Tumi Luggage T-Tech By Tumi Icon Usher Messenger Bag

Tumi Luggage T-Tech By Icon Usher Messenger, Terra, One SizeDecent looking bag and not heavy, which is important to me. The material feels nice and smooth, but I have questions about its durability. Will it scratched or fray easily? Time will tell.

Overall, it's a good bag. Not the roomiest bag in the all, but I knew that before I bought it. The oddest thing about the bag is the closing mechanism. You basically loop one of the straps into a tiny metal hook. Why didn't they just do what every other manufacturer does and slap on those plastic three-pronged snap-on thingies? Even my (way, way, way) overpriced and much more expensive Prada bag uses those. Granted, they're easier to break, but they feel more secure.

Back to School Super Saving - Jansport Classic Student Backpack in Navy Blue Color and Hannah Monta

Back to School Super Saving - Jansport Classic Student Backpack in Navy Blue Color and Hannah Montana Wallet SetI bought this for my 3 year old son to use for years. While the color is great, and the zipper has held up the fabric is too thin. My son drug it on the ground a short distance (it didn't even have heavy stuff in it) and there are holes in the bottom of the bag. I was hoping it would at least last until he was done with preschool. :(

OGIO Half Dome Duffel Bag

Ogio Half Dome Duffle BagI own this as well as a previous generation of this bag, so I can point out and review the things they changed and things they kept. We're only talking 4 years ago, a long story how I managed to ruin that bag--my fault, not the product's.

Actually, they changed a lot that would not be noticed at first sight. The outer fabric looks the same, but close up it's a waffled texture, and seems sturdier than the old, but of course only time will tell. The former fabric was of decent sturdiness. The outside design is nearly identical, with a newly added pouch for whatever--an ipod, keys or some such. The biggest differences are on the inside: on the old model there was a thin, rectangular piece (likely cardboard), covered in plastic, that lay across the bottom to retain something of a flat shape. This was a nice feature to me. Now it's gone; the whole bottom is now quite shapeless, so if you put something heavy inside first, it juts out. The bag may fit better now into a locker, etc.. Also, they've added a new, rubberized coating on the inside fabric. This is better for wet things, I guess, but WARNING!!! It stinks. Alot. You'll want to keep this at all times back in your car's trunk for sure. I was happy with this bag once before, and hope this one will do the trick again.

When I first took the bag out of the box, I thought I had made a mistake and it was way too small. Then I loaded my gym stuff it it, and was pleasantly surprised to see how much stuff I could get in there! I have a pair of very large gym shoes (men's 12), shampoo, swim stuff, lotions, and a change of clothes and still room for other small things. My gym supplies towels, so if I had to bring my own it might get a little too tight. The material seems to be quite sturdy and I like the small pocket on the front for my very small items (like cell phone or hair bands). The bag is flexible to get into a locker, but sturdy enough to hold its own shape when carrying unlike my current bag which is shapeless and shifts everything around. Anyway, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. Just one more thing....I didn't notice when I purchased the pink one, but it's a 2 tone color of deep pink and purple over the top zipper area (but I like it!)

I'm using this bag to go to the gym and it's the perfect size. I can carry all I need, a towel, shoes, etc. The only problem is the fact that there's no shoulder pad on the strap. Other then that as very good purchase.

I purchased this item from Big-5 sporting goods. I was able to compare it with other products namely, all of the duffel bags from adidas, underarmour, nike, etc. Hands down, a higher quality bag than its competition at a similar price. The zippers are durable, the seams are very secure, and the materials are good quality.

I believe I will have this bag for a long time.

Dakine Central Pack

Dakine Central Pack, StencilI'd like to start this off by saying that I've had this backpack for about three months and am impressed. This backpack feels durable, has the storage space I need, and just looks great. I've had no problem with the straps, zippers, or any other part of the bag. I only wish that this bag had more pockets; I often that I have too many random things stuffed into the outer pocket that I have to dig through for longer than I'd like to find what I'm looking for. The top outer pocket is useful for storing your glasses or wallet anything that's small and you need to keep in reach.

The capacity of the main pocket, in my experience, is about two 2-inch binders and one 1.5-inch binder (I'm estimating). I usually don't need more space than that, and I'm in high school. Don't expect to carry all your textbooks AND binders in this bag, as you would look like an idiot you know, those people who obviously have stuffed too much crap into their backpacks.

This bag is also a breath of fresh air for those who are sick of those bland JanSports that everyone seems to be wearing (at least at my school).

great backpack with good amount of space very durable used everyday for sailing, surfing, etc and i mean literally everyday

I love the pockets on the front, they are perfect for my needs. The bag area is spacious and the double zippers on each pocket are a nice touch. It does fall forward most of the time.

High Peak Trango 65 Backpack

High Peak Trango 65 BackpackI bought this item from a company called Camping Maxx and soon after purchase, discovered a flaw in the construction. The response from the retailer via the manufacture reps from High Peak was "put a piece of tape over it because they are all like that because it's a new line." Not exactly the response I was looking for as a new customer of the retailer and of High Peak items!! I just said "thank you" and considered it a valuable lesson learned. I've since stopped looking at items from both retailer and High Peak though I don't really know yet whether it is a minor or a major flaw. Regardless, it was enough for a newbie like me to discover so I seriously question the quality control on any future items. QC and the response are enough for me to steer clear though I do like the lightweight bag. I've been told by more experienced backpackers that the shoulder straps are not thick enough so that may be another thing. I've managed to keep my pack weight under 22 pounds and am not doing thru hiking yet so, so far, it has been fine hence the generous three stars.

Liberty Bags Game Day Large Square Duffel. 8806

Liberty Bags Large Square Duffel, Black, One Size. 8806This was purchased to hold medical supplies for a youth baseball team. There is plenty of room for a large first aid kit, several boxes of ace bandages and a couple of dozen ice packs. The one con, if it matters to you, is that the small side pocket is about 6"x8", big enough for a wallet and keys but not much else. Wash carefully, gentle cycle, no bleach, etc. I recommend this item.

Just came back from traveling for a week and a half and let me tell you, having a this as a carry-on was the best decision I made. It's pretty large, around 45 linear inches but I was able to fit a lot of clothes and a suit. I got the khaki and it's pretty much the same as you see it on screen. The only negative was the small pocket in the front, pretty pointless.

This bag will fall apart after a week of use. The delivery was prompt, but the product it self did not meet my standards. I bought my first one and then it ripped....gave the benefit of the doubt and bought another one and that one fell apart as well. Don't waste your money

Want Liberty Bags Game Day Large Square Duffel. 8806 Discount?

The Liberty Bags Large Square Duffel is a rugged bag that comes in a variety of colors and measures 23 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 11". Handles on the sides connect at the top with a velcro strap for comfort. A removable shoulder strap is also provided.

Access to the bag is through a zipper on the top. A small zippered side pocket is useful for carrying items you want to keep handy without placing them in your pockets -for example, a small flashlight, mp3 player, ear buds, energy bar, or Advil. A small TSA-compliant padlock could be used to secure the main compartment, but is not included.

Airline restrictions vary. While it is possible the bag may be rejected for exceeding carry-on size restrictions, I have not encountered that problem. Nor have I had difficulty in squeezing the duffel under airplane seats.

Carrying a fully-loaded duffel may present a challenge for children, or persons of petite stature, but for most people it is a reasonable alternative to wheeled luggage. There are multiple listings for the same bag on Amazon, so shop around for the best price!

Cosmos Brown Color Leather Skin Case Cover for Apple Macbook Pro 13-13.3-Inch + Cosmos Cable Tie

Cosmos Brown Color Leather Skin Case Cover for Apple Macbook Pro 13-13.3-Inch + Cosmos Cable TieI love this unique design of Macbook pro case that I ever owned.

I got it because it looks very unique & sleek design made me get this.

It looks like protecting the macbook pro fairly good, soft leather cover scratch proofs the brand new macbook pro.

However, since case is isolate the backplate into unibody, easy to get heat up on bottom of the case.

If you are planned to use it for heavy load of work, you shouldn't use this case because it's going to heat up really easily.

However, if you plan to go starbucks or occsasional usage, than you must use it!! it is sexy case.

Overall I like the product, I just wish it wasn't so bulky. Even in my backpack it's bulky, and heavy.

I've had this item for a few days now and I am really happy with my purchase. At first reading the reviews I was a bit worried that the case might be too big but it fit perfectly. It is a bit loose by my trackpad but it doesn't bother me at all, honestly if it was tighter I'm sure my macbook wouldn't even fit in it. As for overheating I can't tell yet but if i use it for a longer time the bottom tends to feel slightly warm but every computer is like that so I don't think overheating will be an issue. I'm very happy with this product so far and I definitely recommend it! Not to mention its design is gorgeous and anyone who sees it compliments me that the case is really nice!

Decided to go with this case despite some reviews that were on the fence with whether or not it was worth it and I can tell you that it is truthfully probably worth more than the $18 I paid for it! Just like a few of the other review, the magnetic strap is kinda awkward, but as other suggested, I just tuck it under my laptop and it doesn't bother me. The only reason this product doesn't get 5 stars is because it is not a completely PERFECT fit. The part that goes around the wrist rest, on either side of the touchpad, kinda sticks up and doesn't lay flush to the laptop. Annoying at times, but after having this case on my macbook for a few weeks, I rarely notice it anymore.

Another benefit to this case that I'm not sure the other reviews mentioned is that the inside has a very soft lining, so you don't have to worry about the aluminum being scratched as with the hard plastic cases.

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag, Grey Texture/Carbon/Grey Texture, MediumPros:

Simple, compact design

Good organization pockets

Weatherproof lining

Quick access pocket

Sewn in shoulder strap for good stability

Small size is great for 13" MacBook Pro

Cons:

Velcro closure

No grab strap

No laptop sleeve

I was looking for a bag to haul my MacBook Pro 13" and work papers to and from my work. I wanted something compact, light, and comfortable and in a fairly conservative color. The small Timbuk2 Classic fit the bill. I really like this bag, although there are a few additional features I wish it had. I tried out this bag as well as the Timbuk2 D-lux, Timbuk2 Commuter, and Patagonia Half Mass in a local store before deciding on the small Timbuk2 classic.

===========PROS===========

1. Design. Simple bag. Weather proof lining. Organization pockets on inside for your iPod, phone, keys, pens, etc. Has a quick release extension to ease getting it on, but I don't find that I every need to use it with the small bag. adding it

2. Size. The small Timbuk2 is the perfect width for a MacBook Pro 13" and 8.5x11 inch papers without a lot of extra room on the sides for things to jostle around or get lost in the bottom. There isn't much extra room after putting in a laptop and few textbooks, but I found that the weight of the full small bag is about as much as I would want to carry in a messenger bag that puts most of the weight on one shoulder. The medium sized bag seemed to be a big step up in size and was too bulky for me. For days when I need more room, like for workout clothes, I just bring a second bag rather than carry around extra room with me every day. (If you have large bulky, but relatively light, items to carry around then you may want the medium or large bag.)

3. Neapolitan Pocket. So handy to have a pocket you can access without opening the bag. Enough said.

4. Divider. A pleasant surprise here. I was disappointed that the divider was not suitable for my laptop (see below) and had considered cutting the darn thing out of the bag. However, now I find myself using it all the time! It is a great for storing papers/reports so they are both protected and easily accessible. Sit down on the subway...pull out a report. Super!

5. The Shoulder Strap. The strap sewn in along both sides of the bag and is not removable. Having the sturdy wide strap sewn gives the bag a lot of stability. Bags with straps that clip on, swivel and pivot at the point of attachment. This bag doesn't wobble like that.

===========CONS===========

1. Velcro. The Timbuk2 bag has both clips and velcro for securing the flap. I hate the velcro. It is unnecessary because it already has clips, but worse it is noisy. I am reluctant to open the bag during a meeting because of the loud rIIIIpping sound it will create. There is no discrete way to open this bag. (Note: The velcro closure could be negated covering it with a velcro hook strip which I will do at some point.)

2. No grab strap. Other than the shoulder strap, there is no handle on the bag. I often find myself grabbing for a handle on the top of the bag which doesn't exist. You can get a grab handle if you build a custom Timbuk2 bag on their website, but you pay twice as much for the bag.

3. No laptop sleeve. Although the bag has a built-in divider which fits the MacBook Pro perfectly, only the inside side is padded (see my video). There is no padding on the outside or bottom of the divider. This means that if you set down your bag hard on the floor, you run the risk of damaging your laptop. I just use my existing neoprene sleeve with my laptop. It is too bulky to fit into the divider, but is quite secure in the main compartment of the bag. (Note: the D-Lux version does have a padded laptop sleeve. See my discussion on other bags below for why it didn't work for me)

===========Other bags I considered===========

Timbuk2 D-Lux: It has a padded laptop sleeve (although I wasn't impressed by the padding at the bottom of the sleeve), but it doesn't come in black which was a deal breaker for me. I also didn't like the modular organization system which attaches via velcro to the inside of the bag; the pockets weren't as securely attached to the bag which makes getting things in and out of the pockets more difficult.

Patagonia: What I really liked about this bag was that the padded laptop sleeve does not touch the bottom of the bag, the sleeve was a bit bulky and was oddly attached to the inside of the bag. Also the construction of the bag didn't feel as solid.

Timbuk2 Commuter: A bigger bag than the small Timbuk2 Classic, but with more functionality. It has a cool laptop case that flips out to be TSA compliant (i.e. you don't have to take the laptop out of the bag). It also has a grab handle (yeah!) and no velcro on the flap. It was 2nd on my list, but in the end I decided it was bigger than necessary for my daily commute. The laptop case is made to fit a 15" laptop although it my 13" didn't move around too much. I didn't like the detachable shoulder strap with swivel straps as much; I prefer the sewn in shoulder strap of the Timbuk2 Classic. However, this would be a great bag for airline travel as if gives a little more room than the Timbuk2 Classic and the TSA compliant laptop compartment. I may end up buying this as a second bag for traveling.

This is my second Timbuk2 bag. I got the XS size first to just use it like a purse. I commute by bike to work about one day a week and the XS bag just wasn't big enough for a change of clothes and my lunch, etc. I debated getting a Large one but am so glad I went with Medium. It's huge! I'm only 5'1" so it looks a little ridiculous on me but I can ride my bike fine with it full of stuff. I think I will also use it as my luggage for trips occasionally. I got it in Silver/Lime-Aide/Lime-Aide color which is great for visibility on my bike (I don't trust the drivers in NM too much so I try to be as visible as possible). Timbuk2 bags are certainly expensive but worth it I think. They are quality bags and will last forever. I was also glad to find them on Amazon for much cheaper than the Timbuk2 website.

Buy Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag Now

This bag arrived on my doorstep last week, and since then I have been carrying it to and from work every day. I was so happy I found this color in a size Small (it's sold out all over the internet and more expensive on the direct brand's website). I purchased this looking for a bag that would a) not ruin my back due the weight and b) fit my netbook and other graduate-school items such as textbooks, portable hard drive, etc. First of all, I can fit all of my textbooks, netbook, papers, cords, and other little things I used to keep in my purse, with enough room to shove my water bottle in on the side. When it rains, which it has several times this week, the water is completely repelled by the awesome "ballistic" material. When it stops raining, however, I can loosen both of the straps on the front flap and slide my umbrella perfectly along the bottom of the bag, pulling the straps a bit to make the fit tighter.

With that said, I do think it's a slightly confusing bag! So many pockets and compartments, I may have to make some labels to attached to each so I remember where I put things! Also, I would like an outer pocket for a water bottle of some sort. But, since my bottle doesn't leak, I can put it inside.

I am actually happy it does not come with a laptop compartment. The Timbuk2 Freestyle netbook bag could not even fit my netbook (which is slightly larger, at 11.6 inches) because of its precisely-measured compartment. This bag in a size Small does the trick and fits it perfectly, even with a sleeve I previously purchased on it.

As some reviewers have noted, there is no grab strap. However, just shorted the strap so it lays flat against the top of the bag, tuck the extra strap material into the bag, and there's your shorter "grab" strap, should you need it.

Read Best Reviews of Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag Here

I just wanted to mention about the particular size of the bag I bought (small) since it was the hardest part for me when I was buying..

To begin with, I already have a huge messenger bag from another SF based company. And I still like the bag very much, yet it's a little uncomfortable at times, or looks silly when I have a notebook and a pen in a bag that can handle at least two 12 packs. For that reason, I eventually stop wearing it on a daily basis, and started using my backpack instead. But I really wanted my messenger bag back.. as it's so much more convenient and looks better IMO, esp. when you commute on bike.

So I decided to buy a small messenger bag, but Timbuk2 instead this time. The biggest selling point for me was how it had many small inner organizers/pockets, as well as its divider where you can separate your notepads, books, or small laptops (they are very practical for a college student like me). Also, I picked small because x-small looked a little TOO small and medium looked fine but knew I didn't really NEED that much space when I commute everyday cause I prefer to travel light.

Here's list of things I carry usually: textbook(s), notepads, bunch of pens, a mini stapler, an eyedrop, a 10" netbook or a 13" mbp, and a fleece jacket. (plus couple more small stuff). Well they all fit perfectly without trying and my back really appreciates the load and the way it sits securely on my back. If I don't put in my jacket, then I can stuff in a lot more; I just choose not to. You can also strap your jacket using the secure straps. I usually commute by bike or skateboard, and the bag always sits tight on my back. VERY comfortable if you know how to wear it properly. There's also a loop on the bottom front of the bag where I put a blinker on for night riding..

There's tons of favorable reviews on Timbuk2 products. I just wanted to let you know that small can be adequate enough for daily use, and feels a lot better than having a loaded big thing on the back. It also helps you to limit the things so you don't carry unnecessary things. My first Timbuk2, def. not my last one.

Want Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag Discount?

After thinking long and hard about whether this bag would be right for me, I ended up buying the Classic Messenger in Night Blue/Village Violet/Night Blue, size Small. I actually originally got a size Medium in another color, but this color combination and size was better suited to me and my needs.

My biggest debate when buying was size. I originally bought a Medium size bag, but, after filling it and putting it on, I felt it looked way too large on me. I'm 5'8" and a rather larger woman, so I was surprised. It was a bit overpowering when on. It did, however, fit everything I would ever need. Still, I decided to downsize to the Small because it didn't overwhelm my body when I put it on. As long as I don't pack the bag to the gills, my 15-inch Macbook Pro fits in the main pocket. I can also pack all my gym clothes, including a towel, tennis shoes, and a few books for school without trouble. Small is enough. Trust me.

Other than that, it's an extremely functional bag. All the little pockets can sometimes be annoying (where did I put my lotion again?), but they do keep me organized. The velcro closure is very very secure, and adding the clips makes me certain no one can break into my bag without me noticing. I do wish there were a handle on top of the bag, but it's not so much of an annoyance that it really bothers me. The strap is excellent, and fits across my body well, even though I'm a size 22 (this is something many plus size woman have to worry about). I also think this bag is very durable and will last me a very long time. It helps that I love this color combination completely!

Altogether, it's a great bag with lots of pros. The only cons are minor annoyances (no top handle, loud velcro, almost too many pockets) that in no way harm the bag's functionality or my love of it. Truly, this is a great bag!

Thomas and Friends Superstar Full Size Thomas Backpack - Thomas the Tank Engine School Bag

Thomas and Friends Superstar Full Size Thomas Backpack - Thomas the Tank Engine School BagI received this bag on time and it was very neatly packaged. However, within 1 or 2 days of carrying this bag, with only a pair of shorts and a shirt in it, this bag started to come apart on the inside at the seams. I think that a bag, at this cost should have been more sturdy. I do not recommend this bag. It is not of durable quality...just pretty to look at. I am very disappointed with it and so is my 4 year old son for whom the bag was purchased.

My 6 year old son was thrilled with this backpack. It's the right size for a little one, but after only 2 months of use there are holes in the bottom and the top. He carries a plastic folder to school and the edges of the folder rubbed in a spot and now we've got holes. I've duct taped the heck out of it to keep it going longer as my son adores the backpack and I'd like to get a bit more use out of it, but I certainly wouldn't buy it again due to it's lack of durability.

The North Face Men's Borealis

THE NORTH FACE Borealis Daypack JAKE BLUEI measure construction sites in NYC and having to haul everything is a chore (level's, keys, iPad, field folders, ect). Has a huge amount of space, more than you would think.

Many different hooks and ways to attach items to the outside and a few well placed hidden pockets.

The material is great, takes a beating and cleans easily. The straps are padded and very comfortable.

A+ Product.

Update #1: For the first time since I purchased this I brought it out in the rain. While it's not rainproof it does wick off the rain pretty well. Where it fails is the Northface logo stitched on the front. Since its stitched all the way through, it absorbs water and becomes a channel directly into the bag. I think I'm going to ducktape over the inside of the logo. I still give this 5 stars, it never claimed to be waterproof.

Bought this for my daughter for college. It was exactly what I expected it to be. She is geared up and ready to head back to college.

I love this backpack. I love the laptop slot and I love the front pocket where I can put all my stuff in.

I love the design and I love how it is waterproof. The one thing I don't like about is the size of it. I was thinking that I could put in massive amount of stuff in my new Borealis, but this bag doesn't hold as much stuff as I expected it to.

But overall, I love it!!

North Face backpacks are typically unsurpassed. Unfortunately this backpack should be passed on if you're looking for a day pack or gym bag. The addition of the laptop sleeve with associated padding makes for an awkward feeling and uncomfortable experience when wearing. Access to the main cargo area is limited as well which makes packing this bag frustrating at times.

Embassy Italian Stone Design Genuine Leather Backpack Cart Oversized Adjustable Shoulder Straps

Embassy Italian Stone Design Genuine Leather Backpack Cart Oversized Adjustable Shoulder StrapsThe backpack arrived quickly and in good condition. It is large enough for a day trip or use as an overnight or carry-on bag, and fits under the seat on plane flights. The wheeled feature is very helpful. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable.

The adjustable web part of the shoulder straps are disappointingly weak however, as is true for the plastic buckles that adjust the web. One broke when I was adjusting the shoulder strap, so I must replace the webbing and the buckles--an annoying problem to have for a backpack purchased only a month ago. Although the backpack has adjustable shoiulder straps, they aren't strong enough to handle modest weight.

Finally, this backpack was manufactured in China, not Italy! It is incorrectly marketed on Amazon as "Italian Stone Design!". Amazon should insist that the seller drop the "Italian" reference.

TRENDnet Padded Backpack Carrying Case for 15.4 Inch Laptops TA-NC2 (Black with Sliver Accents)

TRENDnet Padded Backpack Carrying Case for 15.4 Inch Laptops TA-NC2I need to use this bag awhile to give a thorough review, but since there aren't any reviews so far, I thought I'd share some initial impressions. The good: outside appears sturdy to deal with commuting; nice clips and decent should pad on the strap; convenient outside pocket w/ 3 pen holders, a plastic carabiner clip and small pocket; backbackpack straps pack nicely into a zipped compartment; and inside size/padding are sufficient to hold 15.4 laptop and other electronic essentials. A plus is that a backpack strap or the shoulder strap can be clipped to carry as a messenger bag (left or right). I'm a long-distance commuter on public transportation, so my major disappointment is that the designers apparently failed to measure a typical water bottle. Both outside bottle holders are much too small, and I question whether the mesh will hold up. The inside pockets are made using a thinner fabric. Hard to say whether they'll rip and fray with use. As an FYI, I'm a 5'9" female and find the approx 16" height of the bag on the edge of being too tall to comfortably wear cross-body in front (my preferred for commuting). The thinner vertical profile is nice for wearing on the back, especially compared to bulkier backpack bags. The three stars is because the exterior bottle holders were the only reason for my purchase of this particular bag.

Dakine Women's 18-Litre Team Heli Pro Pack (Annie Boulanger, 20 x 11 x 5.5-Inch)

Dakine Women's 18-Litre Team Heli Pro PackLots of room with individual compartments. More than what I needed for cross country skiing, but it was a very good price. Will also be able to use for hiking. Very comfortable for my body height of 5'2".

I ordered this cause of the green and purple. Thought it looked good together. I get my order and open the box, my frowm turned upside down. Back pack was covered in camo. Im not a camo person by any means. Not to mension that the pouch on top the zipper was broken. Ended up selling it to my co-worker. She Loves it. Its actually a nice pack. I was just not happy with it. I just wish they would have said that it had camo on before i bought it.

Lap Log - Soft Beanbag Tablet Stand - Chef's Herbs - Perfect for Tablets of All Sizes Plus eReaders

Lap Log - Soft Beanbag Tablet Stand - Chef's Herbs - Perfect for Tablets of All Sizes Plus eReaders and Smartphones. Adjustable to Any Angle and Stable on All Surfaces. Ranked Highest on Amazon in Customer Satisfaction. Made in the USA from Sustainable Materials.First of all, I never write reviews although I READ and RELY on other's reviews all the time. I was searching for a support pad to use with both my iPad and Kendle and looked at a few others on Amazon. After reading all the reviews on the Lap Log, this was my product of choice and so glad I did. It provides great support for both devices no matter where you are using it (bed, chair, table....it works anywhere). However, what impressed me as much as people's review of the Lap Log, was the A++++ customer service and support comments. I use a fairly thick cover on both the Kendle and iPad, so I contacted Bamboosa when I placed my order and asked if I could get the wider ledge. I got a immediate response from Mo that they would ship with the wider ledge and also received a follow-up email making sure it arrived and whether or not I was satisfied. I especially like the fact that the Lap Log is well-made and durable, but love that they are a USA company supporting jobs in our country and not overseas. For me that was justification enough for paying a little higher price than some of the competitors. Sometimes it's not only about cost!

This company is amazing. I ordered 2 of these for Christmas presents through Amazon and was suppose to pay $32.00 in shipping (2 day but I really didn't need 2 day..I had other items in my cart). I didn't mind because I really liked them (and all the other great reviews sold me and made in the USA never hurts). Well, about 10 minutes after I purchased them I received a phone call from Moe at the company. He said that he noticed I lived in VA and offered to ship it Priority (instead of express) for FREE and said it would get here on the same date. I was amazed! Of course, I said yes! He then said he owed me $32.00 and would send me the money. I decided to just take the money and apply it towards another Bamboosa ereader stand. He said he would send me 3 and call it even! Folks, you won't find a better company or a more customer friendly company than these people. When the e-readers arrived they were very nicely wrapped in tissue paper with a cute Bamboosa sticker-exactly like what you would get at a little boutique. That was a nice and unexpected touch! Even though they were gifts, I had to try it out for myself! They are very well made and not cheap looking at all. It worked perfectly and my son, husband and Mother-in-law will love them. Thank you Bamboosa!! I will CERTAINLY do business with you again...and I hope others do too! Go USA!

Easy to use and to clean. Works very well. My hands would get tired holding the Fire when reading. This allows me to rest the Fire on the wooden ledge. Initially I had some difficulty with the log and figuring out how to best use it. I wasn't as happy as I had hoped. However, the company took the intiative to contact me and did everything they could to make sure I was satisfied. We have removed some of the chips on the inside to see if that would help, and it did. Once we implemented the company suggestions and assistance with the wooden ledge, the log worked to 100% perfection. The product is great, but as importantly the follow up and follow through by the company was superior. They cared about my satisfaction as a customer. I will buy from them again-job well done Mo.

I can't say enough about this product. It works perfectly, is of the highest quality and the customer service is outstanding! I received mine for Christmas from my mom and love it. Based on what I was saying about it, my mom thought she might like one as well. I bought her one for her birthday and had it shipped to Canada. My mom has a first generation iPad and it's in a thick leather case. The wooden insert wasn't wide enough to hold her iPad but the problem was fixed after a quick call to Bamboosa. I spoke with Mo and within 5 minutes he had arranged to have a wider insert sent to her...in Canada...at no cost. I value good customer service and these people are exceptional. I would definitely recommend the lap log if you're looking for a tablet stand. This one is worth every penny!

The Lap Log is a pillow for your tablet, just like a bean bag but cylindrical in shape . All the materials used are environmentally friendly. In fact, it is one of the few products I have seen that is available here that is made in USA. The pillow is filled with very light germ resistant buckwheat hulls. Buckwheat hulls are actually used as the new miracle pillow; it is hypo-allergenic, it conforms to your body, it is hot during the winter and cool in summer. The cover is washable, but you will need to remove the buckwheat hull through a hidden zipper. Removing the hulls from the pillow is easy but placing it back may be a bit of a challenge.

You place your tablet on a wooden ledge and adjust it to your viewing angle. It works great on top of a table, on the floor, on your lap, on the bed or even when you travel. It even doubles as a pillow.

One disadvantage compared to a regular beanbag is that it can't be tilted from side to side. It is just sitting on the wooden ledge without a strap and because it is very light, the tablet may tend to topple over if you tilt it too much.
