First, I have to say the customer service at GearOutHere is second to none. I bought this bag and got a dud. The seller was so upset I received a bad product, he offered to replace it free of charge, even though i was beyond the Amazon return window. The bag itself is great, as advertised, i just had an issue with the straps. Replacement bags were great and quality was excellent. Thank you again GearOutHere. Many times when I go fishing or hunting I need to have my personal gear in one handy and dry place. When I need my wool shirt, down jacket or vest, suntan lotion, hunting knife, compass, and other personal gear, I know where it's at and it's dry, rain or shine.I used this to carry my books to school because it's been raining and book-bags always let water in and make my notebooks wet. So I carry about 2-3 notebooks, a laptop, my lunch, and a small pencil-case to school. The right strap just ripped off after a few days after receiving this. It looks to be weak threads glued onto the bag. I have included a photo:Sunday, December 22, 2013

Acme Made Clyde St. Messenger Bag with BombShell Technical Ballistic Nylon Fabric for 15-Inch Noteb
I am a bike commuter, have always been wanting to buy a "real bike bag". like Seagull, Chrome, and Timbuk2. Aside from saving money, this Clyde bag's shape is so alike with the other bike bag, similar size (other's medium), adjustable strap (though on the different side than bike bags). What different from other bike bags that I like the most, is that there are many compartments, big and small, enough to neatly carry my 15" MBP, loose papers, folders, stationaries, etc.
It also has a handle, makes it easy to carry by hand. Bike bags don't have handle at all, perhaps for practical reason, as the handle gets on my way when I tighten the strap for biking. The material, though not recycled truck material, is very durable. It looks elegant and fancy! Zippers are strong. I lost the Nexus clips (that closes the cover) several times, this is the problem with this older Clyde, there's nothing to hold the clip until I use an office paper clip to seal the open straps. And my Clyde is not totally water resistant, small rain is fine, but things does get wet when it's pouring.
Since I have already get used to the compartments feature, to calm my desire to buy a Chrome, I bought a Timbuk2 Deluxe Strap Pad, and made myself a cross-chest stabilizer. Now it's closer to a bike bag.

Sherpani Tre Medium Shoulder Bag

I discovered new feature after new feature the first three or four times I used this bag, each time to much joy & excitement. There are a total of four zipper compartments: (1) the main compartment, which is large enough to fit a spiral notebook, (2) a small pocket within the main compartment for a wallet, bag of tissues, or other small items, (3) the pocket you see on the outside of the bag, perfect for holding a cell phone, and (4) a pretty sizable "secondary" pocket that I usually use for a small jar of Vaseline, lip balm, and other small items that would otherwise get lost at the bottom of the bag.
On top of these compartments, there are also 4 "pockets, each of which is large enough to fit my very fat clutch wallet, an oversized pair of sunglasses, or whatever else you might need. I wouldn't recommend overstuffing each and every single pocket, though, as it may be difficult to close the bag afterwards. Two of these pockets are inside the zippered main compartment; two are just outside it for easier access but still protected from pickpockets by the "messenger bag" flap.
There's also a drawstring pocket for a water bottle and a keychain ring on the inside of the main pocket.
I've been using this bag pretty much every day since I got it a few weeks ago, and I love it so much that I had to get a second one for my grandma, who loves her bags with lots of pockets and zippers.

First of all, the bag that I received was not the model that was described. The differences are... the flap closes with a metal buckle like closure, not the hook and loop that is pictured and describes. Also, there are no magnets on the flap as described. I was a little disappointed by this as I liked that feature, but I think the buckle is likely easier to open than the hook and loop would have been. Also, there is no interior water bottle holder as was described. To me this wasn't a deal breaker, because I probably wouldn't have used that feature anyway. Now to what I like about the bag. First the size is great. I wanted the messenger look but I didn't want it to look like I was carrying a school bag around as a purse. This bag is the perfect size for me. It has that messenger look but is very petite. I love the black because it goes with everything. I usually wear casual clothes but I can still wear this to church without looking odd as I think a regular messenger would look.
I can fit my purse essentials very easily as well as my iPAD with a case on it but it is a bit of a tight fit height wise. But I can get the flap closed. I'm sure that without the case it would fit fine, but there is no pocket for it so I wouldn't recommend that because you are likely to get scratches from the rest of your contents... The zipper portion on the front will not fit my iPHONE 5 with it's case on. I think my iPHONE 4 might have fit, but the 5 is just a bit too long. The pockets just under the flap are perfect for my iPHONE 5 though. There are two and then on the inside there are two more pockets as well as a zippered pocket, the rest of the interior is open. There is also a mesh pocket on the outside side of the bag that would fit a water bottle if you chose to carry one. Finally the bag is very light which was an important factor for me as I have neck problems. All-in-all I think it is a very nice bag, well made and durable. Happy with my purchase.

I had seen this bag in a retail store and was excited to find it on Amazon for a lower price. Unfortunately the bag that I received did not have the interior water bottle holder as I had seen in the store, even though the description on Amazon stated that it had this feature. So disappointed that I will have to return it.

BBP Bags - Hybrid Hauler Medium Olive
Buy BBP Bags - Hybrid Hauler Medium Olive Now
i own the larger, earlier version of the hampton hauler which i got on closeout. that one is more of a bike bag and has more bells and whistles, but the orange flap makes it just a little too indiscreet for some situations. enter the medium hybrid hauler. it's large enough to hold a netbook + power cable plus a photo insert with a DSLR, 2 lenses and flash. there are two other exterior pockets under the flap and 2 interior pockets, plus the laptop compartment and main compartment. good design, but more bare-bones/basic than more expensive versions of the H/H. the bag will cinch pretty tight for light loads and expand for heavier ones.in addition to students/bike commuters/stealthy travelers, this bag would work well for street photographers--just add the BPP photo insert (which is tops) or a similar one from domke or mountainsmith. you can carry your photo gear to the location on your back, then switch to single-strap when you need to shoot. there's no velcro in the main compartment closure, which is a big plus for photographers trying not to draw attention to themselves.
this is a good medium/small bag. the color is stylish but subdued with that industrial/military/urban look. it's a lot lighter than the larger, more feature-filled H/H but seems just as well-constructed. the connector rings and hooks are all-metal which is an upgrade from the earlier version. the D-rings on front can be used for camera strap, binoculars, carabiner, or to clip one end onto the bag and make the strap shorter in messenger mode. the material is thick nylon which conforms to the shape of the contents.
the cons are that the backpack straps are a little more tighter than the larger bag, which is more of an issue for broad-shouldered people or if you're wearing bulky layers. Also the messenger strap attachment is just as funky as on the other bags. it works, functionally, but the snap which connects the strap yoke to the middle of the bag is exposed. doesnt really get in the way but aesthetically a minus on a bag which is otherwise very clean, simple, and streamlined.
overall, good value for the money and a more versatile option than a Timbuk 2-style messenger bag.

I love this bag. Very comfortable straps and It evens out the weight of everything I'm carrying so I can walk all over New York without my shoulders or back feeling put upon. This bag is sturdy and holds more than I thought it would when I first opened it. My neck/shoulders/back were in pain from carrying a heavy backpack (I am a college student); since I started using this bag my pain has greatly improved. It is easy to switch to a messenger bag when my load is lighter but I mostly use it in backpack mode since I often haul a heavy load. I love the color and the unique styling. It seems like it will hold up well. There are two interior pockets perfect for my waterbottle and snacks, and a couple of zippered compartments that I stash my pens, flashdrive, etc. in. I highly recommend this bag.
