This is not a full size back pack. Bought it for school use only to find out it will just be used for toys. Had to get different one.

My son loved that this was a pokemon backback, and liked the picture, but it didn't last even halfway through the school year. First, the front plastic picture ripped, so I had to tape that together. Then the zipper stopped working and broke off. I'm pretty bummed about the pack. It probably still wouldn't have held up if an adult was using it.

Viper hardcase 11, graphite

Just got this for my Samsung Chromebook and it works perfectly. Computer fits in snugly with room for a couple flat cables or documents and not much more. The chromebook's adapter will not fit in. Also there is no handle or strap if you are curious.

I travel a lot and now I feel more comfortable with my chromebook inside my carry-on than I would have with just a sleeve. Sides are strong and sturdy. This is just what I was looking for to protect my Chromebook.

This is an excellent case if your're looking for a high quality hardcase for you're Samsung Chromebook. Even has room for my Nexus 7! Highly recommended!

Ladies' Leather Mini Backpack (#1820-02)

After 9 years of a diaper bag backpack, it was finally time to look for something a little less babyish. During those 9 years of diapers, I grew to love backpacks as an alternative to purses. With kids, often times my hands are full or I'm trying to hold one of their hands and it's so very annoying when your purse keeps slipping down your arm. With a backpack, life is much easier.

I wanted one that would be attractive, not too big since I'm a light traveler but bigger than the mini-packs, sturdy because I absolutely hate picking out purses/bags (took me 4 weeks to make a final decision on this one), and simple. I don't need a lot of pockets and zippers.

My main concern with this bag was the comment about it not being particularly feminine and not exactly durable. Since everything else about this bag looked good, and all other comments positive, I decided to buy it. I went with black and so far, I'm very happy with it. It's very attractive and sturdy. The straps are much thinner than the picture indicates. The main storage area is just right. Inside this area is a spot for your cell phone to slide into which is nice, but could stand to be a little bigger. Since my phone is in a cover it's a pretty tight squeeze to get it to fit. The front zipper compartment is a nice size for wallets or glasses. There's a `hidden' zipper at the back of the bag you can use to access the main compartment. An interesting feature, but I haven't seen a real good purpose for it yet. Anyway, overall I'm very pleased with it. If the snap falls off next week, though, you can bet I'll be back to update this review with a much different rating :-)

but not as it turned out what we were looking for. Felts that the straps were too narrow to provide comfort for toting around all day by a person with back problems.

Woodland Camouflage Canvas Day Pack

I got it mostly because it's almost all natural materials cotton. There are a couple of plastic zippers and some plastic buckles, but that's all.

It's capacious, but since it's just cloth, it collapses into a small space if it's not full.

It's simply made, that's nice because if some little thing breaks you might be able to fix it easily with a sewing machine. No liner, two pockets. And it's washable.

I love it, and love the camouflage pattern too.

One disadvantage, it's completely un-waterproof.

KAVU Flattop Backpack

This is my all time go to backpack for travel, school, etc. It has ample space for a laptop, and anything else you drag around. Quality is great, and the seams are well stitched. I think this will work for many years to come, Highly recommend. I am about 5'6" and with the straps nearly tightened all the way it fits great. So, i would think this bag would also fit a larger woman or man.

I am amazed at how many compartments there are. There's a big laptop compartment with a little velcro strap over the top to keep your computer strapped in. There's plenty of room to throw anything you want to in there. The straps are nice and it doesn't hurt your shoulders when you're carrying a big load. This is a perfect backpack for hiking/camping/schoolit really has many different uses.

Funny thing is, the tag on the backpack says $70 MSRP and you can buy it for $25 on Amazon! DO IT.

I bought this bag a couple of months ago to replace my current schoolbag. It is extremely well built and has numerous handy pockets and compartments. My bag currently, after daily use, has no wear/tear and I expect it to last many years. Not only can it handle the things that I need to carry daily, but it could also handle outdoor use. The straps are probably my favorite part of this bag, they are nicely padded and make the bag extremely comfortable no matter how much stuff you pack into it. Design Go Small Lightweight Folding Travel Backpack - Black

I have purchased several of the earlier variants of this super little lightweight travel backpack over the years. But I could only find it in the pre-security departure area at London's Heathrow terminals 3 and 4. My doctor once admired mine, so next time I went to London I brought one back for him in the US. Other have also admired it for its lightness.

I tried to find a source in the US, to no avail. Now you can get one for yourself. This version is a little less lightweight (they provide padded straps instead of the previous unpadded ones), but still much lighter and compact than anything else you can find. It's great as an emergency pack that you can put in your suitcase and is quite adequate for a bottle of water and a couple of guidebooks. It's reasonably water-resistant, but don't expect great durability.

Ogio Hamptons Women's Tote

I really want to like this tote. It is absolutely perfect EXCEPT for the fact that it doesn't actually fit a 15" laptop. I have the newest macbook pro and with the way the tote is structured to taper at the bottom, there isn't a way to get it into the sleeve horizontally. If you put the computer in vertically, about 4 inches stick out above the padding, making it pretty unusable protection-wise.

This would be a good tote for a 13" laptop or smaller.

I searched for months for the "perfect" bag to carry my stuff in (could be my laptop and/or tablet and journals and Kindle and.....). I haul around a lot of books (I'm not an e-book person) as well as a small lap top, and I take my kids all around New York City, so traveling with a compact, super-small back pack is a must in order to stay mobile and limber. This compact pack is the best I've ever found. It's incredibly economical and ergonomic in terms of space but it is also surprisingly roomy. The secret to the design is: 1) A total absence of superfluous pockets -most of which you never need anyway, and won't likely miss. There is just one main pocket and one small front pocket (with a nice clip to which I attach a flash drive). 2) The bag has no padding whatever. This is fine if you're just hauling around lunch or a spare jacket. But if you carry a laptop or tablet you will need to place it in a case or sleeve of your own -and it will have to be a really sleek, form-fitting case or you'll end up consuming all the room in the main pocket. I have an 11-inch Mac Airbook which I place in a snug sleeve and it fits beautifully in this bag. Amazingly, I can also load in books, a power adapter, and some other sundries with no problem at all. But beware: the absence of padding also means that this bag is not very water proof in the rain. For safety I carry a little plastic bag inside just in case I need to wrap items to protect them in the rain (and it takes up no space at all). Lest any of this sound like a hassle, it's not. It's just what you need to do if you want a really small, tidy bag in which you can lug all your stuff. This one is the best I've found.

My wife and I have been using our Bullet pack for probably 10 years now, almost every week. It is one of our favorite pieces of gear.

We use it multi-pitch climbing, as a secondary backpack when hiking, as a carrier for jackets and snacks when walking in town, as a ski pack, and to contain our essentials in the car on a road trip. It is narrow and well shaped so it does not get in the way of arm movements.

This is a no non-sense pack, and I love it for that: no zillions of side pockets, ipod stach, pen holder, cheap compass, etc.; just the essentials.

Light weight, no-frills and reasonable durability: this pack will carry a water bottle, a light wind/waterproof, a bar, and your (light) descent shoes. It also doubles as a minimalistic dayhike pack. It is very stable on the back, with minimal waist and shoulder straps, and could be clipped below you easily for squeezes. Many packs for this purpose are too complicated and heavy. My only tiny criticism is that the outer pocket zipper (key pocket?) should open upwards so that it won't open if dragged against rock. Excellent value.

I backpack 60+ nights per year. I loop a day pack over my main backpack so I can separate it for wandering away from base camp. This one is lightweight, well made and simple. I needed a carry on bag to use for business trips, but didn't want to spend a ton of money. I found this and it looked stylish enough and the cost was perfect. I've used it twice now and it stows in the overheads perfectly and holds enough for a 3-4 day trip for me.

Piranha Gear Uniform Bag / Backpack

I recently received this as a present after my old gear bag broke. This bag isn't for all your sparring gear (you should get a mesh one for that any way) but rather for all the other gear one carries. I use it to keep multiple gis in and wraps, braces... . There are two long pockets on the side which I find helpful and I keep belts in one and ankle braces and stuff in the other. The middle pocket is large enough for 2 gis and a change of clothes with plenty of room to spare. There is a mesh zippered pocket in the back of the middle section plus an open pocket behing it. I have always used a backpack for my gear bag but have found I like the single strap. The backpack straps stow away nicely for use later.

There are better gear bags on the market but not in this price range. This bag is the nicest in this price range and frankly you would have to spend 4x the amount to find something as nice.

Hopefully they will do an mesh type bag for sparring gear.

ON A IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SWEATY GIS IN YOUR BAG. yuck.

I don't understand why but the clothing of the front compartment is different and of lower quality than the other parts of the backpack. But this is only a visual issue and overall it is quite useful and I have been wearing it everyday since its arrival. The straps are padded and large which makes it quite comfortable.

I just wanted an inexpensive backpack to carry my tablet and other stuff to the gym. I watch video on the tablet while on the treadmill then put it in the locker while working out. I just wanted something to carry all of my stuff in just to make life easier. The backpack works great for this.
