This laptop sleeve keeps my macbook pro secure and as an added bonus, it's roomy enough to carry the charger back & forth from work. In the past, the sleeves I've gotten for other devices are too snug and you have to fight with them to fit the device by itself. This one isn't overly spacious, but the material has some give.

This bag perfectly holds my macbook pro 15" retina, charger, ipad in rather thick case, two wallets in front compartment and leaving enough space for lots of other another not so big not too thick things.

If you don't carry laptop inside there is a decent space near the back.

Overall I like minimalistic styling of the bag looks good on any occasion, compartments for both laptop and tablet, nice build quality.

One improvement I'd like to see it stiffer flap button or magnetic closure, as of now it tends to open sometimes when bag is tightly packed.

I've tried quite a few laptop bags ant this is one of the few that isn't bulky, but has enough space to carry my 15' MacBook Pro and iPad.

The supply doesn't add to much bulk. The full length zipper pocket under the flap is helpful for odd's and end.

My only gripe is with the inside pockets that are too loose and not deep enough to hold or organize things.

Anything you put in them will fall out, so they're relatively useless.

I've had the bag for about 2 months now and so far the Heathered material doesn't show any serious wear.

Overall I like that's it's stylish and functional.

I liked that the two zippers go down the side far enough that you can zip the laptop up while its charging without a problem. It's also well made.

The only issue is that it is not as snug around the laptop as I would like. It says its for a 14" laptop, but it seems like it would better fit a 15"

First: to counter the broken heart of the long one star review here. He should learn to read before he buys. To wit: He bought a 'cable bag' from Dave's deals, which clearly states, basically, 'as is' (but can be returned.) Second: The site description clearly states that the 'cable' may not match the bag color. Agreed, it sounds simple to fix, but there must be a reason for the policy, or they would not have stated it in their product description. Their product descriptions are very accurate, and customer support is second to none.......OK, now the Front Pocket Backpack. I bought the, new model, large. The only difference is it is 17" tall, as apposed to 14" on the medium. The bag is OUTSTANDING in quality, craftsmanship, and utility. I'm 65yrs, 6', 200lbs, and have walked to town, 14 mile round trip, with the pack fully loaded, three times (the first two times the bag weighed 30lbs.) The bag is fitting like a glove the more it breaks in. On the third trip to town, loaded fully as though camping, I threw in an extra 15lbs of lead shot bags from my diving weight belt. The bag, at 53lbs (ridiculous I know, but I wanted to really test myself and the bag,) felt comfortable, riding well on my back. I have to say the bag did better than I the last three miles or so. OK, OK, been a long winter at 8,300ft and I'm just getting into shape. One thing to note, it did get hot between my back and the bag.......I wish I had this bag decades ago. It's an investment, sure, but it will pay dividends in the years to come. The bag is a bit heavy, but was easy for me to get used to. I've been using Jandd, Ultimate Directions, and a Gregory, of similar capacity, for thirty years. I doubt if I will ever use them again. Not only will you have a lifetime of use with this bag, you'll be the classiest person out there. It gets folks talking to you, as they recognize the quality from a distance. The fear of the price will quickly be overcome by the smell, quality, looks, and the creaking of the leather, of this functional piece of art.

I fell in love with Saddleback Leather a few years ago. Back then I had acquired their Duffle Bag, Messenger Bag, and Travel Case all in Tobacco Brown. I was targeting their Classic Backpack next but since they didn't return my call :(, I aborted mission and moved on to something else.

Then recently I came across this new Saddleback Front Pocket Backpack on Amazon and I fell in love with Saddleback Leather all over again. I forgave SL for neglecting me in the past and bought the FP Backpack in DK Coffee Brown here on Amazon. It is absolutely gorgeous! I love it so much that I decided to buy another one at full price in Tobacco directly at Saddleback Website to match my other SL Tobacco bags. Being a shopaholic, I ended up spending around $2000 on SL products in the last two months bringing my total investment to around $3000 for a total of 17 SL products. Yes, 17! Why? Being torn between DK Coffee Brown & Tobacco, I decided to get basically two of everything-DK Coffee for work & Tobacco for travel.

Being so in love with SL. I gladly accepted whatever they sent me. Some items I purchased through SL Dave's Deals were "imperfect" with blemishes, scars, etc. But I didn't mind since I myself put inevitable marks on them through daily usage. Then came the Cable Bag... The bag that broke my heart. I had already acquired the Cable Bag in Tobacco and I was so looking forward to the DK Coffee Brown Cable Bag with Tobacco tie wrap, visualizing how awesome my white Nikon 1 J1 camera would look in it.

Unfortunately, my DK Coffee Cable Bag did NOT come with the Tobacco tie wrap as depicted in the photo on their website. Instead it came with matching DK Coffee Brown tie wrap. It didn't look bad but it didn't look cool... So I emailed SL customer support requesting if they would kindly throw in a Tobacco tie wrap along with the Bible Cover that I had ordered that morning. I didn't want to go through the trouble of shipping the bag back just because of the color of the wrap. I really thought it was a simple request, no big deal. I didn't care if they wanted to charge me for it.

Guess what? The guy responded that I could ship the item back free of shipping charge and reorder the same item, It'd be "a roll of the dice" and HOPEFULLY I'll get the color scheme that I want. Say what? Give you more of my hard-earned money & HOPEFULLY I'll get the color I desire? REALLY? It's like ordering a dog with blond hair & end up getting a brunette. But don't worry, keep on ordering until the blond shows up. REALLY? It's shocking that they can't control what goes out to their customers. I understand Dave's Deals have imperfections. But there's a big difference between "IMPERFECTIONS" VS "MISREPRESENTATION". Every photo everywhere shows the DK Coffee Brown Cable Bag comes with a free Tobacco tie wrap. He said they don't have extra wraps. He can't guarantee I'll get one with Tobacco wrap. He can't take a Tobacco wrap from another bag... Blah Blah Blah...REALLY?

If they can't simple send me a tie wrap cable, it makes you wonder what's the value of their 100-year warranty? They are so PETTY, INFLEXIBLE, & STINGY. They're not willing and/or able to switch out a tie wrap that's advertised as "FREE" for a valued customer, then how can you trust them to possibly honor their 100-year warranty on any of their products for anybody???

The whole "Cable Bag" incident is absurd & ridiculous beyond comprehension. I don't think I was asking too much from them. So in all fairness, most of their products overall deserve 5 stars for looks & workmanship, 3 stars for practicality, but they get 1 star for customer support. Like any relationship, no matter how much you're in love, you should leave if you're not being treated right.

I wish SL had made a U-turn when they had the chance to right the situation, instead they made a DETOUR by sending in another customer support rep to contact me.... Again, blah blah blah... a lot of sweet nothings that get you nowhere. Apparently common sense is not so common.

I'm making my U-Turn now. I may be a shopaholic but I know better than to stay in an abusive relationship. This is SADLY the absolute end of my love affair with Saddleback Leather. Thank goodness they showed their true colors before I started to load up on their luggage line. Some big companies think they're too large to fail and some small companies think they're too little to care...

The Case Logic UNS-114 14-Inch Laptop/Mac Book Air Sleeve is just what I was looking for to protect my new MacBook Pro 13.3 inch laptop. The case fits my MacBook Pro 13" laptop well, with a little bit of wiggle room. The padding is more substantial than my previous neoprene sleeve, but it is not a hard case and it will not protect your laptop from hard falls. Surprisingly, it doesn't add very much weight to my backpack despite being slightly larger than my previous sleeve. For the price point, this is what I expected and needed. I typically carry my laptop in a backpack and I wanted a little more padding and protection from scratches. The only complaint I have is that the small pocket in front has a very small, hard to use zipper. Since the seam is so tight on the pocket, I worry that the zipper will fail prematurely, since you have to pull it quite hard to close it, and the zipper itself has a very small, flimsy pull. Other than that, I am happy with the sleeve.

High Sierra 4-Inch Cargo Duffel Cargo Duffel

I purchased this duffel as a gift for my boyfriend. I was super nervous when I ordered because there were only a few ratings, and they were not very positive. Turns out, it was not a problem.

I have not personally used the bag, but boyfriend loves it! He loves that all of the compartments zip off, and that they are very easy to use. It comes with so many doo-dads, I don't even know how it works, but he really enjoys it. He travels casually about once a month and needs a duffel to carry clothes, shoes, toiletries, but nothing like suits or ties. He says it fits his needs perfectly, and the only thing he would improve would be more padding/pockets in the backpack.

This is a very affordable, good quality gift for someone who needs a casual traveling bag. I would never buy this bag for myself (instructions are not straightforward and nonexistant, no pockets for personal items like pads or jewelry, high heels might puncture bag material, zippers are somewhat difficult to grasp with nails), but it seems great for the guy in my life.

After a lot of web research, we decided to buy this bag for our upcoming summer trip to Italy. We didn't want to take our NorthFaces Expedition (too heavy) or our Samsonite 4 weels (too bulk). We wanted a duffel that could hold it all with a maximum of adaptability. Well, this duffel is as beautiful as expected and the design is unique and versatile. The quality, however, is poor (simple stated). The material is very tiny. The zippers, except from the one at the top of the bag, are small and look quite weak (don't know how long they will last). The details are bad, with lots of small sewing errors. The handles, also, do not appear to be strongly connected to the bag (really don't think they will hold a lot of weight). Anyway, may be I am too much biased by the quality of Samsonite, TheNorthFace and Musto. I was expecting the same here. It is not. If you want REAL quality luggage, this is not one.

I love the idea for the duffle bag, but they REALLY need to work on the quality of the materials! The main material is very light, thin, and cheap feeling and is not waterproof. After one use, one of the side zippers started separating. The bag is also not as large as expected, due to the fact that it is divided into the 3 sections, it takes away from the capacity. I had planned to take it on a trip, but I doubt if it would survive the flight since we all know how 'careful' baggage handlers are with luggage!

Baggallini Urban Backpack

Well, maybe you are the type of person who buys a bag for every occasion and you don't need your bag to last very long, but I am not that wealthy. I wear a back pack purse everyday to work or play and I need it to last at least six months. This bag is wearing out. The fabric on the bottom corners is frayed and you can now see the white liner showing through. Also the zippers seldom stay closed at the bottom of the bag. The bottom of the zippers usually rip open on their own about an inch from the bottom. There is an inner lining that keeps things from falling out, but it is annoying. It is light weight which is great, but I am not happy that it is wearing out so quickly.

This is a great bag but before you buy make sure you understand that the interior is SMALL. It won't hold a wallet you have to empty your wallet into the spaces it provides. It will only hold flat things and maybe a small makeup case or something of that nature. Great bag for travel but not for everyday use. Unless you have nothing but flat things. :) However it has the excellently cool feature of the zippered strap it can be zippered and sling over the shoulder or unzip and be a backpack. very cool.

Unfortunately, it was not as spacious as I'd imagined it would be, given the physical description. Length and height were just right, but depth was lacking. I bought this bag to use on a five week trip to FL. I wanted a bag that looked good enough for any occasion but converted to a backpack when I was more active. This bag was great except when I warmed up and began perspiring, the dye from the zipper rubbed off on my clothing. I do like the security of the zippers and the magnetic clasp at the top. Be careful though...I laid my bag down to put on my jacket on a restaurant table where we had just ate dinner. I was very surprised when we got back to the room and I found a fork stuck to the front of my bag! The magnetic clasp is very strong!

I ordered this cover for my Sony Vaio E Series. The laptop measures approximately 35X24 cm. This sleeve measures 34.5X26.5cm. Although the description states 15/16 inch, the packaging clearly states 14"/#353. I can get the laptop in the bag but it is short. The flap will close but it's a struggle and doesn't lay flat when closed. I know if it's this much trouble to close, I won't use it for long. According to the Duragadget website, this sleeve is available in many sizes. They list this size as 14" (36.25X27.5 cm.) As stated before, I found the actual product smaller at 34.5 X 26.5. I plan to order the 16" (38.75 X 28.5 cm)/#355. It looks like it will fit the best given the product dimensions plus a little room for error. I would order it directly from Duragadget but they are located in the UK and I don't want to wait that long. I'm addicted to Prime shipping now. So I will continue to try to figure out which is the #355 here on Amazon. I'll update this review when I get it and verify it fits.

Sleek, well-built, and holds everything! I was looking for a backpack to hold my ipad and this holds it in a dedicated pocket in the back. Yes, it holds my ipad, but it holds SO MUCH MORE! Pebbled Leather Backpack Style Purse with Lots of Pockets

I searched to find this purse. The style is exactly what I was looking for. My go to bag for vacation has been a brown leather backpack style purse for the past 15 years. I searched and found this deep brown purse with zippers and straps and pockets! yeah! It arrived yesterday and I don't love it. I was very disappointed by the color, we are leaving for vacation in a few days and I'm tempted to return this, but I'm torn. The style is exactly as pictured, but the color is sooooo not what I expected, and not my personal style at all. The purse I received is a light brown kinda taupe color. ahhhgg! I will photograph and post so everyone can decide if this is right for them.

I bought this to replace a similar style bag that was a Prada knock off purchased on a trip to Bahama. The bag I replaced was made of vinyl but lasted well for 3 years and I received lots of compliments on it all the same. I was happy to find this similar style bag online as I really liked the security of the way the bag closed and it works well as a shoulder bag or backpack. I was torn between the black and brown version so I ordered both. I wanted to see them in person. I selected the brown over the black because the feel of the leather was softer and I found the white stitching against the black leather too much of a contrast. The body of the bag is leather but the straps are vinyl. This was the case for both colors. The brown bag has more of an odor than the black but I did not find it offensive enough to place outside or in the garage. I am sure it will be hardly noticeable in a couple weeks. I guess my sense of smell is not as keen as some others who purchased this same item. I would tend to agree that the odor comes from poor quality dye. I will also agree with other posts that the lining is of very poor quality nylon almost plastic feeling. I too am crafty so I am sure I can replace it if need be. Overall this is fair quality for the price. If you are looking for a great quality item spend the money and go with a designer bag. I feel confident that since the overall product is leather I might get a year or two more out of this bag than the vinyl version it replaced. The size of the bag is good but if you are looking for a larger backpack to house notebook computer or iPad this is not a great choice. It would house a Kindle nicely.

First, let me get this out of the way, this is not a designer purse. My wife loves her smaller backpack purse and was always looking for a larger one as the smaller one is bloated with everything she carries in it. She has shopped locally and found it hard to find an affordable one like this purse. Luckily, Amazon as usual, came through along with it's 3rd party sellers.

Let's take a quick look at this purse.

PRO:

The texture of the material is soft. She ordered a different color (dark brown?) for same seller and that material was very hard, to the point that the bottom portion that touches your back when wearing, hits against one's back when wearing. I don't know if it is because of different treatment or processing of the leathers, but the other one was not comfortable.

The zipper for the main center is well thought out. Provides a more secure situation. Too often, other backpack purses have the main zipper that going across like the outside zipper so someone may be able to unzip it without you knowing. This main zipper in the middle is from front of body to back (perpendicular to outside zipper).

Under $30, large enough for many things to be packed inside, affordable.

CON:

The inside lining is cheap. It is acceptable but be careful with anything sharp or has pointed ends.

Is it completely 100% leather? I doubt it. How long will it last? This remains to be seen. So far, she is very happy to find this type of purse. 4 stars, I would give this 5 stars if it had better quality.

Osprey Kode 22 Pack

Got this for lift-service skiing and minor backcountry. Fit's great. Features are well thought out and functional in most cases.

Almost went with more liters, but as of yet, I've never completely filled this pack even with a couple lunches, h2o bottles, extra jacket etc. and survival basics.

Belt pockets are wonderful. Goggle pocket to small for my Dragons. Compression system is pretty good, but a little clunky with some straps running internal and three buckles (L, R, and center) each contributing to the release of the pressure.

I wondered about the larger version with the full size zipper on the backside. Nice idea, but the weight difference was surprisingly big, and I have other packs if I need more space. This sized pack disappears when you wear it, and you can sit comfortably on the lift in most cases.

The avalanche pole pockets are a nice feature for organization, but if they had velcro closing bottoms instead of just open tubes, they could be more functional. Also, one more small exterior pocket with zipper would be nice. I use the top one for my cell, but don't want to toss a knife or other metal in with the phone, yet I want quick access to the knife. Currently it's in a belt pocket, but would rather use that valuable up-front storage for other things.

The zip internal flap pocket is interesting. When compressed, the pocket must flip out in order move stuff in and out of the main pack body. Without releasing the compression, it's nice the pocket flips out of the way. However, if it was designed for that kind of deployment rather than just something that happens (which is what it feels like), then there might be some better design options for Osprey to embrace giving even more cool functionality. Just a thought from a heavy user.

Love the rust color too.

I have used this pack for two winters so far and love it. The hiking I do is mostly off trail in steep rocky mountainousness terrain.

This is a top load pack with two compartments on the top. The compartment next to your back is the largest and also holds the water bladder. The next compartment is lined so you can put wet items in and not get the entire pack wet. Each of these compartments have another small compartment to store small items. I really like the fact that this pack is low profile so it is easy going through the brush or moving around in the steep rocks. It also has more than enough room to store a 3 liter bladder, food for a day hike, extra gloves, jacket and anything else you need on a winter hike.

Another great thing about this pack is the compression straps on the outside. I can easily carry my snowshoes and camera tripod on the outside. These straps are very versatile and can carry just about anything you could want ever want to strap to your pack, including crampons and ice axe.

The craftsmanship in this pack is also awesome. You can tell this thing was meant to last. Plus there is Osprey's great warranty. I have dealt with Ospery's customer service about another old pack that I have and their service can not be beat.

Cons:

Nothing is perfect but I can only think of one thing that I don't like about this pack. The zipper to the lined waterproof compartment concerns me a little. I have not had any problem with it but I feel you have to be careful when you zip it closed.

I have left a lot of the great features out of this review to keep the review short. The bottom line is if you want a great winter day pack for skiing, snowshoeing or whatever you can not go wrong with this pack.

I think Kode22 pocket and may have been enhanced.

I think if you have very good products to include only the company OSPREY luggage has been assumed.

Kode22 luggage is difficult to put into split large size.

I put the tent was difficult.

Microsoft 39309 Queue Laptop Backpack

This backpack gets the job done. Has plenty of room, although I would have liked to have additional dividers, or separate zippered pockets, instead of the one large rear section. I find it comfortable for walking to work and back.
