Good for travel in the USA, but elsewhere they won't have a TSA key so it will be cut off. The red color helps find my bag among a lot of black roll-ons. The large numbers on the lock help me open it easily. The lockwork is smooth. and the hasp is deep enough to easily attach several items.

This lock is well made, strong, easy to read and open, and nice looking. Would definately recommend it.

If you are older, these locks are hard to read the numbers. I have found others that were larger numbers and easy for old eyes to read. I think someone reviewed this lock as easy read....I didn't find it so but then I'm older than Methusla!

I bought this backpack for my granddaughter who is going to preschool this year. Her older sister is going into Kindergarten and I bought a backpack for her and just had to get one for the younger grandchild. She absolutely loves it. Disney is her absolute favorite manufacturer. She loves everything Disney. I love it because it is smaller than her older sibling's which I think is perfect for her size and age. It is big enough to hold everything she will need to take to school and then also big enough to carry all she needs to bring home from school. She doesn't need to carry books yet and this is perfectly fit to her size and ability to carry. It seems like it will hold up well, but will let you know later on if it doesn't since school doesn't start until next week. I bought this laptop sleeve for my 8 yr old daughter's HP laptop. The fit is great and it has enough "give" to fit her mouse and power cord in it as well. She loves the butterfly design on the sleeve. The only complaint that I have is that the hidden handles aren't usable. They're on the inside of the sleeve, so they can't be used if the sleeve is zipped completely.

The item smells when you first get it, but it wears off after a few days. I like having the option of handles, too. It works great for travel because I didn't have to take my laptop out of this case during security. However, I really wish there was a pocket for my charger/accessories. Also, the picture is a little fuzzy, but I like the design so much I don't really care.

This bag is beautiful inside and out. However, the straps are "slippery" and tend to fall off your shoulder. As a backpack, the straps really cut into the front on your shoulders and were too painful for me to wear that way for very long. The bag has a lot of room inside but the shape of the zipper (upside down smile) makes it a little hard to get into without using both hands.

I purchased this bag in black for the winter months. I have this same bag in another color which I used all summer. It is absolutely the best bag for my needs. There are 3 large completely independent internal compartments along with a zippered area. The organization is unmatched in any of my other bags....and I have many. The only complaint I have is that the handles are slippery when used as a shoulder bag which is how I use it daily. My solution was to order an Ameribag luggage grip, attached it to the handles and voila...no more slipping off the shoulder. The slippery handles are my only real complaint. I love it.

I got this bag for a month long trip to Greece. It was perfect and I used it the entire trip. It is so easy to change from shoulder bag to back pack...nothing to reclip.. just pull the straps. It has plenty of pockets and compartments to keep a camera handy. The size is great.. can handle all one needs for a day trip (water bottle & suncreen, etc). The material is nice and does not get too hot against your back. I like the wallet that clips inside with a little elastic "leash" because it makes it difficult to be the victim of a pick-pocket. It is rather expensive, but I was very happy with my purchase. I would love to get some other colors.

I just received this bag in black. I was looking for something that was lighter weight than the large leather bags we are carrying that are hurting our shoulders. I have crossbody bags, but sometimes they cause shoulder pain as well. This bag is attractive, not so sporty looking, plus wisely designed. The only thing that is inconvenient is that there are no handles on the one side so if you want to grab the bag to move it, you have to grab the top two sides of the bag. I think the design would be ruined if there were two handles, so i don't suggest the company do that. The inside center of the bag has a secure zippered large pocket (the bag is a generous 5 inches deep). In addition, in that section there is a nicely sized zippered pocket on one side and on the other are 2 slip pockets with see-through mesh plus a flat 6 credit card slots/zippered/slide pocket thingy attached with a strap and removable clasp. On either side of the main large pocket there is a deep pocket wide pocket (2 total) for more easily accessed items. On the outside there is a vertical zipper deep pocket and a snap tab closed smaller deep pocket for a phone and more. The whole bag is closed with a turn latch. When worn as a backpack everything is pretty secure. You can put either side against your body. The quilting is a horizontally oval design and there is leather trim that gives it a sophisticated look for a lightweight constructed bag. The metal rings where the straps slide through seem very strong. To adjust from a regular shoulder bag or hand bag, to a backpack is extremely easy. It's just a matter of sliding straps. There are 2 side adjustable, 4 hole buckles as well. Inside my black bag is a pink nylon lining that adds a nice touch and makes things easy to see. I like a bag to make logical, organizational sense and this one fits the bill. The dimensions are 13" at the widest part and 12" high.

I purchased this bag because I wanted something slightly larger than the mosey hatchback for weekends. Overall it's a great bag: it looks very cute and the convertible straps are incredibly useful.

That said, there are a few improvements that could be made. First of all, because of the way the bag is constructed the main compartment is really only about 2/3 of the height of the bag (you can see this in the side view of the product). This is probably very efficient from a manufacturing perspective but if you're carrying a bag that occupies a certain volume it would be nice to be able to actually use that space. In addition, the curve of the zipper makes it a little difficult to close with one hand and on occasion the zippers can work themselves open (I've added a small s-biner to keep this from happening). The snaps of the side compartments can also be fiddly to open and close.

So, a couple of flaws but in general I'm very happy with it.

when i first received this backpack, i was amazed at how big it was. it was also very sturdy, due to the fabric lining within the pack. the straps are comfortable, but the metal buckles are somewhat difficult to move. i had it for about 5 months, and the button on the smaller front pocket fell off and was lost somewhere in the woods. this wasn't a huge problem, i just sewed on a button which worked perfectly. this isn't exactly suitable for carrying textbooks(at least not with the amount of crap i schlepp to prison-uh, high school). i would absolutely recommend it to anybody, as long as they don't mind their stuff knocking around, as the material is flexible and lacks the stiffness of a jansport type pack.

This pack is great for mitigating the fact that going through security checkpoints is a necessary hassle. The storage arrangement makes it very easy to access the areas you expect to need to be able to to remove potentially suspicious items, such as laptops, tablets/phones, liquids, and even unique styli or pens. This backpack offers an excellent variety of organization options, is very lightweight and comfortable, and fits easily into small spaces. As for laptop protection, I was a little concerned at first when I noticed that it seemed that my laptop had too much space to be shaken around inside the backpack. However, this proved to be a non-issue due to the huge amount of padding inside (which can even be increased if you carry any spare clothing). While this is called a TSA Backpack, I highly recommend it for international travelers.

I was VERY disappointed with this pack, which has no internal padding to speak of, and virtually no usable internal dividers or pockets. I've been looking for a replacement for my Samsonite Xenon pack, which I have finally worn out after four or five years of extremely hard use, but this pack definitely isn't worth considering. For a student who carries books / notebooks and a laptop, I can't imagine choosing this pack after seeing it in person. I suspect that every time one of the zippers was unzipped, everything in the pack would try to dump itself out. This one is definitely going back, even though I am otherwise a committed purchaser of Samsonite luggage and backpacks.

If you are looking for a school or overnight backpack, this is NOT the one for you. The bag itself is comfortable to wear. The material is good quality and the added pockets are really nice. However, there is not a whole lot of room (as mentioned by others). I use this for a gym bag an find it holds my items needed (shoes, water, towel and a few other misc) perfectly. Would highly recommend.

The bag is very good quality. I had planned on using as a computer bag,i would perfer a little more room. But great diaper or overnight bag. Love that you can change the sling strap to either side of the body.

I have Cystic Fibrosis and I use this backpack to carry around my meds and other things I need. I is comfortable and lightweight. Only downside is that it doesnt fit a full sized laptop.

This bag feels well made, especially considering the price. The cellphone pocket is conveniently placed, and the bag sits comfortably on my back. We loaded it up (relative to it's size) for a 14 mile bike ride and it worked very well. It doesn't have any sort of mesh netting on the back of the bag, so your back will probably get pretty sweaty after a while.

I use this bag when riding my unicycle, its not too big and cumbersome and holds enough for what I need on rides. The cell phone pocket on the front is large enough to hold a Droid Razr Maxx in an otter box case. It's strap is not super thickly padded and is still comfortable to wear for prolonged times. The mesh pocket on the side holds standard sized water bottles and the headphone pocket is placed to easily wear your earbuds.

The two main compartments are not that large though and will conflict with each other if you try to put a lot in the backpack. So if you plan on carrying many items(about 4+ textbooks or notebooks) at one time I would look for something a bit larger.

As far as what I use it for, I would say its an excellent bag for outdoor activities. For the price I would say this an excellent buy. Waiting to see how it holds up in the long run.

My son loves it! I do too. It's very cute. Biggest question I had when ordering was size. Shakespeare makes one child-sized pole that is just under 3' and one over 5'. This is the shorter of the two, which works well for my little guy. If you want a longer one then go with a longer/non-telescopic pole. The fishing pole works very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because when it came the fishing string (for lack of a better term) was all messed up in the reel. I had to figure it out myself and fix it. Once I did all was well! I was a bit worried about getting the telescopic kind, but it works quite well and stays extended well. The sunglasses and little fishing box are very cute! I think this would make a wonderful gift for a little guy!

I bought this bag after owning Ju Ju Be Between and Colombia backpack. They both didn't work for me very well.

I was looking for a bag that wouldn't look like a diaper bag but would still have the organization for the few things you need for a toddler. This bag looks like a school bag and is great I can fit a change of clothes for my boy, a couple of toys, sippy cups, some snacks and of course diapers and wipes. For myself I carry wallet, keys, cell phone and a bottle of water. Just enough for a short trip.

This bag is very narrow, so the outside bottle pockets are snug you can have baby's cups/bottles there, but not a Sigg bottle. A Sigg would fit in the inside bottle pocket though (I have an Oggi stainless steal 26oz and it fits but I still carry it inside the pockets are not very deep).

Because it is so narrow and the outside pockets (the back compartment and the mommy pocket) are flat, they steal from the inside space and it's a little hard to reach the bottom of the bag. So I just roll the spare clothes in a Ziploc and push them to the bottom and have all the rest of stuff on them works for me. Despite being so narrow, this bag stands on it's own a pleasant surprise.

As for the stroller straps they are on Velcro, so if you take them on and off the stroller opening the Velcro, they probably won't last a long time. I just left them on the stroller and attached a couple of carabiners to them to put the bag on because the ones they have are small and hard to open.

The backpack transition is not very easy you have to remove the strap from the shoulder position completely and reorganize it for the backpack. To put it on you bag you have to use both hands simultaneously because the strap slides inside the loop, but once you have it there it works fine. Also, it's great having this option.

It's not fancy the hardware is plastic, and there is a Velcro closer on the back compartment (I would prefer magnetic or a zipper). But as I said it's great for the price, looks sturdy and I don't feel like I need to be careful with it just use it. Also looks like I'll be able to throw it in the washer.

This would be perfect if it was two inches shorter and not so narrow, but really great otherwise.

I've been using this bag for 3 months, and I think it's perfect for everyday use, running errands, etc. It easily fits a spare outfit, a burp cloth or two, and a couple of diapers (and we use cloth so they're bulkier than disposables)in the main compartment. We BF, but it wouldn't be much more crowded with a bottle or two. I keep the changing pad and a travel sized package of wipes in the outside pocket that just closes with velcro, and the other side with the zippered pocket fits wallet, phone, lipstick, etc with room to spare. I mostly carry it like a messenger bag across my body, but when we're using the stroller I find the clips to hang it from the handles to be really convenient. (Safety note: you should be careful about hanging anything heavy from the stroller because it could tip over, but I think it would be hard to load this bag up with enough stuff for weight to be a concern.) I took off a star because I was really excited about the backpack conversion feature, but it doesn't work all that well. I thought it would be good for when Baby was in a front carrier, because you can't wear the bag across your body. It's not had to convert to a backpack with some adjusting and it's fine when you have it on. The problem is getting it on in the first placebecause you are dealing with one long strap, it easily pulls all the way to one side and is awkward to take on & off, especially with a baby on your chest. I don't find that I really want to use it that way as often as I expected to, though, so it's not a big deal. I still really like the bag and appreciate that it's versatile, not bulky & easy to keep clean.
