I'm a computer tech and this bag holds everything I need to make a service call. Comfortable to wear and stays securely on one shoulder. The cell phone pocket seemed small, but holds an iPhone 4 very well. Any phone larger may not work. The sunglasses pocket is large enough to hold a hard sided glasses case, making the bottom location a non-issue. Get it while you can!

I already own an Ogio Hip Hop bag in brown. I have had it for over two years and have put it through some harsh treatment and it is still together, looking good, and has always protected my laptop and gear. I mostly use this for transporting tech (laptop, iPad, phone, cables, etc) and minor items to and from work, and it does the job very well. I recently brought it with me on a flight, and it just barely stuck out from under the seat when laid flat nothing that'll get in the way if you're cognizant of where it is.

Likes:

*Construction seems very durable.

*Compartments not too many, not to few.

Dislikes:

*Strap Sewn to the "D-rings" and not replaceable without cutting it. I'd much rather see a clip that rotates to avoid playing the "how do I untwist this strap" game.

*Phone compartment Too small to fit an iPhone 5, and I imagine most larger Android phones, too. But, honestly, I wouldn't use it anyway since my phone is always kept in my front pocket.

I have owned this about 5 months and I've been very happy with it. I only have one small complaint. The shoulder-strap is attached and cannot be removed. The strap itself is of good quality, but it bunchs up on one of the corners where it connects to the bag. It by no means effects the use of the bag, but it seems to be a simple design flaw that should should have been remedied. I have owned several Ogio products over the years and I continue to be satisfied with all of them.

I bought this bag for my daily gym trips. So far, it's held up great! I love Dakine and everything from them seems to last longer than any other brand. The separate side compartment is great for shampoo/conditioner/hair stuff for post-workout showers. I can fit shoes, two outfits and a towl in the main compartment. The color is unique and no one else has it. It is extremely durable and i have seen no show of wear. The arm strap is padded and non-slip, which is GREAT when I'm carrying a lot of stuff. All around, this is the best gym bag I've ever had. Could use more compartments, but that's a personal preference.

I just got my backpack yesterday(ahead of delivery date), and this backpack is ROOMY!!!! I can carry my paramedic bk(it's like 2 dictionary's in one), my workbk, and 2 other textbks for class along w/ my laptop and all of my other stuff for class that I carried in a different bag. Now I carry everything I need in ONE bag!!!!! Get this bag if u need a lot of room for bks and all u school stuff!!!!!

I've had this backpack since mid-August 2010 (so almost 11 months).

While it's decently roomy, and has plenty of pockets one of the shoulder straps is starting to separate where it's stitched to the top of the bag. The opening for a headphone cord to pass through from the "media pocket" wasn't even cut open on mine. And, the second pocket (below the media player pocket) is ripped, so anything you put in that pocket falls inside the bag.

Finally, the "phone pocket" is too small for most phones.

On the plus side, it has a decent amount of padding for a laptop.

Good idea, fair execution, terrible quality. It may hold up a bit better in a corporate environment, but definitely not in a school environment (where you're lugging textbooks around all day).

I shopped around for a backpack that would protect my laptop and be easy on the wallet. I believe I found it in this backpack. This backpack has lots of storage compartments, securely holds your laptop in place and had a good bit of padding to help keep your laptop safe. It has nice padded shoulder straps with pocket to hold your cell. It is very well made and comes with a 5 year limited warranty. I got it at a nice price however I did see it $10 cheaper a week or so before I made my purchase. The price I paid was still very reasonable compared to the prices I saw in local stores and other on line retailers. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a well constructed, well padded, well designed and reasonably priced backpack. The only negative I have with the backpack is the sewn on MICROSOFT logo on the back. I removed the one on my backpack. I didn't want to advertise to any thieves the fact that my backpack had a laptop inside instead of maybe just books and junk. I know if someone is going to steal a backpack on the chance it has a computer inside I sure didn't want to give them a heads up to grab mine first. Don't know if that would make any difference but by removing the "HERE TAKE ME" label on the back was my attempt to keep my belongs safe.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter's third birthday. She loves it! It has very vibrant colors. Pictures don't do it justice. When I opened the shipping box it came in, and saw the product, I thought it looked even nicer than it did online. It is a great size for a child at that age. It's not too big, but yet, it's still big enough to get quite a bit of use out of it while your child is growing. The only complaint I would have, is that it seems like the straps are not well-sewn onto the back pack itself. Hers are still intact (she's had it for about 4 weeks), but from the amount of stitching, I wonder how long the stitching will hold against wear and tear. This could be fixed easily if you're handy at sewing though. Overall, I like it and she loves it. This isn't something you can normally find in stores. So it was nice to receive something online that looked even better in person than how it was displayed online. Sometimes, online products can be deceiving, but this one was more than expected.

I love Eagle Creek gear; I have about a dozen pack-it accessories & luggage and also give these as gifts. While they're pricey, they're worth every penny to keep you organised and keep packing to a minimum. I bought this one as a toiletry bag since it's relatively form-free (no pockets), inexpensive (compared to their other toiletry gear) and leak-proof. Most of Eagle Creek gear is washable (gentle setting, drip dry) and have lasted me for years (my oldest piece is 15 years old)!

I use mine as a bag to keep all of my electronic chargers and cables in. The first time I used it in my carry on bag, but it must of looked suspicious with all the wires because the TSA did a hand check of my bag. On the way home I packed it in my checked bag and had no problems, not that having extra screening is a problem it's just takes a little extra time. I mainly bought this to store my toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and invisalign case. Since I need to brush and floss after every meal, I needed something small enough to fit nicely into my purse, but also fit those items into it. This fir the bill. The toothbrush fits perfectly into it and it is not bulky that it takes up half of my purse. This would also be great for a quick getaway somewhere and you need to put some toiletries into your bag. It does look like it is a mesh bag, but it actually has a plastic behind the mesh which was perfect for what I needed it for. Overall, a good product with a great price!

Case Logic 16" Laptop Sleeve - Plaid

The case fits my 15.6in hp pavilion g6. There is about 1in space between my laptop and the zipper opening when i put my laptop in. It does not bother me that much but some might not like the fact that the laptop moves because of the space.

pros: protects my laptop from scratches and kind of lessens the shock of bump force; fits my laptop okay, i like the design, its a bit rough but it gives you some kind of grip on it

cons: the cushion is not much so not for heavy protection mainly scratches and weak force bumps; there is a smell probably due to the neoprene but it slowly disappears( i have it for almost two weeks now)

i do recommend the product. there are different sellers so there might be different cases when it comes to the smell or maybe becuase the way it was packed, mine was wrapped in plastic and still had a tag attached to it.

Pretty nice and spongy. The zipper did not disappoint me. It was a little large height-wise for my computer and i didn't feel comfortable with that so i turned it inside out, sewed it smaller and now it's a really nice fit. A little inconvenient but I always have trouble buying carrying cases for such a wide-but-short screen.

I read the reviews on this product before purchasing it and decided to get it anyways because I have a fairly large laptop but when it arrived, I was shocked how large it actually was. Way to big and am returning it. Bummer because it is super cute but it doesn't do any good if my laptop is sliding around in it!

Dakine 33-Litre Interval Wet/Dry Pack

First, I got to note that I was specifically looking for a bag to take outdoors, and that does not have a laptop compartment, or bunch of pen organizers (who uses pens, these days, right?). Turns out that the choice for that type of bag is very limited, all the packs these days are oriented towards laptop-carrying folks. I already have a bag that I use for that, so my goal was to get something that's durable and comfortable, and can be taken to the beach, hike, or a bike ride. Dakine bags are all very well made, and this one is no exception. Stitching is nice, and materials are great. This bag is great all around, I can fit a couple of beach towels, some drinks and snacks, my sunglasses, and some light surf gear and head to the beach. The wetsuit pocket isn't big enough to fit a full-sized wetsuit, but great for bringing back wet booties or board shorts without getting everything else wet. The front cooler pocket holds a lot more than seems at first, and is really handy. Straps are comfortable, and the sternum strap is good for using this when biking particularly to prevent straps from sliding back.

Fits my 15'' Macbook Pro exactly. Not too bulky, but enough padding that I feel good about having it next to other stuff in my bag. Using this with a 2012 Macbook Pro Retina 15" the long dimension fits very well. Lots of extra room on the short edge, I guess for laptops with a taller screen. With that extra space, I'm able to fit the laptop in the padded internal sleeve, as well as an iPad in its own padded case sitting on top. I like the double zip seals, very confidence-inspiring and there's a clear tactile feel and sound as they zip all the way closed. The velcro flap seal might only slow down a drenching a tiny bit, but it could help protect the zips from accidentally unzipping. I like that the interior padded sleeve is removable, as it's often unnecessary (for instance, with a bag that already has a padded sleeve). Without the padding, the waterproof sleeve is quite minimal in bulk. Mine weighed in at 5oz for the outer sleeve alone, 2oz for the padding. The color is a little more muted than in the photos here. I'd like to see some natural earth tones as well, just as an aside.

Like others, I use this for bike commuting. I strap it with bungies over the top of my Old Man Mountain Cold Spring front rack, as my panniers are a bit small for the laptop. The A-Q case fits my 12.5" thinkpad x220 perfectly. I have the TP in a case logic neoprene case (the sleeve accompanying the A-Q is mediocre and I don't use it, but that didn't downgrade my five-star review because I didn't buy this for the sleeve) and the whole thing then fits perfectly. Not too snugly, but not loose. Very good seal at top, kind of like an industrial strength zip-loc. The carrying strap is handy. Very good piece of gear.

Red Rock Outdoor Gear Rambler Sling Pack, Coyote

I have used this bag heavily for the past 6 months for hunting squirrels, wild hogs and deer. The single sling is useful because it leaves my right shoulder free for shooting. I carry my rifle on my right shoulder so it balances with the sling on my left shoulder. I live in Louisiana where it's cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon during hunting season, so the original intended use for the bag was to carry the coat and insulated clothes that I take off in the course of the day. It works well for this and I was surprised to find that it has a compression strap on the back that will hold a bulky rolled up coat outside the bag. This leaves room inside for more odds and ends, game, etc. It is covered with Molle straps and you can attach anything anywhere. I put a tactical glasses case on mine so I can get at my safety glasses for going through brush in the dark. The strap is also covered with Molle straps which I use to carry a flashlight and a GPS. My bag has been through the wringer. I carry fairly heavy loads through thick brush and use it as a backrest against trees. It is well made and shows no sign of wear or even staining. It still looks new. It has more straps, clips and pockets than I know what to do with, making it extremely versatile. The compartments are designed to be easily accessed by swinging it in front instead of having to take it off. It has a separate strap that will hold it on your back when running but I don't need that. It is an unbelievably good product for its price.

I own this pack and the smaller one that they offer, both are well made. The only weak point would be the liners that divide the inner pockets as they are made out of thin material. My inner dividers have worn through after about 1yr of solid everyday use. Now the outer material is very thick and well made. There is no velcro for CC as some of the pictures suggest but thats an easy fix.

Im a commercial/industrial electrician and have gone through countless bags and pouches so I know what to look for in a pack. These are well made where it counts. People have bought into this whole over priced Maxpedition thing but guess what its made in Taiwan. Why spend money on a name when you can get the same bag at 1/3 the cost?

There is ample storage, tons of useful compartments, hydration bladder holder and even a water bottle pocket. Red Rock designed the pockets for easy access when you swing the bag forward onto your chest. The molle webbing allows endless customization. There was a great deal of thought given to this bag and it shows.

I am used to right shoulder sling bags so I thought a lefty would feel strange but it doesn't. The bag feels balanced when loaded and it is very comfortable to wear. The oversize sling itself also adds a carabiner, molle webbing for accessories, and a very useful secondary stabilizer strap when you are running around the woods.

Sony VAIO VGP-AMC7 Neoprene Case for FW series (Black)

The FW laptop (which has a more rectangular shape than most other laptops because of its 16:9 screen format) fits perfectly in this dedicated sleeve-like holster, and the separate case for the power supply is also very handy (it is big enough to accommodate a small phone charger besides the laptop charger).

Just be advised that this kind of case, because of its thin neoprene construction, does not offer the same degree of protection of a regular laptop bag: it is fine to prevent scratches but will not be as effective against drops or crushing.

UPDATE: I recommend putting a sheet of protective material between the screen and the keyboard part of your laptop when traveling (the foamy sheet that comes with the original Vaio packaging is ideal). My FW has scratches on the shiny silvery plastic of the screen frame halfway between the web-cam and the edge of the lid because that part can touch the main body of the laptop when the lid is closed. Not this neoprene case's fault but rather a design flaw of the wide-screen FW: the tiny rubber bumpers on both corners of the lid and around the web-cam are not thick enough to prevent friction between the lid and the keyboard.

Fits nicely, holds the power supply in own bag. Works great to then insert your protected laptop into a back back (primary reason purchased this). Since made by Sony fits the laptop exactly.

It fits the 16.4-inch FW series like my title suggests, like a fine glove fits a nimble hand, but nothing else (like my Acer 15.4-inch notebook) works with this svelte contraption. We use it constantly, wrapping our VGN-FW373-J/H notebook in it whenever we travel with it, or whenever I can wrestle it away from my wife, which is practically never! If I had one wish this year it would have been this: please, oh Lord above, grant me the gift of two of these notebooks because my wife and I are constantly sparring over who gets the Sony.

But back to the cover story here, and that's exactly what it is...the story of how to cover your Sony notebook for travel, and this is the way to go, even if you have a regular Targus tote for it. You don't want to get those fine scratches on the outside of the notebook, and this is the best medicine to stop them before they can ever start! For a paltry $20 or so nobody who owns an FW-series Sony notebook should be without one of the covers, there's just no excuse for *not* having it in your stash of notebook helpers.

I especially like the small pouch for the small things: a BlueTooth mouse, SD Card holder, drawing tablet, pens and pencils, note pads, that sort of thing...the pouch takes up the slack there where you'd normally have nothing but the inside of the big package to store them all. This way, when using the pouch, things are right at hand ready for use.

The neoprene case is just the right thickness, too, not too thin or too thick, Sony got it right on the $$ with respect to this critical aspect of the fit of this item...too thin, and it doesn't provide any protection, and too thick, and it would be bulky and get in the way of its intended purpose. There's no garish "Sony Style" or other emblem on this case either, it just has a cute little "VAIO" logo in the center of the front, and that's all she wrote. Sony doesn't try and tell you what you're buying over and over again, so that's nice!

Anything that covers a computer as elegant as a Sony notebook like this case does has to have an identity, but Sony doesn't give it so much that you feel like you're carrying an advertising campaign all over again...it's simple, it's black, it's nice!

There's just the one color, black, black on black, so no issues with choosing the right one for your particular notebook's appearance this time. I can't think of a single reason to not have one of these cases--as long as you own the notebook might as well get in style with the case too!

This is for the family. My three year old uses it when we go to the beach or for her stuffed animals. I used it when I went to a rave (it's like a techno concert). There is a big difference in height and weight but it has been durable with both our uses. The strings stretch in and out for both of us making it versatile. I may have to buy another for me! It held up in 3 washes which is amazing for the color and fabric. I only air dried though. For this price, it's a steal.

Eddie Bauer Unisex-Adult Sling Pack

I didn't feel like carrying around a purse, but didn't want to look like a student/hitchhiker/drifter with a standard backpack, so I got this guy. I find it's the perfect size to carry around the contents of a giant purse, but it's probably too small if you're looking for something camping-backpack sized. I came back to edit, because I originally posted that the strap was on the wrong side if you wanted to access the pack while still wearing it, but you can buckle the strap into the other side so I rescind my criticism.

I purchased this on the Eddie Bauer online website. I picked the Cyan Blue color (love it!) and I've received it today. My current sling bag is falling appart, so I needed to replace it and did not want to return to classic purse. The size is NOT too small for this bag type, it's even slightly greater than my current sling bag. It is clearly written that capacity is 671 cubic inches/10.99 liters, 2 liters capacity corresponds to an hydratation backpack (to store water only). If you want bigger than that, go for a classic backpack.

If you are worried about the dimensions, go to the Eddie Bauer site, a picture shows a woman that wears the sling bag. So you can have an idea of the size.

My fiancée got this for our trip to Haiti to carry her purse type items (wallet and camera, etc).

Unfortunately, it didn't really work out. With any weight in it, it caused her shoulders to cramp.

In addition, in a hot weather environment, it caused a rash on her back.

This may be ok for casual usage but is not something I would recommend for traveling.

My daughter loves her backpack. It's good quality although the lunch bag lining and Velcro has ripped and falling apart after 1 1/2 months of use. I wish the largest compartment of the backpack was bigger. Her binder is difficult to get in and out and you have to be very systematic about putting it in first then squeezing the lunch bag in too. I wish I would've gotten the size larger.

Colors are bright and beautiful. Lights in wheels will be loved by kids. Has many convenient compartments. Thats all the positive.

The bag came falling apart at the handles. The handle also looked burnt. I would have returned it, but where I live that would be too expensive to do so my toddler has been taking to school. Within a day or two thread was unraveling at the sides. It's been a month now. I am very disappointed. Will just continue to use until it falls completely apart. Sucks
