Light Weight Sling Backpack Sports Bag, Red by Bags for Less

I ordered this bag for my son to carry around his own water bottle and snacks while on our trip to Disney. It is the perfect size without being to bulky. It was large enough to hold a small lunch box, a water bottle, a small (99 cents) first aid box, and an emergency poncho.

I saw other reviews of the same brand of light weight backpacks in different colors but I did not see any for the red one. It's one of my favorite colors, so I decided to jump on it. I'm so glad I did! I'm really happy with the backpack it's very well made, light weight, and comfortable to wear. My first impression with the strap of the backpack was that it may be uncomfortable but actually it's pretty comfortable after having it on for a couple of hours.

I wanted something to take with me to the gym but not something that would be bulky like a regular backpack. This little backpack serves the purpose of me being able to place my notebook, straps, weight lifting gloves, protein shaker bottle, and a 1.5 liter water bottle and still not be bulky. I still have room on the front zipper to put my keys and other small items, if I wanted to. I love it! I would totally recommend one of these to anyone wanting something light with plenty of room.

These backpacks are smaller that I thought but we are going to try to use them for school this year anyway. I standard size folder or notebook does fit but thing that would be bigger than that prob would not. Not a lot of pockets but does have the headphone port that is nice. It is more like an overnight bag or sports bag as opposed to a school bag. It was a good price but since my kids are in 4th n 5th grade they don't carry books around yet it will work.

I knew I was running a risk when I saw the price on these compared to the same item at the Navy Exchange, but it was worth a try! They'll work when you put them on the bag, but whether they'll still be on your bag after the first flight, well . . . The material is quite a bit lower quality than the brand names in the store, and could tear pretty easily if stacked against a corner or metal part of the plane. And the clips don't fit very well, and tend to come loose--not just on one, but on each one I recieved, so it's an engineering error in the plastic mold, not a fluke; but if you are careful, you can make them lock up OK and seem pretty secure. The colors, now the colors, are very nice, a beautiful rainbow! If identification is what you are looking for (as I was) as opposed to a strap meant to keep an old bag closed, these will do very nicely. For the price, I will happily use mine to help me spot all our bags on the carousel!

Doesn't fit the duffle bag that I use for traveling... however, this would make for a great belt, sooo, that's what I will be using it for now! lol :/

Travel Buddies Luggage Set

This luggage set is a FANTASTIC product for kids. I used to have to carry my kids luggage through the airport in addition to my own. Now my kids insist on carrying their own luggage. My son has Archie Alien and my daughter has Percy Penguin. They are great quality, hold enough kid clothes for a trip and have a matching backpack that fits snugly inside when not being used. My kids put their carryon things in the backpack and wheel their luggage. The cases are super quality and we have had no issues with anything breaking on them after much use (when we are not travelling, they use the case to hold their toys and they use the backpacks all the time). I ordered the Lola Ladybug luggage set. The product does not match Amazon's description. I received a 16" suitcase & 12" back pack. The product is LISTED as 18" suitcase and 13" backpack. 16" vs 18" suitcase is a considerable difference when dealing with air travel and trying to pack as much as possible in a carry-on. It was very disappointing to receive the smaller suitcase. The design is nice but the product should be listed accurately so people receive what they think they are ordering.

I have a huge laptop and this fits it perfectly. It is comfortable to carry and distributes the weight of the laptop and school books evenly. I can get 1-2 textbooks in here with a notebook, the power adapter and a wireless mouse plus all the items that normally are in my purse. This laptop case fits very well with my Asus 13" wide screen laptop (Asus UL30A). The foam inside the case is not as thick as memory foam, but definitely thick enough to prevent scratches on the laptop cover. Also, the design of the cover is pretty. Overall, it is a good buy.

I bought this laptop sleeve for my 8 yr old daughter's HP laptop. The fit is great and it has enough "give" to fit her mouse and power cord in it as well. She loves the butterfly design on the sleeve. The only complaint that I have is that the hidden handles aren't usable. They're on the inside of the sleeve, so they can't be used if the sleeve is zipped completely.

High Sierra Evolution 28-Inch Drop Bottom Wheeled Duffel

This is not your ordinary duffle bag. It's extremely light weight, has a well formed bottom and has a bunch or compartments. I crammed it with shoes, sports coat, etc. Came up to about 45 lb which was what I wantd to keep it under the 50 lb airline limit. With plane transfers and considering the bag went to Salt Lake instead of Sacramento (from Ft. Lauderdale) on the home leg of the trip, I think it held up very well. With most duffles you have to kind of tumble through everything to find anything. I put sports coat, pants, shirts in the bottom section where they stayed neatly folded. Underwear went in outside pouches and toiletries went in front pouch. I put three pair of shoes in the "duffle" area on the bottom and was able to access them from the inside bottom with out tussling through everthing else. You'll work out your own system of course but the point is, there are lots of great options.

Two things I don't like about the unit. 1.) It really doesn't stand upright on its own. So when you're in the baggage line you have to lean it against your leg or put the handle in and put it flat on the floor. I knew this before purchasing it though and decided it was worth the trouble. It is. But it would be better if it stood up on its own. 2.) The zippers don't have any sort of a latch or clasp that signifies they are fully closed and keeps it that way. When my bags came off the plane several of the zippers were partially opened and stuff (toiletries, underwear, etc.) was apparent and spilling out. I actually blame this on TSA and assume they didn't take the time or make the effort to close it all the way after inspection but who really knows?

Generally though I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I was looking for a 28 inch tall duffel that would be just under the "oversize" bag measurements and was flexible enough for my needs. Anything taller than 28 inches and the top handle is too high for me to carry the bag comfortably and if shorter than that, I can't pack my flippers. The construction seems quite good, clean, no loose threads, the zippers work smoothly and the top section can serve as one, two or three compartments plus a pouch. Four stars because the bag doesn't stand up.

I initially purchased the size up from this bag. Took one trip on Delta and it got ruined. Very nice bag with TONS of room. I went down a size when I replaced my ruined bag. If you fill the larger bag you are certain to exceed weight guidelines. Still lots of room in the smaller bag. Enough room to pack for two for shorter trips.

Bought this piece looking for a replacement to the heavy 29" Samsonite stuff I lug around the airport. Thought this might be a good option. I also purchased a 25" Ebag duffel so had it to compare to. I had assumed that the 28" High Sierra would have a good bit more room than the 25" Ebag. After having them side by side, that doesn't appear to be the case. The suitcase side of the High Sierra is only about 5" deep while the Ebag one is about 7" deep. So even though the 25" Ebag duffel is about 2" narrower, with the added depth, it appears to hold at least as much as the 28" High Sierra. So my desire to have something that holds more didn't pan out. So I just compared the 2 on the other features. The Ebag just felt like it was put together better. The handle extended longer which I like and the wheels on the Ebag are totally silent. Not the same on the High Sierra. And the Ebag had the separators for the suitcase side. So based on that, I returned the High Sierra and plan to keep the 25" Ebag.

I bought this bag because wanted something slightly smaller for either just a one night away or be my second bag with wheels. I needed something easier to get into the overheard on flights. I haven't had an oppotunity to travel with it yet but the height that the handle lifts to is good and I'm a tall person. It seems like it's exactly what I'm looking for but I can't tell you how it performs yet or how the wheels last on it. May 2013 update. Took my first overnight with it. It did just fine through 4 airports and was much lighter to pick up and place in the overhead. It still didn't fit well in one overhead (small plane) so I had to check it just once at the gate. The handle is a very good length for me. It doesn't lock and goes down into the bag without any struggle.

The design is well thought out with plenty of uncluttered room for larger articles jacket plus whatever you need for a good day's hike in the mountains. I easily carried 10kg.s comfortably. There's also room for a water bladder as well, if you are so inclined. The pocket on the outside is well placed and provides for easy access for all those 'little things'. This is the sort of pack I use for a two three week trip to Asia or such like. This pack fits perfectly! I am 5'8" and 125 pounds, finding a pack that can fit me right was impossible until I tried this one on in Sportsmans and I fell in love! The only thing I would change about the pack is to add a way to clip or loop stuff on the shoulder straps and on the front, when we are shed hunting it would be nice to strap the horns on the front and when I am running the hounds it would be great to strap my Garmin on one side and the Tri-Tronics on the other. Other then that this pack is amazing, I can't wait to throw a B&C Black Bear hide and meat in it this bear season :) I would recommend this pack to ANY girl that wants a pack that fits right, The pockets on the waist are amazing! Well... I haven't had a chance to use it yet, I have to wait until the weather warms up a bit,... however I have picked thru it to make sure everything is right. The fit is AMAZING!! It's as though it was designed for my body. I have purchased a first aid kit and a 105oz hydration bladder.

My only complaint (although minor) is that the pack needs to be able to have hooks to accomodate the hydration bladder. When filled with water, it will not stay vertical. Gravity takes it straight to the bottom of the specified area and then it will fail to function properly. I 'jerry-rigged' a couple of little hooks that correspond with the holes on the water-bladder, and the bag stays put perfectly.

This is an excellent fitting backpack. A great feature is the mesh over the frame where the pack rests on the back. It allows for airflow plus there are no pressure points. Plenty of room to put hiking/hunting essentials. I am very happy with the design and customer service with this company is outstanding.

What a great looking product!! Comfortable to wear, catchy design but not something too loud (if you know what I mean..) I love the fact that my 15" Unibody MacBook Pro fits in it just right, and have plenty of space to put some magazines, tools, external hard drives, accesories for my iPhone, etc etc... it's just PERFECT for the people that likes low profile looking backpacks but with a good amount of space to actually make a use out of it.

It is a little to big for the MacBook Air but stored in a laptop bag it certainly offers extra protection, especially at the security checkpoints at the airport. You don't have to take it out of this case. The design is very pretty and whimsical without being overly girly.

It's very thin and the picture isn't very vibrant at all. The photo online made it look really cool and bright but it wasn't like that at all. And it pretty tight to fit my Macbook Pro.

As of right now there is only one photo of the bag, so here's a little more description.

The right side of the bag has a small snap closure pocket. The left side has a small zip closure pocket with a small mesh pocket in front of it. None of the pockets are large enough to hold a medium-to-large sized smart phone.

The closure for the flap is a 10" length of very noisy velcro.

Inside there are two 6" x 9" open pockets (one in the front, one in the back), slots for pens, and a zipper pocket.

There is a long slash pocket on the back.

The shoulder strap, attached to the bag with swivel hooks, is padded and adjustable.

I love the color and the design and that it's made out of cotton. I was looking for something that could pass as a medium-sized everyday shoulder bag, but this is very large and definitely looks like something I'd take to school, not an office.
