Black Leather Clipboard Padfolio By Bags for Less
I certainly expected something better than what I was getting. The product was "on sale" for $32.99 when I bought it and had a "normal" price of $99. Very deceiving... I wouldn't pay more than $5 for this poorly made product. The product is made in China of plastic leather, with a flimsy binding and chemical smell. It has foam in between the pleather that further adds to the product's cheaply made feeling. This clip does appear strong enough to hold paper and the back is sturdy enough to write on while holding it in hand. This product came in new. I use it every day at the office and it has work perfectly on all of my projects.

I just started to work for a home renovator in sales, marketing and design. The owner and I like to do joint appointments so we both know exactly what's going on and we can come up with a solution together. Anyway, we often end up walking around a house and I take notes. My leather portfolio is NOT cutting it.....too bulky for walking around. The owner likes to use a clipboard, but it looks kind of unprofessional. I found this on Amazon and its perfect! Great quality, both professional and functional.Read Best Reviews of Black Leather Clipboard Padfolio By Bags for Less Here

Targus Sport Rolling Backpack Case Designed for 15.4 Inch Notebooks (Black with Grey Accents)
From the rolling perspective, the stowed straps can sometimes get in the way.
For it's size and weight, it doesn't have that many storage areas. I am a traveling technologist and I carry a lot of small devices and cables, in addition to my laptop. With this case, I've had to dump most of these in the one large compartment.
And very annoyingly, one of the rivets holding one of the wheels on has broken through after only 4 months of regular use.
My advice: if you primarily roll, get a rolling bag. If you primarily carry on your back, get a backpack.I was looking for a reasonably-priced unit that could double as a carry-on bag for the stuff I really do not want to check as baggage. The Targus TSB700 15.4 Rolling Notebook Backpack looked like it would work. I recently used it on a week-long trip by air. It held all the laptop's gear in its many compartments. All the items I usually put in my standard carry-on more than fit in the separate center compartment. I was able to leave the carry-on bag at home. The stuffed-full bag fit in the overhead compartment and under the seat of a "real" airplane, but not overhead in the small commuter planes. During my 3-hour lay-over at the airport, I could easily drag the bag around. The backpack is comfortable to wear. (I am not young and athletic!!) The wheels roll very easily, and the shift from wheeled bag to backpack is quick and easy -like when I had to grab the airport bus to change terminals. Access to the laptop is easy, since you have to pull it out every time you go thru security. It was particularly nice to be able to pull out the laptop and its inner padded carrycase (included) when I had to check the bag at the airside at the last minute on a crowded, teeny little commuter plane.
I looked at comparable units that were advertised as weekender computer cases. Most were not backpack-convertible. All were much more expensive. I am really happy with my purchase. My 12 year old son has tried virtually every wheeled backpack on the market. We require a large capacity (2000 cubic inches+) wheeled backpack to be able to fit his textbooks, planner, school supplies, water bottle, gym clothes, and assorted other odds and ends. When full, these result in a load too heavy to be comfortably lifted-hence the need for a wheeled pack. Said pack has to go up and down multiple flights of stairs at his school daily, in and out of 2 separate carpools, and travels on planes for trips. No back pack we have ever purchased has lasted one full school year, including this one-but, this has been the best and longest lasting of what we've tried. The Jansport Driver 8 is our second choice, but the second main compartment droops on the ground when filled, causing the fabric to rip almost imemdiately from being scraped. It is $12 more expensive than the Targus (at least when we bought it), 2 inches smaller in width, and 1 inch smaller in depth, and hence 2 pounds lighter. But like I said-for durability and capacity issues it gets second place. The targus has more options for organizing stuff and has more capacity, and it has a more durable bottom, and it's cheaper. However 1 week before school ended, the handle snapped off. Still, like I said, we've never had a backpack last a year so I still give this high marks. For the record, we have also tried Lands End and LL Bean rolling backpacks, samsonite, and a few others. I will be buying another Targus for my son for next year.As a children's author I travel constantly to speak and visit schools. I've spent the last six months looking for a new rolling backpack to suit my needs and finally encountered this one in an airport shop. I came right home and ordered it. It's lightweight with the most fabulous telescoping handle, a variety of pockets that fit my various accessories, and plenty of room to carry copies of all of my books as well as my laptop computer. Plus, the wheels are far apart, balanced so that the pack doesn't tip forward when free-standing, and relatively quiet on tile airport floors. I'm delighted!

Case Logic LAPS-113 13.3-Inch Laptop / MacBook Air / MacBook Pro Retina Display Sleeve (Black)
PROS:
No nonsense, sleek design
6mm EVA foam padding
Smooth gliding zipper
Protective lip prevents damage from zipper
CONS:
Slight rubbery odor
I define my perfect laptop sleeve to be one that has no handles, pockets, zippers, or bulk. What I want out of a sleeve, is a relatively form-fitting sleeve that I can then toss into one of my other bags, like my Timbuk2 messenger bag or my JanSport backpack. The LAPS-113 hit each of my requirements perfectly, except for the inclusion of a zipper. Though, as you'll soon see, the zipper turned out to be a neutral feature for me, not a negative one.
PROTECTION
First and foremost, the LAPS-113 will protect your laptop from scratches. The exterior and interior materials are made out of 100% polyester. What makes the LAPS-113 stand out from many similar sleeves is the fact that it actually has some worthwhile padding to protect your laptop from impact. It is surrounded by a 6mm layer of EVA foam which feels a lot like memory foam. This thin layer provides enough protection that I feel very comfortable with it in my aforementioned bags. The sides also have a woven webbing that provides a protective texture as well as making it look attractive. As I mentioned before, I did not like the idea of a zipper on a laptop sleeve because I fear scratching my laptop with it. Fortunately, the Case Logic LAPS-113 has a protective lip around the zipper teeth. Essentially, when you begin to zip the the sleeve shut, the protective lip folds down over the laptop so that it is protected from coming in contact with the zipper teeth.
USAGE & SIZE
The smooth gliding zipper runs across the entire top of the sleeve and about an inch down the sides. It is very easy to insert and remove my laptop from the LAPS-113. When inside my messenger bag, I can remove my laptop without having to remove the entire sleeve from the bag. The Case Logic LAPS-113 laptop sleeve is listed as a 13.3-inch appropriate sleeve. The internal dimensions are 13in x 9.1in x 1.1in and weighs just 6 ounces. The new 13-inch Macbook Pro is listed as 12.78in x 8.94in x 0.95in, so the sleeve should be perfect. However, I have a 12.1-inch Google Chrome Cr-48 notebook and that too fit amazingly well. As my readers probably know already, I LOVE Timbuk2 products but I think the LAPS-113 just usurped my Timbuk2 sleeve as the sleeve my Cr-48 will live in. All you game developers who got their free Cr-48 from the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco might want to try the LAPS-113 for your brand new toy. To top it off, the LAPS-113 comes in three colors-black, red, and tannin (a sort of red wine, brown mixture). I also want to mention that the sleeve does give off a slight rubbery odor at first, but fades away after a few days. I know that some people are highly sensitive to smell so I just wanted to mention it for their sake.
CONCLUSION
There are plenty of folks out there who want a sleeve that has enough padding for better impact protection. The Case Logic LAPS-113 is able to do that without adding significant bulk in a simple and attractive design. I recommend it for 13-inch Macbook Pro users and Google Chrome Cr-48 users alike.
* Review sample courtesy of Case Logic, Inc.I've been using this case a couple weeks and like it so far. I strongly recommend NOT BUYING THE RED ONE! I ordered it thinking black would be too boring but the red is not like the picture and its quite an ugly red.
The case is soft with a few millimeters of foam. It isn't going to save your computer, but it will keep it from small scratches and dings while its being transported.
I'd love a case that offered a bit of moisture protection, which this certainly does not, but for the price, it definitely meets my expectations.I just bought a 13in MacBook Pro and needed a case asap for it. Saw this case and so far so good! Fit my laptop perfectly plus its a cute shade of pink :) Love the case and couldn't beat the price anywhere else. This is a perfect fit to my 15" Samsung Series 9 ultrabook, 9.5" x 14". Since it is so hard to find a perfect fit. I just want to leave a moment here so other people could buy it.this case fits the macbook pro 13in perfectly! its cute and a good material and appears to have some extra room for even the cord to fit in with it. get this!

My daughter is starting middle school and I wanted to find her a nice backpack that is not too kiddish but not too large either. She is very petite. This backpack is excellent for her. it is a sling so it evenly distributes the weight of her books. The design is great and she loves it. Her friends all comment on how much they love it also. Excellent choice.Read Best Reviews of Pink Plaid Cross Body Sling Messenger Backpack / Outdoor Daypack Bag Here
Love the color and the comfort; it's even comfortable to wear in the front! A little bit bigger than I expected, but that just means I can carry more stuff. It's very cute.Want Pink Plaid Cross Body Sling Messenger Backpack / Outdoor Daypack Bag Discount?
In the picture this bag appears to be white with hot pink and black stripes and black "trim." In reality, the bag is a pale pink with hot pink and brown stripes and brown "trim." It would have been nice if the description clarified this. If it had, I wouldn't have bought the bag. It doesn't look as clean with the pale pink background. The material and construction are also lacking. An equal priced backpack from WalMart would be of better construction quality. Overall, it is an inexpensive bag that won't last long. I estimate it might make it through one school year so long as the kid goes easy on it.
Beware of the color scheme. If you are expecting white/pink/black that is not what you'll be getting.

JanSport Right Pack Monochrome
It was also delivered within a week, which was great, and I was so happy to see how good it looked. The only thing that I wish is that it was a little smaller because I have a small frame, but eh, I'll get used to it.When I initially purchased this bag, I did it because of the color and the quality. I've been using it for a couple of weeks, and I don't have a problem with the quality at all. The only thing that bothers me is that the color was not as dark as it seemed in the photo. I expected a darker shade of purple but it's kinda light. Besides that, it's a good bag.

Awesome backpack! Very tough and durable. Perfect for school. I would definitely recommend this backpack to a friend. No regrets purchasing this item!I'm a big fan of the black color, and I was looking for a new backpack for college. After looking at different ones, none convinced me. I decided to browse one here in Amazon and I found this one. The backpack is pitch black, not light black or charcoal black. I can fit my binder, notebook (not laptop), two 3" thick books, plus my iPad. It has a a medium compartment for your pens, a pocket for whatever you want to store there, and a front zipper pocket for something else. A few classmates have asked me where I bought it, given me positive comments like how awesome it looks, asked me to seel mine to them. I loved it overall. Recommend it!Monday, December 16, 2013
Meffort Inc 15.6" Laptop Sleeve with Extra Side Pocket , Soft Carrying Handle & Removable Shoulder
great great great productThis is a beautiful piece, but the color is not as vibrant as the picture (it is more of a pink than actual purple, think magenta) and the actual image seems a bit more stretched or pixilated than from the photo of the item. It fits the laptop perfectly though and it is a nice sleeve for protection.

FOR ME JUST TO THIN FOR KIDS.OMG THIS WAS PERFECT. MY BOYFRIEND LOVED IT SO MUCH, HE WAS SO HAPPY. IT WAS GREAT HE NEEDED IT FOR HIS LAPTOP AND IT FIT PERFECTLY. HAPPY NEW YEAR!Love the fact this sleeve has the same design on both sides. Bought it for my 14 year old son and it fits his laptop and the plug/adapter with room to spare. Very good quality and received it very quickly.I ordered this for my son (13-yr old). He loved the design. The print wasn't as bright as I was hoping but the eyes do look like they are glowing which is kind of cool. As one other reviewer mentioned, the handles come from inside the case, which looks sleek, but if you actually need to use the handles, you won't be able to have the case zipped closed all the way. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I got a matching skin for the laptop so it looks pretty complete altogether.i like the cover. i like it because it has a black and stylish disignee on it. i like ot

Timbuk2 Race Duffel Bag
A beach towel
A bath towel
One Joe Blow bike pump
Flip Flops
Running Shoes
Cycling Shoes
And gels, bars, electrolyte tabs, a bottle of cytomax, three bottles of water, socks, goggles, spare tubes, various bike tools, spare shirts, and a change of clothes.
Prior to this I had a non-descript black duffel bag without a shoulder strap, my bike pump kind of stuck out of the zipper, and the thing didn't have a shoulder strap. The last thing you want to do on race day is schlep a 35 pound bag with no shoulder strap from your parking spot which always seems to be 2.5k from t1 in one hand and your bike in the other hand!
Yes I did have a system for keeping the gels, bars, electrolyte tabs, socks, goggles, spare tubes, spare shirts, and a change of clothes organized, it involved a careful rolling of items into the beach towel (transition mat) at 1:00am the night before the race. The problem was post-race, the stuff just didn't seem to fit back into the bag!
With this new bag I've got Capacity to fit everything, (including the bike pump), portability in the form of shoulder Strap(s), and pockets to keep the gel's from rubbing up against the business end of my flip flops, Water proof pockets to contain a cytomax spill to one compartment, the list goes on but can be summed up in one word ORGANIZATION. Last but not least I've got style.
There are many ways to get yourself squared away on race day. I recommend this bag!I have been looking for a gear bag for my biking stuff for a long time and I finally found it. This bag is perfect on one side you can fid your helmet and the other side has a lined section for your muddy shoes and wet clothing. The center section is large enough for anything else you may have. Plus it has two outside water bottle holders.

I purchased this bag in hopes of having a general duffel bag for races, weekend trips, etc. When I received it I found that it was much smaller than I expected. Ultimately I ended up returning it and purchasing a eagle creek hybrid hauler. If you are looking for a duffel/backpack converter go for the Eagle Creek. That being said, I am a huge fan of timbuk2 and their messenger bags. I'll continue to stick with them for their messenger bags.Read Best Reviews of Timbuk2 Race Duffel Bag Here
I bought this bag sight unseen, with just viewing the pictures and reading the description on Amazon. It's a nice bag, but could benefit from some additional design considerations. On the good side, it seems to be of good quality materials and construction. It is spacious (as advertised) and there are several pockets/storage areas to make use of.My only real disappointment is in the fact that there that there is no way to get backpack straps out of the way when they are not in use. When you want to carry it as a duffle bag by the handles there is no way to remove the backpack straps and no special pocket/sleeve in which the backpack straps can be tucked into to avoid them getting in the way or dragging. The straps are stitched on the top end and can be disconnected on the bottom end... but no matter what you do they are in the way when not in use. The perfect solution would have been for them to have a little pocket sleeve near the stitched end that you could insert the straps when not in use.
Anyway, it's a nice bag overall and while I don't regret buying it I really wish the backpack straps had a better solution when not in use.I love this bag for the gym. I purchased the small size and I'm keeping it. The two side compartments are very handy for shoes, sweaty clothes, etc. However, the reason it gets 3 stars is because the backpack straps aren't great. The straps attach/detach at one end with a hook for easy access to the main compartment, sorta like an adjustable bra strap. Great idea, but the loops that hold the hooks are loose, and the straps constantly fall out when I'm putting the bag on. In addition, the backpack straps cut into my back when i wear them, which is very uncomfortable. I removed the straps altogether. Last but not least, the two net pockets on the outside are too small to hold water bottles. Not sure if they meant it to be used only for fuel packs?

Brenthaven Pro 15/17 Backpack (2340)
Brenthaven changed the design a few months ago. My wife has an earlier one, which has a less comfortable handle but a removable inner sleeve that velcros closed.
The newer style does not have the internal velcro closure, and this was a very costly omission for me. My backpack, containing my 17" Powerbook, tipped over, fully zipped, and fell approximately two feet to the floor, with the top of the backpack striking pavement.
Fearing the worst but hoping for the best, I removed the computer and was horrified to discover that it had slid right through the internal flap and taken the full brunt of the impact, massively denting and dislocating the side of the computer and damaging the PCMCIA slot.
Applecare does not cover this sort of damage, so I ended up eating a multi-hundred dollar repair bill.
The backpack is comfortable and capacious, but the lack of protection for a top impact was a deep disappointment.
Buy Brenthaven Pro 15/17 Backpack (2340) Now
I'm a computer consultant and carry my laptop and other gear with me EVERYWHERE. I bought this bag because it was one of the few that would fit my 17" MacBookPro and what a great job it does! This bag is certainly not going to carry your laptop and several school books. If you're a student, forget it.
The bag has plenty of room for the laptop, in the dedicated compartment. Because I have the 17", I had to pull the 2" thick extra padding from the bottom. I'm able to fit a complete set of tools I use regularly to fix computers in the bottom pocket (screwdrivers, tweazers, ESD strap, extra screws, etc). Another pocket has lots of room to hold my business cards, pens, DVD/CDs, USB keys/jump drives, cable lock, etc. Then there's the pocket for my paper work, folders and enough room to carry around one thick book (as computer books tend to be thick) or several smaller books. Finally, the last pocket has plenty of room to carry my laptop's power adapter, extension cord, wireless mouse and 10-foot ethernet cable.
In short, this one bag carries EVERYTHING I need to be productive at my customers' sites. Is this bag for everyone? No. It's certainly not light. There is so much protective padding, the bag itself is weighty. That's great for me, because I take my machine everywhere and can get a little rough. But if you are not able to or interested in carrying around some good weight, look elsewhere.
Overall, this is a perfect bag for me. I don't prioritize weight over protection or convenience of being able to carry a lot of stuff in one bag. This bag has really held up well for me so far (about 6-8 weeks) and has made my travels with my laptop and other gear much easier.
I certainly recommend this bag for people on the go, who carry a lot of stuff and want to consolidate it all in one place and who don't mind the weight.
My two cents.

I don't usually write these kinds of reviews but I'm really impressed with this Brenthaven Pro 15-17 Backpack! It costs a little more but it's worth the money. The protection system is awesome. I've dropped this case a few times with my Powerbook 17" inside and have opened it expecting my portable to be in pieces... only to find it's in perfect shape. The straps feel like true backpack straps, very comfortable. And after a few months of hard use, it still looks like new. I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a great laptop backpack.Want Brenthaven Pro 15/17 Backpack (2340) Discount?
I first bought the Benthaven briefcase version, figuring backpacks are for the young. Well, turns out backpacks are also for the not-so-young. I'm in a wheelchair and discovered the briefcase design too cumbersome, so in August I traded in the case for the Brenthaven Pro 15-17 backpack and have never looked back. The Brenthaven CORE protection chamber for the MacBook Pro is clearly heavy duty, and it itself is covered with ballistic nylon that allows you to zip closed the already closed protection chamber. (A removeable 2"-thick block of CORE material is also included to create a snug fit for the 15.3".) I don't go around dropping my backpack on purpose, but I also don't worry when it falls a couple of feet.I've used the pack extensively for 4 months now and love the thing. It has plenty of pockets for accessories and business materials, including a small zippered pocket at the front bottom of the pack that I use for bottles of meds I don't want in checked baggage. I've carried my Macbook Pro 17", all its accessories, my digi cam, digi tape recorder, cell phone, cell phone accessories, meds, writing materials, a day's change of clothing, and I've STILL had room for a couple of books. The pockets are all easily accessible, and two pockets can be locked (baggage locks not included). Even fully packed, the backpack fits easily and safely in a plane's overhead storage compartment. Plus the adjustable straps are padded for a comfortable fit over one shoulder or two.
In the past, a computer case was just a computer case, but Brenthaven hit a home run with this baby. It holds more than I imagined, protects my MacBook Pro, AND looks great. The only downside was its price--I paid $179.00 for mine--but the current price of $118.62 is a steal.
