I bought this for my 18 month old son who loves Elmo. It is small enough for him to wear (he is just in 2T sizes) and he is thrilled to have a backpack like the bigger boys. It is roomy although we do not put much in it. It seems sturdy. Great purchase. It's a joy to see how happy he is when he gets to wear it.
