to test of time! I am very satisfied and I am glad that I brought this backpack. This shade of brown stands out and makes the backpack look masculine. Sorry for the yearlong delay but I wanted to make certain that the product deserve a genuine 5 star rating! This is a great buy!!!

Military Inspired Canvas Crossbody Messenger Bag Bookbag Olive Drab

Military Inspired Canvas Crossbody Messenger Bag Bookbag Olive DrabI was going to review this item with one star but it was shipped really fast and well. However, the bag itself is extremely cheap. I am a college student and I have a mac and I normally bring two folders and two notebooks along with pens and pencils to class. The first time I put all of this stuff in this bag the metal link that holds the strap to the bag bent and broke. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I would not buy this bag if you carry a laptop because it can't handle to weight.

On her last visit she told me she needed a new bag for her books at school. I sent this bag to her and she was thrilled with it. It's easy to carry on the bus and holds everything she needs. She says that it's an upgrade from her traditional backpack.
