This bag has replaced all of my other bags. I carry lots of electronics with me. Easily holds my 10.1 tablet, my nook and my kindle. Still lots of room for cell phone, wallet, glasses and more. Recommend this for your all purpose bag. Love it.

I love this bag for all the many areas of storage/use. The front pocket is NOT big enough to hold a 10" ipad as they say, but that's ok as there are other pockets where a 10" ipad with a sleeve can fit. The only downside is that the bag is a little heavy and then with all my "purse" belongings and the ipad it can become really heavy. But I would recommend it to anyone with a strong shoulder!

Volcom Men's Crowley Backpack

Great value for the price, and I was surprised at the details (lanyards on the zippers, buttons to keep the extra strap tucked away). The main cavern is simple with no extra slots, but it does have a padded back. The smaller front pocket is interesting. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, that compartment actually goes UNDER the main compartment. Think of it as a stacked design. But I don't mind it. I use that small zipper to store shoes, water bottles, or other heavier items that you would naturally want to be at the bottom. In a twisted way it makes more sense than the usual flat front pocket.

Great size and quality. The outer pocket being placed at the bottom of the bag was not the best of ideas though.

This is a great bag. I have had it for a little over a year now and it still looks like new. I have not had any rips or bad zippers. It is a very tuff bag and will take tons of abuse. I use it as a travel bag for all of my electronics and day to day use it has worked out great. I just received this backpack today and am writing this review in support of the product. So far so good.. It seems very sturdy and it is a little snug for my ASUS G73 17.3" gaming laptop. I am able to place the power brick, ipad, logitech gaming mouse and pads, USB external harddrive, and a 15" acer laptop inside the backpack! (I haven't tried placing a PS3 or XBOX yet, but i'm sure either console would fit in place of the 15" laptop) I didn't have any shipping issues as it came on time with a tracking number as well. The previous person who wrote the negative review could of arranged some type of pickup with the shipper (it's for safety and security purposes for the company that wants the product to be shipped)

The pack is very comfortable, it hugs your shoulder and stay put with the clip-on whistle straps across the chest(Genius for SOS). The pack also has a stylish feature that looks great in any place. I use it day to day for work and store my laptop with plety of space for food and water. The quality of fabric and stitching is very excellent, a product not made it china. I also use it for fishing, hiking, bikingand it has enough space to hold food water and my Arc Teryx water proof jacket and pants and that is plenty of room in my book. This pack has nice feature such as the strap chamber sleeve to hide the bladder hose out of sight with zipper openings.

Not the best and not the worst. Comes with a non-detachable strap, a main pocket for books and another for pens and pencils.

This is a great bag. If someone sees you with it, and has watched Code Geass, let the discussion begin! It's a great way to link up with other anime fans, and it does its job! It's got a flap inside for some pencils etc, and an outer pouch for miscellaneous stuff. Great quality, great design, great product.

Jansport Elefunk Tote (Black)

I originally got this bag about 6 years ago (in 2003). It was perfect, there were so many little pockets that you could organize everything you needed. Plus, it doesn't look huge, but it holds ALOT of stuff.

I purchased another one for my boyfriend recently (Fall 2008) b/c he was so in love with my bag. The design in generally the same, but the quality of the material has seriously deteriorated. You can tell the fabric is made of much cheaper stuff. The front zip pocket use to have a compartment to slide things into, but it now just sown directly onto the bag (eliminating a good partition in front pocket). There is also this tiny piece of fabric sown on as a 'handle' to use to carry it, but it's so feeble, it's not really much of an improvement.

If you didn't know what the old one was like, I'd still say it was a pretty good bag...nice colors options now too, but clearly cutting back on the quality of the materials and workmanship.

I purchased this bag for my partner who is pursuing college. He absolutely loves this bag. There are a number of zippered compartments on the body of the bag. The front flap also has a small pocket for easy access externally which, is secured by clips that attach to the bottom of the bag. Beneath the flap is another zippered compartment that is very handy. It has a number of pockets, a key ring, among other areas to keep yourself organized, this zippered area provides a secure place to carry a wallet or music player without having the worry of being pick-pocketed. We live in Chicago and this is a wonderful commuter bag as well. The strap has an adjustable pad for heavier loads as well as a padded back for wearing while biking. There is also a netted external pouch for bottles. The main compartment of the bag is secured by a long zipper that runs the length of the opening and also has a padded divider for occasionally transporting any size laptop. It was money well spent, as he'll be sure to use the bag for years to come. I hope this helps in your decision.

This bag is absolutely perfect! I keep my 14.1" laptop, usb mouse, battery charger, palm pilot, palm pilot keyboard and random paperwork in this bag, and it is NOT overstuffed! Everything important for my daily travels fits in this bag, and still looks stylish with the slim fit pockets!

There is a wide foam pad that I lay my laptop against, and I have nothing to worry about as I carry it along while shooting pictures.

The construction is the best, but then again, it is a Jansport, so you should already know that you have nothing to worry about in that department.

I would highly recommend this bag for laptop and business paperwork carrying.

I was disappointed when I got this bag at first, primarily because it was huge! And it seemed like it wouldn't hold its shape.

After getting discouraged by Amazon's return policy, I decided to use it anyway. And I am so glad I did.

I have been using it to carry my gym clothes, office documents, lunch box, and am really happy with its performance and quality and guess what it does hold its shape.

Would have loved to see more compartments (-1 star for this), but it isn't so bad the way it is right now.

My 9 y.o. daughter was clear she wanted a messenger bag, preferably in turquoise with at least 3 pockets. This bag fit the bill perfectly! It has 3 large pockets which all close with heavy-duty zippers. The largest pocket is big enough to carry a 3-ring binder, lunch bag, several books, notebooks, folders and a jacket. There are several smaller pockets internally for pencils, small notebooks, phones, etc. The handle is broad enough to not twist easily and can be adjusted to fit shorter or longer bodies. She has only used it for 3 weeks but so far, it seems like it will hold up well throughout the year and she loves it! The bag we bought is mostly turquoise with a bit of white near the bottom. It is not the plaid one shown in the photo.

While the sleeve itself is OK considering the quality, etc, it does not meet the specifications for Acer Timeline 14" notebooks listed (8471 et al.). While these are wide-screens (and thus of specific body dimensions) and also very thin (which is among their major features), the Duragadget sleeve I have had is rather suited for the 'regular' notebooks considering the body dimensions and thickness. As a result, the sleeve is just hanging very loosely, with almost an inch extra for all directions. Something I could have at home without ordering overseas.

Lego Brick Shaped Red Backpack

The backpack is adorable. I bought it for my 6 year old who is crazy about Legos. It is a compact backpack, perfect for ages 6 or 7 and under. Any bigger of a kid and it would probably be too small for carrying school work/supplies/lunch. The little round zipper pockets make the look of the backpack. They are a tad too small for use, so they are mainly for ascetic. We use the side mesh pocket for a water bottle and notice that it is starting to rip after two months. Overall a good backpack for a little Lego enthusiast.

Mammut - MTR 201 Backpack

Then next best trail running pack with this many features is almost $100 more (Salomon S-Lab) and the MTR has more volume! Fully loaded there was definitely some noticeable bounce but I had my overnight kit stuffed in there. A full GoLite Shangri-la 3 tent, sleeping pad, a bit of food, water filter (sawyer squeeze) etc. trekking poles lashed to the side right and a 20 oz water bottle in the side left side pocket. So, yeah I expected some bounce. The pack itself is feather weight. The material is translucent and probably not very durable. Having it filled to capacity I could the seams being stressed. Overall very high quality craftsmanship though.

Fit was acceptable but could be dialed in better with sizing variation (s,m,l),this probably keeps the cost down. Right now it is a one size fits all pack. I'm on the smaller side (64in/135lbs) and I tightened the shoulder tension completely. The chest strap provided good tension but the design would benefit from the second sternum strap that comes equipped on the 7 liter smaller version. The hip belt actually sits above the navel and is not padded. It did help stabilize the load but I think the 2nd sternum strap would have improved the pack fit and bounce more.

The shoulder straps have multiple pockets. There is a bottle holder on the right, though what size bottle it was made for I have no idea. It cannot fit the typical 20 oz bottles without serious effort. I would be afraid of ripping the material. The left side has a built in whistle and a mesh pocket that is perfect for a cell phone. There is a volume expansion zipper on the main body of the pack, a feature that you see on many suitcases, that allows you to cram those high volume items in (rain fly/tarp)without stressing the light weight material too much. Also on the back side of the pack behind the super plush padded mesh back panel (best back panel ever!)is where the hydration sleeve is. The sleeve will easily fit a 3 liter hydration bladder and there is a clever way to route the tube under the shoulder fabric and a nice Velcro piece on the shoulder to keep the tube in place. FYI this is obviously a frameless pack.

The MTR 201 is definitely a niche product. Great for UL backpackers out for only a single night or trail runners out all day or overnight unsupported. I can see myself using this as a day pack when out with my 3 year old on a picnic/day hike but mostly for one night of fastpacking, or a stage race.

Loses a star for fit/bounce, hipbelt, and no 2nd sternum strap. The option to remove the hipbelt when not in use would be nice.

Baggallini Luggage Messenger Bag

This baggallini is great, it's perfect for traveling! I was able to stay organized and keep everything where I needed it. It even allows me to put locks on the zippers on the front to keep out pickpockets while keeping things I need in the back pocket closest to me. I can even carry a bottle of water in it. It's the perfect size and waterproof.

I bought this bag, and I think that I paid too much for a bag that lost their seams in less than one week. It lost their seams in the mesh pocket for the bottle, and in the zipper of the half pocket.

The belt could also be improved so doesn't slip of its adjusted position.

I ordered this backpack so that I could have an all-in-one bag for my school books, a padded section for my laptop and personal items if needed. I ordered this and couldn't be more satisfied. It is actually much larger than it appears in the photo. When I took it out of the box I was a little concerned that the main opening was too small, but my 15" laptop slid right in with no problem. I could also fit 2 full 1-inch binders and a textbook that is at least 2.5 3 inches thick with plenty of room to spare. With it full everything is also very easy to take out. No pulling and tugging necessary. The straps are very wide and comfortable on my back relieving a lot of strain that backpacks can cause. There are several other storage areas for credit cards, pens, cell phones, water bottles and more. It is very well made and sturdy. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

My 15.5in Lenovo fits perfectly inside. The computer pouch is padded on all sides. The other inside section is huge. There are two outer pockets. The backstraps are padded. The nylon is very thick. The quality is very good.

This is good bag. It's large enough to carry several books, notebooks and your laptop. It's leather like look is also an awesome touch. The bag did have a weird smell for a while because of its material. After a while it wore away. At first it has a glossy look to it but as the bag gets more use, that finish wears away. It's a good bag but I feel that the price should be near that of similar items for $29 dollars. Its not leather by any means. My PU jacket that uses more material, costed me less than this bag so I am a little disappointed. The overall quality is good and the look can only get better overtime.

I really wanted to like this bag. It was plenty big for my laptop and stuff I like to carry around. However, when the bag first arrived the smell was overpowering and made my whole house smell like fake leather chemicals. It was bad enough that my housemate left for 2 days to get away from it. It was a week before the smell left the bag enough to not worry about stinking up any room I carried it into.

After only 8 days of use, the zipper for the back pocket broke. Came off the bag completely and there were threads sticking out everywhere. I was able to put the zipper back on but not perfectly and was going to continue to use the bag without using the back pocket.

Then after 10 days of use, I look down to see that the "leather" covering the bottom connection of one of the straps was tearing away from the bag, exposing the connection beneath and that connection looked like it was going to rip apart at any moment. I use my backpack for my computer and that was the strap I use when only using one strap. If it were to break and the bag were to fall, I don't even want to think about the damage it could have done to my computer.

After 11 days, the bag is being returned. I recommend you do not buy this bag, and if this is an indication of the quality of bags made by this company, I'd steer clear.

I very carefully measured my laptop. According to the interior dimensions listed here, my laptop should have fit into this sleeve. It didn't. Aside from that annoyance, the sleeve was fine. It appeared reasonably well made, and the smell was not unbearable. I returned it due to the size issue, but I assume the faint smell would dissipate in a few days.

The only thing that would have been nice is for it to have a little more room for me to put a charger. I guess thats why people get actual computer bags. Really, thats not even that big of a deal, I just put it in my purse whenever I need it. Overall, like I said, simple but good.

This is a durable mini backpack, that's a great deal for the price.

It has a little hologram design on the picture, which is okay but not needed. The constuction is solid, so if you need a mini backpack for whatever reason you can't go wrong unless you hate Mario for whatever reason, but who hates Mario? Even Sonic the Hedgehog made his peace with Mario and has appeared in several mediocre games with him.

This is a great backpack that looks better in person. It has a sheen to it that makes it look great. Very durable and my kid loves it!

Update.....2 months later of light use and zipper is broken.

I bought this backpack and love the size and compartments. The problem, and it's a big one, is that the straps really have no padding. Put anything in the bag and carry it for a long distance and my shoulder is killing me. Poor design on the straps.....Think twice about this bag unless you wear padded shoulders.

Topeak Air 2Core BackPack

This is an incredible, awesome backpack. Read the features and you will be amazed how many things Topeak got right in terms of design. I am using it for my road biking.

What's great:

1. The air core it works. The air chambers embedded in the bag hug you comfortably and at times, you even forget the bag is there. Additionally, to me, the Air Core may have a hidden safety feature. Think of the backpack as an inflatable jacket. If you fall, it will be an additional layer of protection to cushion the impact and perhaps protects the spine. In all fairness, falling on your back on a bike is probably rare. Note that this is NOT an advertised feature and Topeak makes no such claim at all but having an inflatable backpack behind your back is logically a better option than a T-shirt plus bare skin?

2. The pockets and multiple compartments just make sense.

3. The helmet carrier, that is deployable, is a stroke of genius.

4. Lightweight

What are unknown:

1. I have not tested its ability to keep the contents dry. Is the material water proof or at least water resistant? Do I need to deploy the rain shield during a light shower?

2. The backpack has a deployable rain shield at the bottom of the pack and I need to test it under real conditions i.e. when it rains heavily.

3. Is the backpack durable?

What's not so great?

I wish it is an all black pack. And I get to decide the color of the zip which is yellow right now. It looks good if you adopt the Livestrong's Yellow and Black color scheme. But I am atom splitting here to find fault with a very well designed backpack.

The design function of the case is fine, but I felt for the cost I wasn't getting good value. The case is very cheap and flimsy. I do not expect it to last long under continuous use.

Hard to tell from pictures but was looking for the one that had a bit more grey this one is just all black. Model numbers did not help finding the version with more of a grey center.

Looks great still, if its like my last one they last a few years before they start falling apart, start to get sloppy at the hinge and expansion areas. Even though it was never overloaded.
