I have a 17 inch laptop and had been looking for a while for a backpack that could comfortably store it. This one does the job very well with some room to spare! The material seems very durable and looks like it'll handle a couple years of heavy use. Nothing terribly special about the inside, lots of pockets and places to store things. The laptop compartment is nice, though. It has a soft, felt side to keep from scratching your computer, with a velcro strap over the top to secure it in place. Overall, I'd place this as one of the best backpacks I think I've ever seen in this price range.

This is a good buy for the price. However, it does not have much cushioning around the sides. My old back back had cushioning all around the sides, but I paid close to $180 dollars for that one. No complains, since I paid around $45 for this one.

The quality is good. No hanging threads. Zippers work well. It has a good fit when I carry it over one shoulder. The straps are very comfortable. There is plenty of room for the laptop (my laptop is 15.75 long, and the backpack has room for at least 2 more inches). There is also plenty of room for several folders, mouse, power pack, phone, phone charger, and my IPAD too.

This is a great laptop backpack. It fully accommodates my 16'' screen sized laptop along with its cooling pad, and charger. There could be a bit more padding for the laptop holding area but, for the price, I really can't complain. The one feature I absolutely love about this laptop backpack is its "speedair" function that allows some space between the back of the backpack and your back. This allows a nice breeze to flow between this area so you don't end up with a wet trail of sweat on your back from carrying a backpack for long periods of time.

The second compartment down from the laptop carrying one is downright cavernous and can swallow a spare shirt and food in tupperware when I am on the go. There are all kinds of small pockets within the other compartments that are really useful. I honestly bought this strictly for my laptop but it is just so versatile that I now use it to transport other things I want to bring along with my laptop. I have been using this backpack for about four months so far and it is not showing any signs of wear.

The backpack is also water resistant and has kept the contents I've had inside of it high and dry during light rain showers. However, I wouldn't recommend exposing it to torrential down pours. If I really had to nit-pick, the two gripes I have with this backpack is that sometimes the straps can slide a bit after use. This doesn't happen often but it can be a bit annoying when it does because it means that I'll have to readjust them to my liking. In addition to this, the straps are each sewn on to a thick nylon triangular piece that can poke you in the back sometimes if you have a semi-wide back like I have. BUT! Like I mentioned before, these are but just minor annoyances to an overall great laptop carrying backpack.

We needed two laptop bags for our twin grandsons new laptops. They needed to be essentially the same but targeted to the individual personalities. These cushioned neoprene foam rubber bags, with the various different available designs are just the perfect solution. We chose the one with the Music theme for the for the musician and the one with the Funny porcupine design for the funny one. They don't have a lot of room for accessories but you can get a mouse and power supply in there because they stretch, it will just be a bit lumpt that way.

Easton Walk-Off II Bat Pack

Just started to play in an adult softball league and wanted a backpack that could carry my gear and have separate compartments for shoes, etc, because I'm a clean freak. This bag met my expectations. It also has ample storage space to the point where it makes me want to buy more gear. Haha. I appreciate the valuables compartment up top next to the hook which gives quick, easy access to my phone, keys, and wallet. The only thing I would suggest is for the helmet sleeve to be completely removable. Not a big deal, but when it's not in use, it's just an extra piece of material on the outside that looks a bit weird if you were to use the bag as a school backpack as well.

Nice bag over all, like the helmet on the outside for more space. also the the bottom flap that comes out for storing gloves when on the field. Very disappointed with the bat holder on sides, kind of a pain to get bats in and out with that top strap design, (just a matter of time before that rips off) should have been a just a tall pocket holder.

How did I live without this for so long? I immediately pinged all my mama friends and alerted them that they don't have to be doomed to wearing the same diaper bag every day. when i first received this backpack, i was amazed at how big it was. it was also very sturdy, due to the fabric lining within the pack. the straps are comfortable, but the metal buckles are somewhat difficult to move. i had it for about 5 months, and the button on the smaller front pocket fell off and was lost somewhere in the woods. this wasn't a huge problem, i just sewed on a button which worked perfectly. this isn't exactly suitable for carrying textbooks(at least not with the amount of crap i schlepp to prison-uh, high school). i would absolutely recommend it to anybody, as long as they don't mind their stuff knocking around, as the material is flexible and lacks the stiffness of a jansport type pack.

I will admit the baby isn't here yet so we haven't actually used it but this is number two for us and I like the style of it so much better than the bag we had for out first. It seems as though it will be big enough for all of our needs and I love that it has a zipper closure on top. Our other bag didn't and the contents would fall out and roll all over my car. So disappointing....the design is beautiful and it's truly a unique diaper bag which could also function as an everyday bag/purse. I did SO much research before finally deciding on this one. I wanted something I could put on my back if necessary but also carry like a tote and messenger which this does all 3. So I went to put it on my back as a backpack and it pinched my arm so hard I have a huge welt on the side of my arm...ouch! I'm not actually sure what pinched me...think it was just the straps moving on the back. But it was empty and now I am worried if I actually fill it up and try to throw it on my back that it will pinch me again. Just not sure that it's really meant well to be a backpack if that makes sense. The straps are flimsy and I can't see it holding a lot of weight comfortably and without pinching. As a messenger bag, it's cute and would be functional. Probably going to have to send it back b/c for $70 I really wanted something to use as a backpack. :(

While this is not the most glamorous bag it is very practical and offers great organization. It has plenty of room for my children's stuff as well as mine. It has just enough pockets to keep things well organized without having too many pockets so that I forget where I have put things. Targus CityGear Chicago Laptop Backpack

I'm a DJ. My Targus CityGear has survived Burning Man twice (which in itself is amazing), as well as many gigs and airplane trips. It is wonderfully designed and well made. Its capacity is ridiculous -I have not yet found a laptop backpack that will hold as much as this does. In fact that's become a problem: I'm spoiled by it. The drawback is that it doesn't have a ton of padding or much rigidity, and your gear is more likely to become damaged if it gets hit. But since I can get all my gear in this, there's literally no comparison. I've tried high-end camera bags, the UDG Producer's Bag, the Namba Big Studio -all very well made, none of them able to fit my gear. I paid about $60 for it, I think -what a bargain, considering the use I've gotten out of it. I highly recommend this backpack.

I didn't consider myself to be a "backpack" person I had always used a strap-over-one-shoulder bag before. But after trying several laptop bags that weren't quite right, I decided to try this one from Targus.

It has been my all-time favorite bag! I've used it for my daily train commute downtown for several years, plus for business travel to Europe, Singapore, and even Indiana! It holds everything I need (including laptop, wires, mouse, etc.), it let's me get through security without hassles, and it fits very nicely in overhead luggage compartments.

My first bag has lasted for over six years. A couple of the zipper pulls have split, but otherwise it still works great. That's why I'm getting the exact same bag again!

And I do carry it with a strap over one shoulder. Just right for me!

I bought this backpack to wear as I commute on my bicycle. I wear a reflective and high visibility jacket, but I felt like my other backpack covered up the reflective and high visibility stuff just where it matters: the part the cars see behind me!

I actually hemmed and hawed a lot before buying this because I just think it's a little expensive for a basic green backpack. I spent some time trying to add reflective fabric to my other backpack but it was a hideous fail. Finally I broke down and bought this. I'm glad I did because it's better than I expected.

It's obviously high visibility, both in terms of color and reflective material (for night time). The reflective strips are quite broad and in reasonable locations. The bottom strip you see in the picture goes around to the sides, the top strip does not. Although it's not visible in the picture, the trim around all the edges of this backpack (the mesh pockets, the zippers) is also reflective. Nice touch. As I was looking around for backpacks, I really wanted one with reflective material on the straps that go over your arms as well. It just seems like a very visible location. Unfortunately that is not the case with this backpack. The shoulder straps are green with a diagonal black strip. Well, there is a very small bit of trim at the intersection of the black and green that is reflective, but it's not much. This means when riding you are not particularly reflective from the front. Just be aware. I may try and add something to the straps some day.

I actually like the use of black on this backpack. This lime-green material is obviously eye-catching, but this effect can be augmented by adding high contrast...patches of black. The bottom of the backpack is black (which helps keep it clean and the area right around zippers is black, and there are the black strips on the front, as well as black nylon straps connected to the shoulder straps. Not bad at all.

The fabric is heavier duty than I was expecting, though nothing unusual for a backpack. I was pleased. Somehow it seems like high visibility stuff is often made of very thin stuff.

The zippers stick pretty easily. I think it's because they easily suck up the mesh liner inside the backpack. It's a small beef, though.

This backpack is significantly taller than expected. Maybe my old backpack was small or something. Anyway I would not be surprised if I could fit a racquetball racket in this without any of it sticking out.

This isn't just a simple backpack by design. The back zipper you see in the picture isn't a pocket, though. It separates the back flap from the rest of the backpack, and it's connected using a bunch of mesh. In other words, unzipping this zipper doesn't allow you to put anything in, but it expands the size of the backpack by a LOT. I'm thinking it's built to accommodate a basketball or something. By the way it unzips around the bottom of the backpack, not the top. Interesting.

Inside the backpack you see the big area surrounded by mesh that can be expanded by the exterior zipper. The interior of the backpack is partitioned into two compartments: the part that expands out and then a larger part on the other side. You can put a lot in this thing. There is also a flap hanging down inside the backpack for putting small things in. Wallets, maybe?

There is a rather large pocket on each side of the backpack, with mesh at the bottom. You can see the mesh in the picture.

There is some padding in between the backpack and your back, as well as in the straps.

Nice backpack overall, and very visible both during the day and at night. Suggestions for improvement: I actually like to adorn myself with blinking lights and it could have been nice to have had something to hang them on. I'll have to rig something up. Don't want anyone to miss me at night!

Canvas and Mesh Backpack for School-College-or as a Day Pack-Olive Drab-Main compartment 16 x 11 x

I recently discovered that carrying a backpack is much easier than carrying a purse and a notebook bag, so that's the reason I wanted a not-so-big one. This is a great size. First, instead of 3 pockets on the front, it has 4. Big plus! They aren't real big, but big enough for car keys and sunglasses so they're easy to get to. Inside pocket sleeve is perfect for my iPad. The inside zipper pocket is a lot smaller than I was hoping, but since there is an extra outside pocket, that's ok. I think this will do it's job just fine. I just got it today, but it looks to be made well. If I have any problems with it, I'll be sure and share.

I wanted an olive green canvas backpack that wasn't too big. This bag is perfect. It has lots of features and details. One mesh water bottle pocket on each side. Three separate pockets on the front, and multiple pockets inside. It even has a "D" ring to attach keys, etc. The canvas cloth is soft but strong. Not waterproof, but I wasn't looking for waterproof. I suppose you could spray it with some waterproofer if that was a must. Overall, the size and details of this backpack make it a great everyday (oversized purse), rucksack, or day pack. I recommend it.

I carry a bag to work on a daily basis so it has to be light, roomy and it has to be a backpack. I do not carry my laptop, so this bag was perfect. Medium size, lightweight and very roomybut do NOT carry your beloved laptop in this unless it is under 15" screen and is in a protective cover. I carry my Nexus 7 with cover-and it's perfect.

I honestly only ever carried Jansports throughout school and forever. When the brewster day pack showed up on Groupon, I went ahead and purchased on in Jade. I have been carrying my 17" laptop and files to work which has been great. I much prefer it to using a messenger bag type laptop bags, the weight distribution across the back is great and the backpack is very light and shoulder padding super comfortable.

I decided to use it one night as a diaper bag. It fit his diapers, outfits, wipes and insulated cooler for his 3 bottles perfectly and with room to spare. The baby's cooler tends to get too cold so I "thaw" a bottle in the insulated portion of the backpack. I think I will be using this more often as a diaper bag.

Simply Good Smart Square Diaper Tote Bag

We were delighted to receive this bag! It's quite pretty and seems very sturdy. I love the way the pockets are arranged, the wipe holder on the front, etc. The only thing that kept that fifth star at bay is that the backpack straps don't come off or fit into the back pocket. You could unhook them from the bottom straps and then stuff them in the back pocket (which isn't designed for such a use, and so will not hold them well), but then you have two long straps hanging down from the bottom of the bag. Additionally, there are no hand straps with which to hold it. So if you cut off the backpack straps, as we were tempted to do, then how do you pick the thing up? Meanwhile, for someone who doesn't want to wear it as a backpack and so uses the shoulder strap, the backpack straps keep getting caught on everything--like you really need that when you're juggling the bag, the baby in his infant car seat, and bending over to pick up the shoe the baby has just kicked off!

If you're looking for a bag that you can wear as a backpack, you will love this one. If not, think carefully before ordering.

We did a lot of comparison shopping, and we thought this was the perfect diaper bag. But now, the baby isn't even three months old yet (and we hardly left the house for the first month) and already the diaper bag is falling apart in several places. Two major seams are coming undone and both stroller straps are coming off.

For this price, I expected something that would hold up longer than a few months.

Overall, I like this bag.

I like the fact it can be used either as a messenger bag or a backpack (I mostly use it as a backpack). It's very spacious with a lot of pockets that accommodates everything I need and still leaves everything organized and easy to reach. Also like the loops to hang on the stroller handles. It looks ok and my husband doesn't get embarrassed to hold it occasionally.

I wish it was of a better quality though. The fabric looks cheap and after only a couple of months of use the stitches are coming out in some parts already.

I'm happy with it, but when I have to replace it I will look for another bag in the same style but from a different brand.

We use this bag every time we go out with our 3 months baby. Even though it is not so big compared to different bags in the market, it fits everything we need and more. I believe if you have bigger bag it gets full somehow so I prefer medium size that's compact and still contain everything needed.

the only thing I would improve is the verity, I'd be happy to have more colors to chose from.

This is a nice bag for the price, I only paid like $35 for it, but if I was going to pay more I would have liked a two pull zipper on the small front pocket, doesn't seem like a big deal but my packs have always had that and now I find it slightly annoying to not have it. But, like I said, but $35 I can deal w it. I've hiked (day hikes) with this pack and it worked just fine for that too.

Got one a few years ago, and it was great!! the wet suit bag was water tight and I have to poor water out of it, and the news are not and got everything else in the bag wet, you know iphones, leather wallets, books... THINGS YOU WANT DRY ALL THE TIME. So ya, like Microsoft Windows 7, more of a down grade than an upgrade from the previous point packs of a couple years ago!!!
