you can't beat the price. The backpack got me through four years of college and hunting almost every weekend. Its got a .3008 logo on it, matching the brand I like to shoot with. The bag is very durable. My only negative is the cammo pattern. It seems UN-natural but gets the point across. If you want a cheap bag for your truck, you can't beat this one.

I really liked the size of the bag, but the first time I used it, the zipper pull fell off the zipper, and when I tried to fix it, it broke in half...I can't believe it wasn't made of metal. I thought, no big deal, the bag has 2 zipper pulls. Unfortunately, the next time I used the bag, the other pull broke! :(

I had been using this pack for less than a week, and the stitching attaching the shoulder straps to the pack was coming apart on one side! I commute by bike and use my pack every day, so I needed it repaired ASAP; I hadn't put any real weight in the bag yet, so it wasn't a problem of wear or strain, simply poor manufacturing, unfortunately.

But! I contacted customer service about it, and they were amazing! They took care of the problem promptly and considerately (and generously, offering me a rain jacket for my trouble!).

Now that I've been using it for a few weeks, I really enjoy the design and ease of the pack. The reflective striping is great for biking, and the smaller outside pocket is perfect for my lock/cables.

So I live on a sailboat & I got this as a daily carry bag for a jacket, lunch, laptop which I could comfortably put in the dinghy and know my laptop wouldn't get soaked by sea spray or any standing wateryes it does that. Plus I like the zippered top pocket and vented back-pocket (both are rare on roll-top bags).

However, the backpack straps are pitiful. Both have broken on mine, and I've repaired them by sewing with heavy gauge thread, stapling, and shrink-wrap to sealthat works better than new, but I think I'm going to return it.

UPDATE: after I placed this review criticizing the straps, a representative of the company contacted me in the most friendly and helpful way, explained that he was aware of some manufacturing problems related to the straps that were being resolved, and asked how he could help resolve the problem. Despite being out of normal warranty, they provided me with a refund within a few hours without needing to retrieve and ship the bag!

Honestly, anyone developing products will hit bumpsgood products are those that are iteratively developed as flaws become apparent. Despite the problems I had with the straps, I'm confident that these are good bags, and customers should buy with confidence that they are not only getting a good product, but that it is backed up and supported by real people & not some anonymous entity. Ask yourself when was the last time a company called you and cheerfully asked how they could resolve a problem you had with your purchaseand then did it?!

I bought this bag on amazon about a month ago and so far it has been awesome. I spent a lot of time searching for a dry bag backpack that I could use on my bike ride to and from work everyday. I live in miami and rain can be a problem. I chose the 30L model as opposed to the 25L Biker model cause I want the extra 5 liters for when i use this for hiking and stuff. I have been rained on once pretty hard and it was bone dry on the inside, but the front zip pocket had some drops inside, but that could have been from when i opened it to look inside. The bag dried overnight. Also, my lunch box opened up and leaked salad dressing and tomato juice all over inside. I hosed the inside of the bag down, filled it half way with water and it held the water without any leaking.

The "slight" down side is when compared to other backpacks I have had, the straps feel a little less structurally sound. I have had the bag filled to the brim with clothes, computer, shoes etc and it was fine as I carried in on a 3hr plane ride, and walked for an hour around airports. But, I would be cautious filling this with super heavy items for long periods of time.

Overall, the bag is great for biking to work, 6 miles, with my laptop, rolled up pair of jeans, flip flops, towel, polo t-shirt, and shower bag. With these items, it is close to being at max capacity. I use it everyday. Plus, it is actually comfortable and fits well like a regular form fitting bagpack.

Bought this bag for something different. 5 days shouldn't require a frame bag (for me), and waterproof means everything. Very light too. I filled it to maybe 40Kg, barely able to shut the top snap. Buy a padlock or something to keep that together, you want to use it as a handle, but the snap wont hold. No-frame isn't for everyone, but for me it was fine for the first two days, then some of the stitching came out near the bottom strap, making it carry at an angle.

The side straps were strong enough for my tent and water, but I WISHED it had meshing pockets at the side bottom, to hold the water bottle. 5 Days with 40Kg two bus trips, 3 lakes, 5 coast beaches, caves, and the only time the waterproofing got tested was riding in the bus cargo hold in massive downpour. The bag was dripping brown water, all the contents including in the overstuffed top pouch, were bone dry.

It might have 3 more adventures left in it, with some dental-floss stitching. Anytime but summer you need more than 30Litre pack. I couldn't figure how to strap a bulky-but-light sleeping bag to it. This is made more for jet-skiing to some island.

Is it worth 70$ ? Heck yes. I am very happy with it's performance for the money spent.

Osprey Packs Kestrel 58 Backpack

I grew up out West (Utah) and spent much of my summers camping in the mountains using an external frame pack. Currently I live in South Florida. While camping in South Florida is entirely different than camping out West, I am a Scout master and there is no way I was going to let the boys get away without camping at least once every couple months.

Some of the more enthusiastic boys have outgrown car camping so I decided to take them for a weekend backpacking trip. Having left my dependable external frame pack back in Utah years ago, I went on a quest to find a new pack. I really loved my old external frame but decided to try a higher quality internal frame pack.

After a lot of looking I ended up vacillating between an Osprey Kestral, Osprey Atmos, and an Osprey Aether. Ultimately, I purchased the Kestrel 58. Since the weekend backpacking trip was the first time any of the boys had backpacked (our troop does own a handful of Teton 3400 packs), I took a bit more weight than I normally would have--35lbs. Over 2.5 days I did 18 miles through sand. I had absolutely no legitimate problems with the pack. In fact, the pack transferred the weight to my hips so effectively that I had no back discomfort or soreness during or after the trip.

I am not going to bother with what I liked about the pack; rather I am going to explain what I mean by "no legitimate problems with the pack."

* The hip belt pockets were small. This is a nit-picky complaint and since most packs do not even have hip belt pockets, this is not a legitimate complaint.

* I would have liked more pockets in the pack, but by design, internal frame packs have fewer pockets. So again, this is not really a legit complaint since the Kestrel had as many if not more pockets than most external frame packs I have looked at.

* HERE IS THE SEMI LEGIT COMPLAINT the tension straps would loosen up over time. I am not sure if this is a common problem with the pack or is something that may have been caused by the humidity. Regardless, it took mere seconds to adjust the tension while trekking along, and a simple alligator clip will solve the problem (which I am headed out to buy this weekend)

The Kestrel is a great pack, and one that I would recommend. Having grown up an avid hiker, my only regret was not deciding to buy one of the more expensive and advanced packs offered by Osprey--and let's be honest, the Kestrel is not exactly cheap. If I had to do it again, I would probably get the Aether, or maybe even spring for the extremely expensive Argon, which I never even originally considered because of the price.

Look, if you want a great pack and are not someone like me who spent his youth camping and hiking, buy the pack, you will be very very pleased. Heck, the only part of me that is not pleased with the purchase is the part of me that is planning a weeklong backpacking trip in the Grand Tetons in May/June 2013.

They said this bag was in perfect condition. And it is! And I got it for like what... $70 less than regular price! It's big enough for sure. I might even have too much spaceI'm back packing through Costa Rica. I guess I'll have room for souvenirs.

Universal Travel Adapter Plug Kit

I travel a fair bit but seem to often misplace my adapters, so this is maybe my fourth set in recent years.

These are nice and lightweight and will adapt your two-prong US outlets to the European/Asian round two pins, as well as the UK big ol' three prongs, and the Australian slanted prongs. The fourth piece seems to be to US two prongs and appears to work from European round prongs, but not Australian slanted prongs.

When I travel, I also carry the US three-prong to two-prong adapter for my computer. The way these are designed, a US three-prong will also fit into them, which possibly means you don't need the extra piece. That might be a safety hazard because it leaves the third prong exposed? I dunno. It might functionally be the same.

I was specifically looking for the US to European round prong adapter and don't often need the others, so I appreciate this set, which is affordable. It's also handy that it comes with a little bag to store things in.

Remember that these are adapters, but not power converters. Your computer likely handles dual current; my camera battery charger and phone charge do as well. And that's all I take when I travel... but check your own electronics for the current; you might need a converter and not just an adapter.

what these plugs lack is the 3rd hole (ground) for electrical equipment that mostly nowadays have the 3rd prong, otherwise, they are useful and lightweight adapters for simple 2-prong plugs

I found that this packet had everything I needed. It was fantastic and it comes with it's own cute little bag. You have to remember this is not a converter simply an adapter. If you have a hair dryer or something like that you need a converter. This suited my purpose charging a camera battery and a cell phone. I found this helpful and I am glad I purchased it.

The case fits my 15.6in hp pavilion g6. There is about 1in space between my laptop and the zipper opening when i put my laptop in. It does not bother me that much but some might not like the fact that the laptop moves because of the space.

pros: protects my laptop from scratches and kind of lessens the shock of bump force; fits my laptop okay, i like the design, its a bit rough but it gives you some kind of grip on it

cons: the cushion is not much so not for heavy protection mainly scratches and weak force bumps; there is a smell probably due to the neoprene but it slowly disappears( i have it for almost two weeks now)

i do recommend the product. there are different sellers so there might be different cases when it comes to the smell or maybe becuase the way it was packed, mine was wrapped in plastic and still had a tag attached to it.

Pretty nice and spongy. The zipper did not disappoint me. It was a little large height-wise for my computer and i didn't feel comfortable with that so i turned it inside out, sewed it smaller and now it's a really nice fit. A little inconvenient but I always have trouble buying carrying cases for such a wide-but-short screen.

I ordered this backpack specifically for a two week trip to Europe and upon arrival it was everything I wanted. A backpack small enough as a carry-on and large enough to fit necessary electronics and miscellaneous items. By this I mean lots of pockets, and this backpack has lots and lots of pockets. There's 16 pockets total, the main zip pocket has a padded sleeve for a laptop, small mp3 pouch, slip for a tablet/netbook, and extra space for misc. items. There's two side zip pocket, a sunglasses pocket, followed by three other zip pockets. The main bottom zip pocket has another zip pocket inside as well as six other pockets and a key chain hook. I was able to carry my laptop, kindle, camera, sunglasses, chargers, power adapters, usb cables, batteries, memory cards, etc. The backpack's shoulder strap was also thickly padded which didn't hurt my shoulders after extended use.

Unfortunately, there's one major flaw to the backpack and I had to find out the hard way. The extra sleeve to put your tablet/netbook (in my case my Kindle) in is Not Padded! I was carrying the backpack around in London for a week when I pulled out my kindle and found it to be broken. Apparently, sometime within the day I had put pressure to my backpack causing my kindle's screen to break, which I had no idea how it happened considering how I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I was completely shocked and disappointed and miserable half the time without my kindle. This shouldn't have happened at all considering how the rest of the backpack was well thought out. I can't even imagine how someone would feel if their Ipad/Transformers/Kindle Fire were to break like my Kindle. This is not to say that the sleeve won't work, you just need to be very very careful and mindful of the backpack. For this alone I give the backpack 3 stars, but if you're a very careful person or won't use the tablet/netbook sleeve at all, then this backpack is great!

First it is completely comfortable with adjustable shoulder straps and a stiff cushioned back for comfort. Pockets? There are pockets galore! There is one on each side, four in the front (one of which has seven internal pockets with one being zippered and one for your memory card). Think about small electronics, cards, wallets, glasses, etc. anything small you need immediately can fit in here.

The inside can easily fit a thick 16" laptop (even in its carrying case) along with two other deep pockets for other valuables. On top of all that, you can place your iPod/iPhone in a pocket at the inside top of the backpack and plug it into a readily supplied wire that exits out the right shoulder pack strap. That's right; you just plug your ear buds into the shoulder strap! The other shoulder strap has a stretchable strap for your eyeglass/sunglasses. There are air vents throughout for good circulation.

The entire pack is made of black polyester and the zippers are tough plastic that won't bind or catch. This is perfect for the campus, work or travel (it will easily fit in an overhead compartment or under your seat). The pack sits upright to insure no damage to anything inside and the feel is light and comfy. Targus made a great pack this time and the price is perfect!

I fit my hp spectre xt 15, my ipad, kindle, nook, iPod, note pad and pens, all necessary cords, earphones and whatnot with no problem having to search. It's all just right there. Pros: well-made, inexpensive, stylish, not too bulky, plenty of compartments.

Cons: Padding for laptop and any additional peripherals at bottom of bag is minimal.

I supplemented the padding issue by purchasing a padded laptop sleeve from Swiss as well as a padded camera bag insert from Camaroo for the bottom of the bag.

The bag supports my Lenovo y580 15.6", Razer Nostromo, Razer mouse, Gamecom headset, and various wires and cables.

This backpack is not too large and is a great weight. It has a good amount of pockets but I am disappointed in the 2 lower outside pockets as seen in the ad photo. The ad photo shows double zippers on each of the 2 lower outer pouches. After receiving and using the backpack I noticed that there is only one edge to edge zipper for the 2 lower external pouches. That's not a deal breaker for me but I am very disappointed because I expected to be able to zip the external pockets as shown in the ad. Instead the one zipper closes all the way down at the opposite end of the bag so you need to make sure that the zipper is well closed before proceeding off with this backpack.

Other than the problem I notice with the zippers in the ad vs. the zipper on the bag I am satisfied, but not overly impressed, with the bag itself or the 2 gimmick items it includes. It is much easier to carry around than the last backpack for my laptop. There are enough pockets for most anything. Inside the bag there is just one large opening instead of 2 separately enclosed large compartments like other backpacks its size but that is what also helps lighten the load. If you can settle with a backpack with one large open section with one padded separator then you should be fine with this backpack. The amount of pouches for this backpack is good but I think that the inside holder for your music player and the external plug for the headphones on the shoulder straps are more of a gimmick than practical because I can't see someone easily accessing their music player once they set it up and put the backpack on. It also appears that the sunglass holder on the backpack sling is also gimmicky because there's no way I'll put my expensive sunglasses in that holder for fear of them being knocked off while I walk or it being damaged when I remove the backpack or bump into something. I keep my shades in a case in the lower side zippered pocket instead and keep my music player clipped to my waist or in a front shirt pocket where I can reach it.

I feel this is a good backpack but nothing special or out of the ordinary and feel that the sunglass holder, music player holder and earphone jack are gimmicks to sell this pack but are not really practical to use, although there are some people who may find these gimmicks handy. I also wish it had double zippers for every opening like most other backpacks. There is only one double zipper and that's for the largest opening for the bag. As others have noted it can use much more padding or at least a solid bottom to the backpack.

Dr Who Call Box School Bag Rucksack Backpack

My son is really, really into Doctor Who. He was thrilled to be able to get an 11th Doctor backpack for school this year. Unfortunately, this backpack is very small. My son is in first grade; he has only a notebook-size school agenda and a lunch box. If he has a lunch that includes a thermos or large bowl, I have to squish the lunchbag into the backpack. This is too small for an older child. However, it would be perfect for a preschooler or even as a toy-tote for non-school use. We are not dissatisfied overall, I just wish the product detail on the selling page had given a clearer indication of size (even listing the dimensions would work). Of course, the standard Doctor Who response is: It's bigger on the inside! This backpack is not :-(

I would recommend this backpack for a preschooler or for use as a toy tote but I don't recommend it for an actual school-use backpack.

I paid $13 dollars for this item and I wanted to buy two but I figured to buy one and see how it was first. It arrived way faster than expected and I love it. And so does my four year old daughter. Now we are fighting over who gets to keep it. I would order a second one but the price jumped to $40 since I ordered it three weeks ago. I don't know why but I am so disappointed. It is definitely not worth more than what I paid for it. It is small and cute and perfect for what I need it for but for $40, I would never buy it. I appreciate that I got it so fast when the delivery was expected to be after Christmas and I got it way before but I am disappointed that I cannot get another one for the same price. I will have to go look elsewhere for it, I guess. Perfect for what I needed it for. I can never keep a purse for long they always tear of a strap breaks or something happens to them because they can't hold up with all of my use. On top of that I need something that if it weighs more than 5 pounds it break. "When I go anywhere instead of packing another bag I just stuff everything in my purse; I end up with 2 novels and anything else I need at any given time in my purse." This bag is perfect for me, it is small enough that i can fit it in my TINY locker at work but still big enough that I can fit everything I need. "including a small first aid kit."

The picture is really awesome and I've had it for nearly a month and a half without any negative where on the bag. I always get complemented on it everywhere I go. Measuring it out in in I'm showing about 9 wide by 12 tall; or if you use cm I'm showing 23 wide by 30 tall about. Also the straps have very cool Velcro on the bottom so if something happens you can always untangle yourself that way.

For a backpack this is very small and should definitely not if you are in middle or high school where you have to carry your books to and from school. In high school this definitely wouldn't have worked for me because it may fit one big text book but that is all. "Of course My backpack back in high school needed to be bucked up or else the car would think someone was sitting in the passenger seat not buckled up.... about 50 pounds"

I am very small boned so the straps fit over my shoulders but if you are at all bigger I can't suggest this for you. The only reason I am not just using a huge purse is because I have always connected those with older people or mothers but really that is just something I have always thought.

As stated, this backpack is on the small side, but will work nicely for kindergarten. I'm not sure it will fit a standard size folder, but is perfect for a composition (marble) notebook and other supplies. The backpack arrived well ahead of the scheduled date which is wonderful. Our son is very excited to have a Doctor Who backpack, and can't wait to use it.

Nautica Luggage Spinnaker 25 Inch Expandable Upright

The Nautica 25 expandable is an excellent piece of luggage as you would expect. Having used it now for several trips I can find no faults. The purchase price at Amazon was the lowest I could find. It stands up to rough handling and I recommend it without reservation.

We have the 21 and the 25" of this suitcase. They are fantastic. I bought the 21" one first then wanted the matching larger one. If you travel by air and not first class you don't want the 28" model it will be 2/3 full at most when it hits 50#.

There is a model that has the same shape but NOT the same color as this model. If you want 'the one' that has the bright colored side panels so you can literally see from 100' away at the airport, you want THIS model and only this model.

Soft sided luggage is much more survivable than hard sided, but these have a bonus; they are PADDED. might add a pound to the weight but they are very light weight, and it's well worth it to make the CONTENTS survivable when going through the gauntlet of airport luggage handling!

Found out an added bonus the other day: the 21" exactly fits inside the 25"; it can't be by accident it's an exact fit; well that sure makes storing easier and extra handy for a trip where you will be bringing more back than bringing with.

The photos online are terrible; these things are BRIGHT orange, like hunter's use for deer hunting, the yellow i hope is similarly bright.

If you like a little splash of color in your life, get the bright yellow or orange models and you will LOVE how easy they are to spot coming out of baggage. (of course, unless too many people read my review).

I have to admit, I was a little worried about this from the reviews I read. I called the company and talked to one of their reps (extremely nice person named Mawar, ask for her if you ever call!) She said that the supplier they used to use was indeed providing low quality bags, but they found a new factory that made the same bag that was a lot better. So I gave it a try. Turns out she was right! When I first got it, I beat the snot out of it. Yanked on the handle, pulled on the pockets and tried to break the plastic thingies on the straps. It held up. And is still holding up a few months later. no problems whatsoever with it. IMO the new ones of these are well worth the money spent.

I bought this backpack in the fall of 2009 for my 8 year old son. He's already getting homework and he needed something that was versatile enough that he could roll it or carry it, based on the weight on any given day.

Well, he rolled it around for about 3 weeks and the handle came apart. What's interesting is that 3 of his classmates have the same backpack and the same thing happened to them as well. In fact, one of them suffered the same fate in just 2 weeks of use.

This meant he had to wear it like a regular backpack permanently. No problem, right? No, big problem. After another 3 weeks one of the straps broke. So now its a one strapped backpack with no handle for rolling.

It's also worth noting that you child WILL be able to feel the metal handle through the pack when its on their back. That means it will hurt MORE than a regular backpack when they wear it.

It has lots of pockets and what not, but the outer fabric gets frayed and ripped pretty easily.

All in all, its a piece of junk. Maybe the worst backpack I've ever seen or had the misfortune to pay for...buyer beware.

I purchased this as a replacement go-around bag for my girl friend who loves Hello Kitty and is quite happy with the size and accessibility of all the pouches. The bag is quite large and holds all her random items she may need for the day. I'm not sure about the longevity of this if it were to be used as a school bag for kids. From what I remember from my grade school/high school years, I had my bag loaded every day all day and I was lucky to have it last the year. But for the cheap price of it I wouldn't expect to last any longer than that if used heavily.

Love this bag. Very durable, super supportive, love all the gear loops, and the hidden straps come in handy for securing overloads (or to compress smaller loads). If you have the right packable gear, this bag can easily be used for a three or four day treck. Also stays dry inside, when snow hiking if I can't get to a tree to hang it from I've just plopped it down in the snow for a short break with no worries. Only 4* because the removable top piece likes to slip loose if there is any weight in it, but this is an easy fix by just changing out the sliders on the webbing. Also there is a place for a bladder but there is no exit for the hose so you must keep the pouch partially unzipped in the corner which is not a problem but just a visual thing. Also I wish there was a mesh pocket for a water bottle or a small pocket on the waist strap... Wishes not necessities though. Great bag lots of space (when you need it) and very comfy. I've used this bag for day hikes to weekend trips and plan to use it for some more extended trips soon!

Ogio Hamptons Women's Tote

I really want to like this tote. It is absolutely perfect EXCEPT for the fact that it doesn't actually fit a 15" laptop. I have the newest macbook pro and with the way the tote is structured to taper at the bottom, there isn't a way to get it into the sleeve horizontally. If you put the computer in vertically, about 4 inches stick out above the padding, making it pretty unusable protection-wise.

This would be a good tote for a 13" laptop or smaller.

I searched for months for the "perfect" bag to carry my stuff in (could be my laptop and/or tablet and journals and Kindle and.....). I wanted it to look professional enough to use for work without being stuffy. I wanted it to be light enough that I didn't need back surgery, not another backpack or messenger bag, something a bit feminine, not something that looked like a beach bag or diaper bag, something that could stand on the floor if possible. VOILA I found this! There are no words to say how much I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Stephen Joseph Girls 7-16 Simply Stephen Joseph 14 Inch Backpack

I read the online measurements and thought I had a good handle on this backpack's size, but it is smaller than what I'd expected. It's for my kindergartener and it replaces a slightly larger character backpack.

Apart from that, it feels really well made and the fabric seems to have some water resistant lining to ease water bottle spills and such. I hope her things fit inside so that she can actually use it.

I love the backpack and so does my 4yr old daughter, who will be attending pre-k. I went with the purple and pink. Might purchase a second one, since the green and pink was my first choice. The handle, back and straps have some padding.
