It's perfect for my laptop and titbits.

Embassy 23" Leather Backpack

Embassy 23' Leather BackpackThis backpack had lots of room but fell apart from the bottom. My daughter is in 7th grade and has a lot of homework, I needed something big and sturdy, but only got the big part. The leather on the bottom gets scraped off, should be reinforced. The wheels are really loud. Would not purchase again.

The leather backpack is soft, large, lots of room for all you need to carry.

It rolls great and the wheels are sturdy. It is very well made.

You just could not do any better then this one.

The last one I had lasted six years, with very rough treatment.

I loved it so much, that I had to get another one.

Look no further, this is the best of it's kind

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who is going back to school. He loved it and said it has a lot of compartments which he really likes. It is well made and the fact that it can roll and has a telescoping handle means he is gonna use it for a carry on when he flies too.

Lassig City Shopper Bag

Lassig Casual City Shopper Diaper Bag Colorpatch ,petrolOk let's just start by saying I have had ALOT of diaper bags! I have three boys and have went through probably 15 with the first two. I wish I would have bought this first! I would have saved lots of money.

Pros: very roomy! It has the hooks that attach to the stroller. LOTS of pockets!

The color is also beautiful!

Cons: known for me

I wish they made more matching accessories!

Highly recommend

Excellent quality and very practical fabric holds up well in the rain, is very attractive and has numerous pockets and zippers.

Amy Butler Abina Oversized Tote

Amy Butler for Kalencom Abina Tote Dancing UmbrellasThis bag is not only good to look at it is one heck of a carry on. The zippered compartments are just right in number so there is minimal searching. Over all it is a well thought out, well made bag.

This bag is very pretty. Good quality materials, well made, nice design, fabric is pretty. But I sent it back. Why? Because it reminded me too much of a diaper bag. If you want it for a diaper bag then it's five stars for sure, I just don't want to go around looking like a mommy when my daughter is already grown.

Olive Green Heavyweight Military Inspired Messenger Bag

Olive Green Heavyweight Military Inspired Messenger Bag
  • Heavy Duty Canvas Material
  • Shoulder Strap
  • 4 Zippered Pockets
  • 2 Additional end pockets w/ snapping closure
  • 15 inches x 5 inches x 11 inches

I bought this bag as an alternative to a backpack. The construction and quality of the bag is good and the design is also above avg as there are many compartments and pockets to store notebooks, a laptop (there is no padding), water bottle, etc. Probably the only fault I can find with this bag is that the shoulder strap is not padded. therefore, it tends to bite into your shoulder if you put too much in it. Otherwise, a good purchase. The Hat Shoppe provided good communication and quickly shipped this bag. The bag is as described on Amazon.

J World Sweet Kids Rolling Backpack (Kids ages 5-9)

J World Sweet Kids Rolling BackpackGood looking pack with good design with pockets for books, pencil case, snacks, etc. Well built and my daughter likes it.

Purchased this pack for my 7 yr old in 2nd grade. Rolls nicely, handle was durable, overall great bag... The only 2 complaints I can think of would be that it is a bit small inside due to the handle taking up the back of the bag space...So, if you have a lot of books and stuff you need to pack, probably not the best bag...good for a young kid who might have a binder and a book to take....My son used it after school was out for the summer for toys and traveling and overpacked it and ripped the lining from the main pocket to the front pocket...So, not the best bag for a lot of gear...2nd complaint is the backpack straps sometimes get tangled up in the wheels and get dirty from hanging...That can obviously be fixed with a little care, but to be noted...Overall I would def recommend this bag for ages 7 to around 10...saying 7 because it is a bit heavy for a 5 or 6 yr old I think...unless you have a big kid..and saying not over 10 because I think by 10 they have too many books lol...

Busy Breathers Oxygen Carrying Backpack

Busy Breathers Oxygen Carrying BackpackI purchased this backpack (through a different website) after purchasing "Oxygen Cylinder Backpack Bag M6/M9 Cylinders" and having a strap on that item tear off after 3 uses. I have had the Busy Breather's bag for over 2 months and use it daily for an 8 hour shift at work. There have been absolutely no problems with it. The straps are sturdy, highly adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes and the inside area for the tank holds it securely when adjusted with the toggle. The chest strap is in a good position so the user does not feel they are being choked while using it. The extra storage is helpful in that I do not have to carry the backpack and a purse.

I wish the bag had a grommet opening for the cannula in each side of the bag to allow for personal preference for which side one wants the tubing to come from. I also really wish it was a product that was made in USA. I only gave it 4 stars because it is made in china.

I recommend this bag.

K-Cliffs Gray w/ Black Outdoor Backpack Sports Backpack Hiking Backpack School Backpack

K-Cliffs Gray w/ Black Outdoor Backpack Sports Backpack Hiking Backpack School Backpackmy son is in high school, and refuses to use a locker. this means he carries everything with him. so we go through a lot of book bags. this is the first one that holds all his stuff. i'm still amazed.

I bought this for a vacation when my old backpack died, I spent a couple hours researching inexpensive, Amazon Prime-eligible backpacks and finally settled on this one despite its lack of a laptop compartment. The bag arrived just in time and held WAY more than I was expecting, I've used it exactly 1 week to this day, and so far it's done very right by me.

Lots of pockets, sections, little places for pens and what have you, the design has a lot of variety which means versatility. The top handle does its job fine, the main straps have plenty of length for my large, 6-foot frame, and the adjustment slider-lock-things never gave up an inch I hate sliders that fail. Comfort was fine even on 1 shoulder. The main compartment is cavernous, and the use of adjustable side-snaps to contain the upper part of the main compartment goes a long way to rein in floppiness. The mesh water bottle pocket on the side is a bit large for the little 500ml waters I usually buy, they were loose but never slid out. Build quality for what I paid is downright decent no loose threads or thin panels or dead zippers or poorly-stitched sections everything was nice.

This is not an ideal bag for a netbook or an ipad or any medium-small device without secondary protection, they will bounce around inside, the bag is too big for that sort of thing, and the smaller pockets while considerable are too small for something like that. But MP3 players, phones, digital recorders, 6" tablets and e-book readers, that sort of thing, there's a nearly endless supply of storage for that, and while I haven't used it yet, the cord pass-through port on the upper right leads to a clear-fronted hanging pouch at the top of the main compartment not a new concept perhaps, but a welcome additional level of versatility. The number of places to put things can be overwhelming, but if you plan out your packing based on priority the way I do, you'll appreciate the ability to have quick sections on the front that just zip straight for notepads and pencils, and curved zip pockets behind them which hold so much more before even getting into the main compartment. Or, if you're in a rush, you can just dump stuff in the 2 larger front compartments and still have enough room to rummage through those sections later when you have time.

In terms of looks, the pictures are mostly accurate mine doesn't have the red circle dealies, but the rest is true. However, I agree with the other reviewer who said the photos really don't convey the quality, it doesn't look cheap or thin in real life, the back is padded, the gray isn't tacky, the mesh is tight. I had it next to a friend's backpack that was similar in coloring and cost around 5x as much as I paid, and he was constantly mistaking my bag for his.

My review cannot yet speak to the longevity of this backpack since I've only had it 1 week, but I don't get the sense that it's going to fail me. Yet even if it did, at this price I'd happily buy another of it.

I need a big backpack for nursing school and I'm way too cheap to buy the roll around luggage that is so popular amongst the overburdened. This backpack is the deepest I could find for the price. It's big enough for my needs and has lots of pockets, which I love. I though the picture was ugly, but the backpack is much better looking in real life. The material is not as cheap as I thought it would be and it seems to be a solid construction. All in all this was a great buy.

I have had a hard time keeping my teenager with a backpack that takes the pounding he gives his. One that doesn't have a zipper come undone and one that has better sewing at the corners! This fills these requirements. He has used it for a couple of months now and I have high hopes it will last another seven months, maybe more!

Have had this product for a little bit and it hasn't let me down! Great product, especially for the price. Holds my 15" laptop, my smaller art supplies, doesn't add weight, has lots of pockets. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a built-in laptop sleeve, but I'm not going to be picky because of the price and the fact that in general the bag is great. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend, and fellow students.

Yo Gabba Gabba Rolling Backpack - Toddler Size

Yo Gabba Gabba Rolling Backpack - Toddler SizeI bought this backpack as a 2 years birthday gift and it is awesome!! colors are so bright, well ,manufactured. This is a toddlers size backpack though I wish it would be a little bigger for the years to come!

If your kid is a Yo gabba gabba fan so you must have it!

I am so tired of the same local stores. Walmart and other Supercenter stores has put many of my favorite shops out of business. But, their toy area is limited especially when I am looking for something specific. So here I am again searching Amazing Amazon! I found my Grandsons favorite theme for a variety of items. Found exactly what I think he will enjoy and a few other items to include in this bag. Delivered on-time and looks like it can withstand my rugged, heavy duty 3 year old.

We got this backpack for my 2 year old for traveling. The zipper on the front frequently gets stuck but other than that we like the backpack. It's not the most durable thing we ever purchased but he is probably going to done with Gabba before the backpack breaks so I would say it was a good purchase. :)

My daughter is two and a half and LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba. She watches it a lot so when I saw this backpack I knew she'd love it. She drags it around the house stuffing her toys in it and it was great for putting her daily toys in it when she goes to visit Nana. In hindsight I wished I had bought the non rolling backpack because she doesn't want to wear it on her back and would rather drag it around but since she isn't going to school yet that's not a deal breaker.

OGIO Rage Street Duffel

Ogio Rage Duffle BagThis has been the best bag! I had looked for a good bag for six months and took a chance and pre-ordered this bag. It is good sized and made well. I like the moisture protected pocket for the wet stuff. I use this for trips to the gym, I generally exercise prior to going to work in the AM, so I needed a bag that could hold a lot. It's a great overnight bag too.

I like this bag so much, that I purchased a second for my kid's snow gear. I am able to put two kids ski boots and two helmets in one bag. i also put their gloves and other items in the end pockets. It keeps everything together for me. Very lightweight and durable. Ogio makes great products.

Ogio makes the best bags in my opinion, I've had the same one that I use for the gym for the last 4 years, and don't plan, or need to replace it any time soon. This bag is one of there larger bags, perfect for sparring gear, or other sports that require more equiptment.

First I want to say that I love this bag. The reflective borders are nice, like the clean black look, and the hardware is nice and heavy. Also, the shoe compartment is awesome, seeing the dirt left in it made me realize how dirty my shoes really got.

But there is a downside. On the opposite side of the shoe compartment is a shallow side pocket. I like the extra pocket but the inner wall seems to get pulled on and ended up ripping the top of it (only noticed from the inside). I have not asked for a replacement because I can see this just happening again, so instead im going to try to patch it so that it will be alittle loose instead of tighting and getting tugged on.

But besides that im happy with the purchase.

I love this bag! It's much bigger than I expected (even though they provided dimensions).

It's a solid build and can carry a good bit of weight in it. I also packed it pretty tight and zippers remained solid.

Thermos Foogo Backpack Diaper Bag, Poppy Patch

Thermos Foogo Backpack Diaper Bag, Poppy PatchSo far I really like this bag! The only thing I would change would be adding one divider in the bag. Since it's so big, things can get a little lost in the main section without something to separate your stuff. It is big enough to fit everything I need, and I have 3 kids in diapers: newborn, 15 months, and 2 1/2. I have plenty of diapers and wipes, extra clothes, receiving blanket, food, water bottles, small coloring books, my wallet, and a bunch of odds and ends. It's not too heavy to carry even with all their stuff and is comfortable.

The only thing wrong with this diaper bag is that I didn't know about it sooner and that I have never seen it sold in stores! Seriously, it's compact but fits everything. There are many little pockets inside to hold all the little baby things you need securely. I like the material because it does not stain easy. The straps are comfortable and the right length. The side pockets meant for bottles and sipppy cups actual hold the bottle and sippy cups without slipping out like most of my diaper bags. The pack also stands up by itself which is so handy when you are changing a one year old because you dont have to dig through everything. The changing pad that comes with is a little small if you have a toddler but you can easily pick up a bigger one if needed. I am so happy to have this now and not have a bulky bag hanging off my shoulder all the time!

Buy Thermos Foogo Backpack Diaper Bag, Poppy Patch Now

First yes I would recommend it, secondly I choose this item because I wanted equal weight on my shoulders and because I carry my lil one in his carrier and wanted to be able to switch sides without the hassle of a shoulder/messenger style diaper bag...It holds everything and more for the little one and for my stuff. I use the front and side pockets for my items. I breastfeed so I don't have bottles and formula but this bag is still good for a person that formula feeds. Its cute too!!!

I have 4 diaper bags and this is my favortie! I bought it for a plane trip and I now use it everyday! I LOVE THIS bag and it has replaced bags that were 5 times the price. I can take everything I need and then some! The front pocket is awesome to hold all of my personal belongings so I don't need to use a purse. I highly recommend!

Want Thermos Foogo Backpack Diaper Bag, Poppy Patch Discount?

This is a large bag, too large for everyday use. The interior is black, which I hate, because it is hard to see and find things. The overall construction is not very sturdy. It appears that if you stuff the bag to full capacity as a diaper bag, the bag may break soon.

The bag has 2 very large exterior bottle pockets, each can probably hold 2 water bottles. One large zippered compartment with 3 pockets inside and one large slip pocket right at the front. Interior: 2 mesh pockets, 2 side bottle pockets, 2 slip pockets, and 1 zippered pocket. Great that this bag has many pockets inside and out.

But...please manufacturer... no black linings inside a diaper bag. Eyes get very tired searching for things. Also, the exterior front slip pocket should be zippered, with slip pockets inside for cell phone, etc. Moms don't want to open the large main compartment just to access cell phone which could happen several times in an hour.

To me, this bag could be a good bag for picnic.

Transworld Mesh Backpack - Orange

Transworld Mesh Backpack - Orangemost JHS and SHS require mesh bags nowadays and the cheap ones last about 3-5 months before ripping this one however seems more durable. wasn't as big as I expected but it serves its purpose plus the kid has a taste for orange colored things right now.

What i didn't like :

Bag wasn't as solid orange as the orange in the picture.

When i got the bag, there was already a rip in the bag.

After a few weeks, the bag started ripping at the bottom sides and the front pocket as well.

IT has no shape so it's lumpy and sometimes annoying to carry on back.

It was so hard to close this bookbag and to put things in this bag.

Constantly have to fix my things inside because they would constantly move around.

Edit :

I forgot to say that even though i only put a binder and 1-2 composition books in it, it was still breaking. Can't really handle much.

AmeriLeather Jumbo Leather Backpacki brought this backpack for my 10 going on 20 year old daughter. It was very spacious good looking as well as sturdy. a real great value for the price. has lots of compartments for additional items like rulers calculators cell phones etc

I bought this backpack and love the size and compartments. The problem, and it's a big one, is that the straps really have no padding. Osprey Daylite Backpack

Osprey Daylite Backpack, Fern Green, One SizeI bought this for a day hike in the Grand Canyon, I needed something on the smaller side. It is great, and I'm very happy with the purchase. It has lots of nice pockets and places to store things. Has a spot for a camelback as well, although I don't have one so haven't used that yet. The zippers are high quality and easy to use. It's super lightweight and compact but you can also stuff more things in there than you would expect at first. I've only had it a short while, but it seems like it will be durable. And Osprey has a lifetime guarantee, so if anything goes wrong with it ever you can send it back for a new one.

I bought this for my wife for our trip to Amsterdam. Though at first she was reluctant at using a backpack, she ended up using the Osprey backpack every day. The size is perfect for stuffing a pair of gloves/hat/maps etc. and even large enough to hold a jacket when visiting a museum. The pack was very comfortable with many adjustments. At times, she forgot she even had it on!

Aqua-Quest 'Mariner' Waterproof Backpack Dry Bag Day Pack - 10 L - Green Model

Aqua-Quest 'Mariner' Waterproof Backpack Dry Bag Day Pack - 10 L - Green ModelFantastic bag that will fulfill a multitude of uses. I've already used it, and I'll get to that in a minute, but here's what it is in a nutshell: very solidly built dry bag that you can wear as backpack if you want. A dry bag is a waterproof bag, and as such it should float in the water (when properly sealed and secured). This does that superbly. Having said that, it isn't the most comfortable backpack around--there are others that are more comfortable, and some of them are also made by Aqua-Quest. But this is the smallest legitimate dry bag in backpack form that I have found and it rocks!

I wanted to do the following this summer of 2012 in MN: Run 5+ miles to a lake, swim across it, and then run back (and other permutations of this idea, like wilderness running and adventure racing). Thus, I was looking for smaller sized bag. I was specifically looking for a bag that I could put onto my back nearly empty, and then put my shoes and electronics (phone, headphones, etc) into and have a dry pair of socks already in there so that when I swam across and came out on the other side I could put on dry socks and not drenched running shoes again. On top of that, I wanted something that would also serve as a floatation device for added safety.

N.B. I can in no way endorse you doing this same activity nor trusting anything to keep you afloat in an emergency that isn't a Type III or better PFD, so be aware. There, I said it, let's continue the awesomeness.

I have "tested" it by putting my Droid RAZR, sunscreen, wallet, car keys, dry t-shirt, flashlight, Magellan eXplorist 400, and dry Sea to Summit Tek Towel (the large size) into the bag and sealing it. Then, I went a 6 mile canoe trip, dropping it into the water several times and it stayed secure and dry inside, and floated. Then, when finshed, I took off my life jacket and took the dry bag and swam to the middle of a mid-sized lake and it served admirably as a Type IV (Throwable Device) PFD while I swam and treaded water for the next 40 mins. I held onto the bag with the side carry handle, wore it like a backpack both on my back and front while in the water, but found it most comfortable just hugging it tighly and floating on it (I weigh 160 lbs.), like you might to a boat seat cushion or thrown life preserver ring. I was very comfortable also resting my head on it and performing the side stroke. Then I swam back into the shore and got out and took off my drenched technical t-shirt and took the cotton one out of the dry bag and put it on and then took out the towel and used it to dry off. All of my electronics were perfectly fine.

Note: it isn't the easiest thing for quick access to your gear--but that's how it is able to maintain a waterproof seal. The smaller size makes accessing the bottom of the bag easier than on a larger model, especially when filled, I would imagine.

Note: when you open a bag that has been floating vigorously in water for 40 mins, you may have some water drops find their way inside even when you are careful. Also, don't plan on trying to open it if you are in the water with it--hands off! You'll compromise its seal and might even fill it with water! You must only ever access what's within it from inside your boat or on land.

Definitely fit the bill for what I was looking for exactly! You aren't looking for a Dry Bag/Backpack that is totally waterproof you say, but instead want a larger, more comfortable water-resistant backpack? Then, you may want to look elsewhere. But, this thing is solidly built and might be the best purchase of my summer. We'll see how it stands up to both intense UV and also getting trashed by wilderness running later this year. I also plan to take it snowshoeing over the winter since it will obviously keep everything completely dry.

Why I bought this? I was specifically looking for something small and light but large enough for my shoes and and electronics and totally waterproof and able to handle my adventure racing scenario outlined above. 10 Liters was/is the perfect size for what I wanted. Anything bigger and it would only weigh more and be more unwieldy. This is a perfect Waterproof Dry Bag, that also has good carrying options with the dedicated side carrying handle, the "handle" created by the closure, with those sweet lash point-able D rings (seriously awesome for making this bag even more versatile). You can even wear this thing over your life jacket while you portage your canoe! I would've liked some option to attach the shoulder straps to each other across your chest, but it isn't something I cannot do simply with a 6-inch piece of velcro.

Check back for my updates later this year. Thanks!--JW

P.S. I even love the green color of the 10L model!

(...)

The day will come when you have some really essential clothing, electronics, cameras, paperwork, etc., that must never get wet. Perhaps, like me, you have several backpacks used for special purposes but none that could deal with the thunderstorm from hell or with your kid tossing it into the pool to use as a rubber ducky.

Everybody who roughs it should have one of these because someday it will get rougher and wetter. Anyhow, it will not only keep water OUT, it will keep water IN. Suppose you wanted to carry a couple of gallons or 8 liters or so back to the campsite without dislocating an arm lugging a bucket? This will do it but dealing with a rubbery water taste is another problem.

Maybe you could fill this with water and put it in the sun. It would heat the water quickly (an hour or two) and maybe you could figure out a way to use a siphon tube and a spray head to take a shower with that warm water.

Just a few things that come to mind over and above the usual uses. Think up your own for this tough, versatile waterproof backpack.

Thick material, quality feel, and it simply does what it purports to do. I think items like theses are always a bit questionable in terms of quality and feel when view them online. Based on the reviews and my history with Aqua-Quest products I gave it a try, and I am happy that I did.

It took a while to get here, but well worth the wait. The bag is exactly what I wanted to carry my rain gear while bicycling in the rainy NW. The 10L size is perfect! It easily fits all of my rain gear...jacket, pants, shorts, gloves...and it still has room for some other stuff. The bag is very well made and, since it doesn't ride high on your back, there is no neck interference while on the bike. I'll also use the bag for day hiking and kayaking. Great product.
