the quality of the main bags material is good, however the straps and zippers are poor, had this pack for 2 weeks and one of the straps started to fray, the padding and material of the main shoulder straps is low quality. the straps are so slick that it is impossible to carry with one strap only even briefly, it is very large but i doubt it would hold up to much use fully loaded. I ended up requesting a refund and choosing a different manufacturer.
This is very cute and durable, but it's too small for a folder. We bought this as a first backpack for preschool. We are returning it so we can find one that everything will fit in. It would make a great diaper bag for a toddler that you don't need to pack many items for.

This is the best backpack I have ever owned in terms of weight distribution and how it fits on my back. The only little defect is that it is a little narrow. I did a lot of research before finally selecting this commuter pack....and I'm so glad I did. I use this backpack for commuting to work and since I work 12-shifts, I needed something that could handle the gear. I can fit work shoes, a soft-sided lunch bag, a book, change of scrubs, etc without problems. I was a little curious about the waterproof-ness of the backpack, but had that question answered this morning when I was caught in a downpour on the way home from work. I arrived home soaked, with black road grit splattered all up my backside and on the backpack. I held the pack over the sink and literally just rinsed the grit and stains off. Next time I looked at it, it was dry and perfect again. The inside of the pack stayed perfectly dry. I love the zippered pockets and little compartments to stash stuff. I use the laptop section for my scrubs instead of a computer, but it looks like it would work great for a laptop too. No complaints, you should buy this backpack. Just be careful in your selection...there is the "regular" version and the large version (which I have). I tried on the regular version at a local Recreational Equipment Incorporated store and it seemed kind of small for my needs.
Fits the macbook pro wonderfully!! Had to tape down in a few spots (above the trackpad and in the bottom corners) so that the leather wouldnt stick up, but since then it hasnt had any problems!! Looks very professional!!!
This bag suits my needs perfectly. The very back zipper compartment has adequate padding for my work laptop -an IBM ThinkPad with 15" display (the actual computer measures 16" diagonally) and there's room to spare, so it could easily fit a laptop that is 1" bigger and certainly one that is thicker.

Although, the product's 'blue' trim isn't as shown in the picture; it has a dark/navy blue trim. Either way, I'm still very happy with the product as it's able to carry out all it's functions and abilities as advertised. Very comfortable, fits my 15.5 inch laptop all snug and safe, numerous amounts of storage space for other materials; even a storage space for a liquid bottle of the sort.This backpack was really disappointing. It barely fits my 15inch laptop and the cable to strap it is so tight that I believe this ended up tearing another portion of the backpack. This is a great looking, spacious briefcase. The leather is supple, not stiff, and the briefcase suits a very casual man. It's well organized and allows him to carry a laptop, iPad, Kindle, all cords, books, files and small items. He likes the ability to sling it over a shoulder when he is handling two dogs or traveling. Excellent well made piece.
2 stars because it is cute. The problem is that it smells so toxic it literally took my breath away when I opened the box. Husband thinks it's excessive fire retardent so it's going back today.

This bag rocks! It will carry a large laptop easily with room to spare. I like the organizer being outside the bag right under the main flap. The pocket on the main flap holds a lot to. The cellphone/mediastick pocket is a nice touch. I like the 2 pockets on the side and the magazine/newspaper pocket on the back. The strap is very comfortable and makes the bag easy to carry long distances even if it is fully loaded. I was in school back when I bought this bag because of my new laptop which was 2 inches larger than my old laptop and would not fit in my old laptop bag. The main compartment holds quite a bit and the pocket that's in front of the main compartment but behind the business organizer is very handy as well. My hats off to the maker of this excellent bag. The cost was great and very affordable. All in all, this bag was a steal at $40. It would've been a bargain at even 2 or 3 times that price. First off, this is not as long as it is measured to be and some of the pictures with people, on the web, make this bag look too long. It is not. I have to assume that the Amazon measurements take into account the 2 side pockets, stretched to their fullest. Actually, the length is just a hair over 16 inches and measured across the bottom, it is just over 15 inches. There are 2 long partitions inside, one with a Velcro flap over the top middle. There is a zipper closure in the flap on the outside and a Velcro held pocket along the entire backside, 15X10.5 with a matching pocket on the reverse side under the flap and behind the smaller, front pockets. Inside, there are two nylon pockets, 5.5 wide by 5 deep, one has a Velcro flap the other has a smaller mesh pocket on the outside. In the center is a Velcro nylon cell phone pocket, 2.5X4 with 2 pencil holders on the side. On both ends are zippered pockets, 4x6. The entire inside is lined with soft nylon and the partition and back side are padded. I bought this online because I found the same basic bag in the store for a smaller computer. I liked how it felt and looked but it was too small for my computer (the one in the store, that is).
I have a friend who now just turned 14. She really likes the muppets especially animal.
