its a great case protects against water but the strapes to carry it are on the inside so if you want ot carry it you have to leave the top open and i havent tried it because in scared to drop my laptop like that but i carry mine in my bookbag and i keep the strapes inside anyways but if you want to carry by the handles dont get this bag.
I absolutely love this bag! I stay over my boyfriend's house 3-4 times a week and I needed one bigger bag instead of 3 little ones. This bag fits the bill perfectly; it is so roomy, I can fit about 2-3 outfits as well as toiletries and my laptop. It also has 2 handy mesh inserts on either side that I can store 4 bottles of water or other drinks in. It looks exactly as described; the material is waterproof. The shipping only took a few days and the product was in perfect condition. I highly recommend!
Love this product it lasted a long time! Even with the wear and tear of kids dragging it around and trowing it wherever they want, it still cleaned up nicely and got another school years use out of it.

Dakine makes good stuff. They have a lifetime warranty, too, so they stand behind their product. I got this for school and every day life, mainly due to the laptop compartment AND tablet pocket. It looks pretty slick, too. Only thing i don't like is the organizer panel. They used to be a lot better. It's a good-sized area, but they mash everything together, and the pen slots are short. I like something substantial, as weird as that might sound. It also makes it bulky with the way they layered the pen slots in front of the second fleece-lined pocket. There's enough room where they can space things out, so I wish they would. They also don't fleece-line the side zipper pocket. That used to be a nice electronics pocket, but not really anymore. Otherwise, it's a good bag: sturdy, spacious, stylish. Not too shabby.

Bag is used as my everyday bag, it has a lot of pockets and does a great job holding all my stuff. It does feel a little on the cheap side as far as material and stiching. I have a small tear by one of the zippers, but this bag can take a beating. Overall I am pleased.
I've been using this pack several times a week now for a couple of years, and it works great and is holding up well. I got it as a replacement for a simple MEC day pack which I used happily for 20 years, and although this one is a bit larger it also feels about a third lighter when fully loaded! I love the simplicity of the design and the suspension system is great (rigid back panel helps a lot and is very comfy with an odd or bulky load).

We bought this for our son to start Kindergarten as it was one of the only backpacks we could find that had trains on it that wasn't Thomas. It is an adorable print and my son loves it. The only thing you can't really gather from the pictures is that it is a little small. It is definitely bigger than a toddler backpack, but it's not quite a full-size backpack.

I bought this bag to take on our Caribbean cruise a couple of weeks ago. It did the job reasonably well. Everything seems to be constructed well, the seams did not seem like they were going to break when I stuffed it completely full, and I appreciated the number of pockets it had. There is only one negative in that the main compartment was not as large as I thought it would be. In the main compartment, I was able to fit two large beach towels, pair of flip flops, and a bottle of sunscreen. If only it were a bit bigger, or made of a stretchier material, it would be perfect.

So far so good. It arrived fast, it looks great (I have the blue one) with plenty of pockets. I think the one on the strap was a nice touch. No complaints.
I travel frequently for work and, like many work travelers, own a black rolling Samsonite suitcase. I bought these handles after seeing them on many alumnis' bags at an away game, and have found them to be exactly what I was looking for. My bag is now easy to identify when coming onto the baggage claim reel and also give me added grip when lifting my bag into an overhead bin.
I have used this bag heavily for the past 6 months for hunting squirrels, wild hogs and deer. The single sling is useful because it leaves my right shoulder free for shooting. I carry my rifle on my right shoulder so it balances with the sling on my left shoulder. I live in Louisiana where it's cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon during hunting season, so the original intended use for the bag was to carry the coat and insulated clothes that I take off in the course of the day. It works well for this and I was surprised to find that it has a compression strap on the back that will hold a bulky rolled up coat outside the bag. This leaves room inside for more odds and ends, game, etc. It is covered with Molle straps and you can attach anything anywhere. I put a tactical glasses case on mine so I can get at my safety glasses for going through brush in the dark. The strap is also covered with Molle straps which I use to carry a flashlight and a GPS. My bag has been through the wringer. I carry fairly heavy loads through thick brush and use it as a backrest against trees. It is well made and shows no sign of wear or even staining. It still looks new. It has more straps, clips and pockets than I know what to do with, making it extremely versatile. The compartments are designed to be easily accessed by swinging it in front instead of having to take it off. It has a separate strap that will hold it on your back when running but I don't need that. It is an unbelievably good product for its price.

I used this for a five day conference and used it to haul around my ipad and other stuff including a 32oz water bottle. It worked great. I also just tucked the small side strap into a hole in the water bladder compartment.
This backpack has gone everywhere with me. It is big enough for a festival, blankets, food and canteens or small & light enough to carry daily provisions to work. Very versatile.

This is a great backpack if you just have a few things to carry each day. My son uses it for school. It is not bulky and the outside zipper pocket keeps things like wallet, keys, ID.
This was hand's down the best bag I've ever owned. I bought this for my kindergartner. Although she is rather small in stature, and the backpack looks large on her, the straps alter a lot making it a good fit for her. I bought it to replace her previous smaller backpack. This new one is ideal and comfortably fits homework folder, library books, jacket and lunch box, etc. (all the things which young children tend to leave lying around, now she has no excuse since they all fit in readily). The additional smaller pockets are perfect for her to keep 'little treasures' safe. An all round excellent buy at a very reasonable price. I had looked at many other backpacks before purchasing this one, and feel that I definitely made the best choice for a younger child.

The backpack came in quickly and is as cute as a button. I got it in purple and the material on the outside of the backpack feels pretty soft on the shiny purple parts. The 'American Princess' logo and heart design behind it are very prominent and it even has a cute little heart shaped zipper attachment on the outer pouch. Personally I am just using it for a few light pocket folders, notebooks and a text book for school. The small zippered pocket near the top is great for my sunglasses and the outer pouch is decked out on the inside with a holder for your cell-phone, pens, pencils, a calculator and etc. The inside also includes a space for a few pens along the outer wall and a place to store a CD or CD case. This is probably the biggest backpack I've ever owned and looks like it would work as a great overnight backpack as well. My only worries are how the shiny purple fabric would do in the rain and how I would clean it if it ever became dirty. I am a graduate student, so I use this bag to tote my school materials back and forth to campus. It is on the small side, but luckily I have an office at school so I don't have to lug textbooks back and forth. The straps are comfortable on my shoulders, which is a plus because I walk about a mile each way to campus every day. The low profile is great for travel or when I'm biking. The handle is also very solid, though I hardly ever pick it up by that. The dual water bottle holders are a plus, though mine have become key holders at this point. The downside is that there is not a lot of room for writing utensils inside the small flap, but I just hook my pens onto the open pocket on the front and that seems to work very well. Overall, it's a solid bag with a great look that I plan to use until it either falls apart or needs to be replaced with something roomier.
