Small/medium:

Fits 16~19" torso, 30 liters/1831 cubic inches, 3 pounds 10 ounces.

Medium/Large:

Fits 18.5~21.5" torso, 32 liters/1953 cubic inches, 4 pounds 4 ounces.

Amazon system will not allow me to enter this without a star rating. I don't own one of these so I really can't, thus the middle of the road star rating.

Having said that I'm nothing if not oppinionanted so I'll say this; too much capacity for a resort/slack country backpack, too little robustness for serious use. It has the avalung so I'll make the assumption that people interested on this are into getting a tad far from the groomed slopes. Based on that these are my observations:

On the backcountry I carry snowshoes. This strap system is very likely to send your shoes flying at the first oportunity; most decent packs use (or are modified with) a decent double-dual strap, where one part tighthens the load, the second fastener on the strap locks everything, times two. The waist strap is underengineered (for the pack capacity), which will seriously limit the weigth load you can stash on this, else you will compromise comfort. Often you see packs with a pad on the back that can be unsnapped from the top, which serves as a quick sit-down pad, and as means to strap the snowboard sideways. When climbing steep I like a horizontal mount.

If you are looking for a day pack, slackcountry pack, resort pack, this should work if you pack it light, but then again I hate the extra volume that I can't efficiently put to a good use. If you are going further off trail and don't have to do a lot of hiking with a snowboard attached to it, nor carry too much weight, it should work. I would not try to carry a load, nor would I trust my snowshoes without modifying the straps.

If you must know my main pack is a North Face Off Chute 22 liter, 1325 cubic inches, 3 pounds 7 ounces, with enough features for serious use. My light pack is a 11 liter K2 Pilchuck that can fit the shovel/probe/emergency kit/sandwich, and is so slim that without snowshoes I can ride a chairlift without problems. The Pilchuck shares some of the same design shortcomings as the black diamond but that is fine; it has a third of the volume capacity. Short of you carrying steel plates you couldn't put that much weight on it, nor do I plan on summiting a big mountain with it.

At the end I'm going with the stand-alone avalung which I can then use on any backpack.

This case is pretty and large enough to fit my laptop. I do not like the hidden handle which are attached to the inside of the case

making it awkward to carry and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this case if you need or want to carry your case by handles.

Disney Princess Backpack - Disney Princess kid Size School Backpack

I bought this backpack for my granddaughter who is going to preschool this year. Her older sister is going into Kindergarten and I bought a backpack for her and just had to get one for the younger grandchild. She absolutely loves it. Disney is her absolute favorite manufacturer. She loves everything Disney. I love it because it is smaller than her older sibling's which I think is perfect for her size and age. It is big enough to hold everything she will need to take to school and then also big enough to carry all she needs to bring home from school. She doesn't need to carry books yet and this is perfectly fit to her size and ability to carry. It seems like it will hold up well, but will let you know later on if it doesn't since school doesn't start until next week. This is great for a smaller child who will not be carrying a lot of books or homework. Great work Disney, for considering smaller children.

Rothco Vintage Canvas Weekender Backpack

I bought this because it looks really nice, and I've had a few people mention how much they like it.

The straps are really wide and comfortable, they don't dig in and I barely even notice the straps while wearing it.

There is lots of room so it can hold a lot of stuff.

Sadly those are just about it for my Pros column.

Because of the material my shirt *constantly* rides up in the back. I feel like I'm reaching back every 30 seconds to pull my shirt back down so its a huge annoyance to me, but if you don't mind it then go for it.

While all the buckles and such look nice they can be annoying and time consuming to do and undo. Not a deal breaker but if you're in a big rush its a little inconvenient.

The adjustment buckles on the straps are VERY loose and never hold the straps tightly enough to keep them at a desired length. Walking in general will cause the straps to lengthen rather quickly, and never at the speed for each strap. And I lost count on how many times I would accidently touch/brush or even just look at the buckle and cause the strap to suddenly lengthen by inches.

Because the main compartment is so large it can be uncomfortable to carry certain things, like school books. The books would constantly lean back, causing the pack to lean back too, and if the book is small enough it will just fall over completely and lay flat, which can be just as annoying. The drawstring just wasn't efficient enough to keep things close.

So in the end, I wouldn't suggest this backpack for everyday school use. If you like going camping and want to use it for clothes or something, that would be good.

Huge, comfy, perfect. The straps do not dig into your back like other bags without padding can. I use it for college and it holds all of my books, supplies, water bottle, and extra crap too. I had all of this in my old, regular back and it felt like it weighed a millon pounds. This bag makes it feel like all I have is a couple of notebooks or something. Also, my old backpack barely lasted a year of college with visible wear/tear after a month. This bag is has gone through more abuse than my old one ever did and looks brand new. Only problem I've found is that it makes your shirt ride up a bit, but that's to be expected of the material. Worth it for the durability. Definitely recommend.

Used this to travel abroad with lots of camera gear. It is large to look at when you catch your reflection, but the weight settles very nicely and it is well balanced. I needed a bag with a good waist belt to get the weight off my shoulders while waiting in lines at the airport. Very comfortable.

The backpack was sturdy and made of aa good matereial, but when i got it in the mail (about a week late i might add) i was sorely dissapointed in how small it was. I needed a good backpack for school but this won't even hold a 1" binder. I think that it will hold strong for a purse like use, but this backpack for school is an awful choice. It's up to the buyer on the size that you like your bags. This was way too small.

I admit, being really scared of buying this bag because of it's size, but for a tiny-looking bag, a lot can fit in! My binders, my textbooks, phone, wallet, everything! But then again, I don't carry around a 1290 page textbook, so I'd recommend something not TOO heavy. The design is cute, adorable, and goes with a lot of my outfits ( I bought the black polka dot design :) Overall I LOVE, LOVE THIS BAG! Only thing that would have made it even better would have been side pockets to hold a water bottle, but it's only a minor thing really. So get this bag! You may be surprised because of the size once you get it in the mail, but you will NOT regret it! :D

This backpack while overall cute, is quite small the small front pocket isn't separated to the large pocket therefore items slide around in your bag. Also the interior pocket doesn't hold anything very well and once again things slide around. I still use this product just not for school.

Disney Pixar Cars 2 Dual Compartment Lunch Kit - RSN

I bought this for my 4-year old to take his lunch to preschool. He loved the lunch bag when he received it. Unfortunately I can't say as much. It does not reflect the usual quality of Disney products.

Surprisingly, the inside has no insulation and therefore cannot be used with perishable foods. Based on recent studies showing the need to have ice packs to keep your child's food safe, this particular lunch bag would not be safe.

Sizewise it's very small. The larger trangular compartment (8"x6", 5" deep at bottom and 2" deep at top) small will hold a wide-mouth thermos such as the Thermos Food Jar 10 Oz. and a juice box. The bottom compartment (7"x2"x4") has room for a juice box or a small banana for example, but not too much room for much else.

The image on the front is cute and "moves" slightly (it appears 3-D) but may show scratches over time. The metallic red piping around the edges will help it keep its shape. The printed images of cars on the bottom are thin it doesn't look as though they will stand up to a lot of use and abuse either.

If your child needs a snack bag to fit in a tote bag or cubby, it's about right. If you'll use it to hold little toys and Golfish for outings, OK too. However, for the price, you will find much better options for lunch bags that are insulated and much better quality.

This is a great shock absorber, it adds extra protection for my laptop. It keeps it clean and safe at home and makes it easier to carry when I don't feel like lugging my backpack around town. It's a tight fit for my 17.3 " screen, but It's not difficult to load and unload. All in all it does what I expected and I believe its a great value.

My review :

This is a very well made pack that uses heavy duty materials. When you see this pack in person you can instantly see that this is bomb proof. Compared to most packs, the material is much thicker. This of course comes with a special benefit. It is waterproof! The material is 315D auto-airbag fabric!!!

Lots of pockets and three apertures, top, side and bottom.

As far as looks go; This pack rocks! It's gorgeous! Certainly one of the most striking thanks to the red and black design. I personally love it!

I've used this pack 5 times total now. The trips ranged from 10 miles all the way to 60. Some over night and some multi-day. Extremely comfortable even with the added weight.

The pivoting hip belt really helps control your load. Also the harness is very comfortable on your shoulders and your back as well. I noticed very little sweating even when trekking up mountains.

At my max load, I believe I had about 45lbs worth of gear. The suspension handled it nicely.

Overall this is a killer pack. It has some added weight but not all that much for a 70liter system. The fact that it is weather proof is a big deal! I live in a very wet climate so keeping my gear dry is important. After hiking through flash flood causing rains I can tell you...it's a solid pack! Nothing got wet.

I love it. I also got a great deal on this pack from another outfitter for about a hundred less than what amazon is offering it for.

This backpack is awesome for motorcycle riding. Not much storage space, but that's expected when you want a no drag pack. I can fit a change of clothes and some shoes, thats about it. It looks great and is comfortable and well made. The only complaint is that it scratches extremely easily. I barely rubbed my fingernail against it while tieing it and now I have two scratches. I will probably put some adhesive back reflectors over the scratches and heavy use areas like where I tie the flap down.

Well, the mesh bag was big and more than the cubic inches of the bag that was to be placed inside it for safe keeping at such places like hotel storage; however, it was not long enough. I believe this is a problem with the vendor and amazon.com in describing how to measure before purchase. Length is the limiting factor in the cubic-Inch calculation. I'll have more when I get back. The mesh is useable; however, it has now been repurposed and is doing a fine job.

The locks are a little flaky; however, I am thinking a thief seeing all of this wire mesh will go after easier prey! I'd recommend this product. JUST REMEMBER THE LENGTH IS THE LIMITING SIZE fat is okay in this instance!

Dakine 49-Litre Over Under Pack

I bought this as a carry on because it was in my price range and I liked the spectrum colors grey with green zipper. I have had anywhere from fancy to cheap luggage before and I am pleasantly surprised how nice this one is. Definitely recommend and I might get a larger one that matches for checking.

1) The wheels! I didn't know this brand makes skateboarding products, but now it makes why these wheels are so amazing and smooth.

2) You will never have the issue of someone grabbing your luggage because it looks like theirs. Which is great because lately my baggage has been checked for free right before I board because overhead space is full.

3) The expanding option is great. You get through security without having to check your bag because it's too big, and then you can put everything you were holding and expand the bag a couple of inches.

4) There aren't a lot of compartments. I used to think I liked a bunch of pockets, but I like how simple this bag is. Two pockets outside, and the inside has a mesh zipper to separate the 'lid' and large compartment.

5) It's really light and sturdy. The fabric is very durable and you can clean it easily. Trust me. It's nice and light too, which made me wonder its durability, but it's well made. When completely filled it doesn't fall over. The handles are nice and sturdy to pull out of the over head or from baggage claim easily.

Best carry-on I've had. Plenty of room and very sturdy wheels. Outside pockets perfect for holding travel documents and provides easy access for MP3 player and headphones! Dakine no ka oi!

Swiss Gear SA1061 Black Backpack

Its an absolutely cheap quality laptop backpack. It doesn't even have a flap which you usually pull to keep your laptop in. I don't know why Swissgear made such a cheap quality bag. I shouldn't have bought it since this had 0 reviews. I wouldn't even buy it if it were sold for 20 bucks. As soon as I opened the box and touched the bag, I felt its cheap built and horrible design after opening the bag. I am returning it the same day that I got it. Not even gonna try it. It doesn't even have a protective padding on the bottom of the bag to protect your laptop if at all the bag slips while keeping it on the floor or bench.

I would NEVER recommend to buy this bag as a laptop bag.

If you really like the style (which is definitely good and decent) you can buy it as a normal backpack to go to school, sports, etc.

It's a very nice backpack for general use.

If you are searching for a backpack to use with a laptop, go and find something else.

It's not possible to keep safe a laptop.

In general, looks like a very good product (design/build).
