This review is for the 15.4" Air Traveler only, not the Corporate Traveler.

1. Excellent bag for airport checkthrough. Breezed through security at New York JFK and Portland, OR PDX.

2. Ample room for Dell Latitude E6500 15.4", notebook mouse, and computer power cord and thin transformer block. If you have one of the older thicker transformer blocks, I'm sure it would fit, though with a very slight bulge.

3. Very light bag compared to others, but still strong and well made.

4. Romm for some papers, but not a lot. Not meant to be a full briefcase.

5. Strap for fitting over rolling suitcase handle.

6. Front side pockets for things like air tickets, one zipped and the other open but deep and snug enough so that tickets won't fall out.

7. Easily fit under seat of AirBus 320.

This case was everything I had hoped it would be. Light weight and comfortable to carry thru the airport. Zipped right thru TSA as advertised without removing the laptop from its case. It held a lot of other things comfortably in the case, but I always felt the laptop was also properly protected. Had no problem fitting both the case and my very oversized purse under the seat in front of me. Would definitely recommend.

The bag is as described no surprises. The checkpoint friendly feature has worked as designed without any issues in security (LAX, SFO, ORD, MDW).

If you occasionally travel for business with out a lot of extra stuff this bag is adequate. If you are a frequent traveler you will be disappointed.

Here are my thoughts on the design flaws:

*The strap is terrible slowly extends if you carry it for any distance. I have been walking from the hotel to the office rather than taking the shuttle about 15 minutes each way. The strap slowly comes loose as you walk and constantly falls off your shoulder.

*Other reviewers noted that there is not much space for documents definitely an issue. it holds a decent amount, but certainly you won't be carrying any books or binders along with those documents.

*Bag does not allow you to carry anything that is oddly shaped specifically you can't get noise canceling headphones in without a struggle. Mine collapse down pretty small and it is tight. So many business travelers carry these and it is hard to get them in the bag if you are carrying documents as well.

*No water bottle holder.

Pros are that it seems durable and as noted the security feature worked fine. My iPad slides right into the middle and when you separate it for the airport scanner you can grab it and drop it into a bin leaving the laptop in the laptop sleeve section. An advanced design would include a flap for iPads that flips out when you open the case for scanning.

There's not a lot of bells and whistles with this bag, it isn't super stylish. BUT it isn't too heavy, it seems pretty durable and it is great for airline travel. I would recommend it for frequent fliers who don't have to carry too many paper files along with them.

I bought this as a upgrade because I had so much extra tech stuff that it would not fit my other bag. the front pocket holds my: mouse, 7 USB hub, 9-Piece USB 2.0 Adapter Retractable Cable Kit w/Vinyl Case, some pens and pencils, and a few small cords. The area behind the front pocket has a divider to separate important documents but i use one side for electronics and the other side for papers. I don't travel so i haven't used the EZ-Travel component of the bag but i will use it if i get more electronics. HAHA. I have a 15.6 Toshiba laptop and it fits great. there is a velcro strap in that pocket, and i find it useless because even with a larger than recommended laptop it still will not work to secure it soundly plus if i use it than its one more thing i have to do to get my laptop out. It is very professional looking; for the price of an average bag at Staples. There are two open ended pockets for easy access but I don't use them because they are 1. open; so anyone can see whats there, 2. open; so anything can fall out. They are however big pockets; stretching almost all the way across the bag. It comes with a standard shoulder strap with an O.K. slidable padding strip.

Good points:

* The case unfolds to allow it to pass through an x-ray without removing the laptop.

* Well constructed. You can expect this case to survive years of abuse by even the most seasoned road warrior. The fabric is nice, pleasant to touch and water resistant.

* It has a trolley strap so you can place it on the handle of your roll-along bag.

* The laptop compartment is plush lined. It won't scratch or mark your laptop.

Bad points:

* The case splits in the middle. This means that the strap has to be offset which causes the bag to hang in an unbalanced way.

* The storage compartment is domed it is cut to bulge outward. This means that most of the internal pockets will not hold their contents they spill out into the main compartment.

These two bad points make for a quite poor bag. I would not recommend it.

This bag is light, convenient, practical and durable. I use it weekly when I travel. I carry my laptop, IPad, 2 cell phones, charger cords, papers and my bag of 3 oz personal items in the bag. It sits nicely on my carry on wheeled luggage. I never remove my laptop when going through security. I pull out the bag of 3 oz personal items, unzip the Belkin bag, lay it flat, scan, put personal items in bag then zip the laptop section up and go. It's a winner!

This case has lots of room for extras, plus you don't have to remove the laptop for airport security. I'd recommend this product to anyone that travels. The one slight negative could be that it's larger than most laptop cases.

+ The main reason I bought this was to help through the airport. No problems with the TSA having to take my laptop out of this bag.

+ Has plenty of storage. I usually just carry the charger and a mouse.

-The shoulder strap is attached to the section the laptop is not in. In my case (and I suspect for most people) the laptop is the heaviest thing in the bag. So when I unzip the laptop for preparation to put on the X-Ray belt, the thing spreads apart. If the shoulder strap was moved to the section w/ the laptop I wouldn't have this problem. Of course doing so, may prevent the TSA from approving it.

-Wish it had more padding. Again, this may prevent TSA from approving it, so I can't take points off for that.

Bought for 5 year old twin girls who are obsessed with princesses and it was a huge hit! They are just the right size for little girls as they can be either carried (they are small backpacks) or pulled (and the handle is short), and they hold about the right amount of stuff for a girl that age since the idea is that the little girl would manage and not need a parent to hold or carry the bag for them. Loved the girly pink frill.

Nice bag, I'm sure that my niece is going to just love it, but it seems that you are just paying for the Disney name and the characters on the bag. The bag was smaller than I thought and doesn't appear that it will last a school year, I will have to wait and see. I purchased other bags a dollar or two cheaper that were much better.

Cute backpack but we learned after a year of full day kindergarten that the straps and back aren't very comfortable because these types of backpacks lack padding and extra support where it's needed. They are constantly complaining their backs hurt and I can't blame them.. I was (and still am) looking for a stylish, sleek, leather laptop bag that I can wear as a backpack since I take the bus and walk to work. I find that over the shoulder bags tend to put to much strain on just one shoulder, so am opting for a business type backpack. From the picture this bag looks sleek and stylish. When I actually got it, its huge! It's clunky, forget about getting anything out of it quickly, like money, wallet, phone, id...anything. There are no exterior (quick to access) pockets. This means you have to actually take it off, turn it around, undo the outside clasp, then open the akward, tall pockets in the bag, while making sure nothing else falls out. Simply put, I hate it! This bag might be what other people are looking for, but for me it's simply too big and cumbersome. On top of everything else, the backpack straps are connected to the bag with metal loops on an extended flap. This causes the bag to hang away from your back. If you're ever on the bus, busy city streets, or busy conference centers, you will definitely be hitting people with this bag. To recap...I hate it!

When I purchased this backpack for my laptop, I was unsure whether it would accommodate my lap top. The dimensions on the page said that it would fit up to a 15" screen lap top. Well I have Dell Inspiron with a 17" screen, and it fits. It is snug, but it works. It has three separate compartments; for your laptop, files and miscellaneous items, and all of you adaptors and things that you use along with your computer. There is also a make-up bag attached also. The bag appears to be sewn together well. The straps are comfortable and the pink and black is so cute. Overall, I have no complaints. I love it.

Outdoor Research Drycomp Ridge Sack Backpack

I wanted a waterproof day sack, and looked hard at a lot of different packs, and actually bought another and sent it back, before settling on this one. I've now used it twice snowshoeing and it seems to be pretty good.

I already have lots of different packs of many different kinds and dimensions, but I needed something waterproof, that was still light enough to carry as a daypack.

I had two specific quite different uses in mind: snowshoeing and paddling.

For paddling, until now I've just carried a dry bag down to the water, but I wanted a backpack so I could cycle down to the water instead of driving my car. There are lots of dry bags with backpack straps, but a lot of them don't have a good way to lash on my very light carbon paddle, and they tend to be kind of heavy and clumsy as packs.

For snowshoeing, and general day hiking, I wanted something that works fairly well as a backpack and this one seems to fit and ride on my back pretty well. I live on the West Coast, it's a wet place, and I don't know how many times I've come home, reasonably dry, but without a pack cover, everything in my pack has gotten damp. Snow in the mountains on the North Shore can be pretty damp it's nice to have a pack that can sit in the snow and keep its contents dry.

It's pretty light but how tough? The waterproof fabric seems rather fragile, but I suspect it's tougher than it looks.

The mesh on the front will probably get trashed I can live with that if the rest of the bag holds up.

I would've preferred slightly thicker backpack straps, but they're reasonably comfortable.

No structure at all to this pack it's just a bag so you do have to pack a bit carefully. No padding on the back, so it can be a bit sweaty to wear, but if it did have padding, and structure on the back, it would've been heavier and I'd be a little less inclined to get it wet with seawater.

I like the size not too big, not too small. I'm 5'10" and fairly big in the shoulders, and it fits well, although even at its lowest setting, the sternum strap is a bit high. Mostly I don't use it, but it was handy to have when descending a steep slope on snowshoes.

It's kind of expensive, but if it holds up I won't mind paying the extra price for waterproofness. If it were a bit cheaper and had slightly better backpack straps, I might've been inclined to give it the full five stars instead of four.

I may update this review after using it on the water for a while.

I am an avid cyclist living in the northwest and I definitely get wet. Not now. Or at least not whats in my new backpack. Only drawback is packing it theres no frame. If your object is odd shaped it might stick in your back. Just putting alittle thought in packin and your fine as frogs hair.

Took this on an overnight trip to meet up with my raft group. Since I was going to be on the river for 2 weeks I also wanted a pack that would work as a dry bag. At the end of the trip I was quite pleased with this pack.

This is definitely in the ultra-lite/minimalist category. Size wise it's somewhere between a day pack and an overnight pack, or pretty much a large day pack. I had to fly to my destination than camp out that night before hiking down 6 hours to the river so I used it as an overnight pack. Because I was camping out I had to strap my sleeping bag on the bottom of the pack which took a little creativity, but it did work and I didn't have any issues hiking all morning that way. It is at the almost overnight pack size so I do wish they would have stuck a few tie points on the bottom to allow you to tie something on if you need to, but for the average user they won't ever need that.

The shoulder straps and waist belt are minimalist, which did worry me at first. However they performed adequately. I was hiking with the pack stuffed to the gills and then some what with stuff tied to the outside. This caused me to feel the straps by hour 4, but considering how much more weight I had in the pack then it was probably designed for, it wasn't too bad. Later in the trip I used this pack for a short day hike and the minimalist design of the shoulder straps worked great.

At the end of the day I threw extra gear into this pack, rolled up the top and threw into the bottom of the raft for 2 weeks were it kept all my gear dry through a lot of rapids. So all in all I am quite pleased with this little one.

Dakine Men's Factor Backpack

I just picked this pack up a few weeks ago and here are my thoughts:

Pros:

+ Durable: This thing is the sturdiest backpack I've ever owned. If you're used to lugging your stuff around with a Jansport, you'll be very pleasantly surprised how nice and thick the material is. I've seen a few people complain about broken zippers, but they seem just fine to me.

+ Comfortable: The 'yoke' style straps are great and well padded. The back also has a very nice semi-rigid material that keeps it flat against your back, rather than bulging when things are packed in it.

+ Well designed: In addition to the previously mentioned rigid back panel, the laptop compartment keeps your laptop suspended above the bottom of the bag. This is an awesome feature, since it'll keep your laptop safe when you carelessly drop your backpack on the ground. The chest strap is also terrific. It's adjustable in two different ways and keeps the bag really tight against your body if you need it. Also, things like the fleece-lined, top glasses pocket are great little additions.

+ Perfect Size: Before ordering this backpack I was kind of stuck between this one and the Campus bag. The campus is a little bigger and since I will sometimes be using it for school I had concerns that I'd be able to fit all my books in the Factor. I definitely made the right choice. I'm a pretty small guy (5'6") and the Factor is ideal. It can easily hold a couple textbooks, a binder, and some other small things, but is still small, streamlined, and stays tight against the body when I'm bike commuting.

+ Cheap!: Seriously, at 25-40 bucks this is an awesome deal. I think I paid almost as much for my crappy Jansports. And I had to replace those every year or two.

+ Stylish: Sexy. What more can I say?

Cons:

Hmmmmm...The only thing I can think of is that it would have been nice if there were a latch to hold the laptop in place on top. Not a huge deal.

AAAAAnd that's my review. This is a terrific product and well worth the money. Unless you're looking for something that can hold 7-days worth of food, traveling supplies and a tent, this bag is exactly the right size.

I have two of those backpacks black and bomber i have 5 Dakine bags in a last 3 years...

Zippers can fail sometimes but nobody is perfect.. LOL

Great backpack exactly what I was looking for! 1st off let me say that I primarily will use this backpack for recreation / traveling, not for school, for this use I was looking for something smaller sized, with a laptop compartment and a few organizer compartments. While I label this as a smaller backpack it's really not, its just a normal size, I think you can prob fit a 14in laptop, folder and 2 textbooks (depending on size). It would work well for school depending on your class load but if you carry a bunch of textbooks you may want to go with the 101 (which I also have and plan on using for school). But this is the perfect pack for traveling, it's small, comfortable and has a lot of functionality!

JanSport Carson External Frame Backpack

Just returned from a camping trip with the Jansport Carson and I am very impressed. I hiked with 50 pounds of supplies, but this pack is so balanced I could hardly feel it. Hiked 9 miles to camp without an issue.

This is my favorite piece of backpacking equipment that I own. I had used an internal frame for a while, but it never felt comfortable no matter how I packed the dang thing. After some research, I decided that I was going to try an "old school" external frame. Fortunately for me, there weren't many options so I went with the Jansport Carson 80.

Now your first thought may be like mine was "isn't Jansport the guys who make school backpacks?" Yes they are, but don't let that fool you. I like having plenty of extras with me, and considering we'll go backpacking during any weather conditions, it's nice to have space to stuff those extras. I've hiked this bag at a weight of 40lbs and did so with much greater ease and less fatigue than I have an internal at 20lbs. And did I mention that this thing is huge!

I've enjoyed it so much that my brother finally broke down and bought one himself. For the price of this bag, you just can't beat it. As for the comments about straps breaking; I've had mine out several times now and I have yet to have any problems with straps or buckles on this beast.

The only complaint I can have with this bag is deciding what to put in all that space!

I've owned this bag for 3 years now. It's been on about 15 backpacking trips. The velcro strap that is holding onto the frame was the first thing to break after 2 years. I still use it though. This pack is very large. I've carried over 50 lbs numerous times with it. You can strap anything anywhere with paracord, that's the advantage of an external frame. Very impressed I just wish the top compartment had the zipper on the outside instead of the back of your head, it makes it hard to access when the bag is sitting upright. Overall great value for the money and comfortable.

Belkin Wilshire Collection, Slim Ultra Durable Case, Fits up to 15.6-Inch Laptops (BLACK)

I ordered the Belkin Slim Ultra Durable Case because I was looking for an attractive no-frills bag. When I opened the shipping box, I knew I had made the right decision.

The main compartment is just large enough to hold a 15.6" HP dv6t laptop with a standard battery. It's cushioned fairly well on the sides and bottom. The interior lining is a standard fabric and won't scratch the currently prevalent glossy plastic finishes on laptops. The zipper opens and closes smoothly and the teeth have sufficient clearance so I don't worry about it scratching the laptop during use. The zipper pulls, made of brass, also have lock holes so you can secure it with a luggage lock.

There is only a single pocket on this case but it encompasses the entire front of the case. The zipper is about 1/4 of the way down. The zipper teeth are hidden for a more attractive appearance and glide smoothly as well. This pocket is definitely large enough to hold papers, legal pads, file folders, etc. I use it to hold my AC adapter and a notebook mouse.

The clips on the shoulder strap are very nice and swivel in all directions but the pad could use more cushioning. Most 15.6" laptops weigh anywhere from 6-9 pounds so more padding would've really helped with comfort. On the other hand, there are two comfortable handles for easy carrying when your shoulders get sore. Lastly, Belkin's website states the bag has a lifetime warranty but the tags on the bag all say 1 year. I printed a copy of the website just in case.

The Belkin Slim Ultra Durable Case is the perfect slim business laptop case. It has a classy and professional appearance and has just enough utility for the minimalist. Road warriors would be wise to stay far far away because the case only has a single large pocket and isn't as comfortable as you'd like. But for those of us who want a simple and attractive bag, this one is just right.

So many laptop bags are bulky with extra pockets that I never use. Outside of buying a sleave, this is the thinnest that I have found. Perfect for my Thinkpad T-500, with a little extra room to spare. Great for travel. There are better alternatives, but all of them are priced over $100.

KF Baby Diaper Bag Insert Organizer, Black

I was a bit concerned when I got this in the mail (looked a bit bigger than what I had pictured) but it was perfect for my diaper bag (jeep brand). The compartments are just the right size to stand up any medications, toys, diapers, wipes, snacks anything you might put in your bag...plus I still have room on the side to put extra cloths! And now my husband can also find everything without leaving a disaster behind!!!

I ordered this organizer so I could easily slip this in and out of a large purse and leave this behind at daycare. I am tired of continually carrying two bags, one for myself and one for my child. Based on other reviews, the material is a little better quality than I expected. Looks like it will be easy to clean. However, this organizer is MUCH larger than I anticipated. My current purse/bag narrows at the top, so I'll need to purchase another bag so this works. It fits, but doesn not slip in and out easily. So, while this organizer will serve it's purpose, it is not working out like I imagined because of its size. Also, It has many more pockets on the outsided that are difficult to see in the picture, which is a plus for me. More pockets=better.

I would purchase this again.

This would be great if you only wanted to put bottles or things of that size in it. But if you want to put little toys, pacifiers, etc in it, they would just get lost somewhere in the bottom. Then dividers aren't sewn into, or connected to the bottom in any way. So small items just get lost in the bottom, and not stay in its own little pouch.

We bought the red one too for our other twin, we are happy with that purchse as well.

I had to get a bag w/ enough support and room for many books...(nursing program). It's held up pretty well so far w/ no problems and I have to drag this thing thru street n rocks, conrete, & brick. Its only been a month but its held up great and I get alot of compliments in it being so different and cool lookin.

This looked like a nice sturdy back pack for my son. He has CF and is smaller than most kids so he has a real hard time carrying all the books he has in school so I thought this rolling back pack would be great. It has been great, he loves it but he's only had it for 2 weeks and already has worn holes in the bottom, I think it's his fault for trying to roll it the wrong way but...there are holes on both sides already.

We bought this for our 6th grade daughter, knowing that the load of books and binders would definitely be too much for her small frame to carry. The backpack is nice and roomy...fits her thick textbooks and binders with no problem and easy to roll. Well-made. Great purchase. Recommend.

WB Road Trip Scooby Doo mini backpack - My first adventure small backpack

After just a few weeks of use the handle at the top tore on one side and isn't usable anymore. It's not that big so nothing heavy ever went into it. He was very upset about it.

This backpack does NOT have padded sholder straps. Meaning the roughly 1 inch nylon you expect to be below the padding to adjust the length of a strap, that stuff makes up the whole length of the sholder straps. However, the picture on the front is adorable, and raised on the backpack which makes it a fun texture for a toddler. Unlike some of the other Scooby backpacks the picture is friendly and positive. All the stitching looks good, though we havn't started using it yet but if you are ordering this for your a toddler in preschool, be aware you're going to have to sew some padding on the straps yourself. An inconvenience, but reasonable when you're paying less than $16 for a Scooby Doo trademark item. And fulfilled by amazon, which means you can expedite the shipping if you need it for the start of school like we did. I'm learning not all sellers offer that to all places. All in all not our first choice, needs a little customizing, but not a bad backpack. And amazon totally saved the day with the expediated shipping when no one else would to Hawaii. I guess money can't buy everything after all, lol.

This is a great pack, I've taken it every where from school, surfing, rock climbing, and hiking the local mountains and it has proformed flawlessly. The features this pack includes are a laptop sleeve (great also for a camelbak or similar product because of the insulation), a belt strap (great for hiking) and a ton of internal organizational pockets in the main pouch and in the smaller top pouch. The arm straps are also generously padded towns the back seems to have a stiff pice of plastic, helping to maintain the shape of the bag. The two side pouches are large enough to carry water bottles, and there is a small phone/wallet pocket on the top as well. I have only a minor gripe with this pack; it is that the picture shows hooks on the external clinching straps, but in reality it is a simple metal buckle. I would have like to have had those side hooks to get into the main pouch easier, but this in no way diminishes the pack's utility. If you have the means to buy this pack, I suggest you do for it not only can take a beating and look good doing it, it has the Kelty unconditional life time warrantee making this the last backpack you will ever need to buy

Built NY 13" - 15" Laptop Sleeve - Navy Blue

This case is great and really protective; however it is a hair too small for my dell e1505 (15.4 widescreen), so I'm getting the 17inch model to better accommodate. Great product, I just wish it was a tiny bit bigger.

I have a 14.1 inch screen Dell and this fits ONLY if stretched. Poor execution if it should fit a 13-15" laptop.

The product is well made and nice, but it is difficult to put a 15" notebook in it. It fit so tight that I think it was made for another size, but not, it is for 13" to 15" notebook.

My Dell laptop is 14-inches in length by 9.75-inches wide, however it does not fit in this sleeve. The length of the sleeve is too short as the zipper won't close.

LeSportsac 13 Inch Laptop Bag

This bag does not fit my 10-inch laptop! So it is very small compared to what you expect. If you have another use for it, it is great with the matching weekender which I also bought. I am keeping the weekender because I have matching Baggalini travel bags to match it, but I wish they offered this style larger. It should not be advertised as a laptop bag.

I got this for my sister and she loved it. It was made of good material but to my opinion it should have a little more padding.
