Merkury Innovations 12-Inch Solid Zipper Sleeve, Black/Blue (M-LL1090)

Merkury Innovations 12-Inch Solid Zipper Sleeve, Black/BlueI love this sleeve for three reasons:

1) multiple pouches having more than one compartment helps to keep my things organized as well as convenient. I don't have to root around inside of a pouch or be extremely careful pulling things out. I can throw my mouse and keyboard in one pouch, and battery and tablet in another.

2) unbelievably accommodating I have NEVER had such a stretchy, yet strong tablet/laptop sleeve. I can jam as much stuff into this thing as I want, and it handles it like a champ. It must be made from scuba neoprene or something, because I've been so incredibly rough on this thing, and it still looks brand new.

3) well-padded holding this in your hands, you feel confident about the protection of its contents. I've dropped my tablet multiple times while it's been inside this sleeve, and not a penny worth of damage has resulted. I feel very assured of my digital treasures when they are stowed inside this sleeve.

My only gripe is that the zipper is sometimes finicky, but overall works well most of the time.

I definitely recommend to anyone in search of improved organization and resistance to wear and tear!

This well designed bag is the "perfect fit" for the HP Envy X2. The nylon zippers are safe an easy to use. Perfect bag to prevent any unwanted scratches when packing into or taking out of cases or other bags.

I was surprised and delighted that this 12-inch Neoprene Sleeve-case by Merkury just kept on accepting the stuff I loaded. I was able to easily store a Nexus 7 tablet, a 12-inch Logitech bluetooth keyboard (with case), Gigabyte bt mouse, 3 and 6-foot USB cables, wall charger, Boostaroo headphone amp, 2 headphones (his & hers), silicone and book-style cases, Amazon folding stand, 2 styluses (or is that styli ???). All that and minimal bulging!

This is a quality-made case that slides easily in and out of a backpack, briefcase, bag or suitcase. It's a true sleeve case, with no dangly-handles to interfere.

I'm packed and ready to go in seconds.

Peg Perego Borsa Mamma Diaper Bag, Paloma

Peg Perego Borsa Mamma Diaper Bag, PalomaI actually do like this bag however I marked the bag down because the product is not as described.

The bag's material is a faux leather which should actually be easy to wipe down and the inside is a nylon, again nice for easy wiping but kind of makes a crinkle sound when you are digging through your bag looking for stuff. The bag is advertised as a elegant and functional diaper bag solution which I think is accurate but I would add sporty. This bag isn't as chic as it appears in the pictures but more sporty. I am expecting my second baby and I think I should be able to fit just the bare essentials for two (two sizes of diapers, wipes, changing pad, toys, pacifier, lotion, hand sanitizer, cell phone, small wallet, pens, water bottle, and maybe a nursing cover). There isn't going to be room for extra clothes, blankets, or bottles/formula. But if you only have one or prefer to travel on the lighter side then this bag is plenty roomy. The changing pad is very thick and I am sure would be nice to lay on . . . but I don't have room in the bag to carry such a thick changing pad.

I am disappointed because this bag is advertised as a being able to convert into a backpack which I thought would be a useful feature with two kids. Th 2010 version of this bag does not convert into a backpack and according to the manufacture, only the 2008 and 2009 versions convert into the backpack. This bag also does not come with the pictured "removable bottle holder" and again according to the manufacture, only the 2008 version has this feature. The 2008 and 2009 versions have been discontinued and through various research I can't find anyone who actually sells the 2008 and 2009 versions. Plenty of websites claim to sell them, but once I contact them to confirm they only have the 2010 versions. I've include the Peg Perego response below:

Thank your inquiry. We apologize the confusion. The 2010 Borsa Mamma bag is no longer can be converted into a backpack. This feature was on the 2008 & 2009 models only. The removable bottle holder was also only available on the 2008 Borsa Mamma bags.

Thank you,

Carolina

I wish Amazon and all sellers of this bag would update the information so that they at least correctly advertise the product. The Peg Perego website advertises this bag the most correctly:

[…]

I have only had this bag for a week and only carried it once because I have been on the hunt for the 2008/09 versions. I can't comment on the durability but the bag does look like it is made well and should last a long time.

I bought this bag straight from Peg Perego in a red color. After 3 months of use, there is a lot of tear, the black PVC line is peeling and is looking broken and unattractive. I seldom use this bag but it looks really worn. It is also very small, does not fit all neccessities for a little baby...maybe a toddler who has already gone through toilet training, if you only need to use the bag for a little sweater and some snacks to pack then it might be the right one for you.

This is the most beautiful Diaper Bag. I did so much research before getting this one, and belive me you won't find anything similar. It's not cheap, but is sturdy and high quality. If you are looking for a NICE diaper bag that could be your purse for a long time, this diaper bag is for you. I was so worried to change my designer purses onces the baby is born, that I started to look for COACH and other nice brands. They were not as practical as this one. It has straps, so you can attach it to your stroller. The color is absolutely beautiful and goes with any outfit. Also, it has a pad that you can use to change your baby so no more putting your baby on dirty chaning stations.

Dakine 33-Litre Interval Wet/Dry Pack

Dakine 33-Litre Interval Wet/Dry PackFirst, I got to note that I was specifically looking for a bag to take outdoors, and that does not have a laptop compartment, or bunch of pen organizers (who uses pens, these days, right?). Turns out that the choice for that type of bag is very limited, all the packs these days are oriented towards laptop-carrying folks. I already have a bag that I use for that, so my goal was to get something that's durable and comfortable, and can be taken to the beach, hike, or a bike ride. Dakine bags are all very well made, and this one is no exception. Stitching is nice, and materials are great. This bag is great all around, I can fit a couple of beach towels, some drinks and snacks, my sunglasses, and some light surf gear and head to the beach. The wetsuit pocket isn't big enough to fit a full-sized wetsuit, but great for bringing back wet booties or board shorts without getting everything else wet. The front cooler pocket holds a lot more than seems at first, and is really handy. Straps are comfortable, and the sternum strap is good for using this when biking particularly to prevent straps from sliding back.

High Sierra AT607 Carry On Travel Bag with Backpack Straps

High Sierra AT6 Overnight Backpack BlackConvertible backpack September 2012: This backpack hides its straps so it can be airline-checked. It is sized to meet carry-on limits. It is in the same category as a Rick Steve's weekend convertible, but it is a bit smaller. While it doesn't have all the hidy-holes as a RickSteves and inside dividers are delicate, it has a tougher outside fabric and will hold it shape when empty. I like it.

So far I have used it on one airline trip. I did not check it, but instead used overhead bins. It has two easy-to-grab strong handles (side and top) and comes with a removable shoulder strap. The backside has a thick pad for comfort that doubles as a loop to strap it on your rolling luggage handle. This turned out to be a handy feature.

The zippers with their tassels have held up fine so far, though I am reluctant to check the bag. This bag is a cross between luggage and a backpack. The hidden waist clips, shoulder straps, and back pad make it an acceptable backpack. The silver piping is also highly reflective for night safety. As luggage it has handles, shoulder strap, and a thick-tough outside fabric that holds it shape. A very good compromise overall.

Occasional airline traveler.

This was used over the past year as a carry-on when I had business trips all over the world on various airliners and I have never had a problem getting this backpack checked as a carry-on. The bag is compact and if you pack tight and well, you can fit a lot of stuff in it. I used to put a laptop on the top if I was under the weight limits and it was a simple flip over to get thru security without really having to remove the laptop out of the bag completely. It has a convenient shoulder strap which is great if you hate having a backpack on your shoulders. I was able to fit 3-5 days worth of clothing depending on what I had to pack in, and there's a generous sized pocket in the front that I fit toiletries in as well as odds and ends such as wires needed for work.

Now, for the bad parts, a few airlines allowed larger carry-on than this bag by a significant amount, which results in more checked bags if you travel heavy. Also, the straps in the main compartment tended to clump clothes together on rare occasions if you were trying to squeeze as much as possible out of the space.

All minor nuances, but for the price, and the size, it can't be beat. It's rare to find a bag that is small enough to be allowed on multiple airlines as a carry-on and this bag is also near the dimension limits for more than half the airlines I traveled on which was very convenient and allowed the most use of the carry on allowed. Add in the bag's light weight and it's almost a perfect carry-on bag.

Took this backpack on a recent trip overseas and it was perfect. Used it to carry passport, clothes, snacks, iPad, everything. Plenty of space and compartments, and the variety of straps and handles made it very useful and convenient in every situation.

This is the perfect size for a carry on with the optional back pack straps. Only detail I question is the kind of flimsy clip connection for the straps.

Osprey Men's Aether 70 Backpack

Osprey Men's Aether 70 Backpack, Arroyo Red, MediumI used the backpack on a 50 mile hike on the Appalachian trail in North Carolina in April 2013. I carried about 30 pounds and the pack made it seem like 5. The load transfer to the hips was accurate and comfortable. The shoulder strap pads and back of the pack NEVER got wet with sweat (I still find that amazing) and the adjustable shoulder, hip, chest and load straps allowed me to refine the fit so that nothing hurt. The removable top was used as a pillow which was useful. I never used it as the daypack hipbelt that it was meant for, but under different circumstances I could see how it would be useful. The multitude of compression straps kept the load tight which allowed me to keep a good centre of gravity and hence a good balance throughout the hike. The bag material is tough although not waterproof. I kept the sleeping bag in the bottom compartment where it was meant to be, but inside a waterproof bag which gave me piece of mind. I bought a raincover at Walmart for about $5 which fit fine and kept it dry in the rain. 70 litres was more than sufficient for the 4 day hike carrying the sleeping bag, mattress, tent, food, clothes, cooking set, first aid kit and miscellaneous items. The exterior water bladder sleeve was handy and perfect for the Osprey 3 liter bladder that I purchased separately. All in all, a good product that enhanced my hiking experience.

Derek Alexander Small Backpack Sling

Derek Alexander Leather Small Backpack Sling - BlackI love everything about this bag. First, the softer, textured leather is great. I had a shiny, non-textured leather bag before this and it showed every mark and scuff. I try to be careful, but sometimes a doggie paw lands on it. It's quite forgiving. It's fairly compact in size but holds a lot. And I have a very big wallet that takes up the whole back compartment along with my reading glasses, in a hard case. There are enough pockets and dividers in it for me to keep things organized. The zippers are easy to manipulate, even if my hands are really full, and they definitely stay put. Overall, it is very well-designed and constructed. The best little backpack bag I have ever owned.

K-Cliffs Rolling Clear Transparent Multi-pockets Backpack with Color Trim

K-Cliffs Black Color Trim Rolling Clear Transparent Multi-pockets BackpackMy daughters Private School required the children have clear or mesh backpack in Kindergarten. I was worried this backpack would be too large but it fit her perfectly. It rolls like a suit case and has straps to wear as a backpack. She loves it! It also forces her to keep it clean cause you can see any garbage from the outside. It also makes things easier to find. I used Rhinestones to personalize hers in front with her name.

I had purchaced this clear bag on wheels because clear bags were required by my employer. We have alot of work equipment that we have to bring back and forth to work. The construction of this bag is very flimsy. It also does NOT stand up straight, the legs of it are uneven. It constantly tips over if it is standing upright. The handle on it is extremely short too. I am a woman that is only 5 feet 1 inch tall and the handle barely reaches my hand when fully extended. That is ridiculous to me because I am short, I can't imagine a tall person would be able to use this bag. I end up dragging it behind me and constantly have stop to keep it from rolling unbalanced while walking. I had purchased another slightly larger bag on wheels through Amazon before this one. I thought that one was too much money, but now that I have purchaced this cheaper bag I can see why the other bag was more expensive. It never had these issues with tipping over and the other handle was way tall enough for my height. I am really sorry I purchaced this cheaper bag. :-(

I bought this for my 3rd grade daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Her backpack got alot heavier in 3rd grade. I weighed it one day and it was 18 lbs. Who can expect a 3rd grade girl to carry that on her back everyday? With books, lunch box, notebooks, planner, it adds up. Our school system also recommends that you have a clear or mesh backpack. I haven't found a clear rolling backpack in the stores around our area. So I was excited to find this one on Amazon. This is such a tremendous help. It rolls smoothly, is of good quality and was at a great price, no more than one without wheels. It also has the backpack straps on the back so you can still carry it if you want to, but I don't know why you would want to.
