This case fits my Samsung Chromebook well and keeps it safe when I travel. The only weird thing is the graphic on the cover. I didn't really notice in the picture (although it is clearly shown), but there is a machine gun pointed at the giraffe, and it says "Shoot forbidden." I'm not sure if it's meant to encourage or discourage the slaughter of giraffes. I guess it's all a matter of perception. I myself have decided it means NOT to shoot the giraffe. :) The green background color is really bright and beautiful.

Offers sufficient protection for my laptop, I use it to put my laptop in my backpack when I go to school and my laptop seems to be staying in good condition. And I like the design.

This sleeve fits my Lenovo tablet quite well and the giraffes were quite suitable to my odd tastes. (life's too short to be boring, no?)

The only let down is that both zipper pulls had broken within 2 months of use.

Not bad for the $ paid, but kinda sad that paper clips last longer than the provided hardware.

I'll probably look elsewhere for my next sleeve.

Oakley Men's Ap Pack 3.0 Backpack

Love this bag for a daily carry. I get snickers all the time as my friends think I have a parachute stuffed in there, but for practical purposes, the bag carries what I need, keeps it organized, and looks great. I've had this pack for almost a year and durability doesn't seem like it will ever been an issue. Still looks brand new, still feels as tough as the day I got it. The shoulder straps have broken in to the point that they are very comfortable but still retain the durable feel that they had when I got the pack.

The only request I would have for the designers on this bag would be some straps/loops to attach some things to the exterior of the bag. Laptop compartment fits a 15 inch pc perfectly. Not sure you could squeeze a 17 inch in there.

This pack looks great in images, but for the price it is severely lacking. I recently got it so I can't speak to durability over time, but materials seem so-so. What good is a metal handle if connected by 2 thin strips of nylon? Bag material is okay, but not heavy in any way for padding or elements. The metal clasps are a joke, large springs open to elements/dirt etc. and easily snaggable. The shoulder strap clasps are practically decorative and do not detach the straps which are sewn like 99% of every other bp.

17" laptop sticks up almost 2" past padding so any impact to that upper portion merely has a single layer of material without padding. Padding in laptop compartment isn't great, but to be fair, almost no pack I've found does. If you fill the upper flap areas with any thing rigid you will likely get 'rubbing' on the laptop portion exposed internally.

The real disappointment is the lack of small compartments within the larger ones. Not a pen, 1" or 2" elastic loop or pocket anywhere, so pens, keys, cables, adapters filter to the bottom of whichever larger section they are in. The bottom back does have a key clap, but it is plastic and practically broke just in my finger squeeze. Particularly the largest area just outside the laptop, just stupid not to have any pockets.

This is a really expensive gym clothes backpack. Probably good for day pack for skiing, day at the beach, but in no way is a true utility pack... Completely a 'poser' pack.

For best 17" laptop, lots of compartments, and much sturdier material, stick to the much cheaper, if not as sheik looking, Swissgear IBex backpack.

I looked and compared all backpacks and I found the Oakley to be the best . But for $150 there could be more besides the "name" . Don't get me wrong I love it but I would of ratcheted spent extra $20 on couple other ones I was looking at. When you spend way over $100 on a backpack, you expect it to be PERFECT in every way. Unfortunately, Oakley's quality control is not 'quality' enough for me. I purchased this backpack directly from Oakley's website, and when checking all of the pockets/features that the zipper on the front main pocket was not working properly. After finally getting the zipper to open fully (which took about 3 minutes), I could see lots of fraying of fabric, where the zipper was getting stuck. It seems that the China factory worker found this zipper sticking on the extra fabric inside the pocket, and instead of trimming that extra fabric off, or pulling the item off the assembly table (since it is defective), they left it as-is. Now I have to try and remedy this problem by trimming the extra fabric. I don't think it'll work, since it seems to be a design defect in how the front fabric is sewn together and where they install the zipper.

We purchased this OVERPRICED backpack for my son in September. It seemed like it was nice...fabric is good quality, etc. He is in 2nds grade, and has no textbooks to carry...just some papers and paperback books. The straps on this backpack started to separate from the backpack in December! I didn't expect it to last more than one school year, but it could have made it more than 3 months! I ordered this bookbag for my small child for school. Since the description said, "medium," I was not expecting the bag to be so small and bascially for play, not actual use. He is just starting school, so he would not need anything heavy duty, so I thought that this would cover his needs. As for the quality of the bag, that part looked nice. I did feel that it was rather pricey, considering the size of the bag, though. Unfortunately, I had to send it back because he would not be able to use it at school. I was very pleased with Amazon, too. I submitted my reason for returning the item and there was no cost or hassle to return the item. I would shop with them again. Great bag for the price. Made of canvas and looks to be durable. My only complaint is that the website said the colors were green, blue, and black assorted, but I recieved a red one. My son liked it though. They should list all of the possible colors, if I had gotten a pink one, I would have been very upset.

As all new mothers, I searched a long time before buying my 2nd diaper bag as the 1st one wasn't working out. (my first one was a lower priced skiphop bag)

I bought this bag, although the price was above my budget, because of the large insulation pocket. I recently took this bag out on a day trip and couldn't believe what fitted in there.

In the insulated pocket I had, one 8oz Dr Brown bottle (fits standing up), sippy cup, 2 x 4oz containers with food and one banana + spoons. In the main compartment I had her back up outfit, 5 diapers, wipes, stuffed animal, hoodie, formula dispenser, sunhat, pacifier, bibs. In the mommy pocket, my credit card wallet, 2 sunscreen bottles, cell phone, sunglasses. Through the large item pocket I had a folded receiver blanket.

So yes it does fit a lot and the bag looks very compact, with all of this in there I still had great oversight. The clear pockets in the main compartment and the contrast lining work very well.

Also, my husband doesn't mind carrying this bag at all, that was important to us.

Why not 5 stars, the side pockets with insulation are very small, they fit a small sippy cup well (without the handles) but not very good for a bottle, they aren't high enough.

The smart phone pocket is not wide enough for an iphone and the sunglass pocket is rather small too, my sunglasses don't fit easily. But that is not the reason why I bought the bag, although since it is in there it would be nice to be able to use it. The main reason for the 4 stars is that the shoulder strap is not padded, it would be nice to have little bit of padding on the shoulder strap especially because the bag does carry a lot of items.

Overall, a great bag, worth the money I believe.

I love this diaper bag so much it must have been designed by a mama (or savvy papa) Here is my long list of loves:

-great style: doesn't look like a traditional diaper bag

-lots of great pockets, inside and out, that are easy to open/close

-insulated pockets for bottles/snacks

-easy to wipe out the inside (waterproof type fabric on inside)

-converts easily between messenger, purse and backpack style (huge plus as I go back to work soon and will use it as a backpack when I ride my bike to work and because it looks like a tote and not a silly diaper bag, it will be great for work and travel)

-good size bigger than a regular purse (it has to be to fit all my babe's things) but not so big that it looks silly

So glad I invested in this bag I was dreading buying a diaper bag and I still can't believe how much I love this one!

I purchased this bag for my niece who just started playing basketball for her 4th grade team. I purchased a full sized, 29.5 inch basketball that would not fit in the ball pocket. It also didn't fit on the inside of the bag. A child or mid-size ball may fit fine. Now we'll have to find another use for the ball pocket.

I've been scouring the net for over a year now looking for any and everything that would comfortably fit my Dell XPS M1730 which is a monster of a laptop. The Dell bag that is offered is far from flattering and left a lot to be desired. I went through a Kensington and Sharper Image rolling case that couldn't actually fit the computer in the protective sleeve but still offered a decent solution by just placing the laptop in that section of the bag. Well, after buying this bag I can comfortably say I will NEVER buy a rolling laptop bag every again. This not only has plenty of room for my laptop in it's specified area but also the massive power brick. It has a multitude of pockets and zippered pouches to put plenty of stuff in.

Because it isn't ideally suited for business travel (although that's what I use it for) everything inside is cloth pockets except for the back compartment that could probably fit 3 beers and ice with the lining it provides. But the cloth is actually a positive because this is the lowest profile backpack I have ever seen anywhere. I just took my first business trip with it and two people on the plane commented on how low profile it was and how sharp it looked even with the crazy pattern. It even comes with a smart phone holder on one of the straps.

It is also extremely comfortable to wear and your back doesn't get sweaty like a bunch of other backpacks probably do.

Overall this was the best money I've spent on a computer bag and I highly recommend if you have a monster laptop or just want a really cool bag then you consider this one. Everything is high quality from the zippers to the cloth inside. I think this will hold up for years.

BTW, the one I ordered was for the 17", they do have a model for 15" but this isn't it. This bag is highly worth it.

This bag looks good and ultimately does as it says in the description: Its a bag to hold your laptop and other stuff. But that's it. it's nothing special. The section that houses your laptop (in my case a 17 MacBook pro) is too big and leaves the corners of the mac unprotected. Although other compartments of the bag are also big, they are too big and my other kit moves around too much and isnt held securley. There are not enough smaller pockets for hard drives and cables and no easy-to-access side or top pockets. There are some smaller pockets inside the front of the bag but these are for pens and smaller items.. Not additional hard drives etc

They thought thru the aesthetics of this bag but not the ergonomics.

The gimmick of this bag is a Velcro sealed pocket running down the back of the bag to keep drinks and snacks cool. (the pocket is lined with plastic presumably to keep condensation off your kit) It's a nice enough idea except that it doesn't seem to work too well and as soon as you put a can of coke in there it's is very uncomfortable to wear as you have a snack shaped bump resting against your spine.

I will give this bag 3 stars as although it does exactly what it's meant to do, there are bags out there that do it much better and for a smaller price tag. This bag is certainly a case of style over content & ergonomics.

Yes, confirmed this is the 17" version. So, in short:

Plus: Outstanding build and material quality, beats Swissgear. Great design. Extremely comfortable and seems also extremely durable. Unless literally fully loaded, it's not very wide (when looked from the side), so you won't bang into other people if you walk and turn close to them.

Minus: Some minor design quirks. Mainly the accessibility of the compartment with keychain hook and pens. That's the only compartment with only 1 zipper (which could really use 2) and I found it inconvenient to use as a place where I'll store keys (the bag has another better 'fast access' compartment so it's all good). The other thing are the unprotected two corners when you put Alienware m17x inside. It's not really that bad, as only the corners are a little exposed but just something to keep in mind. The laptop protection is otherwise nothing but simply amazing.

Despite the small things I noted as minuses, I love the backpack and would highly recommend it. I'd give it 9/10. Do keep in mind though, it's the best backpack I have used so far and I haven't used one that I'd rate 10/10. :)

Dakine Girls Cosmo Back Pack

I just rec'd this little backpack it's exactly what I was looking for. I have sloping shoulders, so it's impossible to keep a 'shoulder-bag' purse strap on me without hunching that shoulder up (thereby resulting in a nice headache after >1 hour). I've got several 'cross-body' bags, but for travel & wearing to work here in Aspen I wanted a mini-backpack which hangs from both of my shoulders and out of the way; I'm not doing a 6-hr day hike, or climbing a 14,000-foot mountain, so I don't want or need the usual day-pack size. I also love all the colors and patterns available I had a hard time choosing one, but finally went with the purple 'lacey' design, which has purple-and-white zebra stripes on the inside. I'll probably purchase a lighter-color pattern also, since these little packs are definitely machine washable/dryable (made out of nylon, not cotton quilting).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The straps on this Dakine pack ARE LONG ENOUGH FOR ADULT WOMEN! I looked everywhere on the internet, & nowhere was it mentioned how long the straps are, so here you go: they can be adjusted to a maximum length of 31" as measured from the top of the strap to where it's attached at the bottom, plenty long enough for even this plus-sized gal (I even have 2.5 "extra" inches of strap when I adjust them to the length perfect for me.) I had bought a 'girls' backpack once before, but was disappointed because the strap-length was really designed for girl-size bodies, not women.

So i basically needed something to carry my stuff when i go out. It can fit a small notebook, my sketchbook and pencils, my phone and mp3 player, a small novel, and my camera. It also has little pockets for cash and stuff. There are enough compartments to keep everything organized, which is nice.

It can't fit textbooks though, so I wouldn't buy it for school.

I haven't had it for very long but it seems pretty durable.

Overall I am very happy with this product.

This was my second purchase of a Dakine Cosmo backpack. I got it for carrying essentials on the back of my wheelchair. It is just the right size to carry some emergency supplies like a spare inner tube, some small tools, tire changing levers, and some medical supplies. I've had the first one for 7 or 8 years, and other than fading from exposure to sunlight, it is just like new. The zippers get used almost daily, and have never jammed, even though most of the time I reach behind my back to zip and unzip them. The only reason I got a new one is to go on my new wheelchair!

A couple of years back I purchased a Lady Bug 100 tote. They were out of the black so I took what they had...a pretty teal, but not what I wanted for work. I bought this clear backpack solely to be used in Disney World. I figured that if security could see everything in my bag, going through the bag check would be faster and easier...Well, it was and it wasn't. Half the time they would skim over my bag without opening it and the other half they would still open it and go through it, even though the bag was clear, so it didn't save any time.

It rained a lot while we were there, and the thick plastic material helped the things inside from getting wet. It is not waterproof (although I don't think it claimes to be...) because water can get in through the zipper area, but on the whole, this backpack kept everything a lot dryer than if we had used a cloth one.

One more thing, it is a lot easier to find things in a clear backpack, so when you are packing a day's worth of park necessities (sunscreen, diapers, fans, snacks, etc), it is WAY easier to find them in this bag. That alone made this purchase worth while. I will definitely be saving this bag for all future theme park visits (even if I don't totally love the style of a clear backpack!!)

High Sierra Rouser5 Backpack

I will keep it short and sweet. The pack pack is perfect for what I need. I needed something that would house a 17" laptop while being comfortable to wear and this backpack has them both. It is very lightweight material but seems to be just as tough as some heavier materials.

The only problem with this bag is the seller. While checking out, I selected 1-3 day service to ship and paid the extra money for shipping (since they are not fulfilled by Amazon). As usual, they send you a notice after buying the item that they can take up to a week to deliver the item even after selecting 1-3 day shipping because of "handling time." It ended up taking 6 days for my bag to arrive and those people looking to buy from this seller should know about it.

Final verdict: Great bag, buy it from someone else.

I bought this backpack to replace my wornout Eastport Classic. I couldn't find the Eastport classic anywhere and had a hard time finding one like it. This one is close but doesn't have quite the capacity and not as many smaller side pockets. It seems durable (more so than my old one)and looks good too. I think for the price, I got a good backpack. After having this bag for abput 8 months now, it is very durable. I use it all the time and it gets some rough treatment. I still wish I had a little more capacity and the extra side pockets, but I am very satified with this bag!

I searched to find this purse. The style is exactly what I was looking for. My go to bag for vacation has been a brown leather backpack style purse for the past 15 years. I searched and found this deep brown purse with zippers and straps and pockets! yeah! It arrived yesterday and I don't love it. I was very disappointed by the color, we are leaving for vacation in a few days and I'm tempted to return this, but I'm torn. The style is exactly as pictured, but the color is sooooo not what I expected, and not my personal style at all. The purse I received is a light brown kinda taupe color. ahhhgg! I will photograph and post so everyone can decide if this is right for them.

I bought this to replace a similar style bag that was a Prada knock off purchased on a trip to Bahama. The bag I replaced was made of vinyl but lasted well for 3 years and I received lots of compliments on it all the same. I was happy to find this similar style bag online as I really liked the security of the way the bag closed and it works well as a shoulder bag or backpack. I was torn between the black and brown version so I ordered both. I wanted to see them in person. I selected the brown over the black because the feel of the leather was softer and I found the white stitching against the black leather too much of a contrast. The body of the bag is leather but the straps are vinyl. This was the case for both colors. The brown bag has more of an odor than the black but I did not find it offensive enough to place outside or in the garage. I am sure it will be hardly noticeable in a couple weeks. I guess my sense of smell is not as keen as some others who purchased this same item. I would tend to agree that the odor comes from poor quality dye. I will also agree with other posts that the lining is of very poor quality nylon almost plastic feeling. I too am crafty so I am sure I can replace it if need be. Overall this is fair quality for the price. If you are looking for a great quality item spend the money and go with a designer bag. I feel confident that since the overall product is leather I might get a year or two more out of this bag than the vinyl version it replaced. The size of the bag is good but if you are looking for a larger backpack to house notebook computer or iPad this is not a great choice. It would house a Kindle nicely.

Although this bag is a nice size and attractive enough in the black leather, after just one weekend of using it, the very thin, cheap interior lining ripped! I returned it and would not recommend it! The other negative is that the bag really had a stinky smell and was just starting to go away when I sent it back. It looks attractive and I wanted to like it but it was just too cheaply made.

I love this purse! It has plenty of small outer pockets and a large inner pocket. The straps and pocket options make it a very versatile bag. It is nice leather. My only complaint is that the interior lining is pretty cheap and will probably degrade pretty quickly.

First, let me get this out of the way, this is not a designer purse. My wife loves her smaller backpack purse and was always looking for a larger one as the smaller one is bloated with everything she carries in it. She has shopped locally and found it hard to find an affordable one like this purse. Luckily, Amazon as usual, came through along with it's 3rd party sellers.

Let's take a quick look at this purse.

PRO:

The texture of the material is soft. She ordered a different color (dark brown?) for same seller and that material was very hard, to the point that the bottom portion that touches your back when wearing, hits against one's back when wearing. I don't know if it is because of different treatment or processing of the leathers, but the other one was not comfortable.

The zipper for the main center is well thought out. Provides a more secure situation. Too often, other backpack purses have the main zipper that going across like the outside zipper so someone may be able to unzip it without you knowing. This main zipper in the middle is from front of body to back (perpendicular to outside zipper).

Under $30, large enough for many things to be packed inside, affordable.

CON:

The inside lining is cheap. It is acceptable but be careful with anything sharp or has pointed ends.

Is it completely 100% leather? I doubt it. How long will it last? This remains to be seen. So far, she is very happy to find this type of purse. 4 stars, I would give this 5 stars if it had better quality.

Got this for my son. He likes it. Sadly, the rolling handle had lost a screw on one side when it arrived; thought it would be easy to fix,but it involved several steps to the hardware store. In the meantime the other screw became lost.

This is a high-quality durable backpack. I've bought pottery barn kids ones in the past and this is comparable. However, I wanted something different than PBK had to offer (their preschool backpack is teeny tiny!). I am really glad I found Wildkins. It is the perfect size for a preschooler or early elementary (definately through kindergarten). It will easily fit anything standard folder size as well as a lunch box...plus some more! I love that it is black on the bottom, back, and straps. This should definately help it stay clean. I love the many choices of patterns....should have something to please every child! I bought the fairies and the mermaids. The fairies back-ground color is a cross between pink and lavendar.

Our entire experience purchasing this bag has been great. My daughter saw it and immediately fell in love. It arrived on time and was *almost* exactly as we expected--it's not the lavender the picture shows. Actually, it's quite pink! Still it's a great looking, girly backpack. It is the perfect size for her. I could see purchasing one for a preschooler and having it last as long as 1st grade. It seems durable and is much easier to clean than the backpack we replaced with this one.

Very cute backpack! It is very sturdy, well made, has two main compartments. I wish there is a mesh pocket for a water bottle on a side. Otherwise very satisfied!

Nice quality, very cute print, perfect size. I was looking for something larger than the tiny kids backpacks but not as big as a school backpack. This one ended up being the perfect size. It's great for my daughter to take to preschool and will hold a lunchbox as well as a sweater and her papers, etc. The only thing that I would note is the color is more pink than purple.
